Guest Reviews
- Panitra (6/5): - Wifi did not work at all.
- Joseph (4/5): - No Wi-Fi for 4 out of 5 days. Hot water went out and had to engage Expedia to get it resolved. Staff unavailable and non communicative. Will never stay there again.
- Sophie (8/5): - This property is very 'no frills' and we did not see a person working there. However, check-in and check-out was no problem and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very basic in terms of supplies and not enough toilet paper!
- ANTHONY (10/5): - Close to center
- Xin (8/5): - They don’t Understand English. And they charge 7.5 euro I didn’t see in Expedia price list. Good location safe and kinda ok
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice and clean accomodation.
It is well located and within 10 minutes of walking in the heart of the city.
Easy to find and close to Metrostation Museo or Piazza Cavour.
Check-in is simple and even a late night arrival (1am) was arranged and went off well.
The place provides every amenity you need for a short stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Posizione molto comoda.
Pulito, spazioso colazione giusta!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This is not a hotel so don’t go expecting services. No staff on arrival but keys left in envelope on desk. One member of staff serving continental breakfast on a tray in room. Only advantage is close proximity to Musuem of Archaeology five minutes walk away.
- Lisa (10/5): Central spot - cheap & cheerful - No-one to gteet us upon check in - key left at Reception. This was very organised but missed that 'personal' touch
Not the nicest of areas at night but very central
Breakfast was satisfying and the lady who cleaned our rooms very helpful, despite her lack of english.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Esperienza da non rifare. Doccia fredda per 5 giorni. Proprietari assenti.
- Olivier (8/5): One night in Napoli - Arrived later in the evening all was organised for my check-in. Breakfast was served by friendly staff only stayed one night only thing rather early checkout at 10am, neighbourhood a little on the rougher side convenientaly locates close to metro.
- lisbet (6/5): Value for money - Nice clean hotel with basic necessities, quite and with good location.
- Tom (8/5): Excellent base to explore the area - This hotel is clean and comfortable, with very friendly staff, and forms an excellent base from which to explore Naples. It’s barely a minute walk to Piazza Cavour and Museo tube stations. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (8/5): good base hotel - The hotel itself was clean and well presented- although would deffo advise google maps beforehand as it is hard to pinpoint hotel from the street. Staff were friendly and helpful but if you are looking for a hotel where staff are constant and you require a lot of assistance I would not advise as usually staff would be present on a morning and then you were left to your own devices.
- Michelle (8/5): Will return here on my next trip to Napoli. - Alessandro, the host, was very attentive and helpful in answering all our questions and getting us around town. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory. They bring it directly to your room, which is nice.
We arrived after their regular business hours, but after dialing in to have the front door open, our keys were waiting for us with out a problem.
If you are going with big luggage be for warned the elevator is tiny and you might need to do a few trips. There is a small fee for the elevator, like 20 cents. That is because the apartments are set in a building shared with other businesses.
Great little spot, very fair for the price.
Not a far walk to the main part of the city for shopping and eats.
Metro entrance is literally right across the street.
- Rustom (2/5): Terrible experience in multiple ways - Not hot water first night and no apology for it. Room takes forever to heat and the climate control remote was faulty and very difficult to operate; a real struggle to get raise the temperature. The place is on the second floor and you have to pay (20 cents each time) to use the elevator, which is something I have never seen in all my travels of over 61 countries. Its not just that charging for elevator use is wrong, but the very idea that each time a guest has to have the exact amount in change is absurd. Breakfast is just croissants and coffee and you have to have it in your own room at a fixed time as they are unwilling to allocate or provide a room to have breakfast. There are just too many negative things in this place that make a guest's visit extremely uncomfortable. Pretty much the only thing they have that's good is their location, but really its not worth suffering so much discomfort on one's vacation, as there are many other places available in Naples within that price range $60 - $65 per night.
- Micheal (8/5): Surprised - The area is very hipster and close to Bellini square but fringes on ghetto .... The exterior of the building worried me at first but when you get to the B&B it's a nice AFFORDABLE surprise ... And I think the mattress was temperpedic ;0)
- Roberto (8/5): Recomendable, cerca del metro. - Todo Bien. Recomendable.
- Peter (8/5): Rent, centralt, ok frukost.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Skuffet over beliggenhet og manglende resepsjonist ved ankomst.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Driving to get to hote, nightmare - Parking is rough.
- Excelente B&B. A localização facilita muito . Limpeza Excelente . Muito organizados .
- Fanta (10/5): Nice clean room, close to subway station. - We really enjoyed our stay at Maison du la Metro, the room were very clean and beautiful. We felt safe at the building, and lastly we really like the fact that the location is 2 to 3 minutes walking to 2 main subway stations.
- Jo (6/5): Great place and location, but missing staff - The apartments are really nice, very modern, new and bright. Great location. Not impressed with staff. The B&B is hard to find as it's just an apartment in a regular building. We got lost so we called a few times and it seemed like the line was not connected (!). When we got there, we buzzed and no one responded. We had to wait until someone left the building to get in. A lady came out in a rush and just handed over the key and a letter. That was check in!!!! Another disappointing factor was that I asked (and paid extra) for a room with a view of the city but instead got a room with a view of a construction site!! Really disappointing. Don't expect much for breakfast -- it's just a coffee and a few croissants (and cereal without milk... or a bowl...), and you can't get it before 8am. All that being said, it's perfectly located and if you're just looking for a place to crash, this might be it, but I'm sure you could find something more attentive for a similar price.
- Irina (10/5): hotel of the future - This is truly hotel of the future: extremely clean, everything is new and functional, contemporary design, private, quiet in the middle of the city, there are only very few rooms, breakfast delivered to your room at your preferred time. Practically you do not see the stuff: you do everything on your own, nobody bothers you. It's almost like in sci-fi movie. I loved it this way!
