- Tharani (10/5): - The hotel is walking distance to Bendemeer Mrt station and Kallang bus stop. The environment was safe too. This made us easier to travel. The room was clean and tidy. Also, we had reached earlier before the check-in. Hence, they let us to use their public washroom to freshen up and kept our luggage at their storage room. Love this the most about their service. Would highly recommend

Considered 4 star accommodation but definitely not, 3 star max and service more like 2 star. Bathroom floor was clogged, when we went out we requested reception to check it. When we came back from a day out (out for 6 hours plus), the shower was fixed but the room door had been left open by the hotel…. Also cleaned our towels one day but forget to replace so had to request from reception again. Our stay was only 3 nights but had many issues.

- Jocelyn (5/5): - Great location and bed area was nice and clean + modern. Pillows were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Did not have a good rest, woke up with neck and head pain. Bathroom appeared clean from a far but when looking more closely there where some areas that where not cleaned thoroughly and lacked attention to detail; corners of shower floor, drainhole and outline of sink. Shower drain was also blocked on the 1st night so had to ask staff to attend to this.

- Danice (6/5): Nice boutique hotel but a bit overpriced tbh - Good location near MRT and many restaurants and a 7-eleven, very clean, comfortable bed, great water pressure for the shower, fragrant hallways Front desk staff was not very warm not welcoming, not very professional. When we checked out they did not even say "thank you for booking with us" or ask about our stay. They simply collected our card keys and then went to the office to sleep! I noticed frayed towels also. Front desk staff doubles as cook for breakfast (weird).

- Fiona (7/5): Good stay - would definitely look at larger room/room further away from road next time. - Staff was very responsive - had issue with a cold shower and a sink plug that was remedied very quickly. Rooms were serviced efficiently. Hotel was clean and tidy, Location great access to two differrent MRT lines. Standard room with queen bed was tiny. We had 2 suitcases and there was barely any floor to use to move around so difficult to get on off bed and move around with 2 people. Our room was on the first floor facing the road. The windows don't provide a good sound buffer so the car, garbage truck most mornings and music from cars was really noisy. I imagine this isn't an issue for rooms further away..

- Janice Christe (5/5): Underwhelming stay in the Superior Queen Room - Easy check in and out. We checked in at almost 12 midnight and there was someone waiting for us. Housekeeping staff pleasant. Free instant coffee, tea and two bottles of water a day. Toiletries were L'Occitane. There was a restaurant but we did not try it. The Superior Queen Room was small for 2 pax with luggages. Good if you only have backpacks. No space to move around, just the bed and space going to the bathroom. Very small ref, hardly usable. Thin towels. Gray carpet looks worn out, but I did see staff vacuuming it almost every day of our stay. Not quite a short walk to the Lavender MRT station as I imagined.

- Hunsam (1/5): Bad - Its location is good. Friendly staff. The bedroom I booked had serious sanity issues over cleanness level. 1. Its wall papers were peeling off on many spots. There might be a long period water leaking problem from window. There is a very thick coloured water mark and the a whole wall paper under the mark was splited from another piece and peeled off. Its whole backside has mold ( but a mixing of water & additive- the manager insisted) 2. It has a tiny fridge but I think it had not being working for a long time. The surface inside it had dirt, mold or mold residues . Some were solved with water some were dried. 3. I was coughing all night and didn't fall asleep. I guess there are many dirt or mold in the air in bedroom.. 4. The breakfast I prepaid for was served the next day. But it had very limited selection and not a buffet style at all. The onsite manager (or the owner) took our orders abd he cooked it by himself and it was served. It took over 40 minutes to get our meal. Then he went outside and smoked. Because I alredy saw the room's sanity condition, I thought the ordours of smoking minght be mixed into food. The sitting area was stained seriosly. I am sure there is no spot that doesn have stain.But the advertised pictures show that it is very clean. Is thks a fake? 5. I notified the problems to the front staffimmediatey check-in. Over the night, because I didn't sleep due to cough, i expressed my wish to cancel 3 nights accomodation. The next morning I showed the pictures and videos to the manager and he said he will cancel 2 nights but he will not cancel all the 3 nights because I arealdy used it.but I was struggling and awaken all nmthe night. 6. It is a nightmare. The Arcadia hotel is marked with 4 starts. I trusted it. But why does Booking.com allow the 4 stars?

