Guest Reviews
- Steven (10/5): - Nice Place, no complants.
- sandra (10/5): - The property was charming, we felt like we were home when I walked in. It was Inviting, comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. The host that we had the pleasure of meeting was very personable and friendly. He gave us a lot of good information about the sights and the entertainment available, along with all best dining establishments which included their very own Blackberry Cafe',. YUMMY homemade fresh bagels daily. Headed back next year, if they'll have us. Thank You so much
- Aung (10/5): - Exc3
- Whitney (10/5): - Everything was cozy and clean.
- Franni (10/5): - All was wonderful
- Mary Jo (10/5): - Very nice property. As everything was keyless entry, I never met the owners.
Breakfast was at their little shop a few minutes walk from the inn. They provided a voucher for breakfast each day to be presented at the shop.
Excellent fresh bagel sandwiches.
- Debra (10/5): - Cute little area in walkable distance to restaurants and activities š
- Amy (10/5): - Thanks to hosts Brian and David for an exceptional long weekend stay in Watkins Glen to enjoy local hiking and Lake Seneca. The location was perfect. Breakfast at the Blackberry Inn Kitchen (cafe) with homemade bagels and pastries was exceptional. And their cheesecake? To die for!
- Blair (10/5): - Everything was PERFECT. The breakfast & bake goods were delicious. Location was great - you can walk to restaurants, shopping & the state park. I canāt wait to go back.
- Linda (6/5): - Cons: The glass shower door would not close. Staff was not available some of the time. Was under the impression breakfast would be served at the inn, but had the go to cafe to get breakfast every morning.
Pros: location was great to restaurants and shops, comfortable room and bed.
- Pietro (4/5): - This was not a b&b, it was an airb&b at best. No one to greet us, codes to get in, no door on the bathroom! Just a curtain! No breakfast on the premises, you have to walk to the shop they run to eat with a coupon to cover your breakfast. Room was not great, broken blinds, dust bunnies everywhere, water bottle left over from last guest, no bathroom toiletries, old and rusted shower caddy, crusted shower head, did I mention NO DOOR ON THE BATHROOM!!
- Hal (10/5): Great location. Quiet - Great hosts in an old farmhouse. Breakfast was served in a nearby cafe owened by the B&B. Easy walk to all attractions including the State Park
- Glenn (10/5): - Great location, easy checkin, and great hosts!! We really enjoyed the Blackberry Inn Kitchen for breakfast!!
- grant (10/5): - Beautiful residence. Very clean and well kept. Very evident that the home owners love what they do.
- christophe (10/5): - Great place to stay !
- Yehides (10/5): - Our stay at the inn was excellent for many reasons! The gracious hosts were kind and accommodating, helping us get into our rooms alright. The breakfast everyday was such a treat, a tasty and fresh start to our days in town. We were able to walk to Watkins Glen state park, as well as any number of shops and restaurants, because the location was so convenient -- just a few steps from the main street. Despite the proximity to town, the Blackberry Inn felt quiet and cozy and safe and quite apart from any of the traffic and hubbub happening just those two short blocks over. Our room/s were well equipped, very clean, and so comfy. There happened to be a region-wide power outage from a storm during our stay and were able to find emergency lanterns in the closets. It's all is thought of in advance, and the hosts are glad to help upon request. Just a few quick minutes drive to wineries, the lake, walmart, etc.
Wonderful stay! Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.
- Ray (10/5): - Great location and friendly host. I would recommend the place.
- Sharyn (10/5): - Just an overbite stop. Comfortable and convenient location
- Patrick (8/5): Nice but could be improved - The Inn is conveniently situated, so the harbour, the restaurants and State Park are easily walkable. The hosts are very inviting and the service is excellent. Our criticism is the our room could have been cleaner and the garden needs attention.
- Martin (10/5): - Everything was nice. The room could have used some darkeners so the morning light won't disturb the occupants' sleep.
