Guest Reviews
- Mary Jane (8/5): - Staff was very helpful for directions and restaurant suggestions. Very close to train station. Close to Metro. Clean room, good space, and nice bed.
- Alejandro (2/5): - Independientemente que voy a solicitarles el rembolso total de este "Hotel", Beauty NO ME RECIBIÓ Y ME MANDO A UNA INSTALACION QUE YO NO SELECCIONE, DONDE NO HABIA AGUA FRIA, EL SERVICIO ERA COMO DE CAMPO DE CONCENTRACION, LA CAMA ESTABA A 30 CM DEL SUELO Y NO PROPORCIONABAN TOALLAS, SIN AIRE ACONDICIONADO, SIN SIQUIERA UNA SILLA EN LA HABITACIÓN
- Yiseul (5/5): Passable - Location. You could find better place. Need to pay extra 5euro for the city tax per night.
- Elsevar (1/5): Bad -
- Bruna (1/5): Bad -
- Facundo (7/5): Alright - It’s good for a night It’s alright
- Facundo (7/5): Fair enough - Good location and fair price The first guy at the reception was very nice and helpful but the second guy was all the time on his phone and didn’t even bother to look at people when they asked anything.
- Molly (3/5): Poor -
- Bhaskar (4/5): - Do not recommend for the brits. It may be ok for some budget friendly countries where minimum standards are bit low.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Su (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good Not clean, no.air conditioned, noisy

- Lisa (2/5): Never again - Pretty Good location Dirty
Kitchen lacks basic supplies
No hand towels or paper towels
Thin walls/noisy
Place is falling apart!
- Sofia (1/5): Bad -
- Patricia (7/5): I enjoyed my stay for the cost. I like having my own room and don’t mind sharing a bathroom - The room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a good location. I like to walk and from the Hotel Beauty I averaged 10 km per day. Perfect! Also quite close to cheap cafes and the bus to Bari. The showers were good but there was no place to put your towels and clothing. There was a hook but it was too high and not a big enough hook. The showers have limited space. They were always clean. Also, they charged for towels. Not much but really?!?
- Simpson (9/5): Really great place to stay, highly recommended. - The location was very good, clean and well managed. It was also very cool as well. It was difficult to find the door. There needs to be a sign on the door saying 'Hotel Beauty'
- Moradi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Svitlana (10/5): Фотографий делать не хотелось - the staff was wonderful The room was spacious, but the street was noisy. The bed linen was white, but the floors were not cleaned. I accidentally spilled nuts and looked under the bed. The dust was 3 cm. I concluded that the floors were not washed. The showers were terrible. The shelves in the showers were broken, the water in the showers flowed slowly and the drains stank
- Diana (6/5): - The experience was not that bad as I expected. Even so, I do not recomend to stay un this place
- Yegana (6/5): Pleasant -
- Imad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Henrick (8/5): Very good - Location is great for those who are looking for nearby transport access and close to some tourist attractions Not much cups and glasses in the kitchen. Nothing major, but they should have a few more
- Giovanni (7/5): Value for money - Close to city center ,amenities , underground
Ideal with group of friends
- Mario (10/5): Exceptional - front desk Person was Great, very helpful with directions and locks. Great shower
- Renata (4/5): Disappointing - The rooms are spacy and clean There are not enough forks, spoons and cups. THe toilets clog sorry to find out the hard way
- Zoran (7/5): Good -
- Meira (8/5): Very good - Nice comfortable beds, location is good Dirty bathroom, paid late check in (after 23.00, even my flight was delayed, also they didn’t explain why it’s for an extra payment)
- Monica (1/5): WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - Nothing, not even the price for the stay. Buying a ticket from the bus line to take you to another city and to stay at another hostel, because this is NOT A HOTEL is better than this place 100% My bad I like the fact that the hostel was near Termini station. That’s about it. The location sucks though. The area is all tagged up. Everything. Where do I even begin!?
