Das Frühstück war super, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat auch noch unsere Fragen zu unserer Reise beantwortet (John o‘Groats Wanderung) Es war etwas warm im Zimmer, die Fenster gingen nicht auf. Ansonsten war es tip top😊

• Anna Maria (1/5): I do not recommend! - We were very disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the room was freezing cold, and we were told to use a small portable heater instead of proper heating. The shower in our original room was blocked and unusable, and although this was not our fault, we were moved to a different room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was a clear downgrade. We booked and paid for a large double room with a four-poster bed, but were moved to a smaller standard room. The new room was also much noisier — we could hear conversations, water running in other rooms, and people walking on the stairs. Both rooms were very cold, and we had to use the small heater again. Additionally, the host was irritated when we asked for help and was not welcoming or helpful. Breakfast was also disappointing, including a pancake that appeared stale. After the stay, the property refused any refund despite clear evidence that we received a lower standard room than what we paid for. Overall, this was not the experience we expected, especially for the price paid.

• Andrew (10/5): Outstanding value for money, brilliant location and service beyond service! - Everything was excellent. The period building from 1868 was outstanding, the location, the breakfast, but most importantly I met the owners Andrea and Grant who have now become my friends:). I thought they had an automatic door on arrival, but Andrea opened the door and said you must be........ After that short welcome, I felt like royalty! Leaving!

Hosts were friendly and very accommodating especially during these strange times. Breakfast choices were excellent, well prepared and delivered quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble. There was parking if I needed but didn’t. Close to City a short walk. Plenty of local information in room to look at if required. My only very small niggle was that room and especially en suite shower room could do with a refresh and update. I would stay again tho as it was very clean and comfortable and also practical for myself.

• John (10/5): Happy Highlander - Ideally situated in a quiet leafy suburb, but within quick and easy walking distance to the city centre. The host provided a warm and welcoming reception. The accommodation is well-appointed throughout and is very clean and comfortable. Excellent parking available on site. I felt during and after my stay that this was a very lucky find and at a very reasonable price for city accommodation. Choices at breakfast were impressive and the food was of avery high quality. Highly recommended.
• James (10/5): Wonderful stay and friendly! - We stayed two nights as we passed through Inverness on a two week Scotland tour (self driving). The house itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean, tidy and very inviting. Well worth it! Staff was tremendously friendly and more than willing to either have a friendly chat or provide you a bit of privacy as desired. Extra efforts to provide guests with a full understanding of not only the area but also all the options of mini-trips/excursions with recommendations was very helpful as our plans changed last minute. Location is great as it's only a 5-10 minute walk to city centre and is also very easy to drive to. The on-site, private parking was also handy. Well worth it and the comfort let you rest and recover from a very active day to go out and do it all over again. Breakfasts were delicious!

We were made very welcome and although we had to leave at 7.30 am, we still had a cooked breakfast made for us even though breakfast did not really start until 8am. Plenty of off road parking. easy walk into town.

Good parking area which is important to us as we have quite a big car. We were welcomed by the owner and showed to our delightful room. The B&B is quite central. An easy walk into the centre and an even easier walk to the canal. A truly wonderful breakfast made from local produce. The owner even makes up her own tea bags (to suit the local water) and the tea of lovely – a measure of how much care and thought the owners put into their business. We highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Inverness
