• Christos (10/5): - Ολα ήταν καταπληκτικά. Τα παιδιά που δούλευαν εκεί (Francesca, Rodrigo, Ben, Agnelso) ήταν επαγγελματίες και μας κάνανε να νιώσουμε όλους πολύ οικεία. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα για solo travelers.

It was cleaned daily, the beds were comfy with curtains, you have access to two lockers for your belongings, and the location is phenomenal for local food and nightlife. The events that were hosted daily were always the best part of the day! The drinking games were so much fun, as were all the volunteers and staff: Klaudia, Ben, Martini, Sabrina, Fede.. the list goes on. kitchen was a bit small, but most people in the hostel were not cooking so it wasn't a big problem

Special thanks to Martini for being a great host and shoutout to Bree 🔥 Ventilation in the dorm room could be better, and the matras could be a little bit softer, but that might be personal preference. Their was an aircon in the room, but it was not turned on, but maybe thats something you just need to arrange with your roommates.

• Deimantas (10/5): - Honestly, one of the best stays during my long trip, showers were big and nice, beds comfortable and the fellow guests were amazing - activities plentiful! Rob was always keeping everyone in the crowd involved, and Mauro made me immediatelly welcome in the hostel! Really recommend this place, one of the best hostels in Budapest and maybe in Europe!

• Nicolas (10/5): Amazing days in Budapest - I had a great stay at Onefam! The atmosphere is very social and welcoming, perfect for meeting other travelers. I especially want to highlight two staff members who made my experience even better. Damian, the bartender, is incredibly friendly and creates a really fun vibe at the bar. He makes everyone feel comfortable and keeps the energy going. Federico was also amazing—super kind, helpful, and always in a good mood. He really goes out of his way to make sure guests have a great time. Thanks to them, my stay was even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this hostel!

• Nino (10/5): Would stay in Onefam again and again and again😊 wish to improve the facilities just a little🫶 - Amazing staff. Very friendly, helpful and communicative😊 Love the activities. Felt like home😄 If you are a solo-traveler and want to have fun, this is the best hostel you can stay in Budapest. Trust me I have searched for many, and stayed in 2 others also. Even the facilities are not that fancy, you don’t need it to create incredible memories😄 Just things would be good if they improve. I am mentioning it cuz I booked the hostel almost the day before arriving, don’t know the regular price and it didn’t cost cheaper compering to other fancy hostels around. 1. In the bathroom there is only cold water. So if you wash your face daily, it is pretty uncomfortable to wash it with cold water in cold weather. 2. In the bathroom while taking shower its like you can not take shower just for the body, you will need to wash hair all the time so it is also uncomfortable🙈 3. Location is great. Near to everything. But since it is exactly in the city center, everything around (cafes, restorants, supermarkets) is so expensive and overpriced🙈😄

Le attività organizzate sono il massimo per socializzare: walking tour, drinking games, serate in locali. Un ringraziamento a Filippo, un volontario italiano: trovarlo è stata una fortuna, la sua accoglienza e simpatia hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Consigliatissimo!

• Damiano (10/5): Posizione eccezionale, ottimo staff - Ottimo ostello sociale, si riesce facilmente a fare amicizia e si respira aria da festa. La mattina e il pomeriggio puoi girare la città con i tuoi compagni di stanza, la sera si organizzano eventi e giochi per stringere nuove amicizie e la notte si esce tutti insieme per i pub della città, con i principali a pochi passi dall'ostello. Ricordate che si tratta di un party hostel quindi saranno normali alcuni rumori extra la notte, se andate a dormire presto il dormitorio condiviso non fa per voi, per il resto dipende dalla fortuna di chi vi ritrovate in camera. Lo staff ti accompagna in tutto ciò con gentilezza simpatia e professionalità, sono rimasto 5 notti ed ho avuto modo di interagire con la maggior parte di loro. In particolare ringrazio Filippo con il quale ho potuto scambiare 2 parole in italiano ogni tanto e che ci ha portato alla migliore serata all'instant per ballare la techno. Oltre a lui un grazie anche a Pietra, Anneta,Damian, Rodrigo, Dorovan e Jenna per tutte le serate passate in compagnia, continuate così!

