- Travel R (10/5): Exceptional views and lovely staff 👏 - Beautiful location, great hotel, stunning views, and the most kindest staff. We felt welcomed as soon as we entered. The staff tried their best to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They knew I don't enjoy eggs and made me indian breakfast instead which wasn't even on the menu. The views are exceptional with a panoramic view of the mountains, greenery, and river. Just wish the bed was more comfortable. I had pain in my back afterwards. But don't let this put you off please!

It was amazing and it is totally focus to the mountain view, polgolla dam and mahawali river. The room was well cleaned, comfortable and foods also tasty. I want visit asap when i was free.

Breakfast was fantastic; we really enjoyed it as it was delicious. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. The bathroom needs more maintenance. The grout should be replaced, and the shower door needs to be fixed. Water is leaking onto the floor from the shower. There is no carpet, so the floor got wet. Additionally, many tuk-tuk drivers don’t know how to get to the location. The beautiful map provided is not accurate, so it's important to inform them to always take the route from Dharmaraja College Road.

The place isnt necessarily like what is shown in the pictures. Has a bit of a run down-ness to it. Rooms, washrooms, everything was very basic. Not very aesthetically pleasing for the price you pay. For that amount there were other places much more aesthetically pleasing with modern facilities.

- SONIA (2/5): Mauvais expérience qui ne représente pas du tout le Sri Lanka - Nous sommes venus en couple. Bien loin des photos qui donnent littéralement envie cet hôtel est notre première déception du Sri Lanka. Et bien la seule d’ailleurs ! La vue est à couper le souffle l’hôtel est bien positionné dans les hauteurs c’est paisible. Dommage que l’hôtel n’est pas prévu un système pour se protéger des insectes comme des moustiquaires par exemple Gare aux insectes et multiples rampant. Aucun systèmes n’est prévu par l’hôtel pour se protéger de tous les insects rampant gecko…dommage la derrière la baie vitrée est le plus de l’hôtel. Pourtant nous avions une chambre moderne. Mais sans finitions et sans nettoyage. La propreté laisse à désirer. Le service du personnel est totalement non chialant et désintéressé de l’expérience clientèle. Ce qui n’est pas habituel au Sri Lanka qui a un super sens du service. On nous a refusé des plats car prenait trop de temps de préparation nous avons donc opté pour du basic. Nous avons eu une bouteille de coca qui avec un goulot plein d’araignée et de caca de je ne sais quel insecte. Vraiment une déception.

- Krystian (10/5): spectacular views comfy bedroom friendly staff and good value for money - Spectacular view , good value for money , clean comfy bed and bathroom and super friendly and helpful staff, they save our day when they book tuk tuk after when our transport to tran station was cancelled without warning or notification, nice lady from reception called for tuk tuk and it arrived in few min and save our day and we make it to iconic ride on by train from Kandy to Ella - she is our hero ! Thanks again ! To all members of staff! everything was perfect ! especially views ! from room , from restaurant and from lobby !

- Singh (8/5): Overall excellent and peaceful stay. - The hotel rooms that we booked had a great sunrise view from the balcony, the staff were really helpful and all the facilities were available. Food options for vegetarians could be improved. Also during night or rainy season it would be difficult to locate the hotel, since it is a bit inside from main road.

Cleanliness of the place, room's spaciousness and the food was great. The head shower and the handshower was flowing hot water only. Ended up using the bidet shower for a body wash as the water came from both head and handshowers were too hot even to hold the handle. There is no telephone in the room to communicate about a room service order. Need to walk to the lobby and place the order.
