Quiet street with shops and places to eat nearby, including pharmacy around the corner and metro station near. Big balcony. First of all, the photos didn't correspond to the actual state of the apartment. Do not recommend to families with small kids as all the rooms were on different floors. The place greeted us with strong smell of mildew and mold. There is no living room on seating area, only around kitchen table (not comfy nor cosy). 1. No dishwasher (Apartment pictures has it but in the description it is not included, general advertisement show dishwasher so what to believe?) 2. First floor WC Light is out (not working) 3. First floor WC door not working (can’t slide to close) 4. Second floor WC seat is smaller than the pot (so kids can’t sit normally and do the thing) 5. Second floor WC shower cabin do not have doors (so water is all over the place:)) 6. Toaster work halfway - need to hold slider down as it does not lock 7. Second floor door seems to be off the tracks (it is sliding one) 8. Balcony do not have table (pictures show something there) 9. Kitchen TV - not working 10. Do not find floor brush/broom/mop 11. Most of the windows do not close fully or have some issues to operate - noise comes in

Prior to arrival we were bothered with so many questions and requirements for documents etc. The instructions were not clear about how to get the key. The host was hard to reach and communicate with. The apartment was the wrong one and not the one we've booked. The host did not take responsibility for the wrong apartment. We got very annoyed and decided not to stay. At least we got a free refund.

- Sandrine (1/5): CAFARDS et SALETE - L'emplacement A fuir. Nous avons été accueilli par les cafards (voir la photo). Tout est sale, cassé et complètement dépareillé. Les lits sont tachés et il y a des couvertures d'un autre siècle. Les draps sont troués et les serviettes eponge .... Les lits étaient faits mais avec une mauvaise impression que les draps n'ont pas été changés. Les clés sont un système de clé numérique qui se décharge régulièrement et qui n'a aucune souplesse de gestion. La société est soit disant joignable 7/7 j et 24/24 j. En fait il nous a été possible de les joindre au bout de 10 appels. Nous sommes arrivés un jour de pluie. Il faisait très froid et humide. Cet appartement n'a pas de chauffage, juste un portatif. Au bout de 24:00 nous en avons eu un supplentaire en allant au numéro 14 où se trouve la comptable de la société. Et là encore la société a été d'une totale inefficacité. Il y a une chambre sans fenetre Point positif: emplacement Rien d'autre. Sincèrement allez ailleurs. Cela ne peut pas être pire.

- Elisabeth (1/5): Fazit: Sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, keine erbrachte Leistung trotz voller Zahlung, und ein äußerst unkooperatives Verha - Vorsicht bei diesem Vermieter – Umgang mit Gästen äußerst unflexibel Ich habe das Appartement „Lisboa-Fado“ gebucht und musste leider feststellen, dass der Vermieter sehr unflexibel und wenig serviceorientiert agiert. Am Tag des Check-ins kam es bei mir zu einer verspäteten Rückmeldung, die jedoch taggleich erfolgte. Ich teilte dem Vermieter mit, dass mein mitreisender Kollege – bereits vor Ort – die Unterkunft gegen 19:30 Uhr übernehmen würde. Obwohl in den erweiterten Bedingungen klar angegeben war, dass ein Check-in bis 20:00 Uhr möglich ist (und danach sogar gegen Aufpreis), erklärte der Vermieter kurzfristig, er sei „nicht mehr verfügbar“ und stufte meinen Aufenthalt als „Nichtanreise“ ein. Die Buchung wurde vollständig storniert, ohne dass die Unterkunft je bereitgestellt wurde, und der gesamte Betrag von über 900 € wurde einbehalten. Ein alternatives Vorgehen oder eine Lösung wurde trotz angebotener Optionen meinerseits nicht in Betracht gezogen. Dieser Umgang entspricht aus meiner Sicht weder professionellen Gastgeberstandards noch den Erwartungen an eine flexible Buchung, wie sie auf Booking.com beworben wird. Auch die Unterstützung durch Booking.com verlief schleppend; bis heute wurde der Fall nicht zufriedenstellend geklärt.

