- Benjamin (7/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Large room with kitchen Expensive
- NURDIANIWATI DIAH (7/5): The hotel is located near old town where there plenty of good restaurants. that's the plus of it. - Breakfast was nothing special for me. Not enough healthy choice. Too many sweet taste, not enough savoury. The shower is not senior friendly. Again, it is too dangerous for old people. It's a modern shower, the shower is far away from the hand handle, and the tiles are flat no foot prevention. It's slippery for showering.
- Alison (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here. Super clean, friendly staff and complimentary breakfast every morning. Walkable to Old Town shops and dining.
- Darrell (10/5): - Staff was very accommodating and friendly! Easy walk to everything in Old Town
- Michael (10/5): - Great place
- Paul (10/5): - Great stay. Super friendly staff!
- NURDIANIWATI DIAH (9/5): It’s convenient because it’s not far from cafesand restaurant. - It’s convenient located The shower bathroom.
Not safe enough for elderly people.
- Isolda (10/5): - I love how they were accommodating and attentive
- Anoop Joshi (9/5): - Nice, comfortable rooms
- Martin R (3/5): Overbioked! - Muy buena opcion! Estaba overbooked y nos mandaron a otro hotel
- Anthony (10/5): Stay here - Great quiet location close to the freeway. The hotel is very classy and I highly recommend if you’re staying in the Pasadena area stay here. The breakfast is more than enough of what you need.
- Jamal (10/5): -
- Janice (3/5): It was very disappointing, I was there with my family, and this whole thing was very tiring for them, the breakfast was - I love the location, and the outdoor amenities, and the convenience
Of the kitchen in the rooms, and the comfortable bed and living area The air didn’t work, and I remembered last year when I stayed at this property it didn’t work, I phoned ahead of time to see if it was working and the staff said yes, and the hot water in the shower didn’t work well at all. And I had a difficult time checking in, it took over 45 minutes to get checked in because the system didn’t show that it was paid in advance, and then they found it.
- Alberto (4/5): - When Marriott never told by anticipation the change ,I arrive they cancel my room and send to another MARRIOTT The rooom was smaller and without kitchen no pool and rhey say that We have to move to First Hotel to take brekfast
Alberto
- Amy (10/5): - Great stay, convenient location for catching the Rise Bowl shuttle. Pool needs some surface work, but still refreshing.
- Kelly (8/5): - Convenient for the event. Quaint places to eat nearby. Safe clean location.
- Theresa (10/5): - We came here for a music festival. This hotel was very convenient to Rose Bowl shuttle bus just across the street. It had great variety for breakfast and location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Will stay here again.
- 27travel (10/5): Stay at this place if you're in Pasadena, CA. - What a wonderful Hotel. The people behind the the check in desk were the BEST! The rooms was great only problem the shower is a little small but it's not the employees fault. Every person that worked at the hotel were amazing. The place is in the right location. Will be staying there again.
- Alise (10/5): - The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the property was very clean. We had a very spacious room and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and pool.
- Jim (2/5): - Upon arrival they indicated our reservation was cancelled due to the LA fires in Jan. The hotel was full due to all of the locals staying there. It took about 45 minutes with some very tuff conversations with the manager before they gave us a room. We were in town for the AC/DC CONCERT and had flown in from Oregon. Very disappointed, very stressful situation. Someone needs to follow up from Expedia and understand why it happened and notify us.
- Jason (2/5): - I didn't like when the property cancelled my reservation two weeks before I was scheduled to arrive when they likely knew that it would be cancelled months prior to actually notifying me
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- pamela (10/5): - The rooms are so nice and so close to all of the things!
The rooms right off of the pool/hot tub are 👌
- Echezona (10/5): - Great stay. Wonderful staff. You just have to pay for parking daily. Besides that, everything was perfect
- James Thorrot (8/5): - We were there right after the huge Eaton fire, the smell of smoke was everywhere still, the pool and hot tub was shut down,It would be unfair for me to be too judgmental given the circumstances. The breakfast was very good.
- Amschell55 (6/5): Basic, Noisy, Meh…. - Not exactly what I expected. Let me start by saying the staff at the hotel have been nice and responsive. Below are pros/cons:
Pros: Location is great. Near old town and close to freeway. Breakfast isn’t luxurious, but sufficient for a snack. Pretty basic offerings. Onsite gym and laundry are a nice touch. Decent kitchenette and full size fridge.
