• Kris (9/5): Leuke Riad met heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! - Heel vriendelijk personeel, afwisselend ontbijt, gemakkelijk te bereiken met taxi (dus je moet niet lang met je bagage door de binnenstad) en toch overal dichtbij. Goed bed en mooi dakterras.

A tetőteraszon kellemesen lehet reggelizni, lazulni, barátokkal összeülni. A szállás nagyon hangulatos, a madarak csicseregnek, biztonságos (zárt kapukkal, éjjel-nappali személyzettel). Mi biztosan visszatérünk, mert ha betartod a kultúrális minimumot (öltözködés, viselkedés) nagyon jól fogod magad érezni ebben a meglepően zöld, barátságos városban. A közösségi parkokat is érdemes meglátogatni, nem csak a fizetős kerteket.

El desayuno es maravilloso , tienen una terraza preciosa La cama hacía ruido cuando nos movíamos y la puerta de la habitación no se podía cerrar por fuera, genera un poco de inseguridad

• Claudio (6/5): Un Riad quasi all'abbandono - La struttura è a 10/15 minuti a piedi dalla piazza centrale e nel cuore del Suk. Posizione ottima per ogni spostamento. Il letto era comodo. Il personale molto disponibile voto 11! Struttura davvero datata, le foto sono credo di 5 anni fa almeno. Purtroppo per loro perché la struttura merita di più. Faccio un test al proprietario dicendo che nelle foto scattate era uscito bene (era più giovane e con la compagna ) ma lui nemmeno sa di questa foto. Ciò significa che non ha interesse al sito che pubblicizza del suo Riad. Deludente... Terrazzo senza alcuna vista, solo palazzi accanto. Colazione minimo indispensabile con termos di caffè ed uno di latte, 2 cornetti, 2 formaggini, 2 crepes o 2 panini, un po di burro sbriciolato nella terrina contenitore ed una brocca da 1/5 lt di succo d'arancia non filtrato. Le sedie in corda quasi tutte distrutte, e un tendone che copre a modi coperta una serie di divanetti e tavoloni nel terrazzo che sembra una tenda del deserto. Tovaglie, dove le trovi usurate e credo non lavate molto su tavoli in legno bassi scomodi. Divani con coperture bianche e cuscini idem, credo quasi mai rimpiazzati. Nella mia camera la doccia era avvitata male e spruzzava da tutte le parti, per fortuna sistemata dal Mohamed ( il tutto fare che meriterebbe UNA STATUA per la disponibilità ad ogni ora ). Due letti uniti in mezzo alla camera, luce poco illuminante, bagno con doccia totalmente in penombra, doccia in pietra con lavandino, mobiletto in bambù rotto. Tendaggio del 1950 credo. Mai lavato in cotone pesante come il copriletto. Una vasca, simile ad una gebbia delle fattorie, che dovrebbe essere valorizzata, ma invece abbandonata con acqua stantiva. Se ci tornerei? NO! C'è di meglio allo stesso prezzo. Purtroppo non sempre ciò che si vede nelle foto e si legge nelle recensioni altrui è realtà...

The staff were phenomenal, especially Khaolua, Mohamed, Fatima, & Buchka (apologies if I have mis-spelt names)…they looked after us so well and were incredible hosts. Nothing. • Julie (10/5): The best of morrocan hospitality - Excellent experience staying here. Collected from airport and had a beautiful 3 course meal at Riad when we arrived. Muhammad was so kind and helpful to us. Nothing was too much trouble. He answered any questions we had about navigating Marrakesh and even ordered a pizza for us one evening when it was heavy rain. Room was clean and cleaned properly with fresh towels daily. Breakfast served to us on roof terrace if sunny or at table inside. Lovely simple continental style breakfast with fresh orange juice and bread. Khaoula was also very efficient, kind and helpful to us. Together with Muhammad they were so welcoming. Maybe some fresh fruit and cheese for breakfast

We hebben ook fijn kunnen zitten op het dakterras. Om binnen te komen, klop je aan en maakt iemand de deur open, dat maakt het ook erg persoonlijk!

