Guest Reviews
- Pamela (10/5): - Second time at this property. Location is great and there is less traffic than downtown Palm Springs. Rooms are immaculate. Staff was wonderful. Parking was no problem at all, and no extra charge for parking. We will definitely return!
- Matthew (10/5): - This was a fantastic resort to stay during our small trip to Palm Springs! My girlfriend and I went in wanting a relaxing two day stay and from the pictures this resort looked like it would get the job done; and boy did it! Everything was superb and we’ll definitely be coming back!!
- Silvia (10/5): - Best place to stay have been going there for years
- Maria (10/5): Fab Place for Families - Great place to stay as a family if visiting the Palm Springs area. We had a 1 bed apartment that was large, clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Great pool just outside our room, and great deli/diner on site. We stsyed when it was extremely hot but A=C worked really well.
- Josef (10/5): - Erin was excellent at making our stay so great. Thank you!
- Armen (10/5): - Everything was cool.
- Eduardo (10/5): - Great spot for tranquility and peace. My family liked everything from how clean it was to how safe it was. Staff was great and helpful with great knowledge of the area and recommendations for local events. Will be going back and recommend for families.
- Veronica (10/5): - My Fiance and I spent the 4th of July weekend and we absolutely loved it here. This place is spacious and we had our own bbq pit, lounging chairs and patio table. This place is private, quiet and beautiful. We will definitely be back
- Mary Ann (10/5): - We had a weekend getaway to celebrate my hubby’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. Though the weather was very warm but we truly enjoyed our stay. It’s very quiet and walkable to some stores. It was a very comfy place to rest and relax. The staff that checked us in was very detailed on every thing that we can have or what we can do during our stay.
- Gary (10/5): - The units we've stayed in were super clean and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Shopping center is next door so you can walk to get groceries. A very easy vacation

Our unit (2 bedroom) was well appointed and had a very large deck/patio with furniture and bbq. We will definitely stay here again.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Very clean and quiet. Front desk staff was very nice and welcoming. Perfect place for families
- Anne (10/5): - This is a lovely quiet property and an excellent value for a one bedroom unit close to all the dining and entertainment options Palm Springs offers. Pretty grounds with 2 pools and hot tubs that were never overcrowded and we enjoyed the gym and pickleball. Kind attentive staff - highly recommend
- Karen (10/5): - The condo was roomy and well-appointed. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for.
- Clifford (10/5): - We love staying at Desert Isle. Always quiet, comfortable and clean
- Ruth (10/5): - Excellent area
- Stephen (10/5): - We really liked the place. Highly recommended
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay property but… - Too many people drinking alcohol and partying at the pool. Not kid friendly.
- oscar (10/5): - Great place, overall awesome experience
- Armine (10/5): - I like the condo. It was spacious and comfortable.
- Michelle (10/5): - Love the space and cleanliness! Loved the kitchen and the items it came. Loved the patio with the BBQ. I would recommend easier access to extra towels and hygienic items
- Jose (10/5): - Perfect getaway stay
- Ashley (2/5): - Property was terrible there were worms in side property dirty sofa bed wasn’t cleaned and we were unable to open it
- Ani (10/5): - Great community and easy to access shopping centers
- Walter (10/5): - One of the roomiest places I've ever stayed, a huge living room, good sized bedroom, and a full kitchen. I was on vacation, so I dined out for every meal, but with the kitchen and barbecue, I could have dined in. The excercise room, pool and spa were also really nice.
- LINDA (10/5): - Single story casita/duplexes with nice patios, grassy areas, privacy, immaculate BBQs, beautiful - almost old fashioned - resort setting. Great views. The office staff and maintenance personnel are wonderful. We love this place and have been staying at Desert Isle since 2001.
- Haik (10/5): - Very good thank you
- Melissa (10/5): - This was a great property. Quiet and clean and a good price.
- John (10/5): - The grounds were well maintained and lots of flowers!
- Annette (8/5): - Very welcoming, quiet, well appointed and excellent location. Would definitely stay again
- Elisabeth (10/5): - These units are not fancy, but clean, roomy, comfortable and well equipped. We will stay here again when we're in the area next.
- Jan (10/5): Living large in Palm Springs! - Great accommodation. Spacious and comfortable with a great 2nd floor deck with wonderful views of the mountains. Very clean and well-stocked with basics. Very nice bedding
And good heat/AC
- Helen (8/5): Lots of room - The condo was a very large 2br/2ba unit with a lovely rooftop deck. There was a spiral staircase so I couldn’t get my luggage upstairs to take advantage of 5he upper floor bedroom with the large deck. Very unusual layout but spacious and good for our purposes.
The kitchen was not very well stocked with cooking items. It has just the bare minimum.
Had access to the 2 tennis courts and outdoor pool. Within walking distance to restaurants, Walgreens and grocery stores.