Cons: Do not get a room near the low 200’s if it’s facing their outdoor patio. I literally have zero privacy in my room. I have to choose between a dark dungeon like room or having strangers lounging right outside my window watching my every move. Somehow the hotel has also decided to play music on this patio. So, you’ve got background noise until 10 pm. Walls are paper thin. Unfortunately, my neighbor loved blasting their TV until midnight. Still haven’t figured out the weird smell in my bathroom. It’s like something died inside the recessed lighting or someone nearby is smoking. The parking is a challenge. Limited spots and narrow driving space.
I came to this hotel because the Westin down the street was sold out. I’m sad to say I’m headed back to the Westin. It’s not perfect either, but has less inconveniences. Its biggest flaw is the parking.
Again, the Residence Inn isn’t awful….its just not great either.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel needs a lot of work - Room not clean, A/C broken, Hot Tub not working, Ice-maker broken, shower drips loudly. Hotel not able or willing to fix anything.
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olanrewaju (10/5): Wonderful staff and facility - Everything was perfect Nothing
- U2381OKjasono (2/5): No Parking - Wow, this hotel looks better than them. The rest of the hotels in the area I have to question why they don't have enough parking for the people that pay they to stay at this place. So now I have to check out of the room and relocate to another hotel because I have nowhere to park my vehicle.Limited parking can create significant inconvenience for guests. Ensuring adequate parking availability is crucial for a positive guest experience. Hotels should explore options to address parking limitations. This might include partnerships with nearby parking facilities or valet services. Prioritizing guest convenience is essential for maintaining a positive reputation.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (8/5): Pasadena Business - Hotel was used for business trip. Old Pasadena is a very nice area with plentiful restaurants and nice ambience.
Hotel was nice
- Berenice (10/5): - Amazing place to stay. Rooms were a great size and didn’t feel crowded.
- Deven (10/5): - This property was nice and clean!
- Khristine (10/5): - The property was under renovation otherwise it would’ve been perfect
- Renee (10/5): - Perfect
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (10/5): Surprisingly wonderful - Surprisingly wonderful stay, our first at a Residence Inn. Such clean rooms and public areas, in stock ongoing remodeling. Polite and respectful staff. Breakfast was exceptional.
- Pj (6/5): Ok - Location $25/day parking. Elevator is very far from room.
- Aliki (3/5): Extremely disappointed by poor management - The hotel is centrally located in Old Pasadena and it's easy to walk to all the bars, restaurants and shops.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great! We were not told that the gym would be closed. If we'd known, we would have booked another hotel. On our third day, the cleaners came in and threw away some of our personal stuff, including notes that our daughter had made for her homework and left on the bedside table. We told staff at Reception and they couldn't care less. That was shocking. Breakfast was not great. They use individually wrapped plastic cutlery, and most choices are unhealthy and tasteless. Worst of all, the hotel charged us even though we had prepaid our room. Who knows how long it will take to get our money back...
- Gianna (8/5): - All was wonderful except the shower did not have hot water but cold ..
This was really not convenient or great !! Was refunded the 35 for parking so that was good . The room was really nice . The area right around hotel seemed a tad sketchy but not exactly unsafe . The parking underground seemed odd but what can u do in city? Didn’t get to see the pool and jacuzzi area but I’m sure it was nice and other amenities
- Verified traveler (6/5): Won’t stay here again. - Thermometer didn’t work in the room. Called front desk and they just said ok and they’d check on it. No one ever came to check on it. Air conditioning wouldn’t turn off and nights were chilly. Next day told them again at front desk and they said they’d send someone. Again no one came. Asked for extra blankets. Housekeeping actually did provide those.
- Arlene (10/5): - I really liked this place. It is undergoing renovation so I know it could have been better.
- Jon (8/5): Very good - Rooms were really nice! The stupid metal posts outside the main entrance that you have to run into when pulling up to reservations.. right in the walkway that are painted white instead of yellow.. hazard alert! How many guests have crashed into them or walked Right into them! Sorry, parking sucks!
- William (1/5): I was sent to another hotels. This was unacceptable - NS I was moved to the Marriott Coutyyard across the steer because they said they were full. I reserved well in advance. This is not what I paid for. I was ripped off and deceived and should get a full refund.
