• romeosdf (6/5): okay for a couple of days - Friendly staff, close to tram station and marina, good view of the city from the high floors. upon arriving the room was not cleaned as it should be, hotel is under renovation, open partially. Towels & bed linens are clean, rooms are okay ish clean not sure if it's local standards, but i couldnt find anything i can eat on the breakfast buffet, except some tiny croissants (not always fresh). I am not into cooked beans and stews in the morning.
• Cindy (8/5): - At first we were dropped off by our Taxi to the wrong place, the other Mogador hotel in front of the Marina hotel. That was confusing to us. But once at the correct hotel we enjoyed our brief stay.
• J0lly_J0hn (4/5): Good looking but not so good under the surface. - We are currently staying in room 10001. We arrived in a large group of 50. It took 23 minutes from getting the card key to getting to our room as the hotel has 18 floors, but just two working lifts. Our luggage was sent up separately. Our room was not ready when we got to it. Hand towels and toilet rolls had not been provided and to make matters worse, a curtain was missing. We found the wiring to the hair drier to be old and it had cracked leaving some of the outer protection uncovered. We also found hair in the bathroom. It took a couple of calls to get the curtain fixed and the missing bathroom items sorted. It’s now just gone midnight and I am awake due to the air conditioning not working. I got up and had a look at the air filter as it was clearly on, but no air was coming through. The air intake was completely blocked with dust and it was so solid, that clearing it was out of the question. There has been no basic maintenance carried out, probably since it was installed. Both this and the suspect hair drier cable makes me think this is an accident waiting to happen and 18 floors up is not good place to be, On the positive side, the hotel looks good and is in a reasonable location. The food was excellent.
• natasapk2020 (4/5): Great disappointment - We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The location sounded attractive (marina) but it is misleading. It is near the sea but close to the ship yard or something similar, not too far from the city centre but the walk is through big industrial looking streets . Our room was spacious and we liked it at first. Unfortunately, the service was non- existent. First day, our room had no hot water, which we discovered after we got into the shower. On the second day, it was “cleaned” but the floors stayed filthy, the washroom counter was still pink and sticky from the accidental spill of my cough syrup the day before . The third day we found the room without any towels at all. It took us 4 calls and/or visits to the reception and over two hours to get the towels. Even the number to call the reception was obscure (2036, lol !!!) and not written anywhere so we had to physically go down to ask. None of the lamps were functional and of all the plugs, only two worked. Great disappointment!
• vahehg (6/5): Average hotel - Rooms and bathrooms are large, staff are friendly and accommodating , bed sheets, towels and such are clean , however number of things need better maintenance for example if you do not want the floor to get flooded when taking a shower and room floors need better cleaning. Breakfast is OK but again not much attention to details for example empty bread baskets that do not get replenished for some time. Its not an expensive hotel and the reason we stayed there is we were joining a tour.
• anniemH3667PA (2/5): Terrible - Mogador Marina The only reason we stayed at this hotel was because of the tour we were on. How this is rated as a 4 star hotel is beyond me. It’s the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Carpet throughout the hotel does not look clean. Lobby bathrooms are dirty and had no toilet paper. Although our room on the 18th floor was large, the air con continuously leaked. We advised reception several times and nothing was done. There was mould on our room ceiling and in the bathroom shower. One morning the food at breakfast had run out and it was only 8am. This hotel is in need of a massive renovation. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
• vicpunch (4/5): One disaster to another - We were diverted to this hotel by Moroccan Airlines after they messed up our flight connection. The hotel looked nice and the room looked clean and was a good size. Then we found the water dribbled out of the taps and we could not wash or shower. We decided to go down for dinner. What an utter disaster. It was a buffet. The food was of really poor quality, was cold and three out if 6 trays only had dregs in them. Tables were not cleared so there was nowhere to sit. We had to clear a table and set it ourselves. Our voucher from the airline said we were to have full board. We asked for water and we’re told it was extra. We argued the point but got nowhere. We ate out at Rick,s bar the second night and had a fantastic evening. I have no idea how this hotel got its star rating and would not recommend it to anyone. I suspect they depend on the airport for their business as must of the people we saw there were from the airport. Avoid if possible.

• edenmiller (6/5): Late night kid’s soccer outside your bedroom - This is a pleasant enough hotel, with room 802 being very large. The bathroom is a bit dated, and the tub a menace to get on and out of, and prone to flooding, but this review is more of a warning: Don’t book the 02 line because there is a public square area below it, and the neighborhood teenagers play soccer late at night, shouting the whole time. Actually this happened during the day as well. Others have mentioned the pluses and minuses of this hotel accurately, but this annoying noise issue had not been mentioned.