Düzenlenen etkinlikler hem çok eğlenceliydi hem de insanları bir araya getirecek şekilde düşünülmüştü, bu sayede çok kolay arkadaş edindim. Ortam çok sıcak ve enerjikti. Te hacen sentir como en casa, son unas personas increíbles y hacen que tus días en Budapest sean 1000 veces mejor y más divertidos. Simplemente los mejores. La ubicación es increíble, cerca de todo. Al lado de la gran sinagoga. El ambiente es increíble con actividades cada noche. Simplemente el mejor hostel de todo Budapest.
• claudio (10/5): Second fam - È stato il mio primo viaggio in solitaria, ma in questo ostello non mi sono mai sentito davvero solo. L’ambiente è accogliente, gli altri ospiti e tutto lo staff si sono dimostrati premurosi e disponibili fin dal primo momento. Una menzione speciale va a Davide, un collaboratore che mi ha accolto con grande naturalezza e professionalità, facendomi sentire subito a mio agio. La sua presenza ha contribuito in modo significativo a rendere piacevole il mio soggiorno e ha rappresentato un valore aggiunto alla mia esperienza a Budapest e alla mia prima volta in ostello. Un’esperienza che porterò con me molto volentieri.
• Callum (10/5): Great hostel in a perfect location, no issues at all - I would recommend anyone to visit Onefam Budapest! The staff are lovely and we went on some great day trips and nights out around the city. The location is also perfect if you want to experience the city and the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. P.S. Mara was the best volunteer- not biased at all!

• Daniel (7/5): social hostel in a great location! - great location, good kitchen facility available, comfortable beds and large lockers underbed. staff helpful when required shower area and individual showers quite small. appreciate staff enthusiasm for social events organised but coming into room without knocking a bit over the top...
• PAULINE (7/5): Moyen - L'hostel est très bien situé, dans le centre de Budapest, tout se fait à pied . Il y a de nombreux restaurants, bars et shops à proximité. L'arrêt de bus pour l'aéroport est à 5 min. Métro, tram et bus à proximité. La chambre est équipée d'un "tiroir locker" par personne, pratique pour y mettre son bagage. Il faut cependant avoir son propre cadenas (ou en payer un à l'accueil). J'avais froid pour dormir, j'ai pu avoir une couette supplémentaire et sans frais (ça semble évident mais bon, ce n'est pas le cas partout). J'ai loué une serviette de bain, 3€. Le jour du départ, il est possible de laisser son bagage dans une salle sécurisée, sans limite de temps. De façon générale, tout est propre. Les sanitaires semblent nettoyés régulièrement. Les serviettes pour les mains changées par les volontaires plusieurs fois par jour, c'est appréciable. Il y a du savon pour les mains de disponible. Il y a une petite cuisine avec micro-onde, frigo, plaques de cuisson, poêle, casseroles, assiettes, etc. Le bar est aussi l'endroit où il est possible de s'asseoir pour manger à table. Je n'y ai pas participé mais l'hostel propose des activités telles que visites de la ville en journée, jeux à boire le soir et sorties nocturnes... Je recommande pour la localisation de l'hostel. Cependant, prévoyez du temps après votre séjour pour dormir et récupérer des mauvaises nuits passées ici. Hostel dans lequel il est impossible de se reposer. Les réveils nocturnes par les gens trop bourrés ont lieu toutes les nuits, et plusieurs fois par nuit. Il semblerait que ce qui motive la vie de cet établissement, ce sont les beuveries. J'avais froid dans la chambre parce qu'il y avait de l'air qui passait par la fenêtre à côté de laquelle je dormais. Une grande armoire a été placée devant l'unique radiateur de la chambre. Il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans la chambre, de fait, des diffuseurs de parfums étaient branchés dans la chambre (toxiques et entêtants). Amélioration pour l'établissement : Étant donné le nombre de chambres, il serait possible d'en proposer des non mixtes. Du papier toilette de meilleure qualité ne serait pas un luxe. L'oreiller mériterait d'être changé.

• Eva Cruz (8/5): - Es buena locación, muchos restaurantes cerca y es fácil moverse. Limpio el espacio y siempre hay alguien en recepción. Siempre me he quedado con one fam en otras zonas, pero en esta los voluntarios no fueron tan integradores como en otros lo que he estado, habían unos más amables y yo que iba viajando sola me hubiera gustado que me incluyeran más. Solo recuerdo a Rodrigo, de Argentina que me saludaba de ahi el resto me reservaría. Es un ambiente muy fiestero pero deberían hablar más y no solo con algunos cuantos :)

• Nicole (10/5): - This is one of the best hostels that I’ve stayed at. The location is amazing, the facilities are clean and the staff are so welcoming. This is a great place to stay for solo travelers as there are many activities offered daily - ranging from sight seeing, city walks, boat parties, drinking games and bar crawls so it is really easy to meet people. Shoutout to the awesome volunteers who were all so much fun. Special mention to Axel who was incredibly kind, helpful and went the extra mile to make sure I had the best time - really made my trip memorable. Would highly recommend.
