• Lidia (10/5): I would highly recommend this place!! - As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sonia, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. She made us feel comfortable right away and was always happy to assist with anything we needed. The location was amazing —within walking distance of the main attractions and easily accessible by bus. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with enough variety to start the day well.

Recomendo para quem procura um hotel simples, mas limpo e bem localizado no centro do Funchal. O pequeno-almoço não era mau, contudo poderia ser mais variado. De resto, nada a apontar
• beatriz (10/5): un hôtel au top - L'hôtel est idéalement situé en plein coeur de Funchal. Il est très facile de se déplacer à pied pour les visites, ou même de prendre le bus. L'accueil a été très chaleureux, nous avons eu de très bons conseils pour profiter de l'ïle pendant notre séjour. L'hôtel est propre, les chambres sont confortables, le petit déjeuner copieux.. nous n'avons manqué de rien. Merci encore pour l'accueil. Ce fut une très belle expérience.

• Julie (9/5): Perfect location for a short stay in Funchal - Location is perfect, right in the centre and within walking distance of all major attractions. Lady on reception very helpful organising a taxi to the airport for us. Although breakfast was basic, it was freshly prepared, good quality and plentiful. Although the room weas clean and comfortable there was no view.

• Dorothea (9/5): Schönes, kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage mit sehr freundlich Personal.  - Die Lage ist sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir konnten unseren Mietwagen direkt in der Parkgarage gegenüber günstig unterstellen. Toller Service der Unterkunft.

Absolut zentrale Lage Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel, da der Vorhang meist geschlossen bleiben musste, wegen Einblicken der Bewohner des gegenüberliegenden Gebäudes. Der Balkon war wertlos für uns.

• Rowena (8/5): Great location, simple room and breakfast, lovely staff - perfect base for exploring Madeira! - Excellent location, central without being noisy! Breakfast was fine - nothing fancy but a good spread of cold options and just what we needed. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was bigger than we expected and even had a kettle! The offering of wine and cake as a welcome gift was much appreciated. Nothing really! This was exactly what we expected for how much we spent on it. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and the surrounding area.

Estacionamento pago do outro lado da estrada para nós foi imprescindível porque estacionar naquela zona é dificílimo! Pequeno almoço bom e variado o suficiente. Excelente relação qualidade preço. • Ian (9/5): Great place to stay. - The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The location is just a few minutes walk from the seafront and harbour and the majority of the places to see in Funchal city. Our flight was late evening and they allowed us to leave the luggage until we transferred to the airport. The room was spotless and cleaned every two days. There are some very good restaurants within a five minute walk. Not a lot to dislike, the weather? Not the hotels fault!

La "check in" am avut un mic cadou (vin+desert). Încălzire se putea face cu aerul condiționat . În baie am avut chiar și cârpa de șters pantofi, ce era de ajutor dupa drumeții. Deși camera era amplasată către stradă, nu am fost deranjat de zgomotul de afară. La 10 minute de mers pe jos de la Mercado dos Lavradores sau Supermarket, 8 min de la Parcare ieftină (5 euro/noapte) -

Abbiamo ritenuto ottima anche la posizione dell'albergo dato che,in 5 minuti a piedi,eri al centro di Funchal e sul lungomare. Nello stesso tempo,però,abbiamo dormito tranquillamente perché questo piccolo albergo si trova in una zona tranquilla di Funchal. Ricca la colazione. L' unico aspetto negativo del Sao Francisco Accomodation è che non sempre è presente del personale alla reception per cui,se hai bisogno di qualcosa non sai come fare.D'altra parte,al momento della presenza,il personale si è dimostrato veramente squisito.

• Agnieszka (10/5): Highly recommended for all - It’s located in the middle of Funchal, close to all restaurants, museums and promenade. Room and bathroom was very clean, hair dryer, soap smells nice 😉 . Staff really helpful and friendly! Fresh breakfast with cheese, ham ,eggs, cereals , veg and fruit selection (maybe not huge selection, but they were enough and what’s more important fresh!!) Nothing, if we will be coming back to Madeira we will choose this apartment again!
• Joanne (9/5): Perfect accommodation in old town Funchal 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Friendly staff with great English ✅️ Exceptionally clean ✅️ Perfect central location ✅️ Plentiful breakfast choices ✅️ If you're looking for a place to stay in Funchal where your accommodation is predominantly to use as a base, you really can't go wrong. Especially liked the welcome Madiera wine & cake in the room and that due to an early checkout, we were left a breakfast in our room the night before. The bed was comfy, shower powerful and room of a generous size. The whole building is exceptionally clean and all the staff wonderful. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Woken early to the noise of young children, I imagine from the adjacent building but that's no fault of the accommodation and we planned to get up early anyway! Only thing I'd add would be to add a bin to the bedroom and supply tiny cartons of milk for the tea!
• Cornelis Olaf (9/5): Het was een heel prettig verblijf. - Gunstige ligging in het centrum van Funchal. 250m Lopen van de boulevard. Voor mij alles op loopafstand en gemakkelijk per taxi (Bolt) te bereiken. Het ontbijt was dagelijks compleet, vers en voldoende. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
