Chambre spacieuse, calme et comfortable avec salle de bain et wc séparés ainsi que petite terrasse privative. Propreté impeccable. Petit déjeuner super. Rooftop avec vue sur la ville et la mer. Et surtout équipe exceptionnelle à la fois accueillante, sympathique, et de bon conseils, toujours souriante. Nous nous sentions comme chez nous. J’allais oublier le massage très pro et très agréable. Rien. Tout était parfait.

• Muriel (10/5): Exceptionnel, havre de paix au milieu de l’agitation de la Médina - Le ryad est magnifique, très propre, et décoré avec soin et raffinement. L’équipe est particulièrement bienveillante et aux petits soins. On se sent très proche des « filles de la maison » , qui sont toutes d’une grande gentillesse et toujours disponibles pour nous conseiller et nous accompagner au mieux pour un séjour réussi . Possibilité de faire hammam et massage, qui sont de grande qualité. Très bon petit déjeuner. Il règne dans ce Ryad une atmosphère tout à fait particulière , une ambiance paisible qui contraste avec l’agitation de la médina. Bons conseils pour les adresses de restaurants et autres lieux de visite. Les chambres sont très spacieuses . Si il y avait un point négatif, le confort du lit , un peu dur à mon goût. Sinon , rien à redire !

• John (10/5): A wonderful place and wonderful hosts - Riad Watier is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Fatiha and Hayat are wonderful hosts, so welcoming, informative, and engaging. Yuda is also quite a character. The rooms and common spaces are lovingly decorated, peaceful, and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The location is perfect, just off one of the main streets and close to the sqala. I really hope to return someday, inshallah.

Apart from a great stay in clean, stylish and comfy rooms we also got transfers to places we needed, a tour and a reservation to the best restaurant in Medina. The place is fully managed by women, which adds respect and proud for this strong, wise and and outstanding girls. My best wishes and regards for this Riad! We couldn't have had a better experience in Essaouira without you, ladies! The only thing I regret is that we've reserved only 1 night for this great place and city. Don't repeat our mistakes!
• Guenther (9/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt in einem schönen, ursprünglichen Riad mit 2 überaus herzlichen Gastgeberinnen - Die Seele und das Herz des Riads sind die beiden Damen Hayat und Fatiha. Sie sind extrem hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend auf eine angenehm herzliche Art, wie man es selten erlebt. Die Lage des Riad ist perfekt, zentral und doch nicht trubelig. Das Frühstück war gut und wird auf/in der wunderschön gelegenen Dachterrasse serviert. Letztere ist eingehaust mit großen, zu öffnenden Fenstern, so daß man auch bei schlechtem Wetter dort sitzen kann. Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt!! nichts!

After spending more than a week in Morocco, this was the first place that truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were lovely, warm, and welcoming throughout my stay. They were the perfect hosts and made the riad feel genuinely comfortable and relaxed. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. It felt like real care had gone into the design, which made the whole place feel special rather than generic. I also really appreciated the fresh carafe of drinking water provided every day. Breakfast was very tasty, and the rooftop seating area was a great place to start the day. The rooftop terrace in general was wonderful, and I spent some very relaxing time there. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay in Essaouira. I would happily come back.

The building and rooms beautifully preserve their original design while being equipped with everything needed for modern comfort. The art pieces, collection items, and paintings on the walls create a truly unique atmosphere. The beds are extremely comfortable. Most importantly, the hospitality of Fatiha and her team is exceptional. From day one, she personally took care of everything - welcoming us and helping us with such warmth that we felt like part of the family. It truly felt as if we were staying in our own family home. Les lieux, en plus d’être magnifiques, était d’une propreté exemplaire. La chambre était vaste et chaque détail est pensé; les couvertures chauffantes, l’eau fraiche, les produits dans la salle de bain, etc. Nous avons aussi eu un soins hammam + massage et nous avons vraiment apprécié. Nous avons plus qu’adoré notre séjour et aurions pris quelques jours de plus dans ce petit paradis !