- Mihaela (10/5): - The owners were very nice and helpful. The room was very clean, and had a realy nice smell. The 3-course breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay at the Blackberry B&B Inn and highly recommend it.
- Kelly (10/5): Wonderful stay! - I really enjoyed my stay at Blackberry Inn. Great location, lovely hosts, super comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. Can't wait to come back!
- Patricia (10/5): Perfect Getaway - Enjoyed our weekend stay! Great location, very clean and breakfast both days was delicious!

- John M (10/5): - Property and staff were excellent. Brian, David and Dom were awesome hosts. Great welcome and conversations during our daily breakfast, which by the way, were fabulous. Rooms were very clean with all the amenities needed. We stayed 3 nights over the weekend and met a few very nice guests staying at the B&B as well. Great recommendations for dining and wineries as well. Parking was no issue. Will highly recommend to family and friends on any of their trips up to the Finger Lakes.

- Julie (10/5): Great b& b - Lovely home and very fun and helpful owners. The shower was great. The bed was comfy. The food was plentiful and amazing! Great location too!
- Cathleen (10/5): - The best, most unique B&B I have ever stayed at. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The 1830 house is gorgeous, as are the furnishings. The hosts provide you with maps of the area, as well as their own recommendations.
Breakfast at 8:30 is unbelievably delicious, with farm-to-table recipes, using local, organic ingredients. I can never finish it all. (My second stay.)
- Lauren (10/5): - Absolutely loved this Bed & Breakfast! Such a cute place, walking distance to the beautiful waterfall hike, restaurants, and Seneca Lake shore line. The breakfast our hosts provided was amazing. I can't say enough about it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Brian and David are the best hosts you could ask for in every way.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Owners completely hands on and dedicated to a positive outcome...Outstanding Service and presentation
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a pleasant and relaxing stay. David and Brian were helpful and gracious. Breakfast was incredible. We plan on returning in the future.
- Brian (10/5): Unbelievable stay - The room was very clean and the dining area was amazing. They wore masks throughout our stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our Blackberry Inn stay was wonderful. The home has been beautifully renovated while leaving the old charm. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast very good. We definitely recommend a stay this inn!
- Scott (10/5): - Our stay at the blackberry inn was fantastic! The owners were super welcoming and accommodating to us! The room was very clean with great amenities. The rest of the inn was beautiful, providing a homey but elegant feel to our stay. A delicious homemade breakfast was waiting for us in the morning and the other residents were lovely. We definitely will be returning to the blackberry inn whenever we come to Watkins Glen!
- Patrick (10/5): Very comfortable and a great breakfast - The hosts made us feel totally at home. The room upstairs was very clean and the bed was comfortable. They gave us great recommendations for dinner. In the morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast. What a treat! I wish we had booked two more nights here.
- Corrie (10/5): - The Inn is centrally located, and served as the perfect home base for our weekend in town to visit family. The owners were at the door to greet us upon arrival. They did a brief health screening, which was very much appreciated, informed us about breakfast, and showed us to our room. Throughout our stay, they were friendly and helpful, offering ideas for places to go. The food was terrific, and the room comfortable, well-equipped, and air conditioned as we like (with our ability to control) during hot weather. We will definitely return, and highly recommend the Blackberry Inn to others.
- Leya (10/5): - Our stay was simply excellent from start to finish. Blackberry exceeded our expectations we were so pleased. First of all the appearance is really beautiful, stylish and quaint. The house is stylish and comfortable. Most importantly it was SO CLEAN. It was really immaculate. Brian and David really care about their place and it shows. Our room was spotless which is even more important now. It was also super stylish and comfortable. It had so many little touches that just made our stay over the top. Coffee maker bottles of water all the perks. We also had a 3 course farm to table breakfast EVERY day. The food was exquisite and fresh. It was well made but also tastefully served and displayed. Brian and David really want you to have an experience. They also could not be any lovelier and more friendly. It was such a pleasure talking to them they are such wonderful hosts. Chad who helps with breakfast and the inn was also so nice friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and it was MORE THEN FIVE STARS. Iāve stayed in over 60 countries and over 42 states and so you can see Iāve traveled a lot. This was one of the finest experiences Iāve ever had. Brian and David outdid themselves. I HIGHLY recommend blackberry!! THE BEST!