• jaafraouid (2/5): Flight cancelation - There is no Kittle in the room , When I ask about this they told me ,we will bring now . I waited more then 2 hours no one bring it. Then I visit the reception for some issue ,some answers and I didn’t get it. Also more issue with Lift (I never saw befor) Bad staff no respect to the customers . The sharing our problems with every body there. Really I stayed 2 bad days there. No enough options at restaurant .
• flavia (8/5): - It’s a lovely hotel; lobby is cute and clean. Hotel rooms are nice and spacious and bathrooms are big. Amenities for the room are great. Bed and pillows were a little too soft but comfortable. Staff didn’t come to the room twice when they said they would send someone to retrieve the bags from the car and to bring the luggage cart. Biggest con is the price of breakfast 200Dhm for a small selection of food items at their breakfast Buffett.

Relatively old Hotel, towels & bed linens are clean, rooms are okay ish clean, on the top floor there's always a bad smell in the hall probably from the ventilation system. not sure if it's local standards, but i couldnt find anything i can eat on the breakfast buffet, except some tiny croissants (not always fresh). I am not into cooked beans and stews in the morning. i am not a Moroccan tea person, you cant get coffee easily, most of time coffee machine is either broken or not there or out of water, you need to look for a waiter to get you coffee and that is difficult to find when too many people are having breakfast...
• G4816ODbarbarat (6/5): OK for one night - A huge, rather impersonal hotel, though staff were helpful. Room was quite nice, though the bath drain was almost blocked and the head board was worn and tatty. Food was fine, all buffet style, but nothing special.

• medaamir (2/5): Terrible experience - The worst experience I'ever had in a 4 star hotel _ Very bad service since the check-in "unprofessional " _ always late to arrange the room _ elevator stucks some times _ the door of the room was blocked tow times the scond time I was Wating in the lobby for 1 hour and half to fix it, with my son crying, when they finally opend the door and we got in and closed the door and the technicien left, I wanted to put "don't disturbe" sign at the door and I got chocked because it's locked again I called the reception almost 20 times wthout any answer and I called all the services and no one answerd I'm still stuck in the room with my wife and son while I'm writng this review Very disappointing choice. If I got out safe I would Never ever come back here and I recommand you too to make a better choice. Hope this was helping
• KagiGeneral (6/5): So this is Casablanca - So this is Casablanca. Room had a big window, looking out to sunset in the West. Liked that! Expected so much more from hotel. Location not great, not alongside the marina. Cold (hot) meals in restaurant.
• Mario_MZG (2/5): Don't !!! - The room is ok, but was missing essential items like toilet paper and 2 glasses. The restaurant is unbelievable. A 17 storey hotel with a restaurant sitting no more than 80-100 people. Noisy, chaotic, everything missing, from table cleaning to service to food. A restaurant with food always depleted. Too bad. Don't make the mistake of going there, a cantina is way much better than this joint.

• theresam527 (2/5): Would not recommend old and needs some update - Part of a tour group. The good is the people…the bell staff and housekeeping staff so nice and try to be helpful. Stayed 3 nights. Today I needed toilet tissue and never came. I called every number in the phone and no answer. Bed headboard is peeling and hairdryer falling apart. the floor in the room so dirty the bottoms of my feet filthy. Often key would not work and up and down the elevator we go.
• Mohamed (2/5): - I booked a room at the hotel for my fiancé, it was non refundable, she was denied access at the reception because of a “ law in Morocco that states that a single woman living in the same city is not allowed to stay in a hotel”. I was told at the reception that they will issue a refund however it never happened. The hotel team ignored multiple emails I sent them, they ignored phone calls by Expedia team . They should be announcing that clearly in the ads and not just rip people off their money😡😡

• Eldin (6/5): - It was not a bad hotel the stay was good but they need to train their staff better they are sometimes rude and are unresponsive we asked for some towels and they said they would bring it up but they never came and we had to wait until the next day for housekeeping to bring some. The bathroom door won't close properly either. The electricy in the room requires the key to be in the wall in order to work. Our hotel key stopped working after the first day and I had to go back and get other one. Overall meh...okay experience I guess room was clean and housekeeping was good. Front staff need to be nicer and more responsive.

Kwahla, Manal, Ahmed and Mustafa were the best, they helped with information, with exchanging money, they were so friendly, that alone would have been worth it! Its not too far from the city, and the room was very big woth a fridge and a nice bathroom. Although there was no pool, there was a nice exercise room (gym). Casablanca is a busy city, the peaceful experience at Grand Mogador Marina was a great balancer!