The decor was very tasteful, and our room was huge, comfortable, and spotless. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast was sensational with lots of delicious choices, all presented beautifully. On top of that, the ladies running the place were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great tips. We can't recommend it enough! The Ryad is nice and airy, super clean, good breakfast, lots of good food recommendations and I loved my first Morroccan Hamman which was inside the property.
• Juliette (10/5): Un petit coin de paradis au coeur de la Médina! - Un magnifique séjour au cœur de la médina d’Essaouira. Le riad est superbe et le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est un vrai délice. Nous n’avons pas eu de chance avec la météo durant notre séjour, mais Hayat et toute l’équipe ont su nous redonner le sourire grâce à leur accueil chaleureux. Nous avons même pu profiter d’un feu de cheminée dans la salle commune, un moment très agréable. Je recommande également le hammam suivi d’un massage : une expérience incroyable. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, et l’équipe a eu la gentillesse de nous fournir un lit bébé, une petite baignoire et une chaise haute — un vrai plus lorsque l’on voyage en famille. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe !

I must say that I have stayed in over 50 hotels and countless guesthouses, yet I have never felt so genuinely welcomed and cared for as we did here. From the very first moment, the warmth and kindness of the staff were exceptional. A very special thank you to Hayat and Fatiha, who made our stay unforgettable. They gifted my wife a complimentary hammam, which she described as one of the best experiences of her life—she even said she had never felt so radiant, not even on her wedding day. I was also given a complimentary massage, which was incredibly relaxing. They invited us to dinner and personally prepared a delicious couscous for us. What touched us deeply was how lovingly they cared for our children, giving us time to relax while the kids enjoyed every moment with them. They also planned our days perfectly, gave us wonderful tips, and even arranged our transport to the airport. Leaving was very difficult—especially for our children, who said: “This feels like home.” A heartfelt thank you—we will definitely come back. إقامتنا هنا كانت رائعة بكل معنى الكلمة – واحدة من أجمل التجارب التي عشناها كعائلة. لقد أقمت في أكثر من 50 فندقًا ومئات بيوت الضيافة، لكنني لم أشعر أبدًا بهذا القدر من الترحيب والاهتمام كما شعرت هنا. منذ اللحظة الأولى كان التعامل مليئًا بالود والاهتمام. شكر خاص جدًا لحياة وفتيحة ، فقد جعلتا إقامتنا لا تُنسى. حصلت زوجتي على حمّام مغربي مجاني، وكانت تجربة مذهلة بالنسبة لها، حتى إنها قالت إنها لم تشعر بهذا الجمال حتى في يوم زفافها. كما حصلت أنا على جلسة مساج مجانية كانت رائعة. حياة دعتنا أيضًا إلى العشاء، حيث تم تحضير كسكس لذيذ جدًا لنا. وأكثر ما أثر فينا هو اهتمامهم الكبير بأطفالنا، حيث اعتنوا بهم ومنحونا وقتًا للاسترخاء، وكان الأطفال سعداء جدًا معهم. كما ساعدونا في تنظيم برنامجنا اليومي وقدّموا لنا نصائح رائعة، بل وقاموا أيضًا بترتيب النقل إلى المطار. كان الوداع صعبًا جدًا، خاصة على أطفالنا .. شكرا من القلب

The whole riad was spotlessly clean and there were lots of lovely communal areas including a roof terrace with sea views and sunbeds. • Robert (10/5): Best place to stay in Essaouira for all the right reasons. - This property is amazing! Beautifully cared for with big, comfortable common areas and terraces. Our room was HUGE with a sitting area and a heated mattress. My wife visited the Hannah and loved it. But the best part by far was the staff. A wonderful group who made everyone feel welcome and treated you like you were family. I have been gone only a day and am already looking forward to my return.

The room was large and comfortable, with a nice seated area (needed, as we had bad weather!). The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the Riad had a very calming atmosphere. Breakfast was in a cosy room on the roof, and was the usual moroccan breakfast: fruit, eggs, bread, yoghurt, olives, spreads. All very nice. We had a hammam and massage in the riad too, which was terrific. I'd definitely return here - the staff were lovely! Nothing!

