- JordanC905 (10/5): It was something! - Ok, this review may not be for everyone, but I am going to do it anyway. Location : FANTASTIC. Ice cream shop right across the street, nearby to stores, restaurants, and all Daytona Beach has to offer. Sits a little bit further down the beach in the quieter side, it was a beautiful area. You can hear/see the waves from your patio & can have coffee looking at the ocean and then walk down the steps to put your toes in the sand! Atmosphere, and here is where if this doesn't sound like something you would understand, then just move along. Ok.....so this is where someone like myself, that doesn't have a lot of money goes to stay and vacations in Daytona Beach lol. Where my dad would have taken me as a kid, and we're gonna swim & have a good time, just don't walk barefoot on the floors. This place is where *ahem, I say this with all kindness*..trailer park royalty, such as myself, would go to stay. No frills, do NOT expect house keeping, ice machine or anything of the sort, cause honey it ain't happening. Place & Room: This is a very old place. You can see they do try and maintain, but like all older places on the beach, the salt has taken it's toll. Rooms are VERY old, (think loose tile, rust, paint coming off, furniture is from the 90s, mini fridge didn't work (we grabbed an igloo from wally-world with ice. The sliding glass door you had to get into a WWE wrestling match with to get the door to slide open, y'all get the picture. Door situation isn't the best, but it did have a little turn lock. When we sat on one of the beds, the mattress was broken and went to the floor LOL. Now, on to the positives! It was CLEAN. I will say that, at least our room was. I didn't see any bugs, we had a lizard in the room with us, his name was Chong for the duration of our trip, he was a chill guy. The sheets we stained & older, but clean. The AC in our room would freeze you out, workhorse that didn't quit. Shower was semi warm, but it was clean. They provided the basic toiletries. I was told on check in there was a free grab and go breakfast, lots of carbs, yummy. The pool & area was nice & clean. Chairs to lay out on were comfortable, couple tables to sit at (bring your own camp/beach chair. Beach was just a couple steps down, & they had a shower to wash off the sand as you came in. We got a bottom floor room, which was fantastic as we could park right across from our room & it made unloading so much easier. We got room 112 and were close to the pool and could watch the waves from our patio. Speaking of patio's, it was nice. Bring your own chairs, the one that was provided, I didn't feel like falling in front of everyone. I was very surprised at how quiet it was, there were alot of families with small kids, and everything quieted down around 9-10ish. Even with the door situation, we felt pretty safe. But, you could go swim in the pool at night, I don't know if it was allowed, but no one seemed to mind, kids were just being kids! It was a very relaxed vibe, guy who checked us in was cool. Overall, if you want a no frills proper Daytona Beach vacation & your pretty self sufficient, a pool & beach access and some chill vibes at a good price point, come here. If your used to an ice machine, paint on the walls & a cart to help you get your luggage up, DO NOT come here, plain & simple. Don't think the elevator worked anyways, so if you got alot of stuff, get ready to work for it. Overall, for our broke girls weekend, we had fun. I would come back, just be prepared for what you get!

- Nicole (9/5): I have 2 recommendations: 1. Book your stay at SeaScape Inn TODAY! 2. Bring your own bedding and pillows! - As soon as you walk through SeaScape Inn’s pet-friendly double front doors leading into their sun lit lobby and make your way to the front desk, you are engulfed in friendly introductions and warm welcomes not only by staff members, but also from your new suite neighbors! And don’t let me forget to tell y’all about the big shaded grassy area where dogs can walk their humans! Oooh yeah, one more thing… their shower water pressure was phenomenal! The hotel’s entrance from the road going into parking area was definitely not made for bigger or oversized vehicles! HEADBOARDS THAT ARE SCREWED INTO THE WALL ARE BOUND TO FALL My daughter and I were laying in bed watching tv when she sat up to get a drink, hit the back of her head on headboard and it came crashing down the wall to the floor where it pushed against our bed and made it roll away from the wall COMFORT IN YOUR BED LEADS TO LESS STRESS FOR YOUR HEAD ~new mattresses or good quality, thick pillow tops that YOU would sleep on ~sheet and comforter sets that YOU would sleep amongst (Get rid of them thin, itchy, outdated fish comforters that have been around for generations) ~new pillows that have enough fluff for even YOUR head

It is somewhat disappointing because they know that demand is high and also super difficult to achieve availability. They are very disrespectful, poor quality of care. Bad service. I would never come back.

We stayed 4 days and had to ask for toiletries, never got clean towels. there were no maids. Toilet did not flush. Rust on all appliances. Blankets were awful. A handful of iffy guests!

- Christopher (1/5): Won’t stay there again… - The location was great, easy access to the beach. The pace itself was horrible. Drug addicts live in the rooms and the walls are paper thin and they kept us up most of the night yelling and partying. Beds was hard as a rock, floor tiles cracked and sinking, sliding door didn’t want to close all the way. Smelled like pot everywhere. Cheap price but next time I’ll pay a little more for something different. Didn’t like the fact people actually live in the rooms and it’s nasty looking.

We had a 13" TV, broken fan plus the paint was peeling off the bathtub. No kitcken. We left one day earlier and lost one hundred dollars, just couldn't take it anymore!

- Alann (2/5): - Very dirty, unsafe condition, mold in the rooms, this facility is falling apart and its sad the Expedia have this hotel on their website as 4.1 *the bedding mattress is absolutely disgusting, i unfortunately stayed there for one noght and left earlier, do your self a favor, don't stay here