No towels are provided, the owner is not Italian that says it all. Take your own soap and shampoo. One miniature soap and shampoo is provided for stay. It’s a joke, don’t even bother to use, you will
Need more. Uncomfortable beds, however you can’t feel it when you are about to sleep because you are tired, but you will feel it in the morning. NO LOCK IN YOUR STORAGE PROVIDED!!! You must have a key lock on your bags and luggage because as I said, no key and lock provided either the storage space you are given 👎👎👎ANYWAYS THIS PLACE IS JUST PLAIN BAD. Save a little more money and stay at a decent place with your own bathroom. Shared restroom and bedroom too. The property doesn’t get updated. The owner is cheap, but that’s how you make money. Other people will book because of price. Don’t be fooled. Better hostels out there! NOT A HOTEL!! 🚫
- Tommy (10/5): - Good
- Edward (8/5): Old but good, like the city itself. - This was a very affordable place walking distance from the main station and the metro, which allowed me to get to and from here easily. The staff was very professional, and the rooms were spacious. This place is quite old, and as such, many things either don't work properly (e.g. doors that don't close) or have noticeable wear and tear (e.g. the showers). My particular room was also a pass through for people staying in the room nextdoor, which was a bit awkward at times.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Pedro (9/5): Superb -
- Smith (7/5): Good - lovely and helpful staff, clean hotel. bathroom and other facilities are very limited.
- Das (2/5): Very poor -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Surpreendeu negativamente! Me senti num mausoléu.
- Anton (4/5): - Bad experience. Don't worth the cost. Unclean smelly room and also ask for extra pay for towels
- Alberto (6/5): You get what you pay for - staff and location The wifi did not work whatsoever, for international travelers is very important
- Veronika (10/5): Exceptional - Personnel was very friendly and helpful, the room was quiet, the location excellent.
- John (5/5): Wont use this hotel again - Staff is fine and friendly You have to pay for the towel which is called hotel beauty, needs to be hostel beauty. first time to check in for hotel that u need to pay for the towel and if you exceeded the time for the check in after 11 midnight then you have to pay extra again.
- Javier (5/5): Passable -
- Waseem (1/5): My stay was extremely disappointing due to poor room conditions and unprofessional service. - This was my third visit to Rome, and unfortunately, it was the worst travel experience I've had in Europe so far. I paid a moderate amount for a single bed, but the room was in very poor condition and highly uncomfortable, making it difficult to stay even for one night. Hostel Mosaic Address: Via Cernaia 39 B, Central Station, 00185 Rome, Italy is cheaper and better than this one.
Some key issues I faced:
The room had three beds, and there was another room connected inside, meaning that guests from the other room had to walk through ours, disturbing our privacy and comfort.
The blanket was dirty, and the door made loud noises every time it opened—it seemed to be damaged or broken.
The lift was not working, and the room was on the third floor, making it difficult to carry luggage.
The lockers were broken—only one was functional, and I had to buy a lock separately or take my belongings with me whenever I went out.
The hotel was located next to a tram line, and the noise from passing trams continued throughout the night.
The staff was unhelpful and rude. For example, I asked about using a vacant and unoccupied cubby/locker, but they refused without explanation.
There was no ceiling light in the room—only a dim table lamp.
Lastly, the floor was dirty, and the room overall felt very unclean and unorganized.
This experience did not match the description or expectations, and I believe it’s important that future guests are made aware of these conditions. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements. Broken room door that made loud noises every time it was opened or closed
Washroom door was dirty and could not be properly locked
Broken safe/locker that could not be used
Room was inside another room, so over six people were sharing the same access; the shared door was broken and noisy
Lift was not working, causing inconvenience (especially with luggage)
Staff was rude and unhelpful
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Mohamed (5/5): Passable -
- Thomas (1/5): Bad -
- Juan (1/5): Bad - The worst experience of my life
- Handayani (4/5): Disappointing - Bath room dirty
Door broken make noise when keep open
No lock for locker
- Florin (7/5): Good - central location close to train station and all attractions
basic room, noise during the night from the other appartament
- Mohammad (5/5): Passable -
- Pacalso (7/5): Good -
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Beniamino (10/5): Grazie! Thank you! -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - I think that this Place doesnt deserve the low ratings and bad reputation It has. I found It clean, safe and cheap. Of course the Building Is old and probably some places Need renovations but reading other reviews It seems like entering dante's inferno. Staff have always been nice and kind to me. If youre looking for a cheap Place to stay in Rome and not expecting Hilton standards this can be an excellent solution. Walls and some floors which are scratched Need a renovation
- Judy (9/5): Superb -
- Beniamino (10/5): Grazie! Thank you! -
- Dineshboopathi (5/5): Passable - Location near station The bathroom is very bad. There is no light in the shower room and no cleanliness.