- Flyboy154 (10/5): Exceptional - lobby smelled good.. smelled fresh self parkin was a bit expensive
- Campbell (9/5): Superb -
- Joli (10/5): Excellent staff, facilities and location - Location, room size, outside area, breakfast
- Christy (8/5): Very good -
- destiny (10/5): - Loved the hotel so peaceful and the room was perfect
- ALBALUCIA (10/5): - Good location.pet friendly. Beautiful studio
- Thelma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherry (10/5): Next trip to Pasadena, I will choose Marriott again - Breakfast was great and so was the location. Nothing
- Kristine (9/5): Superb - Great staff Cold breakfast
- mary (10/5): - Wonderful safe walkable area with lots of shopping and restaurants.
Love Residence Inn and the space in the room and full sized fridge
- Lydia (10/5): - The location in Old Town Pasadena was convenient and beautiful.
- F6580PWmeganp (2/5): Never EVER stay here - Do you enjoy overheating in a room with windows that barely open and no working air conditioning? Do you enjoy paying $35 a night for parking? Do you enjoy the sounds of the freeway and people yelling outside? And lastly do you enjoy having to wait to check-in till 4pm in the afternoon?
Then I have the hotel for you!
Welcome to the Residence Inn Pasadena where the hotel staff are friendly but the services are abysmal at best. Where you can get emails (that look like scams) letting you know on the day of your stay that the AC is broken in your room! When you choose to arrive at the hotel you are greeted warmly by reception staff that let you know that your AC is truly broken and that they are doing their very best to fix it *insert sad emoji here*. In return for already being inconvenienced and blindsided you get ✨free parking✨ and ✨10% off✨ because we care about your comfort and stay. Now proceed upstairs to your rooms where they give you a sad little box fan and the world’s smallest (and cheapest) portable AC unit. Now sit back and relax while you roast inside your fish bowl.
What’s this? You wish to change rooms?
Of course right this way let’s get you to your new (smaller and cheaper) room you didn’t pay for and enjoy AC again! Yayyyyy!
Oh no the AC broke in this new room a whole 5 HOURS later!?!?!
Well let’s get you to another room, and so on and so on
You can enjoy being hopscotched from room to room, with little to no forgiveness from the hotel, and lackluster care from a company and corporation that really could not care less about your stay.
If you want to actually enjoy your time in Pasadena I would stay far far FAR away from this hotel. You would have a much better time sleeping in a Motel 6 than here.
Heed the recent reviews and never stay here. Higher prices don’t always mean better accommodations
- Lynn (8/5): - The a/c is still out! A portable is in the room with a hose leading out the window. On the freeway side so a bit noisier, but that becomes background noise.
- letzie2024 (10/5): Will Definitely be Returning Next Time I am in Pasadena - This hotel is fantastic—staying at the Residence Inn right in the heart of Old Town Pasadena is unbeatable! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the location is perfect. If you're looking for an excellent location, a reputable brand, and great service, I highly recommend this hotel.
- mgstein (8/5): Rooms are fine but don’t expect any amenities. - We have stayed at this hotel frequently when visiting our son’s family. The hotel itself is fine but the parking cost is ridiculously expensive at $35/day when you can park at a municipal lot a block away for $12/day. But the real problem is the breakfast. It is meager and unhealthy. Breakfast during the week goes to 9 am but in three weekdays, I never saw any fresh fruit other than oranges. There had clearly been some cut up fruit previously but it was obviously gone before 8 am and not replenished. The same was true on the weekend. The difference between the weekday and weekend breakfast was that on the weekend, they put out the waffle makers. Why they didn’t have them available during the week is a mystery to me. And if you’re a tea drinker, bring your own tea bags.
- chrishC2082OG (10/5): Great Stay! - I had a great stay at the Residence Inn in Pasadena by Old Town this month (August 2024). The staff was friendly the accommodations were well appointed and the location for both my work and to access the great food and social scenes is perfect. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel as a spot for business or families looking for a little more room to spread out over a longer vacation.
- Dream32900965678 (10/5): Excellent hotel in Pasadena. Great location! - Great stay in a fantastic location. Super friendly staff. Couldn't ask for a better location for a hotel in Pasadena. Rooms were super comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be closer to Colorado St and that's the best location in Pasadena.
