• Edgar (7/5): We love Coral Reef being right on the beach. - The resort was hit by Tropical Storm Debbie. The resort did a fine job in trying to reschedule everyone. We had 6 units reserved for our annual family reunion. The were able to get 4 of our units reserved after shifting from 2 BR units to the 1 BR units. They accommodated the best they could with the tragedy of flooding, and we were able to be together and enjoy our family reunion. They all went above and beyond in answering all of our inquiries each time we all called and helped make the best even with them dealing with so much with contractors, insurance, etc. Now, we can only hope they survived thru Hurricane Helene. Our heart goes out to their entire staff.
• Michael (6/5): - We had a ocenview from our room which was amazing. Pool area was.super nice. Overall property is dated, dirty and unkept. Our room was very outdated, dirty and smelly. Good thing we were only in our room to sleep and get ready for events. Not sure if we would return, dependent on whether updating is done.
• Barry (1/5): Hurricane Helene! 2024 - Nice location, pools and hot tubs great The problem was we had to evacuate the property and area due to hurricane Helene so we had to cut our vacation 2 nights short And relocate to another hotel in land no one seemed to care about us no type of compensation or future credit very disappointing considering the circumstances.

I booked a room with a pool view and when i arrived i was pleasantly surprised by having a partial view of the ocean. The beach was just a few steps away which was great. Got to see some wonderful sunsets. Pool was amazing.

• Walt (6/5): Pleasant - Pool is one of the best on the beach, but is starting to show it's age. Mattress was in need of replacement. Sagged toward the middle. We had 2 rooms and asked to be close to each other. They did not accommodate that request. When asked the next day to change one of the rooms they said no rooms were available even though the room next to our friends was unoccupied the whole stay.

• Deb (9/5): Superb - Nice size room, very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I love the 2 pools. I had a side balcony room with a view of the beach. Unfortunately, the hotel next door had the lot polluted with building supplies, which was an eyesore.
• Beverly (7/5): Decent for the money. - Location was on the beach. The pool was very nice. The furniture in the room needed updating. It was clean and stocked well. The office was up a flight of stairs not sure how someone with disability could get there.

Would have preferred a private balcony but still had and amazing view of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again. I went through hotels.com and got a very affordable rate for my stay.

• Robin (9/5): Superb - Cleanliness of EVERYTHING in the rooms! Swimming pools, close proximity to Tropicana Field. Great location! The only suggestion I have is to have both TVs have access to multiple channels. The TV in the bedroom had all the channels; the one in the kitchen/living room had almost nothing - not even local news!
• John (10/5): Nice place for relaxed beach vacation - Great location, right on the beach, very nice pools, best of all free laundry. The day arrived was the first day that they had termites treatment for the office so we did have a little bit trouble to find them but everything works out well . We had a great time!

The room was clean and kitchen was stocked with everything u need My biggest concern was part of the hotel was tented right by the pool and u need 2 walk by this area 2 exit. The tent was clearly mark POISON i had my granddaughter and was concerned her being so close 2 this area plus it being near my room. The resort should of been closed during these procedure. #2 no ice machines. We were told 2 go 2 7/11 across the street #3 no tiki bar was open. The purpose i chose this resort was because they showed & I was told the tiki bar in the center of the pool would b open. #3 housekeeping is only available certain days & hrs #4 showers outside did not work 2 rinse off #5 second night there fire dept was there. #6 in the evening sitting by the pool 2 gentlemen coming from the Beach hopped the fence 2 get entry 2 the pool. #6 the resort in general is fallen apart and is in desperate need of repairs. Honestly my biggest and upsetting concern was portion of the building being tented . And I was told when I was checkg out I was going 2 get a credit 4 being over charged which I still haven't seen on my bank statement

• Hollie (8/5): Although the location is beautiful, I would not come back due to lack of rule enforcement. - I like the location and how close it is to the beach. There is a policy that you cannot put your belongings in a chair or area that you are not using at the time. No one enforces these rules therefore, everyone comes out in the morning and puts their things on chairs and others cannot use them. I brought this to the attention of the people in the office and no one did anything about it. I had a confrontation with an older woman who was using an area with an umbrella that had four chairs, and there was only two people in her party. She also put her towels on two sun chairs and proceeded to tell me that I could not use these chairs because she was was going to use them later in the day to get sun. We considered doing timeshare here, but will not because this is such a hassle.

• Ian (6/5): Great location right on the beach but could have noise at night - The location was great. Right on the beach and close to amenities. Noise from air conditioning units at night meant the two days I stayed there I hardly slept. It was isolated to only a few rooms though as some other guests hadn’t heard the noise.

Parking was a bit tough at some points, no extra room. Was strange to have people walk onto our balcony to watch the sunset. Someone even sat in our neighbors chairs.

Also there was black mold in the room and my second night room the air wasn’t working properly. The condo rooms need updating they are outdated and the elevator is very slow to get to each floor

Room was very clean and well stocked with everything you needed. Laundry was free, just pay for the detergent. Slow elevator, but is there a fast elevator. lol. Lots of construction next door was loud at times, but this property can not control this.

• Schuhfamily (8/5): Loved the location and the pools! - Loved the pool and beach access. So beautiful! The unit is the perfect size, but very 90's dated. Definitely needs to be refreshed. However, everything is so maintained and taken care of. We really loved our stay and would stay here again.
• Marilyn (9/5): My stay was most enjoyable and I plan to return the end of September - Great Location next to great restaurants close to Grocery, easy beach access, a bar and restaurant next door. Loved walking everywhere. The rooms were nicely furnished and kitchen supplied well. I loved the drying rack and double sinks. The pool area was wonderful 2 pools and 3 hot tubs, best of any place I’ve stayed in the 20 years I’ve been visiting the area beaches. I loved the views from the 6th floor of our building watching a beautiful sunrise. The construction going on in the parking lot of the neighboring hotels distracted from the views from our balcony area. Was not like the pictures depicted that I was expecting. Usually there is a notice when construction is going on.

So much debris, the birds were non stop noisy and eating off the ground not far from the entrance to pool. Toilet did not flush very well. Our pool view was more a construction view.

We got ocen front to have have beautiful view of the ocean instead we had a partial view of the ocean due to Tradwinds placing a very large tent on the beach for their guests to celebrate passover If I had been informed of this eye sore on the beach, I would have chosen a different resort. Tradewinds has what looked like an awful mess located on the side of Coral reef if that would have been my view I would have demanded a refund. Tradewinds is ruining this beautiful little resort.
• John (10/5): - Fantastic pool area, much better than resorts next door. Room was ok, nothing fancy but met all our needs. We were on vacation and didn’t plan on spending much time in the room. Kitchen area was well stocked with all service/cooking-ware needed. Bed was comfortable. Room did have a musty smell upon arrival from a/c unit, I believe, but subsided after a day or so. Overall a great quiet retreat, we will be back.
