Guest Reviews
- Kathleen (10/5): - Amazing place to stay! We will be back!
- Herminia (2/5): - This place is a long way out from Manila there is no way of getting there unless you have transport in the room we stayed in there was no power points for the electrical gadgets although they had a jug in the room we had to get them to heat it up for us and the beds are not comfortable pillows was flat and no head support they only had a sheet to cover for warm as it gets cold out there at night
- Marc Rowland (4/5): - I stayed at their deluxe room. The indoor pool was outdated, also you have to ask the office management to open the water valve to fill up the indoor pool. No jet stream like the jacuzzi. Also maybe just happened to me, the bathroom handle doesn’t work properly but the good thing, they were able to fix it immediately. If you are a foodie lover, this property is in between of good foods
- Ice (8/5): - The total service was good. The staff were approachable and always ready to assist us. The only thing that I notice was most of the pools are not available and not that clean as well. We only enjoyed our stay in the room. Cafeteria only have few food options and a bit pricey. But it was a good thing that they are allowing guests to order thru online food delivery.
- babc333 (6/5): Splash Away! - When we arrived, nobody assisted us, and we were still carrying our baggage from the airport. There were two entrances: one for the resort and one for the hotel. Thankfully, a vendor pointed us in the right direction. When we got to the reception, the staff took their sweet time assisting us. When we got to our room, the air conditioner was on the floor and there were no outlets. The food was great, though, but overall, our experience was a bit underwhelming.
- Anthony (6/5): - Many pools to enjoy. Friendly staff. Comfortable sleeping accommodations. Little or no hot water in the shower.
- David (4/5): - Rooms were dated with limited power points. No wifi. Tv didn’t work often because of poor internet. Room was not cleaned during our two days stay. No water in room. Ants and mosquitoes. Shower was powerful and good. Towels good quality. Staff were good. No gym or spa although advertised. No bar
- Sterling (10/5): - The landscaping is very inviting & blends with the natural beauty 😍 of the Philippines.
The owner to the staff were very welcoming & accommodating from arrival to departure.
Thank you very much for your hospitality to my family of 11 including the dogs for a one week stay.
Kindly
Sterling Hubbard sr.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful and safe resort with good pricing. Will visit again.
- EDDY (8/5): - Actually it was there staff which made our stay worth...since they just open a month ago because of the pandemic.....the place is not that attractive, even our room has no phone, no cable, no internet. You have to go down to the splash cafe to get a net
- 723ricos (2/5): Birthday celebration - Not all pools are always available..overcharge for the passes of wine and drinks..and also the vedioke so higher rate....I cannot come again to this place...but before that I thank you for your hotsprings
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There are so many pools
- lhengbarce (4/5): Dirty - Pools not clean as soon they open the resorts. Not all pools are always available. So many big flies. Understaff. Most of the area is under construction. Please check venue before final payments, you never know if you like it.
- yengm2015 (6/5): Sleep over - Easy to locate along the road. Staff were friendly, parking was enough, rooms were small but can accommodate 4 PAX without breakfast. CR is a little small - no bidet, no hot shower. Pool area is big with slides and tables. Just right for short sleep overs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bit old facility
- Gel (6/5): - at least renovate your rooms
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We booked only to realize the big slides where closed as out of season (my fault) They allowed to check in early which was nice of them.
I noticed dog poo in between 2 of the pools which was unpleasant - stray dogs roam the place when it is not so busy. The place is on a road bend where the vehicles are often traveling @ speed so be careful.
The showers in the room were cold but bearable. The breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly on the whole. 3/10
- Verified traveler (8/5): - good place
- V6103OHnic (6/5): 3 years old kids is not free - The resort charges per head no matter how old you are. There’s not much customer service you can expect. There are many staff and life guards but you can’t rely on them, they only popout once the giant slide is on. I would not come back.
- Morgan (10/5): Just Perfect... staff is so nice! :) - Amazing
- Edna (6/5): Never Again - i was disappointment with one of the front desk agent when I asked for blow dryer. He said they have none and the agent suggested that I dry my hair using the big industrial fan in the lobby. What a horrible suggestion. I saw a fan in the reception area and pleaded that if I can use it but he will not even work with me. I asked to speak to a Manager but I have to wait until Manager arrives at 8am. When I returned at 8am, I complaint to the other front desk agent but no call back from the Manager. I waited for a courtesy call just to acknowledge my service concern but I guess GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE is not their priority. I had reserved 5 rooms for my family and I think I deserve a better treatment than what I got.