- N2270KAkyliet (10/5): Friendly staff, would definitely return! - Great price point for what you get! I know they had some AC issues but they have been resolved and the air conditioning was working great when my husband and I stayed there last week. Friendly and accommodating staff as well-- I would definitely return next time I'm in the area.
- pmraleigh (10/5): Highly Recommend!! - I had a fantastic stay at Residence Inn Pasadena. The service was top notch and the rooms are spacious and comfy, a perfect home base for any visit. The hotel’s location also has easy access to the restaurants and shopping on Colorado St, making it incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!
- GoPlaces262538 (10/5): All that you need in old town Pasadena - This hotel is great - a Residence Inn right in the hear of Old Town Pasadena can't be beat! The staff is accommodating, the hotel feel welcoming, and the location is amazing. I see alot of reviews complaining about the air conditioning, but we didn't have issues. I recommend this hotel if you want a superior location, a great brand and nice service.
- Sandra (7/5): I would return to this area. - Location was easily accessible to freeways as I had several appointments in the area during my stay. Many good restaurants nearby. Safe area for walking. Air conditioning was not functional during my stay. I was too tired after a long drive to change hotels. The hotel offered a discount due to the problem however as of this writing the discount has not made it to my credit card for my prepaid room. The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant.
- Maii (2/5): - Upon booking they did not disclose that the ac is broken , felt like a trap , the staff at the front desk were unhelpful
We asked for a fan or change the room or something and they ignored us
It was a miserable stay
At the end they did discount the rate a little but just for the staff at the front desk , I would not go there again
- Anna (2/5): Extremely dissppointing. - We arrived at 3 and they told us the AC didn’t work and we could either have a portable AC unit or cancel the stay “free of charge” it was 93 degrees out We cancelled the stay and had to go to another hotel and have a very different room. They said they sent an email but made no effort to call!
- Mohammed (1/5): Bad -
- Mohammed (1/5): Bad -
- Elaine (10/5): Awesome - Clean and close to everything Not able to check in early . Wish they have more menu for the breakfast
- Hans (1/5): Avoid this place like the plague. - When I arrived just before midnight I was told that the air conditioning wasn’t working… in any of the rooms. No other solution was offered but to cancel my reservation and they “wouldn’t charge me cancellation fees.” Seriously? What an absolute disaster in client services.
- Laura (1/5): Bad - Air conditioning was not working and we could not stay there, nothing to do but get in the car and drive away
- Randeep Singh (4/5): - Breakfast was covered in the stay but was not up to the mark as we had in other Marriotts. Most of the time food was not refilled. Even though we waited for 15 mins. Someone spilled Coffee big time and we reported at reception as no staff was in the breakfast. No one came for 10 mins to clean this. This was on Sunday 8 AM.
- ericahV889YB (2/5): I straight up felt betrayed - We booked our stay a few months ago as we were planning on staying here for a few days for a concert in early August.
The morning of our arrival we had received an email that the AC had broke and asked if we would like to cancel. In our mindset we figured, maybe it just suddenly broke this morning and maybe would be fixed the day of or the next day during our trip so we figured we would still go. It is also rather difficult to find a new place to stay as this was Thurs-Sun we would be staying and most of the surrounding areas were super expensive or fully booked. When we got to the hotel they acknowledged once more that the AC was broken and that they could offer us a fan and free parking to accommodate. When we got to our room, we figured as Vegas natives it wouldn't be that bad but it was really THAT bad. On top of the humidity the room was sitting at what felt like 85/90 degrees when the sun is down. We figured we could tough it out over the night as we were exhausted from our trip. The following day, it was still extremely hot. I noticed in the morning service men were making their way upstairs, so it was confirming my assumption that the AC being down was something that happened super recently and being addressed immediately. We went back out to go shopping in the surrounding area, it was like 80 degrees outside but super bearable to walk around. When we got back the room was so ridiculously hot, way hotter than what it was when walking outside. We were hopeful that the AC might have been fixed or there would be answers for it being fixed within the next few hours.. we reached out to the front desk but it seems they were not sure when this would be fixed (fair enough) and they had no room to move us to a better room. Supposedly the AC was broken down only in specific rooms but some were still up and running. They did mention they had portable ACs (I wished this was mentioned to us first as an option instead of the fan that did nothing). But when asking about that, they said they only had 37... and had no more left. We were a bit disappointed but of course as this is out of the staff's control, we were just trying our best with the situation. My boyfriend was curious and checked out the reviews...