- Natasha (4/5): You pay for what you get - It’s close to the station Overall cleanliness and disrepair
- Ola (2/5): Very poor -
- Tajaddin (6/5): Pleasant - My room was a bit dirty, all the rest fine.
- Sebastian (1/5): Would be great if they really make sure the rooms are CLEAN! -
- Irene (2/5): - worst experienced!! acensore
non funziona.. you need to walk stairs from 1st floor to 5th floor, bed and breakfast but the kitchen is in 3rd floor and our room is on 5th floor
kitchen is dirty oven is dirty u not
allowed to
cook .. only the dirty
boiler and oven allowed to used!! we
also pay 12 euro a day for the room tax and 2 euro for towels!!!
- Nikola (1/5): I do not recommend it, it can make the stay unpleasant. - Nothing! Good morning,
we stayed with "you" from 6-9 February 2025 and I can truly tell you that we were very disappointed.
We were supposed to be staying at the Beauty Hotel and in the end you gave us another hotel without any information. I understand that you had problems with the water, but according to the reviews, it is a long-term issue!
A hair dryer should also have been part of the room and unfortunately it wasn't either, but the heating in the room was not working. The hot water only ran for a short time each day and then it stopped too and the cleaning was a disaster!
Sorry, but this could never pass hygiene!!!
Beds very uncomfortable, and mold in the shower!
I would like to ask how you intend to solve it? we paid for the accommodation that was on the photo and not what we got!
- Eshe (1/5): Avoid hotel beauty - The location is great and very central The room was extremely dirty. The bedsheet had stains on it. The room was extremely cold as there was no heating on. No towels provided. The bathroom water doesn't drain after a shower. The wardrobe had a waste bin filled with rubbish inside. When you go out the staff will enter your room without your permission as my window I left locked was opened when I returned. On checking-in at almost 11pm staff was asking me to pay a council tax which I wasn't pre-informed about. I said I'll pay it in the morning and the staff said he will have to cease my passport. This an awful place to stay
- Ivee (8/5): nice place - Next time you give avvisso to your client no other things…no towels,no shampoo,no bagnoschiuma no any rag for the wet floor very good
- Lu (9/5): Good value close to termini great staff - Comfortable for 5 people
Location close termini
- Joan (8/5): Very good -
- Bruna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Abid (1/5): Bad -
- Sudhir (9/5): Superb -
- Anita (8/5): Very good -
- Andreas (2/5): Very poor - I didn’t find anything good about this place and also the photos in the booking are not showing what this place really looks like Stay away as far as you can!! The worst hotel experience i ever had. The bathroom is not included in the bedrooms, there was no shampoo nor toilet paper in the bathrooms. Also the bathrooms were dirty, we didn’t have towels for the shower and the rooms plus the bathroom were dirty
- Joanna (4/5): Disappointing - Location Old and dirty
- Savaş (2/5): Very poor - Only the location is nice. The rooms are cold, they put a shared kitchen and don't let you cook anything, in general the whole place is very old and creaky. Definitely not worth the money.
- Ζουμά (1/5): I don’t think it’s a value for the price, I wouldn’t recommend. - The stuff was polite. We didn’t get the services that we paid for. The heater was never on, there wasn’t hot water in our room. Too much trouble for our staying. We had to take a bath in a public bathroom even if we had paid for the private one. At first they offered us a room which was in a worst condition than the one we already stayed and we denied it. Even though the stuff was nice and polite I wouldn’t say that for the owner because as he spoke on the phone with the stuff we heard him laughing when we asked for a refund. He gave us back a worth of a nigh only. Also they changed us room before the last nigh without saying something in advance, they just informed us that we have to take our stuff and change room in ten minutes, because of some mechanics. It wasn’t really clean, I wouldn’t recommend.
- Konstantinos (1/5): Tragic experience - Tragic experience. Room without heating or air conditioning with unbearable humidity in December. They gave us a second blanket but the cold didn't allow you to sleep. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning and prayed that the kids wouldn't get sick. We want our money back
- Shokrullah (3/5): Poor - the staffs were friendly The room was not ready for our check-in. we waited about 30 minutes, the hot water did not work properly, the first hour of my stay my room had no electricity. The bed was not comfortable and the room was so cold.