Arrivando prima del portone di ingresso tuttavia l'impressione non è la stessa per la presenza di una area di una vecchia casa in rudere trasformata in un po di discarica. All' interno cambia tutto, io mi sono trovato molto a mio agio. Consiglio.

• girolamo (1/5): - niente Considerato il prezzo pagato, ci aspettavamo molto di più. In camera non c’era un buon odore, l’acqua della doccia arrivava dappertutto in quanto non esisteva il box doccia, la pulizia della camera era inesistente, la colazione era sempre la stessa e di qualità non eccellente e veniva servita in un terrazzo all’aperto e al freddo, la stanza era molto piccola e priva di mobili dove riporre i vestiti, l’ingresso dell’albergo presentava un gradino molto alto e si faceva fatica a entrare, le scale erano molto ripide e prive di corrimano, di fronte all’albergo c’era un deposito di rifiuti, la zona era molto degradata, la via era molto stretta e i taxi non potevano transitare, quindi si dovevano fermare a circa duecento metri dall’ingresso dell’albergo. Struttura che necessita di una profonda ristrutturazione. Durante la nostra permanenza a Marrakech, abbiamo visto strutture in zone molto più accoglienti e di livello superiore, e soprattutto a prezzi notevolmente inferiori. Hotel da evitare, a cui attribuiamo un voto di 1 su una scala da 1 a 10.

• Loret (9/5): Perfect stay. Definitely recommend. - The hosts were very friendly. They assisted us with everything. We had an emergency going to the Clinique and Mohamed was very attentive. He called for us a taxi and arranged our way back, waited for us ti check whether everything went well. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay.

Mohamed è stato disponibile e gentilissimo. Forse non il riad più caratteristico che si può trovare a Marrakech.
• Ivan (10/5): If you want the best Moroccan comfort - When we were looking for a place to stay in Marrakech, everyone kept recommending that we choose a riad. We weren’t quite sure what it was or whether we would like it, but we wanted to experience the full atmosphere of Morocco. Luckily for us, we stayed at Dar Touyir. The place was so cozy and beautiful that we honestly didn’t want to leave on our last day. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, and the view from the rooftop terrace made our morning coffee and breakfast even more enjoyable. As for the host, I can only say good things. They responded to every need and request we had (like helping us print our boarding passes) and made our stay truly exceptional. I highly recommend it, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we return to Marrakech and stay at this exact place again! Nothing to complain. It was perffect.

La colazione, preparata sul momento è ricca e varia ogni giorno. La stanza era pulita e la zona comoda a tutto.

A big thank you to Mohamed from restaurant recommendations, to managing airport transportation for us, he has been an excellent host.
• Jérôme (8/5): Séjour agréable, malgré un temps assez maussade, un personnel très accueillant - La sympathie du personnel et leur attachement a bien faire un très bon accueil et un vrai sens de l’hospitalité. Le toit terrasse est également très agréable et l’endroit est très joli. Il n’y a pas de véritable isolation phonique du coup les bruits s’entendent beaucoup. Le débit de la douche est assez faible par ailleurs.

An open landfill just around the corner downgraded the whole. The stench of the sewerage, both outside the facility and in the room, was quite disturbing.

• Danica (10/5): Very calming.... I truly enjoyed. - The riad is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, it can't accommodate many guests which makes it intimate, the atmosphere is calming, it's easy to get to, the breakfast is not too abundant but it's good. In front of the riad is a demolished building with garbage containers, which doesn't look very nice, but since we didn't stay there for long, it didn't bother us much.

