- LeslieBStein405 (10/5): Warm Hospitality in a Perfect Location - The Graduate hotel in Ann Arbor is in an excellent location, making it a very convenient place to stay. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and friendly throughout my visit. While the rooms could benefit from some updates, they were clean and featured charming, nostalgic touches that reflect the university’s character. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay. I even had the chance to speak with the general manager while getting coffee one morning, which added a nice personal touch. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and professional.

- janicewZ5758OK (6/5): Room temp doesn’t go below 75-77 degrees - This hotel is one of the “nicer” hotel options in Ann Arbor. The location and onsite coffee/restaurant are all great perks BUT it is INSANELY hot in this hotel. If you are heat intolerant or are a warm sleeper you will die here. I’m from Texas and was extremely uncomfortable here. I ran the AC the entire time I was there and was able to drop the temp to 75 degrees but I woke up in the middle of the night and it rose back up to 81. The windows only open a crack so i couldn’t get a breeze. It was so hot I almost left in the middle of the night. I messaged the front desk and she told me the entire hotel is hot as a result of the outside temperature (it was 68 degrees for a high that day). I can not imagine this hotel in the summertime. If you run hot this is not the place for you.

No esperaba encontrar pelos en la nevera, como tampoco obturando el filtro de la ducha. La pantalla del televisor era un poema. Para usar el armario hacía falta la linterna del móvil, porque estaba pintado de negro y no había ninguna luz cercana. El lobby está tomado por los estudiantes de la universidad, que interfieren en el confort de los huéspedes porque ocupan todo el lobby, al tener una buena wifi abierta y un lobby muy agradable. No volveré.

- Tomas (9/5): This hotel is super cool, centrally located, it makes you feel like you are part of the Ann Arbor and University of Mich - The the hotel is beautiful, the vibe is cool and the staff are exceptional They were tons of high school kids staying at the hotel for prospective student weekend and so it at times felt a little bit like being in a college dorm just because of the energy and the excitement the kids had but it was fine in the end. The brunch was not the greatest and so I would not recommend having breakfast at the hotel.

- 950ff (10/5): Super Staff - Eric - I just had a wonderful, uplifting conversation with a Graduate Ann Arbor employee named Eric. He was both professional and kind, personable and very helpful. When I come across team members like Eric, I wonder what shaped their lives or what training they've had to make them such natural customer service people. He struck me as a great listener and sought to make our stay as positive as possible. He's ... terrific. Just thought I would share. We will be visiting next month!
- N1192ISemmab (4/5): Extremely over priced - I’ve never complained about a hotel before but the price we paid for one night, this place is a total rip off. It felt like a holiday Inn. Run down and grubby hotel. The bathroom was in dire need of a refresh, the rooms were dirty and stuffy and the amenities were a joke. The front desk were pleasant but totally inept. They just kept making mistakes - wrong loyalty program inputted, never followed up when they said they would. For a $700 a night hotel I’d expect room service (traveling with social needs and it just makes life easier) and a clean room.

- paurora (6/5): Not a great sleep - Staying here now. There are some positives to the hotel but the biggest downside is the sleep quality. It’s so hot in the rooms and there is no way to turn down the temperature. 74 degrees and I’m staring at the ceiling at 1am. Never again. No lotion or coffee in the rooms, at least not in mine (there is a coffee maker). Common spaces are pleasant, Décor in rooms is tasteful but walls in dire need of repainting. Texting the hotel is quick and easy and friendly. Sleep quality is important though and it’s a fail. Restaurant- nice space, really poor food. Can’t believe I went twice.

- Andrea Grodin (7/5): not bad for a mid-priced small hotel, but definitely getting tired looking. - Location was excellent. The food at the hotel was mediocre. Many coffee shops are within walking distance. The hotel cleanliness was so-so. I noticed debris and worn furniture in most public spaces. We stayed there a few years ago and it was better-maintained at that time. I had problems connecting to the WiFi. The hotel tech person (working remotely) did not have good customer service skills.

Extremely loud conversations between workers, loud drilling noise and simple construction noise. Hard to ignore, impossible to rest before the show. We expected more especially for the price we paid. Have stayed at other Graduate hotels without these issues. Should have informed us about this construction or simply not put us in that room. Probably should have asked to be moved, thought they would stop, had to get ready for the show.