Beware that the front desk staff will not call you a taxi for the airport unless you use their "hotel taxi" which is 500 dirhams (about $53) versus the regular airport taxis which are 300 dirhams ($32). After asking for a taxi, they recommended the hotel taxi, which we declined and just asked them to call a regular taxi. After half an hour we asked about the taxi and they said they could call a hotel taxi which would take about 15 minutes to arrive. Since we were running late for the airport we just flagged down a taxi on the street in one minute and paid the regular price. It isn't the price but the principle. I don't like to be scammed just because I'm a tourist. Overall, the experience in Morocco was great. The attitude of the hotel staff at the Mogador Marina needs to be changed, I hope the management addresses this.

The hotel concierges asked $500 MAD for a ride to the Casablanca airport which the taxi charge only $300 MAD the most. The room does not have coffee pot. The location is far from the city center, not like Noveltel or Softtel, even though this hotel charged higher fee. BAD service, cheating us the taxi fee, inconvenient location.

• John (4/5): - Nobody from reception, room service, house keeping or guest service answered the phone calls from room. I had to go down to reception twice making request after trying over 10 phone calls ad waited for over 1.5 hour with a minor request. Reception staff showed poor attitude and denied they did not receive pone call, that I had to ask one of them to try making phone calls to hotel services at my room to prove the situation.

The location is a little inconvenient to get to many of the tourist sites. But it's safe, has good parking and you have access to the luxury sister hotel Mogador next door.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Worse customer service ever!! - This hotel is the worse hotel I’ve ever been to that has the worse service!! When I got out of the taxi, no one came to grab my bags. No one helped me with my bags. The hotel clerk did not offer to help with my bags and told me the taxi cost from the airport is 500 d!! What a liar!!! The location is NOT GOOD!! The room was clean and nice but the service sucked sucked sucked!!! I would never stay here ever again and do not recommend at all!! The hotel front desk did not have any change for bigger bills nor can they exchange currency. All the people that worked there were too busy chatting and socializing. The whole staff sucked! I would just stand at the front desk and the person that is free behind the desk won’t even offer to help.

• Samantha (6/5): - This is a nice hotel, though it is not close to anything. They also don't have any shuttle service to / from the airport as it had said on the description. In order to get a cab anywhere they told us to walk to the end of the street and hail a cab. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was also great, but my only complaint was that it smelled like cigarettes, so we had to sleep with the window left open.
• Verified traveler (6/5): yellow water but can - Bathroom water and water from the sink was yellow terrible.. lock in the door is not working (the staff repiled me as there will have no one enter my room so lock is not needed) however when you stay in Morocco for longer you will find the hotel is high quality compare with other hotels in Morocco
• MARIA C (8/5): 5-star comfort with 4-star prices - We moved from 5-star Movenpick as Ramadan prices were kicking in, and what a pleasant surprise. Hotel is on same block as 5-star Grand Mogador, and features toiletries, bedding, etc. from the Grand Mogador. Guests can also use their 5-star fitness centre. As we had a long stay, we were given one of the most spacious rooms on the upper floors (1602 and 1603) so the rooms were full on sunlight. Rooms were modern, windows could be opened to let fresh air in, and the memory foam mattress was memorable. Wifi was good, and the old Medina Great was within a short pleasant walk along one of the most architectonically interesting avenues of Casa (Mohammed V).

• Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy. Big room. - Amazing massive room. Lots of space for luggage and a big bathroom. The bed was very comfy. Internet was just ok. The house keeping was great. The taxis in front of the hotel have some kind of a deal with hotel and end up charging more than usual. Better to walk for 2 mins to a main road and get a cab from there. The views nothing special. The area is up and coming. Lots of new buildings being constructed. But inside you couldn’t hear anything. Breakfast was OK-ish even though previous review rate it highly, I’m Not sure why??? I would stay here again but not pay for the breakfast and would go to a cafe near by. The reception kept forgetting to tell the concierge to call us back as we needed some Info. Everytime we asked for basic details about the area etc, we were told to speak to concierge which I get to an extent but then I don’t get how they forget to inform the concierge. No big deal but was rather annoying. I would stay here again though because Of the room. And that’s why you’re there I guess. They need a pool and spa for sure.

