Luisa (10/5): Consigliato - Tutto. Tutti molto gentili e solari, la struttura è molto bella, la camera era comoda e con colori “marini” e il letto era comodo. Siamo arrivati ore prima del check in, abbiamo chiesto se potevamo lasciare solo le valigie per poter girare in macchina senza rischio che ce le rubassero..oltre ad averci fatto fare il check in quando siamo arrivati, ci hanno fatto fare un giro della struttura, di cui ci siamo innamorati, per cui abbiamo deciso di rimanere nel resort. Ci sono cyclette, piscina idromassaggio, ristorante per pranzo e cena, lettini, spiaggia privata e trabocco privato..non potevamo chiedere di meglio. La struttura è costituita da casette-alloggi bianchi, e sembrava di trovarsi a Santorini. Si può chiedere di essere portati in giro per la struttura sulle loro golf car (ad ex per persone con ridotta mobilità). La spiaggia è di roccia; si possono usare dei materassini per sdraiarcisi. Si possono comprare le scarpette al bar. La stanza aveva tutto il necessario: letto comodo, frigo, cassaforte, armadio, shampoo/docciaschiuma/balsamo/crema corpo oltre ad altri prodotti per il bagno. Pulizia ottima. Noi alloggiavamo sopra la sala della colazione ed avevamo un terrazzino con vista sul trabocco, sul resort, con tavolino e sedie…l’ho adorato. C’è anche una sala soggiorno all’inizio del corridoio, per ritrovi di gruppi numerosi o per relax al di fuori della camera. Colazione fenomenale. C’era tantissima scelta (torte, muffin, pancake, waffle, macarons morbidi, brioches, muesli, yogurt, frutta fresca e secca, salumi, formaggi e uova). In più si può chiedere qualcosa da bere dalla caffetteria. Abbiamo cenato ed era tutto squisito. Il menù è prevalentemente a base di pesce, ma avevano anche opzioni vegetariane (risotto tartufo e noci, gnocchi cacio e ovo, contorni, frutta, dolci). Come ubicazione é vicina a Vasto e alla costa dei trabocchi. La strada per scendere alla struttura è quasi in verticale e fa parte di quelle strade mono corsia ma per a doppio senso di marcia. Parcheggio a spina di pesce sempre un po’ obliquato. Detto questo, ci siamo mossi senza problemi. Solo non siamo granché abituati a queste strade.

Ottima la qualità anche dei pasti. La camera singola è veramente singola. Letto da una piazza e doccia piccolina per chi non soffre di claustrofobia. Ma la pulizia e l'ordine fanno soprassedere a questa unica pecca.

Ildikó (10/5): - The staff was very helpful and kind. I have gluten and lactose intolerance and once they learned it, acted immediately and I was able to eat very delicious food each day. I loved the beach. The location is very private no crowds perfect for relaxation. It is only a suggestion from me: You might consider to share with the foreigners the programs in Vasto. It is a great town, each evening there was something happening but we learned it when we got there. Would be nice to have an information about these at the hotel to be able to decide if you would like to participate on those. :)

Rachel (10/5): Beautiful place - The resort is gorgeous and the staff are so kind and accommodating. The rooms are so spacious and the rooftop terrace above each room was a very nice surprise. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The beach is a pebble beach, so definitely recommend bringing water shoes, but it’s so beautiful. I think the nightly rate with the breakfast included is a fair value. However, the restaurants (lunch and dinner) are way overpriced.

Jane (9/5): Lovely peaceful beach setting - Double sea view room has very comfortable large bed, plentiful supply of lovely toiletries, two chairs and a table on the balcony to sit and enjoy the beautiful view (and the sunrise if you are an early riser!) Lovely peaceful beach setting with a good and reasonably priced beach bar managed by a very friendly and helpful lady. Sunbed lawn would be better without hedge as this blocks view of and breeze from the sea - although our sunbeds (room 18) had the best location with a view and a breeze, so we were very happy! Beach shoes definitely needed on the pebbly beach, although it is quite a steep incline into the sea so we only swam once. Preferred the small but fabulous jacuzzi swimming pool! Excellent breakfast buffet with eggs prepared fresh to order and particularly good omelettes. Restaurant food is superb and dinner includes a welcome glass of prosecco and a small savoury appetiser. We ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Ask the staff to book a table for lunch at Trabocco Cungarelle. If you don't want to drive it is possible to walk along the green cycle/pedestrian path along the coast from the hotel (about 3 km each way). There are only four taxis in Vasto, so make sure you ask the hotel to book a taxi in advance both ways if you want to eat dinner in the town and don't want to drive. If you are flying from Pescara airport it is worth knowing that there is an excellent restaurant on the first floor of the airport. Air conditioning only activates at 23° and it is impossible to lower the temperature. We found this setting too high as we prefer a cooler room. Bathroom light motion sensor is located too near the door so when light goes off it can’t be reactivated from the far side of the bathroom. The hotel is quite difficult to find and we kept missing the small turning. Signs on both sides of the road would help in locating it.

Eben (10/5): Excellent resort with super service. Highly recommended - We really liked our stay at the Baia Delphis resort and were very pleased to have extended the stay. The staff are outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. The location is down a small track and directly on a pebbled beach. The food is lovely and different every day. They were also happy to create special requests for the kids who often wanted something simpler. The junior suites are super with a rooftop terrace and small garden and a view of the bay. You have your own loungers that are numbered for your room and also a floating bean bag for the sea. We will be coming back for sure. We would love to see a kettle in the room and some tea and coffee. Maybe also an iron. The coast is beautiful and it would have been nice to have had access to an SUP or kayak to visit the Trabocchi that run all along the coast. Finally a few board games or table tennis etc would be fun for the evening.