I think in our floor those and it’s like to Pia from late 1800s.. but the best thing is the staff. You know we had to drive almost 4 hours to get there and when my wife got in the car, it was amazing to see ballet, make her feel comfortable and less than a second. The front desk was awesome. I gotta say Ben is absolutely amazing. I’m definitely a unique person, and he was able to relate to me instantly, and I noticed that he could relate to everybody instantly incredible human.
- Reviewsking (2/5): Terrible experience with management - I wish I could focus on something besides how poorly we have been treated by the management of this property, but I can’t. We stayed at the hotel for a few nights and had to leave because of a family matter. I was told by the hotel, quite graciously, that I would be refunded for the night we didn’t use. After I realized the night wasn’t refunded, I began a four month effort to receive the refund I was promised. I called Hilton, I was told multiple times it would be taken care of, and finally four months later was told by the hotel that I would not be receiving a refund—for no particular reason. A dozen phone calls, countless emails, and then abruptly told—-after being assured by both the Ann Arbor property and the Hilton that I would receive a refund—that they had decided capriciously that they were keeping my money. I really can’t share the level of frustration; it’s fine if there’s a policy, but to be told numerous times by various individuals that it would be taken care of, only to be told the opposite months later, is ridiculous. A massive waste of time and energy. Myopic customer service. There are plenty of other options in Ann Arbor. I suggest you choose one of them.

The hotel was bustling - students study in the lobby regularly. The decor is fun. Our bathroom could’ve been a bit nicer - it was worn. But overall a wonderful stay.

- carolinet37 (4/5): Residence Inn is a way better choice, only a few blocks walk. - I stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Nice check in staff and friendly valet guys. Lobby has a cool vibe and good coffee. But that’s all for the positives. Room was dirty, bed lumpy, walls are PAPER THIN. I could literally hear everything from the rooms on either side of me, conversations, phone alarms. One night I was forced to listen to an hour long zoom call with some folks in Germany I think. Bathroom is small. A/C did not work, it just blew hot smelly air constantly. The mini fridge was 1000 years old and made whining and croaking sounds all night. No peace or quiet, no good night sleep. Room had a dingy odor. Last time I was in Ann Arbor I stayed at the residence inn and that will be my choice next time also. Never again Graduate Ann Arbor.

- 우종훈 (7/5): 최고의 위치, 그러나 아쉬운 가성비 - 참석하는 학회가 열리는 미시간 대학 바로 맡은편에 있어 저에게는 최고의 위치였습니다. 그 뿐만 아니라 CVS나 Target과 같은 마트도 도보 5분 거리이내에 있었고, 휴런 강도 걸어서 10분 내외의 거리에 있어 좋았습니다. 그리고 7층 객실에 투숙했는데 앤아버 주택가와 휴론강 쪽으로 평쳐지는 광할한 평지의 단풍이 너무 아름다운 풍경이었습니다. 한국 원화 기준으로 1박에 40만원이 넘는 객실이었는데, 객실의 어메너티도 부족하고, 룸 서비스 후 물이나 타월 등 refill도 규칙적이지 않아 따로 요청해야할 때가 있었습니다. 객실의 히터도 작동은 되는것 같은데 밤에 잘 때 냉기가 없어지지않아 잠도 설치고 코감기에 걸리기도 했습니다. 룸서비스도 바닥 청소는 하지 않는것인지 전날 떨어트린 것들이 거의 치워져 있지 않기도 했고, 카운터의 직원들도 불친절하다고까지 할 건 아니였지만 고객이 케어 받는다는 느낌을 받지는 못했습니다. 여러가지로 아쉽습니다.

- lchjr (8/5): Location Is Key---But Some Issues. - We were here for two nights. The Graduate is a Hilton property which has one major asset that's key to its relevance---it's the only major hotel located adjacent to the Michigan campus. It's just a 5 minute walk to the Quad and State Street shopping. It's a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Ann Arbor. There are many good restaurants in the area. Most of the guests here seem to be there for U of M business/activities, and are on the young side. The lobby area seems always to be frenetic with students, people on their laptops, etc.---not a relaxing environment. But the location is so important that negative factors noted below are not such a big deal. Location is what you're paying for. The hotel shows its age, but is in generally good condition. Our King Room had dark gray (rather depressing) walls. Why this color?? The bathroom was quite small, but did have a nice shower. The TV was small compared to the large ones most chains now have. Overall decor in the room was nothing special. There is a restaurant here, but the breakfast and dinner menu is pretty limited. However, there is a grab 'n go area that does have a very good selection (and the food here was good). Also, we did have breakfast in the restaurant one day---we were the only ones there. And it was actually very good. The bar area is pretty small. Valet parking ($40/day) was fine. Overall, it was a decent stay. We wanted to do some walking around the campus, and you just can't beat the location. Surprisingly for such a busy hotel, the staff here were very friendly and helpful. Everybody we interacted with had a positive attitude.