- Erika (5/5): Passable - We stayed at this hotel for over a week. The hotel offers daily cleaning service, and all the staff members were genuinely nice and helpful. There's also a convenient laundry area behind the hotel, costing S$12 per load (wash and dry). The hotel's location is excellent, putting you close to everything you might need. Upon checking in, I was assigned to room 210 where I found it impossible to sleep in. It felt as if I was sleeping directly on the road, I could hear every single sound from outside. A staff was quick to accommodate my request to be moved to another room, which I greatly appreciated. If you're considering staying here, I highly recommend requesting a room without a window for a much better night's sleep. The toilet wasn't the cleanest. Probably due to the hotel's age, and while it served its purpose, I was quite uncomfortable using it throughout my stay. The room itself was quite small, but again, it did serve its basic purpose.

- R9842CSericg (2/5): Not what's advertised! - This 4 star hotel is by far the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed in my life. As a world traveller, I was surprised on arrival to experience my hotel booking with Booking.com was not as advertised. I was led to believe it was a room with balcony, however I ended up with a room with no windows. I was asked by the hotel that I had to pay extra to get a room with window! So I had no choice but to do so. Other guests had complained too, as this was a reoccurring problem with the owner showing no interest. My upgraded room was at 5th floor with window and balcony. The room was small and old. The carpet looked liked it had never been cleaned. Facilities were very limited and basic. The only mirror was in the bathroom and there was no electric shaving point. Shower was good but had nowhere to hang a towel. Toiletries were adequate. Towels looked old and stringy, however clean. Bed was clean and comfortable and there was no bedside table! Toilet looked old and stained. Wallpapers peeling off the wall. Wooden window frames rotting away and paint peeling off. Door handle half broken. The main guest lift very dirty. The hallway to reception carpet was disgusting. A totally neglected hotel by the owner. As a world traveller, I rate this hotel a generous 1 ⭐️ I placed a review with Booking.com and they have not shared my review with their customers! At the time of my booking, Booking.com had rated this hotel as Excellent!

I satisfied with the cleanliness & size of the room. The shower screen were redundant as the bathroom got wet anyways. Some wallpapers were coming off & quite a few spots with mold. Breakfast was ok, you had 3 limited choices & it's the same everyday.

It’s also relatively quiet compared to more central hotels which is good if you don’t want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city. Arrived around 2pm, was told by one of the staff to come back at 3pm for check-in. Came back at 3, no one was manning the front desk. Knocked on the door to the office, no one was inside. Had to activate my phones roaming plan to call them to come down. Even when the staff came down they looked so disinterested and unbothered. I’m not expecting 5-star service but seriously, you can’t even keep your front desk staffed? The cushioned seats in the “cafe” area are also very stained and the floors are dirty. Thank goodness the actual room was clean, but the toilet floods instantly after a shower. Be prepared for extremely wet floors!

The access was easy and finding the hotel too. Really nice stay for individuals and short-term. I would have preferred the room to have a window as I lost track of time easily in the room that I stayed, but overall it was a great stay.

The pillow is too high for me, I couldn't sleep, I have to roll the towel to support my neck as a pillow. Small toilet.

He then told me to either cancel my reservation (which is non-refundable) or pay for upgrade. He is not even a supervisor or manager. He is the only staff in the hotel and he refused to listen to any reasoning. Since I am not from there and I was not feeling good, I had no choice but to pay for an upgrade. The upgraded room was not even that good. Will not book this hotel in the future.

- Jinru (6/5): Location is central, facilities are good but windowless rooms can be humid - Location is quite central and many foreigners are living in the lavender area, so easy to socialize and you can find decent restaurants and bars nearby. Also very close to the downtown Raffles place area so it saves a lot of time of traveling if that’s where you need to go in the morning for work or business. Facilities wise my room had a mini fridge, TV and strong AC, the shower is hot, not much to complain about. Because the room was windowless it was quite humid so I had to keep the AC on dry mode to remove the moisture. This is the general problem with hotels in Singapore - they are too expensive. So I had to basically pick between 1) a private bathroom 2) a window and 3) shorter travel time with my budget. So this time I picked a room without a window - a couple of nights are probably fine but not recommended for durations longer than that.

- Koji (8/5): Affordable and cozy. - Good location to two MRT stations and stores. Fine artistic design and lobby in petite-price. Too short shower curtain. Every time when i use shower, room is soaked.