Lo más destacable para nosotros ha sido el trato de Mohamed, Khaoula, muy amable y cercano, con sus exelentes recomendaciones. No dejamos de lado los fantásticos desayunos de la cocinera. • graham (5/5): We know Marrakech. We were expecting something better. - We have visited Marrakech many times. The location and staff are excellent. However there are issues that need addressing This Riad does not match the photos shown. It is time for some upgrades a strong manager and investement to bring it up to its full potential. Cleanliness, smell from the drains, general maintenane is noticeably not up to standard. The garbage site outside the main door has been there for 5 years at least. Why cant the local Riads get together and clean it up ? There are many Riads of a much highter standard for the same price. With a little effort so much could be better.

Pequeno almoço ótimo, no rooftop encantador na companhia dos passarinhos que dão o nome à Riad. A canalização da casa de banho tem algum odor, o que infelizmente é comum em Marraquexe.

Ci hanno accolti con una colazione al nostro arrivo, e ci hanno preparato anche la colazione alla nostra ripartenza, nonostante fosse alla mattina molto presto. Possibilità di organizzare transfer per e dall’aereoporto. Personale cortese e sempre disponibile. Consiglio vivamente per un’esperienza a contatto con il vero Marocco e con la gentilezza delle persone del posto :)

• Brett (10/5): Excellent Riad, lovely team, great location with a relaxing rooftop. - All of the team working at Dar Touyir were extremely helpful, they helped with getting us from and to the airport without any hassle. The location was nice and quiet with easy walking distance to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was a perfect amount to set us up for the day with the ladies who prepared it adding new things to eat each day. The host Amir was really helpful and kind, helping us to and from our taxi. The receptionist even printed our boarding pass which was super helpful. All in all I would highly recommend staying at Dar Touyir.

Traditional, quiet, cozy rooms, nice terrace, situated in a good location. Wonderful place to stay in Marrakech. Breakfast can be improved. Not so diverse. Mostly sugary pastries.
• Sharon (10/5): A fantastic, peaceful place. - We have just returned from our 4 night stay at Riad Dar Touyir and had an amazing time. The staff were wonderful and welcomed us with mint tea and highlighted places on the map we might like to visit and also printed our boarding passes on departure. We arranged airport pick up and drop off for €15 each way which was worth it. The breakfasts on the sunny roof terrace were delicious with different breads and jams served each day along with coffee, juice and tea. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the bed was very firm, but I believe this is typical of Morocco. It was quiet and peaceful with only the call to prayer from the mosque and then the birds tapping on your window to disturb your sleep The riad is in a lovely, little area with shops, market and restaurants nearby and a 10 minute walk to the Medina and Koutoubia Mosque. (Call in to see Imad, in his blue gown for a green tea in his herbal shop.) Some people may find it a little unnerving at first to discover it's down an alleyway, but it was fine, and everyone we saw, even late at night were pleasant and respectful. Even a group of young men who were sat outside one evening, greeted us and knocked on the door and were just sitting playing Ludo on their phones! 😅 There are more luxurious riads, but the price was great here and we wanted a more authentic, vintage feel, which Riad Touyir has. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

• Kelsie (9/5): Incredible evening meal food option! MUST DO! - The staff were extremely helpful - organised taxis, checked over our trips etc… The location was perfect for us. Not too close to the chaos of the main square but a good 15 min walk away so it wasn’t too far to walk to and from the centre if needed. Great layout of the Riad with a rooftop terrace. You MUST have their evening meal. 3 courses and the best food we ate whilst in Marrakesh for a week!! We had problems with our safe. We kept our passports safe in there for the week but we struggled to open it so we had to get the staff to help us late at night. Personally better pillows - there was 1 super big pillow and 1 normal bed pillow. Wasn’t always very comfortable.

Excellent breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace and an ideal location for walking distance to all the major tourist spots. The staff were always helpful, with knowledge, information and booking us into places as well as just generally being lovely people to talk to. 10/10 would go back. Lighting perhaps a little dark in the bathroom for applying make-up but a very minor inconvenience.

Smelt like pee or something. Not sure they can do anything about it but it made us feel like the place was dirty. I think it was coming from the bathroom pipes but im not sure. They also had no key to each bedroom so anyone can walk in and no good airflow in the bedroom. Thankfully they provide a fan.