- hf8675309 (6/5): Decent but needs gut refurb - Staff is wonderful but rooms need full Reno. Rooms also very small w few amenities. No bathroom door for privacy. Mattresses old. No full time coffee in lobby. Waitresses in pub are nice but unrefined. One said she “had a brain fart.” Odd.

- Sarah (10/5): - The staff were so kind, we loved talking with Eric, and the staff at the bar. We felt safe while we stayed here for the Zach Bryan concert, it had just been a tad disappointing that our room wasn’t ready at 4 instead after 4:30, but they gave us tickets for the bar and that helped while we wait. Overall great experience, we’ll be back.
- Sarah (10/5): - Comfortable beds and breathable bedding, very convenient location and valet parking makes this a good spot for staying and exploring Ann Arbor. Hotel is about a 45-min walk to the Big House.

- Sandra (8/5): Location is still the best - I have stayed there for 11 years straight for the Ann Arbor Arts Festival. The location is perfect and will hopefully continue to stay there as long as I attend. Over the past few years, the rooms have become a bit tired. Comfortable but could use a refurbishment. The Price has gone up considerably as well over the past few years. I understand so has everything else. I also have the choice to pay less and stay elsewhere.

- Chitownee (10/5): Fantastic location close to state street without the noise - This hotel is fantastic. Cute decor (math problems) on the pillars when you walk into the hotel. Lots of sitting area in the main lobby. Also has a bar and restaurant (although we didn't eat there). Rooms are on the smaller side (we had two queens) decorated with michigan paraphenalia. Valet took 5-10 minutes each time we requested the vehicle which wasn't a problem for us. They gave us a goodie bag since we were staying there for the first Michigan game of the season. Nice touch. Great location to state street and all that it has to offer. Walkable to the stadium (20 minutes) and everywhere else on central campus.

- simone (7/5): Very happy with our stay - small but important details would take it to a 10 - The location and frount desk team are excellent and vibe is cool. The bar and onsite cafe is bonus. For this money it’s reasonable to expect rooms are cleaned well between each guest. The rooms are styled to feel cosy on theme which is gives the hotel its character but this furniture and decoration heavy style that has accumulates dust over time - the team would do really well to stay on top of it.

The yummy blank slate creamery ice cream shop was right across the street which was a bonus! We will definitely be staying again the next time we visit Ann Arbor.

The hotel has a really cool vibe and is close to the school ( this brand of hotel is at most major colleges) I learned quickly how die hard the guests and staff are for the Michigan college football team. The staff was wonderful and helpful and I will definitely be returning
- michael (8/5): - Very nice property close to the university of Michigan. Rooms and bathrooms were small but clean. Nice coffee shop in lobby and staff are friendly. I would however caution you that if you are booking two queen beds in a room they cannot guarantee the bedding. In fact they gave us a king bed instead. There are no rollaway options either. Also if you are a family with multiple rooms they cannot place you adjoining or even on the same floor despite multiple requests so plan accordingly . Probably your best option if visiting Univ of Michigan.
- Rachel (6/5): - Lobby smells musty and moldy My room was freezing and I couldn’t do anything about it. The front desk was less than enthusiastic , I wouldn’t pay over 240 a night here. I spent way too much.

- Amy (8/5): Great hotel, noisy at night - A great hotel, helpful staff and loved the lobby area for coffee and it had ample space for meeting with coworkers. My room was great, comfortable beds, nice amenities, and loved the decor. I was in a room right by the elevator and it was very loud at night. I couldn’t tell if directly above me was a storage closet or just really loud guests. If you get a room by an elevator I’d trust to move
- Shaniqua (8/5): - I love the rustic look. The history built into the hotel is amazing to see. Large beds very comfy. We connected our fire stick, easy to do.
