• Anne (10/5): Excellent accommodation, would stay again - Everything was perfect. Nothing to complain about. There are only 3 separated units at location, each apartment has 4 or 5 (do not remember exactly) bedrooms, two bathrooms, the sitting room with TV and very spacious kitchen/dining area. Only one master bedroom has panoramic views with kangaroos. Units are surrounded by forest. Shops are far away, so it is better to bring your grocery with you. all was good

• Blake (1/5): cold and disappointing stay - the location and the views were nice, and the architecture was interesting i didn’t like paying over $500 to be cold for a night because the heating was faulty. i didn’t like that the stove was damaged, and the injury my partner sustained from trying to turn it off. i didn’t like the way management refused to take any accountability for the issues with the place. i feel scammed and very upset at how awful the experience was

• HUIWEN WANG (10/5): A very comfortable and relaxing stay in a well-equipped, modern home, perfect for a family getaway. - Breakfast was self-catered, and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing our own meals. The location was quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and conveniently located for visiting the Twelve Apostles. The only minor issue was that the signage for the final 300 metres leading to the property could be clearer. Google Maps indicated that we had arrived, but we initially had difficulty locating the entrance. We were eventually able to find it after contacting the staff, who were very helpful.

• Jes (8/5): Very good - Greeted by some wonderful Australian natives and enjoyed talking to the kookaburras. The home was very, very large. There wasn't a coffee table or place to set up for an evening cheeseboard. Outside would have been great, but it was alas a tad wet.

• Nandlall (10/5): Phenomenal place, location & views! - This place was amazing!! I booked it super last minute (the day before literally) and it was the only place available for the long weekend. We’re visiting from Toronto for work but didn’t realize it was a holiday here! Nonetheless, we thought the rate was a bit extreme but since it was the only available place we did it without doing any research. Boy are we SO GLAD it worked out that way. Our stay was probably the highlight of our 3 weeks stay in Australia. This lodge has ocean views, kangaroos AND koalas! the sunrise with kangaroos was STUNNING. We found it busier with the kangaroos during sunset most. The place is huge, so well done. Everything honestly…. Was jaw dropping. We LOVED it. And though it was a random fluke that we booked this place, it was the best fluke of our whole trip to Australia!! We’re from Canada so seeing a giant Spider inside gave us the crawls so we had a hard time sleeping but if you’re used to it, there’s nothing bad about this place!

• Justine (10/5): Incredible - Incredible location and beautiful flat, surrounded by kangaroos. The windows offer great views while location has a lot of privacy. The place is stunning, loved the bath as well! Good value for money in my opinion especially compared to other places at similar prices

But only providing 6 coffee pods was a disappointing. We had 8 staying and no supermarket before Warrnambool or Colac wasn’t that easy to go and purchase more .

• Sally (7/5): Stunning property in a lovely location - We loved being up close to the kangaroos around the property. No air conditioning and poor ventilation for very hot weather. We stayed during a heat wave and found it very uncomfortable.

Waking up to Kangaroos outside our window, having a beautiful bath at the end of every day. More than enough room for 6-8 people to have their own space and nicely come together too. No sugar, salt or pepper so make sure to bring your own!! This really caught us out.

• Jnk (8/5): - We chose this place to have a secluded stay experience. There were 5 of us. The huge long house is very spacious and well equipped, full kitchen, washer, dryers, extra pillows and blankets. The bed was good but pillows were too flat for us. Hot water supply were good. Breakfast were included but too basic for the price, with just chilled croissant, yogurt & jam, milk & juice. It would be great to have some eggs & avocados available. Do your groceries shopping at Torquay or Apollo Bay before you arrive if you intend to cook. We drove from Geelong and all the eateries were closed at 4ish by the time we arrived at Wattle Hill except for a small kiosk where we managed to get the last remaining pies for dinner. There were plenty of kangaroos outside the lodge and wallabies around, just be careful of their poops in the field. We even witnessed two male kangaroos fighting which was very amazing to watch. There is no ocean view if you are expecting one from the website. However, the peaceful and luxurious lodge made up for that. Wonderful experience!

Huge house that fits up to 8 people. Supermodern kitchen and facilities. Wonderful hosts that take care of you. 25 min. drive to the 12 apostels and to the Cape Otway lighthouse. Otway National Park nearby.
• the archis (10/5): Beautiful building in beautiful setting. - The architecture of the building is uncommon and beautifully resolved. The accomodation is engaging and relaxing. We were all rejuvenated by the experience. And fabulous for a group of people.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Sehr ruhige Lage, nahe der Great Ocean Road - Tolle Lodge mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 2 großen, schönen Bädern inkl. Waschmaschine, einer riesigen vollausgestatteten Küche, schönen Wohnräumen, Terrasse, im Garten hüpfen die Kängurus vorbei. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Küche war nicht überall 100% sauber (teilweise leicht klebrige Griffe), aber das war nicht weiter gravierend. Zu den 12 Aposteln fährt man max. 15 Minuten. Vor der Ankunft in einer größeren Stadt Lebensmittel einkaufe, da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten rund um die Lodge eingeschränkt sind. Wir gehen sicher wieder dahin!

• Siu Fan (10/5): Best luxury lodge of our stay - This is really a fantastic lodge for us. We have been travelled around the world and this is the first memorable luxury lodge for our stay. With tailored Lodge Manage for the courtesy explanation on the lodge facilities. Superior design on the lodge, perfect kitchen and room facilities. Private BBQ site for family party. Although the location is a bit difficult to find, however, we will definitly introcing this lodge to our friends and family in Hong Kong.