However, I have to give it to the Coffee Shop servers - they are very accommodating and had given us excellent service. Lesson learned - I will never book this hotel again,
- Ross (2/5): - This place is a scam. There is no security, sketchy people hanging out watching you. Room is nothing like they show on website. No electrical outlets to charge your phone, AC hardly works, and youhave to shower in the dark, no lights. Water park? What water park? Pools are all closed, no water slides, the place is a dirty joke. Want to buy a coke? It takes 10 minutes for them to run somewhere and get your change and handwritten receipt, This place is a sham, thanks Orbitz.
- Incline_Traveler (2/5): Do NOT Waste Your Time Or Money - This place sucks. We booked it about 6 months ago through Orbitz. I thought it had a lower rate due to it being in Calamba, where my wife is from. Firstoff, it is NOTHING like the website shows. There is NO security here, and very questionable people just hanging around doing nothing, neither guests or employees. 2 pools out of 10 open, and both dirty, and hot water in them with 90 degree weather. The room was not what we paid for (family triple room). The AC barely worked, NO power outlets at all for charging phone, laptop, etc. One bare light bulb in bathroom, and you have to shower in the dark. The manager tried to tell us that the pools "have maintenance being done on Mondays and Tuesdays" (we arrived on Monday), but it was obvious they hadn't been cleaned or maintained for months, maybe years. My wife, from Calamba, refused to stay there. We left after 1 hour, and found another resort. Themanager tried to keep us from leaving, and offered a better room (at higher price), and begged me to look at it. It was separate building down the road. We entered, and there was no one at the front desk! He walked around yelling for someone to come downstairs. He also said there was a pool a block away we could use I told we have had enough, and left. DO NOT GO HERE, THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE!
- Verified traveler (10/5): A decent place to stay - The staff are friendly and the service is good. However there is no elevator so it's a little hard for elderly guests to go up and when the room is on the 3rd floor.
- erikder (8/5): Nice hotel, lot of swimming pools, close to shops, nice personal - Perfect place for a short relaxing vacation, specially with kids, they have a lot to explore.
Surrounded by walls, so they have to pass the reception to get out.
Even in the rainy season (july) nice to be in the hot springs.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Budget friendly average service hotel - The stay is just average. There a some lacking amenities at the hotel like slippers inside the room for instance and telephone for room service. Good thing our room is just adjacent to the information. Food is good thank God. Hope they can improve their amenities.
- Luigandah (6/5): Not so good service - We checked in at the hotel and find it very disappointing. There are many things that are lacking in the room. No slippers, no telephone (you need to go to the front desk if you need anything.) there are mosquitoes in the room too. The indoor pool/jacuzzi is just average. Good thing that the water is not that cold and a bit relaxing. The food is also average. Staff from the cafeteria is friendly too. But overall everything is just average. Unlike the their sister company City of Springs which we visited a year ago. Hope they can improve their service so many tourist will opt to come and visit them.
- JensKirkebjerg (6/5): lack of information, and lack of maintenance - We did not use their hotel, so this review is only on the water park.
We were here in the middle of the week, so the fun area with all the fun slides and the splash area, was closed, but no information about this, on their web page, and also not at the entrance. We were a pax of 11 people, with a lot of kids - can you imaging, how disappointed they were.
They had a lot of other pools that were open. The water was not clean, but also not dirty - acceptable.
The place is not maintained properly, and could really use some paint - it is low cost, but could make a huge difference on the impression you get, first time visiting.
All in all, we had a nice day at the resort, but if the water park / splash area had been open, then all would have been much better.
My recommendation to the owners - please be so kind and tell people on your web page and at the entrance, that the fun area is only open wekends
- davehY513RM (4/5): Day visit - This was a most dissapointing visit. A range of pools are on offer but changing facilities are poor to non existent. The area has disgusting showers and toilets which were overflowing and filthy. I changed behind a table. I guess most people go from their rooms or come prepared. We ate in the restaurant which was expensive and extremely average. Would not recommend.
- virgin7usrn (6/5): Private jacuzzi is worth it - room is at an average but its so different in the sense that you have your own jacuzzi inside the room. its accessible and easy to visit. food is simple and just right serving, but no special taste expected to be. service is quite ok, but several times hard to catch attention of attendants since room we had is a bit far from the reception, and no one is answering phone, so, you need to go out of the room and ask for request you want. I wish this could be improve. Wifi connection in the area is so limited, so you could take the opportunity to focus only on relaxing.
- EJDReyes (6/5): Splash of FUN - The place was great but I suggest you make it an overnight stay if it's summer time. The water is warm and will be best enjoyed at night, though my kids had fun with the slides. Clean place and with several pool choices.
