• 482bryand (6/5): Overall disappointing, in an industrial area but walkable to the old town - Whilst the hotel is reasonably presented in a post industrial fit out, exposed conduit ( electrical tube for the US readers), probably to blend in to its immediate surroundings, which is definitely industrial. We opted for a larger room than initially allocated, it was too small for a 4 day stay with luggage. Unfortunately the “upgrade” cost an additional €60 per night! However, as we arrived after midnight we had little choice. It is located about 300m from the bridge which takes you over to the old side of Istanbul, so once you have navigated the electrical, mechanical, pumps and wheels shops you can stroll out or catch the frequent trams, ( after purchasing your pre paid card). Back to the hotel. No restaurant , no bar and no food. They do offer a “Deliveroo” style delivery service for a price! Our room had a semi transparent glass partition between the bedroom and the toilet/ shower. So be warned nothing is sacred! Room clean and lift worked but did not reach the top Floor! So overall ok, but I’m sure you can find better less expensive hotel.

• 22bjornl (10/5): - Great affordable hotel in a good location, a few km from Taksim Square. Located in a workshop area but it's it a problem, a few meters down to street there are restaurants, shops etc. Everything is fine with the hotel and the room. Any problem (in my case a small faulty fridge) immediately fixed. Staff super nice and helpful. I choose this hotel after a bad experience with a hotel nearby not long ago and will certainly return on my frequent Istanbul trips.

Ich habe vor der Anreise gute sowohl auch schlechte Bewertung gelesen aber im Gegenteil waren wir insgesamt positiv überrascht. Ich fange von außen Bereich an. Es ist in einer Gasse da braucht man nicht viel erwarten . Das Hotel sind ordentlich aus. Personal waren wir zufrieden sehr nett und die Reinigungskraft hat immer auf uns gehört es fehlte nichts alles war sauber . Für den Preis ist es eine ordentliche mit gutem Gewissen empfehlenswerte Hotel . Ich meine ordentlich , sauber , klimatisiert genügend definitiv . Klima war top hat funktioniert einizige kleine Sache entweder haben wir es nicht hin bekommen oder hatten Probleme mit dem Kühlschrank . Insgesamt 4 Personen 2 getrennte Zimmer war ausreichend und top ich muss wircklich sagen nochmals Sauber! Alles lag wircklich sehr nah . Ich muss aber sagen als Frau alleine würde ich da nicht gerne rum laufen mit Begleitung ist es im Ordnung . Ich bedanke mich an das ganze Team . Gerne nochmal ☺️

• Jennifer (7/5): Perfect location for 1st time in Istanbul, nice staff (minimal English), free water, hard pillows. - I liked that there were free bottles of water at reception and our room (junior suite) had a nice view of the city! The location was good, as it was very central for where we wanted to go! The staff was also very very nice, and tried to communicate with us, even though they didn't speak much English and we don't speak Turkish. The room was pretty expensive, and didn't really feel worth the price. Also a few little things -- the balcony doors were also really hard to open and close, the pillows were very thick and hard, the floor of the room was always very dirty, despite them cleaning our room every second day as requested. However, these were minor things!

• Olzhas (10/5): Comfortable hotel. Very close to Galata Tower and bridge. - I enjoyed my time in the Vavien hotel. Hotel staff: Vavien hotel staff was very helpful and customer oriented. Location: 2 minutes of walking to food shops, restaurants, sea and Ataturk bridge with metro train. Galata bridge, Galata Tower, Egyptian bazaar, famous Istiklal street and ferry boat stations are 5-10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel. Vavien hotel is located in the district where a lot of shops sell construction, bathroom and plumbing materials. So, don’t be shocked to see them during the day. It is very quiet around the hotel during night time. Room: My room was very comfortable and warm, considering cold weather outside. My room had clean and comfortable single bed, towels, TV, fridge, safe, electric kettle, cup with tea spoon, tiny table with chair, mirror and cloth hangers. Bedside table was comfortable to put drinks or food during watching movies. Bathroom with toilet and hot/cold shower and sink was divided by glass wall. Complimentary tea, sugar and water were provided on a daily basis. Room cleaning was offered every day. But I didn’t need daily cleaning. Wi-Fi worked very well in my room. Overall, I found Vavien hotel very comfortable for short and long stay. I would be happy to come back here again. I liked everything.

