• Karen (10/5): - Die gesamte Anlage ist mit Liebe zum Detail erdacht und gestaltet. Die Ausstattung der Apartments ist zweckmäßig und dabei ästhetisch ansprechend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltige Frühstück und die zahlreichen Terrassen. Das Personal und die Betreiberfamilie sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Warmwasser dauert eine halbe Ewigkeit bzw war zu manchen Tageszeiten nicht zu kriegen. Hier bräuchte es eine bessere Lösung.
• Philipp (10/5): - Was für ein tolles Resort. Ruhe pur, schöne saubere Ferienwohnung mit klasse Blick auf die Bucht. Fußweg 10 min zum Strand. Tolles Frühstück, dieses kann man mit auf die eigenen Terrassen nehmen. Es gibt in der Bucht einige tolle Restaurants direkt am Strand. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder die Wohnung im Obergeschoss buchen, es gibt auch welche im unteren Bereich, da fehlt aber der tolle Ausblick, aber auch die Wohnungen sind super herzlich eingerichtet. Super nette Besitzer.

• Gudrun (10/5): Pure Entspannung - Das Appartement war unglaublich sauber und mit sehr vielen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet (Kaffee, Tee, Olivenöl, Strandtuch, tolle Hygieneartikel im Bad,…). Auch das Leitungswasser ist trinkbar aufgrund der Quelle in der Nähe. Das Frühstück besteht aus regionalen Köstlichkeiten mit lokalen Zutaten - es gibt von pikanten Pies über Obst/Kuchen bis hin zu Eiern eine qualitativ hochwertige Vielfalt. Die Aussicht auf den Eingang der Schlucht, den Berg und das Meer ist wunderbar, der Garten und die gesamte Anlage sind mit einem Hang zur Perfektion ausgestattet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem macht die Unterkunft einen professionell geführten Eindruck und schafft den idealen Rahmen für einen entspannten Urlaub. Der Ort Zakros eignet sich wunderbar, um am Hauptplatz in der Snack Bar zu sitzen und dem Dorfleben zuzuschauen. Außerdem gibt es dort einen kleinen Laden, wo man ausgezeichnetes Olivenöl aus der Region kaufen kann. Der Strand in Kato Zakros ist nicht nicht ganz mein Favorit, aber es befinden sich traumhafte Strände in ca. 15 Fahrminuten in der Nähe. Einen Sonnen-Schirm zum Ausleihen für den Strand würde ich mir von der Unterkunft noch wünschen.

• Almut (10/5): Eine tolle Unterkunft!! - Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Appartement, das sehr liebevoll eingerichtet war. Grandios waren auch die Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen, private direkt beim Apartment, aber auch viele schöne Plätze über die ganze Anlage verteilt. Das ganze Resort ist überhaupt unglaublich: Dermaßen detailreich und künstlerisch persönlich vom Vater des Inhabers mit selbstgebauten Möbeln und Kunstwerken gestaltet! Es gibt einen Art Trail, auf dem man sich viele von den Kunstwerken anschauen kann, das ist wirklich sehenswert. Außerdem wird ein sehr leckeres Frühstück angeboten, mit Produkten aus dem eigenen Garten. Der Besitzer und das ganze Team waren wahnsinnig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt rundherum begeistert. Nichts, alles war super.

Les espaces extérieurs sont magnifiques, beaucoup de petits salons aménagés avec vue sur la mer et un jardin parsemé de sculptures originales. C’est artistique, inspirant - on voit d’ailleurs dans l’espace de réception des clients les souvenirs de plein de voyages. Proximité d’une superbe plage (surtout la mer en elle même, des eaux cristallines). Une ambiance de bout du monde, idéal pour la détente. Et un excellent petit-déjeuner ! Il faut aimer le style « chalet de montagne », charme un peu désuet (mais tout de même intérieur cossu). Nous avions une chambre vue mer, il faut noter que celles qui en sont dépourvues sont en bas de la maisonnette et face à un mur). Choix à bien réfléchir donc.

Ein atemberaubender Ausblick, viele versteckte Sitzmöglickeiten, blühende Pflanzen... der Abschied fiel schwer. Es gibt nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.
• wilson (10/5): Exceptional place at the edge of the world - This is an exceptional little hotel in an exceptional setting. The rooms and gardens are beautifully arranged, designed and tended. The very wide ranging breakfast is worldclass. The beach is only a three minute walk away (it looks like more, but it's super quick to get down) and when the wind is low the water is perfect. Be careful to look out for and avoid the turtle nests on the beach in summer. A turtle protector comes and puts sticks and stones round them, but watch out! we were lucky enough to swim with a turtle on our first two mornings. Wonderful place.

Frühstück mit allem was das Herz begehrt und vor allem: Ein erstklassiger Filter-Kaffee! Restaurants am Strand sind nur einen kurzen Fußmarsch entfernt und allesamt empfehlenswert.

Je haalt je ontbijt af bij de receptie en ontbijt dan op jet eigen terras. We hadden een gelijkvloers appartement geboekt, maar dat bleek onder de grond (kelder) te zitten met uitzicht op een muur. Er was slechts in 1 van de twee slaapkamers airconditioning waardoor het in de tweede kamer moeilijk slapen was door de warmte. De keuken in zeer pover ingericht. Het is de bedoeling dat je je eieren zelf kookt en zelf thee zet. Als je echter het fornuis en de waterkoker tegelijk aan zet, springt de elektriciteit. Dit zou niet mogen.

• angela (10/5): - Bellissimo posto ...legna e pietra la fanno da padrona. vista bellissima dalle tante terrazze piene di fiori. La casetta per 4 con 1 bagno è un po ' piccolina però c' è tutto il necessario. Colazione fantastica.

The homemade food, crafted with fresh local ingredients, was truly amazing and added a special touch to the experience. If you're seeking tranquility and a genuine Cretan experience, this is the ideal place to stay.

• Nathan (10/5): We had a most enjoyable stay. - In one word, GREAT! The fantastic isolated location is away from crowds and touristic-commercialized business. It's run by a family, a father and his son, who are most hospitable and generous. I will return to this gem.

• Guillemette (10/5): - La beauté du lieu, la gentillesse du personnel. Même si depuis la chambre familiale il n'y a pas la vue mer, le fait d'avoir accès à toute les terrasses permet d'en profiter. De plus la terrasse de la chambre familiale est très cosy avec sa balancelle et son grand espace aménagé.