- 332jmf (2/5): not worth it - pag pasok ko ng cr yung towel sa floor basa na parang hindi nilinisan yun cr. tapos yung shower nila sobrang init nakaka paso di ka maka ligo ng maayos. yung cafeteria nila walang sumasagot sa phone. yung front desk nila ayaw tanggapin yung order namin kasi daw mas malapit kami at kami na lang daw ang pumunta? nasa 3rd floor kami nasa ground floor sila pareho mas malayo? saka may radio sila. pag ka order ng food after 25 mins dumating yung food malamig na yung hot water at nalimutan yung coffee mix. nalimutan din kutsara. nakaka walang gana. hotel rate sila nyan ha. no wonder kokonti nag pupunta sa resort nila.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good for family outing
- BarcelonaRegular (2/5): Faded Memories of a long ago popular Place - this place has definetly seen better times... we had a room for one night with indoor hottub which is in itself a nice touch. the room had old curtains and furniture, the glasswalled bathroom had broken fixtures and it seemed as if we were the only ones in that part of the hotel. we werent sure if it was common that there were no blankets to sleep in provided. staff was friendly though.
when we explored the premises by daylight it became even more ovbious that this hotel fell under the aging side of times - many slides and corners of the hotelgrounds looked as if not in use anymore. if you are into "faded glamour" photography you will find lots of opportunities though!
renovation of entire hotelgrounds, room furniture and fixtures would do wonders.
- MarieGraceLardizabal (8/5): Great and relaxing experience - This resort is open 24 hours so that's very convenient especially for people who wants to swim at a later time. We arrived around 9 PM and there were still a lot of other people swimming, the temperature of the water is very relaxing and rejuvenating.
I gave 4 stars because they are quite under staffed, or maybe because there was a media team who arrived early morning before we left and we wanted to eat in their restaurant but no one was paying attention to us.
So we just ordered via room service and all in all the food was good, maybe they were really just busy that time attending to the media crew.
We availed the room with the mini pool and that was the best because the water in the room was also naturally heated and remains heated for a long time.
Globe signal inside the room was quite poor but you can just go outside the room for a faster signal.
Overall experience, 9/10
- kalad_karen (6/5): Splash Mountain Suites - We stayed at the Splash Mountain SUITES (the other two options are the hotel, and Oasis). All three are within the Splash Mountain compound.
PROS:
Booked this weeks ago and didn't have to pay in advance. Just called them days before to confirm our booking and that was it.
Quiet. It is situated between the two hotels and a few minutes-walk away from the pool areas.
Access to all pool areas. Your choice of hot, warm, or cold pools.
Roomy. We were three, and we were in a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed.
A/C working just fine.
LCD TV working just fine. Cignal is the cable provider.
Free plated breakfast - choice of Intercontinental, Filipiniana, and the other 1 I forgot. Ample serving. You can take your breakfast at the dining area or inside your room.
Good customer service from the front desk to the servers to the lifeguards to anybody we talked to during our stay.
Food prices on the menu are reasonable, ample serving, and tastes good. Loved the chopsuey (fresh vegetables) and the Eight Treasures soup.
CONS:
Having stayed in many places in Los Banos, I think it's a bit pricey for what we got.
Not all pools were operational during our visit.
NO BIDET in the CR! How can they call it a "suite" when there is no bidet but a pail and a dipper? I can't even make if our room had hot & cold shower because the shower is poor/has low water pressure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice staff, courteous and helpful. - The rooms needs improvement so small rooms but the facility is great. Staff are very good.
- Leo09871234 (2/5): Very Poor Customer Service - That lady named Rowena doesn't know anything about customer service. She did not show any concern to the customers. She will cut your conversation and will command you. Who's the customer? You, Rowena? 😡😡😡
- markmarkmark711 (6/5): "HOT SPRING" (seriously) - PROS: Great staffs, many pools for adult and children.Life guards were very attentive.
CONS: "HOT" spring is quite hot, to be honest. There are no shades in the pool, there was a net though somehow in 2 adult pools which can barely cover those but still you can feel the scorching heat of the sun while swimming. Shower area and bath room are is quite dirty. Even the water in the shower is hot.
Not advisable for summer outing since you want to take a dip in cold water, but again, everything is hot.
- petersF7066CT (6/5): Room with private swimming pool - Room with private swimming pool. Prices have increased substantially since last visit.
Using the private pool is now not included in the room charge, but has to be paid separately with 350 pesos per hour, which is too expensive.
Food is now available.
- jeptall (2/5): Need to upgrade - Room:dark
In room wifi:no
Hot water: no
Tv:14inches CRT type TV
Cable: blurred/ limited channel
Mobile signal:low or no signal
Hallway:smelly