- Gavin S (8/5): A great location convenient to central Lisbon on a quiet residential street. - The location was excellent. It was close to an underground station. It was close to an Aldi where we could buy breakfast items for the flat and water. We found Aldi on Google maps. It was a quiet street and the Church near by were responsible neighbour's. It is ideal for a party of friends staying in three bedrooms. We originally thought from the website we were staying in a different flat nearby. It had a green tiled front this did not. The location was on a different street. This caused some confusion on the first day as we mistakenly went to the wrong address. It was not a great problem but no explanation for the fact of this difference created the confusion and twenty minutes extra walking for us with luggage. There was no bottled water in the unit and I believed this was necessary for drinking water. Hence we found Aldi for a drink. A bottle of water in the fridge would have been appreciated. There was no local information for our immediate area. Say a note with a small map showing Aldi and local cafés and public transport.

- Rino (9/5): Pretty Coloured apartment with lots of light on Roof Top - Great Terrace, Good facilities for everything needed in an apartment (although there were no forks left?). Water pressure was very good. Nicely located. The stairs were quite narrow and the entrance is small, bit of a struggle with large luggage. The climb up 4 flights of stairs could be difficult for some.

Well equipped kitchen. Spacious with small outdoor space. Not told about €300 deposit and means of entry until day before travelling. Details of app to download for electronic key not communicated until we had arrived in Lisbon. This could be a problem if phone battery low and would prevent entry. No response from host when we asked for checkout to be delayed for an hour to 11 am.

- Juan Carlos (3/5): Decepción - Nada, lo único que se salva el sitio Nos hemos sentido engañados porque lo que vimos en booking no corresponde a lo que nos dieron, el de feeling lisbon saudade que es donde nos alojaron deja mucho que desear en todos los sentidos, nos ha defraudado mucho y si quieren verlo he colgado las fotos y un comentario bastante detallado de todo en el Google maps, me voy con la sensacion de que he pagado mucho más de lo que vale. No entiendo como pueden llevar 10 años trabajando en booking y no hayan tenido quejas al respecto porque creo que si te venden el feeling lisbon fado y esta ocupado lo suyo es que te lo digan y no que por el artículo 33 te realojen en otro en condiciones que dejan bastante que desear. Lo dicho miren las fotos y el comentario en Google maps "feeling lisbon saudade" MUY DECEPCIONADO

- Uliana (7/5): Spacious apartment in a perfect location with great views — but some outdated appliances could use a refresh. - The location was perfect — very central, with easy access to shops, cafes, and public transport. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking a peaceful courtyard with trees and flowers. The apartment itself was spacious, which was great for our family. It was also well-equipped for staying with kids, and the host was always responsive and available when needed. The TV was quite basic and didn’t support Netflix or YouTube, only regular channels. Some of the appliances, like the washing machine and dishwasher, were old and didn’t always work properly. Also, there was a noticeable smell coming from the cupboards when opened. Bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo) were provided in thick gel dispensers, which felt a bit unpleasant.

Many restaurants nearby and 5 minutes walk to the Botanic Gardens Only a 20 minute walk to the centre of Lisbon Good communications with the owner. 4 minute walk to the metro station (and 40 minutes to the airport with 1 change) and local busses