this is that plot twist moment in the movies where I just felt absolutely played and disrespected. Turns out from the reviews that this AC situation has been happening for a longggg time. We for sure regret not looking at the reviews closely when booking. It's not the staffs fault once again, but for Marriott to let these rooms be open for booking when this is an ongoing situation that's been reported for over a few months is wild. For them to only give us notice the morning of our arrival is also wild. The likely hood for people who do not make a lot of money to cancel and find a new place on the fly is so difficult, I can't even imagine if people had children or a larger party to plan their trips with. Luckily we live in Vegas so we decided to just leave a day early and just tough out the 4 hour drive back immediately after our concert. It was nice of them to let us know the AC was broken and it was our choice, but to let us know the morning of, when this is a KNOWN issue way before our arrival just felt sneaky and weird. If the AC was broken the night before our arrival or the morning of, for sure it made sense and it would have been something my boyfriend and I would accept. But this is not okay. Stop trying to fully book this place when 90 of the rooms do not have AC and there are only 37 portable AC units.. That is straight up cruel man.
We are more than lucky to have lived in a neighboring state and had gotten a discount with our rooms but to think of other guests who do not have the choice of finding another place to stay or to go back home easily... it just sucks.
Once again, for sure not the staffs fault, and it seems like they felt extremely sorry about the situation... my review is directed to whoever makes the decision to try to still sell these rooms/make them available and not order enough portable ACs with these frequent AC outages...
Imagining people who bring their small children or animals or even elderly people... these are not living conditions.
To sell these rooms at full price is also just plain weird.
- Lingyun (2/5): - The room is next to high way. It is noisy all day long. The even worst thing is the air conditioning is not working, we have to open the window to exchange the air flow. We raised the concern to the front desk. The answer was : It is OK! Shouldn’t I say it rather than the receptionist???
The room needs to be strictly checked out at 12:00pm. The door key is immediately disabled after that. We have to make sure one person is in room to keep the door open while moving our stuff to the car. I had good experience in other resident Inn before. This is completely opposite!!! Not recommended it at all!
- Gavin (2/5): - I had stayed at this hotel many times previously, but first time since 2020. Marriott has really let this hotel go. At check-in I was told they were giving me an ADA room to give me "more space." I asked if there was any reason I wouldn't want it, and he said "no, everything is the same, just the furniture is reconfigured to give more space." Well, when I took a shower shortly after I found a big problem - the accessible shower was designed so poorly that the water flooded the whole bathroom up to the toilet area (VERY narrow shower and the ADA seats/rails take up most of the area. And there is no curb to stop the water flow). Really uncomfortable for those without ADA needs. Then I realized that the AC was faulty and couldn't get very cool (it was a warm night). So I called down to ask if I could move to a regular room. And that's when the clerk admitted he lied to me about the room - he said the real reason he gave me that room was because all the other available rooms have completely broken ACs. Plus the spa was closed/broken the 3 days I was there, and I was told it had been out of order "for a while." That's an amenity that was part of the draw in booking this place - disappointing that they didn't disclose this fact. So clearly Marriott isn't performing the necessary maintenance to make this property worth visiting. I don't see myself coming back here.
- Jonathan (2/5): - The ac broke
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property’s air conditioning was down so I was allowed to cancel, but I was not notified by the hotel, nor Hotels.com until several hours after I arrived in attempt to check in.
- Maria (4/5): - No a/c , very hot
- Maria (6/5): - Air conditioners not working, got a room which I wanted ,then air conditioner stop working.
- Sheridan (5/5): Nice place, hot room, felt like a lasagna in the oven - People were nice, rooms were spacious Our ac didn’t work and therefore I left with no moisture in my body since I was sweating the whole time
- Selsie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (5/5): Passable -
- Fabricio (8/5): Very good -
- Jin (6/5): - I have to say AC UNIT was broken and it was hot. We did not get notify until i got there leaving me no choices.
- vanessa (10/5): Great hotel for families - Great stay. Kitchen was a big plus. I will definitely stay here again
- Jesus (2/5): - My ac unit didn’t work the entire stay . So they sent me two portable fans . It was super hot and we were sweating !!!!!
