• Amira Zaki (3/5): - The only advantage of this place is its central location, and that’s about it. Unfortunately, my experience at this place was not good at all. The room was not clean, and there were insects, which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very bad, and cleanliness was completely lacking. The noise between rooms was extremely noticeable, making it hard to relax or sleep. The staff were not friendly, which made the stay even less pleasant.

Lähedal asus ahvipark, 700m, tasub külastada.Meie majutuses oli tasuta kohvi ja tee. Dušširuumis oli soe vesi, kliima töötas...magada saime. Selle hinna eest ei tasu nõuda euroopa taset.Oleme kodus harjunud magama tekkidega, natuke harjumatu on ainult linaga magada.

• Tina (5/5): Not nice - Was a room with window to landing. Friendly family run hotel. Very run down rooms and shared bathroom for many rooms. Hated staying there but needed a quick accommodation near the bus stop hence I stayed there. Can't really recommend to any travelers.

He Will take you were you don't want to go drive around without purpose and try to overcharge you for that! i had to seek help from tourist police for his unfairness. Shame on you Property is mediocre, for the money you pay. But they will try to rip you off on "tours":( Also the "owner" sleeps there and using shared bathroom, and walking out naked! • March (7/5): Buena relación-precio - El alojamiento está en pleno centro, a pocos minutos del templo principal. Caminando puedes llegar a todo lo importante. Su anfitrión Saman es amable, también sabe mucho sobre la historia de Sri Lanka y dispuesto a ayudar. Cafe y te gratis todo el dia, y hay un buen lobby para desayunar o leer, sin embargo no hay cocina ni ofrecen comida. Cama cómoda Buena relación-precio para estar en pleno centro La habitación es básica, y algunas mejoras al baño y al suelo de madera (que suena mucho al caminar) serian de hacer que esta algo roto. No se puede abrir la ventana Para par de noches está bien

• HEWA WELLALAGE (3/5): - The bed, mattress and AC are good. There is no privacy. Everything that is said inside the room can be heard and listened to outside. The bathroom is very small and there is not enough space. There are no towel hangers. The hot water heater is very old and does not work. There is no food here. You have to buy it from outside. You have to pay when you enter.

• Encarni (7/5): Estancia perfecta Perahera festival - La ubicación es perfecta,muy cerca de todo. El personal amable, la habitación limpia. Nos ofrecieron un servicio gratuito de medio día dando una vuelta por los alrededores y la verdad que nos encantó el trato y esfuerzo porque todo estuviera bien. Volvería a repetir Las camas están un poco duras.

Offering us coffees and inviting us to his birthday party. Location was ideal, right in centre of town Bathroom could have been in better shape

• Priyanka (6/5): Good place to stay , close to all attractions - The location is perfect, very central. Close to shops& attractions. I stayed there during the kumbal perahera and the festival was right outside the stay approx 50metres away. Clean towels & soap given Good internet. Fan provided. No AC in the room. I didn’t eat food here so can’t review that. Friendly staff The toilet, bathroom and hand basin is squealed into a small spare. The toilet seat and toilet is always wet. Nil toilet paper provided. Very noise all night.

• Suchetha Wijenayake (6/5): Cheap, and worth the price - Place was cheap. Rooms were clean and fairly comfortable. They were willing to let us in at 3am, and the staff were friendly. A better cooling system than stand fans in the rooms would have made things easier. But look, it's a ten-dollar-a-night room. If you're expecting luxury, you may have to increase your budget. It did the job, a cheap place to crash

• Lorenzo (8/5): Comoda tappa per il centro e rapporto qualità prezzo - Il proprietario non aveva comunicato che non sarebbe stato presente al check-in, comunque noi siamo arrivati in serata per le 22 quindi è comprensibile. La stanza è all’interno di un condominio quindi c’è un zona pranzo e giardino in comune oltre che i bagni. Quindi c’è un’attesa per l’uso del bagno e la mattina non era proprio pulito. Comunque c’era il portinaio. Posizione molto strategica. Camera un po’ mal odorante

First room offered had the dimmest light bulb you'll find and three room was very dark. So i asked to move to the next room which had completely dislodged power point. Without working pedestal fan, it was not possible to stay in the room. The next room had working light bulb and pedestal fan. But the chair was broken and very old.

We had great enjoyable time specially with very friendly host mr saman .we got free tea and coffee at anytime .we highly recommend charlton kandy rest for your stay. 10/10 👍

Avant de s’endormir, nous avons fait le tour de la chambre pour vérifier qu’il n’est pas de cafard, après en avoir vu dans les douches et toilette. Le lendemain matin, nous en avons découvert un en plein milieu de notre chambre. Je déconseille.

Due scarafaggi trovati liberi nella stanza. Rumori fino a notte fonda e dalla mattina presto (affacciandosi le camere sul cortile di ingresso appena i dipendenti hanno iniziato a lavorare, e parlare, alle 6.30 del mattino ci siamo per forza svegliati). • Mathieu (3/5): Teleurstellend - De locatie Onze ervaring met deze accommodatie was helaas teleurstellend. De kamer was erg vies en zat vol ongedierten. Er kwamen veel muggen door het open rooster naar binnen. Dit maakte het verblijf niet alleen oncomfortabel, maar ook erg gehorig. Het personeel bleef tot laat op en kletste luidruchtig op het binnenplein, zowel in de avond als in de vroege ochtend, wat voor veel overlast zorgde. We hadden een tour geboekt via de accommodatie en hadden een leuke dag. Ondanks dat de chauffeur 30 minuten te laat aanwezig was. De chauffeur zette ons ook af bij onze nieuwe locatie, wat we erg waardeerden. Echter, toen hij om een fooi vroeg, vond hij het bedrag niet voldoende, ondanks dat we hem vooraf expliciet hadden gevraagd hoeveel fooi hij wilde hebben. Dit zorgde voor een ongemakkelijke situatie. Al met al kunnen we deze accommodatie niet aanraden. Gelukkig was onze nieuwe verblijfplaats, een gezellige homestay, een stuk beter met vriendelijk personeel en schoon.

No glass window, just a grid, so mosquitoes were entering the room during the night. I bought a mosquito repellent (both spray and sthg to put in a plug) but still got bitten.