Personelin ilgi alakası ve sürekli güleç olması harika. Temizlik konusunda içim çok rahat, dostane bir uyarı çarşaflar temiz ama çıkmayan lekeler diye tabir edilen lekelerin olduğu çarşafları bir gözden geçirmenizi tavsiye ederim. Odalar gürültüsüz, sıcak Sigara kullanmadığım için kokusunu da sevmiyorum ve otelin içerisinde sigara kokusu hiç yok. Bir süredir her İstanbul seyahatimde bu oteli tercih ediyorum, böyle devam ederlerse tercih etmeye devam edicem. Tebrik ediyorum.

• Marion (10/5): Erste Reise nach Istanbul - Die Herren an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben ein Standard-Doppelzimmer gebucht. Beim Check-In wurde uns dann gesagt dass wir ein gratis Upgrade in eine Suite mit Balkon bekommen haben. Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitegasse etwas ab vom Schuss, aber in ca. 10-15min Fußweg ist man bei der Galata-Brücke und auch die U-Bahn ist nicht weit weg. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wenn wir Istanbul nochmal besuchen, werden wir sicher wieder im Vavien-Hotel ein Zimmer buchen.

• Verified traveler (6/5): I Wouldn't Not Sleep Here Again - The property is in a mix-use zone in the electrical industrial district behind Galata. Although the location is okay it lends itself to disappointment, there are derelict warehouses adjacent the hotel that were used for all-night raves so the noise & sound of BASS thumping all night. The following night there was no water in the hotel with no communication from staff even though they knew about this prior to the water supply being cut.

Ориентир - уличное кафе и можно сразу поворачивать. Найти удалось быстро. Без такси. На трамвае доехать до моста и пешком. Отель новый, соответствует описанию. Завтрака нет. В период моего проживания было тихо. Все в пешей доступности. До башни 5 минут ходьбы, если идти переулками. Один недостаток - хотели поселить в более дешёвый номер. Сообщил об этом - поменяли сразу. Ошибка или трюк. Не знаю. В номере есть все необходимое. И сейф. Цена номера адекватная.

I arrived at the hotel at 7 pm after a long day trip from buses to planes i was surprised thar my booking is cancelled because they weren’t able to reach my card! They rebooked the same room for the same price! After reaching my room and going to sleep i noticed that there is no electricity to charge my stuffs only lamps are working! They moved me at 1 am to another room a bigger but the king bed wasn’t comfortable because it’s 2 twins bed merged together it wasn’t a pleasant stay The stuff is helpful, the location is good the breakfast is moderate! But the hotel is clean and very trendy, staying in this property again should be discussed because i prefer the area next to taksim sqaure

• Rodrigo (8/5): Buen servicio - Buen servicio, el único problema es que el personal no habla inglés muy bien y comunicarte con ellos es un lío, la zona se ve fea, pero en realidad es muy tranquila y no hay ninguna complicación. Puedes llegar a todos lados en el tren entonces también es muy accesible y más barato. En general todo bien
• clive (8/5): Solo trip - Very nice hotel, wonderful people on reception. I didn’t mind walking to Karakoy and beyond, but some people could be put off by the location. It was fine, but after the shutters come down on neighbouring electrical stores then the street does not look welcoming. I would stay again however, I enjoyed the warm welcome

• Víctor (10/5): Descanso, Limpieza, Acogedor y Ubicación PERFECTA! - Hotel en Beyoglü en una zona sin ruido por la noche y por el día a pesar de la multitud de negocios de lámparas, el hotel gracias al aire acondicionado, puedes dormir sin ningún ruido. El personal de Hotel, son chicos jóvenes y muy agradables, nos dieron información de todo tipo, incluso de ir a ver al equipo de Besiktas :P Recomiendo el Hotel por cercanía a Sultanahmet hay metro y tranvía a 300m del hotel y es económico, el desayuno perfecto. Agradezco a todo el personal que fueron muy simpáticos!!