- Demi (2/5): unfortunately unpleasant - I enjoy staying at Marriot properties but this time it was very unpleasant. The A/C didn’t work in the room, said something to the front desk at 11 am after the first night. Was told the ac wasn’t working in some of the rooms. Wasn’t offered a different room, was told a fan or portable ac would be brought to the room while we were out. That didn’t happen. When I called and asked, I was told the windows open. This would be nice if it was 72 and breezy outside, but it was 100 outside and our room was facing the sun. We got back the second night at 2 am and the room was disgustingly hot. We used the fans they brought to the room to try and pool cold air in from the hallway, we opened the windows but the freeway noise was pretty loud even for 2 am so we shut the windows. Property is beautiful and in a good location. Our stay was unpleasant because of how hot the room got. Sleep at night was extremely uncomfortable.
- Denny (10/5): - Clean rooms. Breakfast options was very good. Only thing is parking fee is extra and it comes with in and out privileges.
- Arian (9/5): Superb -
- Janice (10/5): My stay would’ve been great if the AC was working but other than that it was awesome - I loved all the amenities, the breakfast was great a nice selection for the entire family. The only issue was the Air Conditioning system was not working, but the staff was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable otherwise. I loved the facility and the location it was very clean, will definitely consider coming back and recommending it to others. Also it would be nice if they let you know about the deposit during the reservations process instead of informing you once you get to the hotel. It’s a little misleading to say all taxes and fees are included and then you get there and there’s more fees to be paid. Other than that everything else was great I loved the space and all the amenities and the staff all were great
- Tamika (4/5): - The heavier set lady at the desk was very rude and not helpful at all. Also, prior to checking in it should’ve been mentioned that the ac had went down in all of the rooms😘. I think for the amount of money you’re spending you accommodate the guest or give a discount . The room was entirely to hot and uncomfortable all day and night
- Daydream625146 (2/5): Don’t stay here! - Won’t ever stay here again! Arrived a little after 4 pm and was told they were still cleaning the rooms. Half hour later receptionist said a room was ready. I had reserved a one bedroom suite. She told me the only 1 bedrooms suite’s available either had the AC broken (they would bring up a fan) or they had a roll in shower!!! As I read other reviews I now realize the issue with the AC appears to be an on-going one. Southern CA in the summer, without AC is not acceptable. Roll in showers are not meant to be used by someone standing, taking a normal shower! They flood. The floor is very smooth making them incredibly slippery. I told her for close to $500/ night those options were unacceptable. If all they had were rooms without AC or rooms with a roll in shower they should at least discount them. She said no. I then asked to talk to a manager. Manager was very rude and kept saying she could switch me to a studio. I told her three times that we had three adults and a baby and needed the extra space of a suite. She showed no interest in finding a better solution. She finally discounted the room but I would have preferred to have a functional room! When we got to the room there was no linens for the sofa bed. I had to ask three times before any were sent up! It was 8:30 pm before we finally got them. Sofa cushions were torn and dirty. Sofa bed was horrible - thin, springs easily felt. The hot tub was closed “for maintenance” the entire stay. Pool then also closed “ for maintenance”. We were there 5 days/4 nights and our room was never cleaned. We were told to put trash in the hall and it would be picked up. It was, but of course everyone was doing that so there was a hallway of trash! Ugh. Finally, the last day at about 4:30 pm a housekeeper came by. We had been out all day and needed to shower and relax before heading out for dinner. We were checking out early the next morning so passed on having her come in to clean. We had to use extra towels to keep the roll in shower from flooding the bathroom and when we asked the house keeper for towels she said she could not give them to us because our room wasn’t scheduled for cleaning - we would have to ask at front desk. Front desk, housekeeping, phones were never answered. Had to always run down to desk. Breakfast mediocre. I travel frequently and have rarely stayed at a hotel this poorly managed and maintained (AC, pools, etc).
- Michael (8/5): Pasadena visit - We have stayed at this hotel previously on a number of occasions. In the last 6 months it seems that the furnishings and the interior is not as well maintained. The people there are friendly and the breakfast is fair. Honestly their current policy of cleaning room after 4 days of stay is not adequate.
- Diane (8/5): Perfect choice for traveling with pets - Breakfast was a nice variety, and a little different each day. Pool , laundry, and gym centrally located.