• Niklas (8/5): Class for the price - Great hotel with beautiful rooms and lobbys. Service on point, but the area it's located is a bit sketchy. Buildings around it have seen the best of their days and the street had a beautiful trash tornado when we arrived. Other than that, great place to stay couple nights. Walking distance from the train station if your not traveling too heavy. My phone coudnt keep the WiFi longer than 5min maybe.
• Verified traveler (6/5): In the middle of nowhere and over priced - There is nothing to eat or of interest in this area. The staff said it was unsafe to walk around. The room was big and modern but was the dirtiest room I have stayed in and I've started in a lot. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
• Muayad (6/5): - Room service and fornt desk staff service has to be improved. Some items have to be available not found in the room and when they are requested, they were not in good condition! When check out there was only one staff working while alot of customers are waiting!!
• Brian (8/5): Comfortable, modern hotel BUT expensive breakfast! - Overall, the hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was the breakfast. For a buffet breakfast, which was very good, they charged 180 dirhams! I can't remember ever paying that much for a breakfast! However, I would still recommend this hotel.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Goods and bads... - Nice, clean and modern hotel in Casablanca. Convenient to get from Casa Voyageur train station which connects you to Fes and other major cities in Morocco. Not many restaurants around so you may have to take taxi to find something to eat. Staff at the front desk is nice but lack of service when calling from room. One star deducted because when we checked out there was nobody at the front desk which made us panicked as we had to catch the train to airport for our flight to Paris. Finally waited for some 20mins for somebody to show up to help us settle the deposit and city tax and everything.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value for money but somehow website would not allow me to book for 3 adults and had to settle for two rooms instead of one but room is big enough for 3 adults? Newer hotel and quite pleasant stay though not the most convenient location to walk but near train station 5 minutes by taxi
• Verified traveler (6/5): Ideal for business trip,not leisure - i stayed with my friend at the Mogador Marina for two nights, easy to find if you are driving from airport or marrakech , they have free private parking which is a big help in casablanca . We had a quick check in and concierge took our luggage into the room . The room was probably just been cleaned , the floor was still wet ( very large rooms with fully working AC ) . Staff wasn't very helpful though, I don't think they deal with many tourists tho, they didn't really know how to direct us and when we asked for advises regarding a good hammam the reception told us that he would have asked the concierge to leave the names for us for the next morning ...but the next day no one knew about our request. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay , housekeeping came the second day in the evening asking if we wanted our room to be cleaned but we were getting ready to out and plus leaving the next day so it didn't really matter. Also I needed a brush or a combo which wasn't included in the bathroom toiletries and I have called the number written next to phone for housekeeping but the call went to the Grand Mogador ( next door ) and the lady wasn't very happy to take my call....I never received a brush by the way! It is a very clean and nice hotel, but staff need to be more committed.

• Saad (2/5): Stay away - Terrible experience. Roof was leaking near the closet. No one seemed to care. Washroom was dirty. Look at the dirt in the picture attached in the bathtub on our arrival. - complained to reception. They sent a staff up to the room and he wiped it with our bathroom towels. No cleaning products were used. - did not offer to switch rooms - hotel manager was never available - they pretended to care by taking our email and having a manager reach out to us. never heard anything - did not offer anything as a way to make up for the issue. When you are on vacation all you can ask for is a clean room no matter how much you pay and if its not clean you expect someone to do something about it.
• Mo Zee (8/5): Great staff - Check in took almost a hour, Breakfast was a nice big spread but nothing tasted good. The staff made every attempt to cater to our needs but getting us a iron to our room was not one of them . Location was a bit rugged i dont know if id venture on foot. Overall the room was really nice modern and clean. For the price i think it was very fair and i felt safe in the hotel itself.
• surgery (10/5): Clean and friendly staff - Stayed with my family at this hotel in Casablanca . Our room was Clean large and quite. The front desk staff and Resturant staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. When we arrive there was no tea facility in the room but once we contacted the reception the kettle and tea bags were delivered in less than 10 min. The city centre is about 10 min drive away. I would recommend this hotel for families. One of the missing facility, there is no swimming pool.

• Bovas (8/5): Good Hotel - This was a good hotel with wifi and breakfast. service was good and Breakfast was good. The location was not great. there is not much activity around it, especially other restaurants etc.
• Verified traveler (4/5): average needs improvement - i asked for adapter for my laptop so that i could charge and my other devices also but they simply refuse and instead asked me to go outside and purchase. I had asked for tea maker they do not provide unless you ask. There were no slippers in the room the toilet was always wet with some sticky solution on floor. There is no bar in the hotel so be known about it. I believe it is slightly overpriced

• Sergio (10/5): - Incredible place. I guess the price was so good since it is a bit far from the main areas, although in taxi is close, traffic from there to centre is not good. The price will rise double when the area is renovated, which will happen in just few years. Lovely breakfast
