- Helga (10/5): Nice cosy hotel with value about 20Euros per night - On the 26th April 2025 Saturday afternoon, I went round Accra, looking for Peckan hotel's address at Nii Torgbor Avenue, East Legon Accra and I couldnt find the Str called Nii Torgbor avenue. I rang their mobile phone and it rang throughout with no answer. I got a bike man to take me round East Legon which we did and nobody knew where Pekan Hotel Accra was. We asked several people and not even one person knew Pekan Hotel. I decided to get into a big Restaurant to surf for another Hotels.com location and address, now getting to the evening hour. I found Joh Ann Western Guest House Accra on the platform. It says Mokwe Street Accra near Junction Mall Accra. Again, it was not an easy search. We decided to use google search and Sat nav to find it. After several trys, We found the hotels signboard very far from its location. Genuinely, we followed the signboard, which was their good guidance. At every 3minutes, you will see Joh Ann Western signboard guiding with an arrow. We followed the signboards, until we got to Joh Ann Western Guest House Hotel, Accra. The name of the street was not known. But the good thing was the constant guidance with the Joh Ann Western Guest House Hotel's signboards that leads to the Hotel. At last, around 8pm on 26th April 2025, I got into the hotel premises with a friend who helped me find the hotel. It was all a hectic search, But I eventually found your Hotels.com hotel to lodge and stay for a night as my booking states from 26th April 2025 to next day
- Stella (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ingrid (3/5): It was the worst experience I’ve had since traveling. - Some of the staff were helpful, man at front desk, gateman and the cook. The facility gave my rooms away, in addition staff was confused upon my arrival. I was informed by the facility that in the future with large bookings it is my responsibility to call and say that I am coming at least a week earlier. I did not know that this was a requirement. However, I had called a couple days ahead because I had a group of 23 and needed 13 rooms, which was reserved way in advance and I wanted to make sure that they were aware of our late arrival, as the airline informed me of a flight delay. Also they did not accept my credit card. I had to go and get money exchanged. After my 27 hour travel our group was split up and I had to pay taxis to get to another hotel.
- Frank (6/5): - Quite area
- Jess (8/5): Great option as a base for East Legon! Comfy, convenient & friendly - Great service, nice comfy room, was able to get coffee at 5:30am, good location to explore East Legon area from, friendly staff, nice communal-ish lounge areas/couches, good A/C
- Kenneth (8/5): Very nice area friendly staff needed much touches - The location was great 👍 plus the staff very caring The roos need much modern
- Olasunkanmi (10/5): Mr Harry is of help and is friendly - The breakfast is ok Their room doors and parlors door should be refinish
- walter Terry (6/5): a SHAME, of Housekeeping - The rooms were spacious, bed, was comfortable.
The bathroom was functional, BUT the floor needed A GOOD BLEACHING. WAS VERY DISAPOINTINNG
- Florin (8/5): - It's ok
- Stephen (1/5): Bad -
- Gregory (7/5): a very value for money experience considering the current financial situation in Ghana. - comfortable and spacious . nothing really
- Dr (7/5): Good -
- Mr (10/5): If I could, I would take Pekan and its people with me to London. - The staff and management are exceedingly warm welcoming and hospitable. They made it a most pleasant home away from home experience. It's a great first life experience of going to Ghana. Nothing.
- Okemena (8/5): Very good - I will discuss it with the Staffs there. They are my people.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel, the room was very clean. They served the breakfast in room. Very nice. The bathroom was less clean that the room, but no problem. The hotel Is not so near ti the city center
- Kassim (8/5): Passable - L’hôtel à besoin de réservation major
- Matthew (4/5): - The staff were not accommodating. We asked for a towel per guest, but they didn't give us them. We had to share a towel. Poor wi-fi. We had rooms booked for later in our stay but canceled and stayed at another hotel where the service, rooms and accommodations were much more welcoming and sufficient.
- Jojo (8/5): Short Stay - Had booked this place for a night given location and review. Reception was good and generally pleasant place to stay. We wish the beds were 2 twins for 2 non-couple adults; also some little flexibility with the breakfast items. Otherwise good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel is amazing value in a smart residential area.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Durftig an allem - Ich musste das Hotel nach zwei Tagen verlassen, weil es unerträglich war, dort zu bleiben. Es is noch schlimmer, wenn es auch Strom fehlt.
- Nana William (6/5): Ghana December Visit - I came to Ghana to work on my documentary and chose this hotel for convenience purposes. The location is great as there are nearby restaurants and the neighborhood is quite pleasing with all the new homes. The staff is excellent and they made sure you were welcomed properly. Also, breakfast was served on time and you were notified prior to being served. The grounds of the hotel are excellent and unfortunately, I was unable to try out the pool. The hotel had a wedding reception while there and it was quite amazing and joyous. The only drawback of the hotel is that they should update a few things, i.e. flooring, lighting and change furniture. But overall, I had a very enjoyable stay a Pekan Hotel.
- Randy (6/5): Relaxing - I was good, no problems and close to the area I needed.