Olga (10/5): Amazing small private resort perfect for couples - Honestly, it's one of the best resorts we've been to until now. The personnel is extremely nice and helpful. The suite was amazing: spacious, clean, with private terrace and jacuzzi (for a reasonable extra price), and with the roof terrace offering a beautiful view. It's not at all overcrowded so it's perfect for a romatic getaway (we stayed in September but even in high season seeing the number of available suites/rooms it would remain quite intimate). The private lounge chairs at the beach with a table and an umbrella assigned to each room is a great idea: you completely avoid the big resorts' problem where people get up early to "book" a spot and then disappear. The "beach" itself (more like a big meadow) is very clean and pleasant. The beach bar open until 7PM was appreciated. The entrance to the sea is rocky but I had the special shoes and they also sell such shoes at the resort; otherwise, you enter the sea quite easily, and it doesn't become deep right away. Finally, the restaurant was also great, each meal we ate was delicious, and with an amazing sea view. As a general impression, it was a really great stay, so no complaints. As a minor detail, the swimming pool was very cold. It was the middle of September so it's understandable (even though the days were actually very hot), but it was much colder than the sea itself. And as an even smaller detail, while the breakfast was excellent, the tea that was served was Twinings tea bags : I'm not particularly picky but it just did not correspond to the general high level of all the provided services :)

Tessa (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful spot - great last few days of our vacation close to Vasto - The property is very private, on a pretty section of stony beach, also with a lovely pool. The rooms and shared facilities are very well designed, and the rooftop terraces really lovely. Whilst the restaurant is expensive, the food is extremely good and the menu varied. The staff are extremely friendly, speak very good English, and happy to help over pretty much everything, making this a very special stay. There was no mention in advance, but we were able to hire bikes at the hotel and cycle for miles along the coast on an excellent cycle track, also into Vasto, which was great. The old town of Vasto is also beautiful and lively - well worth a visit We found this place hard to find - it could be better signposted from the main road and on the website. Also we hadn't expected it to be so far from the old town and nature reserve, neither of which are easy to reach due to major roads separating them from the area of the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent, although for some reason the hotel is still preventing guests from serving themselves, which seemed unnecessary and it would be much better without this

Jamie (10/5): Our best stay in Italy, by far! - This resort was by far one of the best resorts my family stayed at in Italy while we were there we stayed at 3 different places and this place was able to get us whatever we wanted at any time they helped us with language barriers made phone calls for us set up transportation 2 and from the hotel and also helped us with booking a charter because I couldn't speak fluid Italian. The staff was beyond helpful always asking us if we needed anything and everything was as what the pictures were showing online and we were over delighted Honestly there was not much that we did not love about this resort. The rooms were clean the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that I would add, and only because I am not European, was the availability of an ice bucket and ice for our room., This is only because I, my self, am used to having ice with my drinks. So not a complaint just a suggestion.

Staying longer the Junior Suites are excellent it has it’s own small garden & outdoor roof top balcony. A small clothes drying rack would be great.

LYNDEN (8/5): Great but not without its shortcomings - My wife and I generally enjoyed our three nights at this resort however a few aspects were disappointing. Unlike other reviewers we had no trouble locating the resort although the narrow entry tunnel (refer to the image) is somewhat of a challenge and not for the faint hearted especially in a full size vehicle! Check in led by Agostino was seamless and informative - I was very impressed that after passing the security gate an always friendly and helpful Valero in a golf buggy immediately greeted us and assisted with our bags straight from our car and directed us to the nearby reception entry. Within moments of arrival, we were then transported to our room where our luggage was already waiting. The Villa/room being a junior suite was immaculately presented and reasonably spacious and included a small sheltered garden area and fabulous rooftop terrace. We were however disappointed with the modest small bathroom and micro sized shower as well as the absence in the room of bathrobes and a coffee machine or even a kettle. The facilities and public areas are beautifully maintained notably the garden although the pool was ridiculously cold and would be enhanced by some heating. Breakfast was a delight both in presentation and variety and includes eggs (any way) by order at no additional cost. The quality of the food and superb service especially by Giuseppe and Nicola was again excellent at dinner. By far my biggest gripe was the absence of any reliable wifi

Nicola (10/5): Beautiful small hotel - an oasis - Wonderful hotel - its small but the family suite was perfect for 4 people with a sitting area and two bedrooms. The pool is small but as there are not that many users it is perfect. The hotel has a private beach. Its a pebble beach but they provide floats to go on the sea. The restaurant is very expensive for the area which was a bit of a shame - although Vasto is lovely with plenty of places to eat.

Pip (10/5): Relaxing holiday - The hotel is in an excellent location if you want a totally relaxing holiday. It is out of town and therefore the location doesn't offer any where to go unless you want to drive. The staff are very attentive and helpful. Our room had fabulous views over the complex but the shower was very small. We were offered a different room with a larger shower for a small supplement but the "free wifi in every room" didn't reach this suite so we declined the offer. The restaurant has a very limited menu which didn't change over the two weeks we were staying except a couple of additions on two days. This is the hotels weak point. We had a relaxing holiday and enjoyed it very much even with these small problems. We did note that most guests only stay 2/3 days at most .