- Mher (4/5): I would not stay at this accommodation again and would not recommend it. - Good location in the city, close to cafes and not far from the train station. I had a lot of issues with communicating from the host from the beginning. It started with finding out the address of the apartment is different to what is stated on Booking.com. To enter the apartment (after 19:00) I had to download an app which I wasn't aware of during booking, and quite late. Had I not have enough battery, data to download the app or been a person not accustomed to tech use or had accessibility barriers using the app, I could not have entered the apartment, not to mention having to share personal data with an unknown app is not great in terms of privacy. There were cockroaches in the apartment, including a huge one climbing onto the bedroom wall at night. My request to change the apartment was rejected. Instead the host suggested to spray poison in the apartment. That evening I saw another cockroach strolling around the kitchen, on cutlery and inside the toaster. I had to send a copy of my ID and deposit transfer confirmations via WhatsApp and email to the host, even though they noted that it's possible to do this via Booking.com (which I would prefer due to security reasons but which was not possible). Finally, I had to chase them to get the 300EUR deposit back after the 7 day limit within which they would have to return it even though I had contacted them a few days in advance to check if I can expect it on time and the host told me "of course." I would say all the issues came down to lack of care and communication by the host, which is a real pity because the apartment itself was quite nice and in a very good location in the city. If the host starts approaching it as a place where guests feel welcome and comfortable rather than a money-milking machine, things could considerably improve.
- Cleworth (8/5): Very good - Great location very close to a square with lots of places to eat. Get there early to get a table as the square gets busy. Lock on the door to get in isn't that easy to operate via an app on the smart phone.
- Laura (7/5): beware - location was brilliant I didn't like the fact that I was asked for an additional 300 safety deposit and as I cleaned this place up after me the safety deposit was kept even after multiple attempts to contact the company
- Ngai (5/5): Passable - The interior design is great. All home appliances are in the apartment except washing machine. The door of the bathroom can not close properly. The upper floor was very nosy every midnight when we stayed. We found 2 dead cockroaches in the living room when we arrived.
- Dejan (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were okay. Not that expencieve. Wasn't that clean, some doors were damaged and coundn't close, there wasn't table on the terace. Photes were not exactly same as the the apartments.
- Stine (10/5): Everything was fine. Nice area, we could walk to everything - Beliggenheden var perfekt. Man kunne gå til bymidten. Meget fint kvarter Alt var fint
- Francesco (1/5): Almost a scamming - The position of the Apartment is very nice, close to the hystorical centre of Lisbon, although the Apartment we got was not in Rua Manuel Bernardes 3, as in the Booking confirmation, but in Rua da Quintinha 16. This is not far from the Booking location, but is completely different from the pictures you can see in the Booking.com site, and there only 1 Bathroom instead of 2 Bathrooms. There are too many negatives, both from the apartment and from the host: 1. The apartment was different and worse than the one we booked: older, dirtier. Only one bathroom instead of two bathrooms. The second Bedroom with 2 small beds instead of a double bad. 2. Terrible cleaning, the apartment is infested with cockroaches, we find them dead and almost alive under the sofa, other the furniture and near the large window. They were aware because there were traps everywhere (see photo) Outside the small garden had not been cleaned for a long time and was full of dead cockroaches. They came to clean when we complained. 3. I couldn't use the dishwasher because it was clogged with stagnant and smelly water inside. They came to fix it, just starting the machine. 4. the TV decoder didn't work. Never fixed. 5. last but not least, once I left the apartment, I asked to receive back the €300 deposit, which I paid via bank transfer. For almost a week they used a different excuse every day not to return the money. They are using customers as a bank to make money from your money in their bank account for an excessive week.

- Burrows (10/5): Comfortable, with good location for young groups - We liked the balcony, and the lounge area as a place to relax. Having a kitchen to cook was also very useful On occasion the keycard on the phone would play up for a couple of minutes, but it always worked in the end

- Marc (1/5): Would not stay here or recommend this property. - Location was perfect. Walkable to all the cool places. Rooftop terrace! Original location canceled due to infestation. Company put us at this location 5 mins away. Only had hot water twice in 4 days. 2nd floor bathroom shower was clogged. 3 sets of unlabeled keys, had to guess which ones for each floor. Not able to close apartment front door. No soap in any of the bathrooms. Musty master bedroom.
- Qurat (8/5): Very good - It was a good location. The flat had all the amenities There was a certain smell in the apartment. The apartment was not cleaned properly
- Burcu (8/5): FeelingLisbon - Check-in was clear and easy, the house owners were helpfull and problem solvers. Fast feedbacks. Great hosting. Unfortunately we couldn't stay at the apartment that we booked because of some infiltration problem, that we were informed before check-in. Instead they arranged us another apartment, actually the whole building. The new place was 3 rooms 4 bathrooms and with a terrace. The new building was bigger and closer to the metro station. However it needed renovation for all the bathrooms and kitchen. Some housewares and curtains were missing. But totally we were happy, because the ladies were very helpful, incase we didn`t like the new house they were ready to change for some other houses.

- Amanda (4/5): Nice place; terribly rude host which - Location and comfortable beds. The lady who worked in the office was nice in person. I’m not sure who works their messaging account, but I highly do not recommend communicating with them on WhatsApp. They were extremely rude on WhatsApp. They accused us of having 3 additional guest while there. When in fact, I had contacted Booking customer service to inform them prior to checking in, that we would have 3 guest instead of 2. At the same time, I told them I do not have an IBAN account to give them the 300€ deposit; they said it’d be fine to go without. Then while boarding my plane, I was told I needed to give a 300€ cash deposit at the office prior to checking in and then pick up the deposit at check out (even though I was checking out prior to the office opening). The host was demanding via WhatsApp and rude. Was not helpful in regards to where to park, until I persistently asked several times. I am Genius level 3 and use Booking almost monthly for stays, and this place was by far the rudest host. Would not recommend (and this is the first place I’ve ever not recommended) Other things to note: no hand soap in the bathroom.