- Tao (10/5): - Spacious and comfortable. Loved the steam shower.
- Matthew (2/5): - We arrive at 4PM and our room was not ready after driving over 6 hours and having a dinner reservation. They had to fix the toilet. After waiting 15 minutes we finally got to our room where he was still fixing it. Then the next day after going downtown we came back to our room. the water was shutoff and we asked how long and after a constant back and forth they said 5 hours. There temporary fix was to shower in the tennis court showers and there next thing they offered was to go into another unit and just shower. They refunded 1 night and we had to leave and drive 1.5 hours to another hotel. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO TO PALM SPRINGS. IT WAS ALOT DIFFERENT THEN WHAT IS ADVERTISED! What a horrible anniversery trip.
- Ronda Lynn (10/5): - Loved the resort.
- dr. richard (10/5): - beautiful property 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 2 story condo. everything updated
- silva (10/5): - Small
- Ronald (10/5): - Excellent vacation resort. Well maintained, friendly staff. Well located.
- B (10/5): Space + value - We had an excellent stay at Desert Isle. The property is in good condition and the condos are absolutely huge. It wasn’t particularly busy when we were there so we had the pool area etc. to our self most of the time and had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Very easy driving to town and there are a few shops etc. nearby as well. Will definitely stay here again.
- tamara (10/5): - This is our go-to place to stay in Palm Springs, we've stayed here numerous times. The property is beautiful and the employees are friendly. I have no wishes, it's perfect
- Anthony (10/5): - Super friendly staff. Clean room/villa with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable
- Maureen (8/5): Great weekend - Love everything about this wonderful place except the pull out sofa mattress in our room was horrible
- blake (4/5): - The pool had a lot of larvae bugs that you see in ponds. They cleaned the pool the next day but they were still infested. They also cut all the palm trees that day they cleaned the pools and let the debris fall into the pool. We come specifically for the pool since it’s so hot so my kids were kinda bummed. The room was great. Our refrigerator stopped working and they handled it great
- Kim (10/5): - We always enjoy our stay at the Desert Isle!
- kasper (10/5): Happy Camper - Love this place. We always come here and we always enjoy it. Highly recommend this resort.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Older timeshare complex but the room/suite was upgraded BEAUTIFULLY! Love having 2 bathrooms, great layout, lots of space, big kitchen. Super friendly front desk people! Slight oversight on a couple cleaning things, hair in master shower and one dirty dish but overall excellent so I did not reduce cleanliness score. Pool area is average so if you're looking for a glamorous resort this is not it; I have been working/staying in the area all summer at similar resorts and this tops them all in this price range. Will definitely return!
- Mary (10/5): - I loved the grill in patio. Place was clean but not the pool. I loved it, will go back again.
- John (2/5): - I was promised a certain room months in advance the last minute it was changed and I was never told.
I'll never stay there again.
- sergio (10/5): - Great accommodations for a small family - room for everyone. Very pleased with our choice to stay here for our weekend getaway. Highly recommend will be coming back soon.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Lovely hotel. Staff was very kind and accommodating when we mistakenly stayed passed checkout time. Very clean pool and room. Loved how we had a personal bbq and used it daily. Overall one of our favorite hotels, we will be back!
- Rosemarie (10/5): Wonderful story - Amazing. Spacious rooms. I loved the kitchen and the barbecue. We will come again. We even saw the 4th of July fireworks from our back patio!
- Vacheh (10/5): - Great property! Friendly staff, shopping near by
- Heather (10/5): - It was a beautiful and inviting environment for a mid to long stay; fully stocked kitchen (i.e. dishes, utensils, pots/pans, etc.) plus, BBQ on the patio. Multiple pools on the campus and a delicious restaurant just steps away. Grocery stores just a quick drive away and downtown is just down the road.
- Nicholas David (8/5): - Great location, quiet, clean, would definitely stay again.
- Julia (10/5): - Pleasantly surprised by this property! Will definitely stay again!
- Jennifer (6/5): - Pros: Close to grocery store and some restaurants. Nice pool. Laundry on site. Large suites. Was able to check in early, which was nice.
Cons: Kitchen floor not swept or washed when we checked in. (had to do that myself). Could hear guests in adjoining suite (regular speaking voice level, and, unfortunately, would hear their loud s3x). Could hear street noise from East Palm Canyon.
- Claudia (10/5): - Property grounds are lovely and the villas spacious and well maintained. It was the perfect spot to relax for a few days. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We look forward to returning as we will now make this our go to when we travel to Palm Springs,
- Kathy (10/5): - The 2 bedroom villa exceeded my expectations. Stayed for Stagecoach and will definitely bring my family here. The A/C worked wonderful during the record heat wave. I do not have one bad thing to say. Five stars!
