• Amber (10/5): Exceptionally perfect in every way!!! - Everything was soooo amazing! The staff was very very helpful and extremely kind. They treated my family like family of their own. The property has Everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. The location was extraordinary! Literally right on the beach!!!! And yes, very convenient to everything. I traveled with young children and felt very safe and confident that we were in a safe establishment!! We loved our stay and will definitely be back from now on. ❤️

• Tonya (10/5): - We absolutely will be staying here again! The staff was so friendly and even let us check in a little early with no extra charge. The pool was clean. The room was clean. The hot tub was fantastic! The only thing that we didn't like was the bed. It wasn't very comfortable. But other than that, it was amazing! Would highly recommend!
• Laura Leigh (10/5): - This was my first trip to the Atlantic and it was remarkable! Beautiful view from the best hotel, The Hollywood Beach Sands. Direct view of the ocean. Advice: the Atlantic is much colder than the Gulf of Mexico! I adored this small town, and my sister and I felt completely safe and comfortable. I could easily live there!!!
• Darren (8/5): - It was in very good condition for its age, great location right on the beach. It was a third floor with no elevator which was a little tough. These are owner Condo units but no shampoo or coffee filters which we had to hunt down. All in all it was a nice place to end our vacation.

• Julie (1/5): Even with a reservation, no rooms available - Don't go here, if you want a guaranteed room. - Never got to see it, they didn't have our reservation. They blamed booking.com. My sister in law, also had a reservation and they didn't have a room for her. She reserved it directly through Hollywood Sands. They still blamed a third party, which obviously wasn't true. I believe booking.com got blamed for both. If you want a guaranteed room, don't come here. I hate being lied to. They told us there were no vacancies, they can't make an owner leave. There is definitely something wrong with their system.

• Ryan (2/5): Misleading and small needs update. - The room is awfully small. It’s 1 bedroom is made for two people at best. It is old and it shows. This is not a family friendly unit. Too close and too much furniture in one small place. Don’t be fooled there is no ocean view from the room. And God forbid you leave a stain on a towel. I’m being charged $150 for god only knows what. The door fell off the hinges. It was a hot mess. We ended up leaving and headed next door to more suitable conditions at the Marriott. Save your money and don’t try to get the better rate… you’ll be sorry.

• Lawrence (4/5): - I have stayed at this hotel every year I go to Hollywood beach and this year made me not want to go there again. Something was biting all of us on the bed and when we informed the staff they were in denial. Staff check room and stated they didnt find anything however we found ants on couch bed. Staff replaced our blankets and sheets but it didnt help the issue. One night we stayed up outside and didnt sleep, I have never had issues before, however the staffs attitude and response was not acceptable.
• Anne (1/5): We never stayed here and will never consider staying in the future! - Location! Steps away to the beach. Upon arrival we were taken aback with the condition of the front lobby area with mattresses standing on end, cluttered area and not particularly clean. We were then informed that the room we booked and paid for in advance was not available due to a renovation inspection not being completed. We were told that they booked us at a sister resort just about 4 blocks away in a comparable unit. I asked why I wasn’t informed before and she stated that they had no contact information for me. Why couldn’t they contact Booking.com? We asked if we should get an Uber (she didn’t offer any transportation) and she stated that it was not too far just on the other side of Margaritaville. Long story short, We walked over a mile on the Broadwalk in the hot sun to Hollywood Beach Tower with 2 suitcases and 2 carryon bags. Needless to say, we were exhausted, sweaty and pissed off upon arrival to the new location.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cute & Clean Studio on Boardwalk - Nice little condos to stay in. We were in a studio and it was perfect for two people. Staff were cordial but not super friendly. Resort was very clean. Couple minute walk to beach. Right on the boardwalk, close to a variety of restaurants and shops.

• Jessica (10/5): Great spot with great views and location - The unit we stayed in was perfect for us. It has a small kitchen with dishwasher ! Perfect for a small family. It’s right on the beach and the little pool was great for our daughter. Walking distance to restaurants and there is a restaurant right next door at the Marriott for convenience. We would stay again.

• ROBERT (8/5): Nice place - Room was nice. First time we ever slept in a Murphy bed and it was very comfortable. The location was great since it was right on the beach and along the boardwalk. The pool was nice but the hot tub was very small-maybe room for four.

The only thing that I would change is that check-in time is between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This can be a tight window when traveling from out of state, especially when flying. A 2:00 or 3:00 check in would be more convenient. However, they did move up our check-in time as much as possible which was very nice of them.

The only thing was the maintenance of the pool, it needs a lit bit more, but the cleaning crew gets there every morning, just that at night, I guess with all the people that gets in with sunblock cream, leaves a ugly film on the surface. Other than that the hotel is excellent.

• Robert (10/5): Hooray for Hollywood Sands Resort! - Our second visit to the Hollywood Sands Resort, and hope to have many more! The secret to a good resort is the staff, and the HSR staff are outstanding. The maintenance is continual and keeping the rooms and facility in perfect condition. The rooms are well appointed with above average furnishings, all the kitchen utensils you need, the beds are comfy, the A/C is cold, the rooms are cleaned well for your arrival, the compound is secure, and the ocean views from the east building apts, well, thats what makes it such a memorable stay. The location is the north end of the broadwalk, right on the broadwalk, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the broadwalk restaurants. The Hotels dot com pre-booking and payment worked perfectly both stays. Yes, we have one complaint, the Hollywood Sands Resort reputation is well-known; and it is hard to get rooms for the next week if you want to extend your stay! But we will keep trying, it is that good!.