- beth (10/5): - Fabulous!! The Innkeepers were so kind and helpful and made the most incredible breakfast! David and Brian shared funny stories and gave us great winery and restaurant recommendations. Their dogs Toni and Moose made our stay feel so homey. Highly recommend this Inn!
- Michelle (10/5): - I liked that it was off the main road, it was quiet and the off street parking was great!
- MitchellTan (10/5): - Brian and David run an excellent B&B. Blackberry Inn is clean with a full range of amenities you would find at a hotel but with more character and local flavour. We loved the smells of the shampoos and soaps provided in the bathroom, and we really liked the choice of furniture in our room. The heating was wonderful for a cold winter, and we were also kindly offered use of their washing machine when we asked if we could do our laundry.
In addition to their excellent B&B, Brian and David are truly wonderful hosts. They offered a delicious breakfast for the two days we stayed with them, and also joined us for conversation over coffee. Breakfast is made from locally sourced producers and farmers, and being foodies, we really could taste the difference. Most importantly, we unfortunately got into a minor car accident in Watkins Glen. Brian and David very, very kindly drove us to the nearest Hertz store in Elmira Airport (a 30-40 minute drive away if I remember correctly) and also offered warm hugs and comfort in the wake of all the tow-truck-police-ambulance-medic stuff.
We will always remember the lovely time we spent at Watkins Glen, where we experienced the warmth and kindness of small town America, personified and embodied for us in the persons of Brian and David at Blackberry Inn Bed and Breakfast. Thank you so much Brian and David! Love from your Singaporean guests. <3 <3

Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, scrumptious gourmet breakfasts made with the freshest and only local foods, and best of all, our hosts were fun, attentive, engaging, and caring. My husband and I loved it all! Our fellow travelers, over our four day stay, were an added delight and we looked forward to seeing them each morning. - Verified traveler (8/5): - Liked the bedroom layout and big bath. It was a pleasant stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a fabulous inn. The pinnacle was certainly the three course breakfast and the wonderful innkeepers.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The inn is a lovingly old restored farmhouse. Amenities are modern but with a little country charm preserved. Brian and David are charming and go out of their way to be exceptional hosts. They were helpful with suggestions about area attractions and got us started in the right direction several times. Being dog people, it was also nice to be greeted by their two dogs in the mornings! Breakfast is at 8:30 (a little late for this early riser) and is the big event here. The rooms are very nice, but the meals elevate this establishment to a whole other level. The hosts were very accommodating to our special dietary needs. Grab a night here if you can!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice looking hotel and clean.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed in guest room 2 for one night. This was our first bed and breakfast experience and it was such an upgrade from a hotel. The room felt like home. The bed was so comfortable I almost didn't get up for breakfast, but I'm glad I did because it was amazing! Everything we wanted to go to was within a few blocks (state park, restaurants, Ben and Jerry's!, harbor, lake swimming area) so we didn't need to drive around. When we checked out the next day, we were able to street park easily and do things in the area for the rest of the day. All in all a great experience.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - My wife and I stayed at the Blackberry Inn in April, and we could not have had a more enjoyable experience. Brian and David are some of the kindest, funniest, most caring people. Our breakfasts every day were delicious; the breakfast sandwich was excellent and so filling, the corned beef hash was scrumptious, and the pancakes with bananas foster was literally, absolutely, unbelievably, mouth-wateringly the best pancake dish either of us have ever had, everāwe still talk about it. Brian and David are also so friendly and chatted with us about our plans and gave us so many suggestions we wouldnāt have thought about ourselves. Everything was clean, the location could not be better, and we canāt wait to go back.