A sumptuous breakfast was cheerfully served each morning, in the warm and welcoming wooden cabin on the roof terrace. We returned to spotless rooms afterwards! Nothing was ever too much trouble. All the best eateries and places to visit were suggested, including the day trip to explore the locality, which was undertaken in a brand new Mercedes Vito. Very comfortable! Our rooms were wonderfully spacious and the riad was centrally situated. I liked the ethos of sustainability embraced by the hotel. Fantastic! And now it's lovely to have our homes smell of this wonderful riad! (See picure) Nothing!
• KAMIL (10/5): It was truly one of our best experiences, made even more special by the beautiful surroundings of Morocco - Our stay at Riad Watier was truly magical. The quadruple room was perfect for our family a private main bedroom with a comfortable double bed, and a charming mezzanine-style room that our two children absolutely loved. The fireplace and beautiful furnishings created such a warm, special atmosphere. Breakfast in the terrace room was incredible, fresh, generous, and enjoyed with stunning views. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; we genuinely felt like part of the family and the local community. An unforgettable experience we will always remember.

• DeRidder (10/5): More then just a Riad, a Riad with a soul and a true 'chilling' place to stay - This is one of the most beautiful Riad's I've visited. This Riad is more then a place to sleep, it is a real 'gathering'- place, with the most amazing female manager I've ever met. We spend some time sharing ideas and this Riad covers a real 'soul', (also with the cozy big library) .I've really enjoyed my stay there and will certainly come back. On my round trip, this was my preferred stay, and also the one who really represented what was mentioned on booking ! I can really recommend this Riad in the beautiful Essaouira. There should be more places like this ! Morning breakfast on the rooftop was delicious, and each room has it's personal story. And believe me, I also bought the heating blanket for my home bed . We can learn a lot here in Europe from this little paradise ! there was nothing I did not like, except then that I had to leave to go home again :-(
• Yifan (10/5): Perfect in every way - I am a tough customer and I did my fair share of traveling. But I cannot fault this property in anyway. Our twin room was spacious and quiet with a small terrace overlooking the garden. We only stayed for 2 days but we were treated like family. From restaurant recommendations to assistance with laundry, everything is one would hope for while traveling. The hotel has very fast WiFi and we had no issues streaming. Nothing

The furnishings and finishings throughout the property are artistically curated and luxurious. Very lovely. Viewing the sunrise on the roof was spectacular. I could hear running water from the unit above me (running toilet, I think)

The hospitality from Hayat and Fatiya was exceptional with great local recommendations, lovely teas served and fires set in our room. I enjoyed the breakfasts, and the location of the Riad. • Carol (10/5): Superb hospitality in a lovely Ryad - Ryad Watier was very special. Our rooms were spacious and cosy, breakfasts were generous and tasty and the location is very central in the medina. Hayat and Fatiha were wonderful hosts and provided excellent local knowledge with recommendations for activities, restaurants and travel. We especially appreciated the evening fires, pots of teas and the warm hospitality. Nothing negative - all good.

• Ewald57 (10/5): Ein top Riad, sauber und zentral in der Altstadt gelegen. - Das Frühstück am Rooftop ist ein Traum. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben viele Tipp's für Ausflüge bzw. Besichtigungen. Die Zimmer werden sehr geflegt. Der Besitzer ist auch aussergewöhnlich freundlich und hilft sogar beim Frühstück-Service. Wir waren zum 2.mal hier. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

• Eléonore (10/5): An absolute must, I couldn't recommend it more! - Couldn't recommend this stay any more! Absolutely gorgeous Riad that smelt absolutely heavenly. The staff was so kind and forthcoming, they really took the time to welcome us and gave us excellent recommendations of things to do. They were so hospitable and we felt right at home! They were so helpful and accommodating with our late arrival and early departure as well. The location was ideal; it was so central and easy to access everything we needed. Our room was so gorgeously decorated and clean, and our beds had even been heated when we arrived. Breakfast on the roof everyday was delicious. and we had the most amazing massages in the spa! If you come to Essaouria, definitely stay here!
• BH (10/5): Beautiful Riad, warm hospitality - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ryad Watier - the property is beautiful, decorated throughout with interesting art works and extremely well maintained. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the Medina. A feature of Ryad Watier was the friendliness of the staff - a particular shout out goes to Fatiyah and Hayat, who could not have been more hospitable and friendly. We also really enjoyed meeting Jean-Gabriel who took time to have some very interesting conversations with us and other guests. Our room was great - very large and well equipped. All in all, a great experience - we'd be happy to stay at Ryad Watier if we get the chance to visit Essaouira again and we'd be happy to recommend it to anyone who else who does. Nothing negative to report - all good