- Beatriz (4/5): Disappointing -
- Viktoriia (7/5): Good - Helpful staff, metro nearby. Termini within walking distance. We were there in December and the room was quite fresh, there is not enough heating inside the room. The presence of blankets did not help much and the pillows are not comfortable for sleeping.
- Adrian (1/5): Don’t stay here unless desperate - Nothing. Too dirty and noisy! Bathrooms were filthy, the bed was squeaky and felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. No central heating, the light was too dim and was hard to see anything in the room, the door was dragging on the floor and getting stuck half opened. There was a big crack in the wall next too the door(probably the room was broken into before)
The key was hard to insert( bad copy)
The elevator door wasn’t opening from inside at ground floor(we had to go to the second and then walk down the stairs). We were charged 20€ even though the website states 14€ for the city tax.
The hot water in bathroom is hard to guess how to turn on. Nothing was explained. Hot water in the bathtub bathroom isn’t working. I don’t think it’s been cleaned while we were there in the bathroom . The bathroom door lock was a joke as people can clearly see inside through the space between. People tried to open the door at night twice. Very loud group of people woke us up at around midnight. No pots or pans in the kitchen, no rubbish bin in the room, no view. Loud water gutters or sewage was noticeable all night. Paint and rust stained our clothes on those drying racks by the sink.
- Monika (1/5): No heating, terrible hotel - The only good thing about this hotel was the location other wise everything else was terrible There was no heating the whole time we were there -in the winter. The receptionists kept lying to us and telling us someone was coming fix it or that someone had fixed but it still wasnt working. There was also no hot water in the first room we were in. The whole hotel was terrible and the worst one I have ever been in. The attitude of the staff was also not the best and we were told by one staff member that they knew how we felt sleeping in the freezing cold for the whole week because they had a headache. One of the only facilities stated on booking about the hotel was that they had heating, and they didn't even have that.
- Amirreza (1/5): Bad - Very dirty
The bathroom and toilet smelled of urine. It is clear that they do not clean the bathroom floor well.
There is no soap in the bathroom and toilet.
Towels only with payments!
It is cold. There is no heater!
After less than a day staying my whole body is covered in rashes. I will complain to the hotel as soon as possible.
For now, I have sent my complaint to Booking.
- Roberto (2/5): - Struttura vecchia, sporca stanze senza acqua calda, senza riscaldamento.
- Lukasz (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable room, friendly service, great location
- Mari (1/5): Vomit!!!! - Nothing Everything terrible
- Louie (1/5): Bad -
- Vyacheslav (8/5): Very good -
- Mohamad (7/5): Good -
- Stephen (4/5): - The bad:
- Came at 8 at night, nobody answered the freaking doorbell, some lady that was staying there came from a store and opened the main door for us; luckily for us or we would’ve probably slept outside.
- City tax was €30 which to USD conversion was more than what was stated on the “Expedia receipt”; cash only even though Expedia states it can be collected by card.
- Temperatures were right around 2-8 degrees celsius in Rome and we had no hot water access on either the shower or faucet; we know hard water is a problem but they could atleast turn on the heater for a limited time frame. FYI when taking a shower, water is as cold or colder than outside temperature.
- First room had a broken and faulty toilet that didn’t stop water from running and was constantly filling the water deposit.
- We had wi-fi for the 1st day, then on the other 3 we had from extremely poor connection to no connection at all.
- No room cleaning on the 1st day so we asked for the room to not be cleaned at all until we left, either way they wouldn’t have cleaned it.
- €2 for towels which is stated but come on; no hand soap, no bath soap, no shampoo, no hairdryer in our room but in others there was one
- 3rd floor is the “common area”, microwave was dirty.
- Bathtub in our room had a faulty “water trap” which wouldn’t allow for water to drain at all.
The good
- They changed our room quickly due to the toilet issue.
- Access to Roma Termini Station.
Hotel or HoStel?
Go ahead, skip it and pay more.
- Batsaikhan (9/5): Superb -
- Mucaj (7/5): Good - very polite staff,location is good .
- Balemen (1/5): One of the shitest hotel at rome. Don’t go - Nothing
- Elchın (1/5): Awful - Nothing. The service and attitude of the hotel personal was just awful. We booked hotel for two nights and arrived to the hotel at night ( said them beforehand that we will arrive late ) but there was no one to open the door. They were reacted like it was normal even didn’t apologise or pay back the money. We do not recommend it to anyone!