- Jean (10/5): - Great hospitality
- Patrick (10/5): Love the Pool! - Our room was wonderful with an amazing view of the mountains. The woman at the front fest who handled our check in was very friendly, pleasant and professional! This is our second year in a row we’ve stayed at this hotel for spring beak and we plan on staying here next year for sure!
- John (6/5): - The unit was fine. Recently renovated, and tasteful. It is a dark unit. The deck opens up to the back of an adjacent building - view/ usability of the deck in minimal. All in all a rather soulless unit. Nothing wrong with it, but little right with it either. Price point seemed appropriate. Description of the facility online overstates the complex.
- Holly (10/5): - Loved the condo we stayed in. Had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. A great find.
- Tracy (2/5): Re: My Service Dog discrimination - It started as soon as i said i have a Service Dog. Two older women working front desk were horrible! Discrimination big time regarding my Service Dog. I was told multiple times to bring them a copy of certificate before checking in. Telling me he cannot stay in the room by himself (which i already know). Told me he has to leave his vest on. After i came back i was asked 3 times for his certification for being a Service Dog. This is all against the law on their part! As i walked away the women who checked me in kept bringing it up. I will be reporting this to corporate office. My dog and i travel alot and this is the first time this happened. So damn unprofessional! I will be sure to tell everyone with a service Dog how i was treated at Desert Isle. Those two women should be fired!
- Jessie (10/5): - We loved how spacious the rooms where. Quiet, clean and the steam shower was a highlight
- Edward (10/5): - very cool place....better then the images online. For sure will come back. All grounds and facilities were great. Very relaxing.
- Alan (10/5): - We've stayed here for years and love it. Staff is friendly and helpful when you need it and the rooms are very large and able to accommodate extra sleepers if needed. There is a great deli style restaurant that borders the property and has an incredibly diverse menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The athletic options and gym facilities are very good and the pool and spa are excellent. Well worth it and super quiet.
- Barbara (10/5): - It was a beautiful place to stay!
- Bangone (10/5): - Property was newly remodeled and unit were nicely furnished with all the kitchen appliances. Staff and personnel was very helpful answering questions and assisting with needs. Really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back.
- pam (10/5): Nice accommodations & location! - Desert Isle is centrally located near a shopping center with a market, TJMaxx, eateries and more. Unit was excellent and in great shape. Pool was nice. No complaints! Staff were very nice and helpful.
- Hector (10/5): - We had a great time here, checking was quick and easy, lady in the front was great, she explained every detail, room was clean and spacious, and we enjoyed our time in the pool, we will stay here again next time we're in palm springs.
- Nolan Leroy (10/5): - The property could use some updates
- JOSEPH (10/5): Awesome Stay - we had a awesome time and the Desert Isle was great the pool was wonderful.
- Kelly (10/5): Amazing - My husband and I have stayed here twice now and we love it. A hidden gem for sure, can’t wait to go back
- Susan (10/5): - We originally only booked two nights at this resort, but after the first night, we enjoyed the accommodations so much that we extended our stay three more nights. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Palm Springs.
- Xiaorong (10/5): - Very nice property and well kept. Loved the pool and hot tub and quietness in the compound
- Jimmy (8/5): - Property was very nice. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom lights don’t turn off which was weird. Check in at 4 and check out by 10 is ridiculous and a huge turn off. Coming fro. Out of town and with the Palm Springs heat it’s impossible to really enjoy the day you arrive or leave with those times.
- Sandra (10/5): - My husband and I stayed at the Desert Isle along with our 2 adult children for a destination wedding this weekend. We couldn't get over how spacious all of the rooms were and the 2 separate bathrooms for 4 grown adults getting ready for a wedding was a godsend! We were only in town for 2 nights and hated to leave! We felt like we were letting such a great place to stay go to waste.
The unit along with the entire property were impeccably maintained. Clean, quite, convenient, friendly staff. Just can't say enough good things about the Desert Isle. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting PSCA and would not consider staying anywhere else if our travels ever take us back to PS again. Thank you for a great experience.
- Sienna Del (10/5): - absolutely loved the kitchen aspect! also the parking was great. big room too!
- Hilton (10/5): - Property was nice. Loved the apartment. Great value for the rate.
- Scott (10/5): - Great spot! The condo was spacious and clean, and the grounds were beautiful. Very relaxing place, but close to downtown.
- Jesus (10/5): Will be returning - Beautiful grounds, perfect location, condo very comfortable and updated. Pools and jacuzzi were awesome. Nice and quiet stay pricate patio and bbq.
- Rachelle (6/5): - I like the pond that was outside our resort room. The room was clean and well supplied.
- Nathan (10/5): - Quiet neighborhood, but close to shopping.
- Cynthia (2/5): WiFi is terrible - would not recommend - Stay was comfortable, however, the WI-FI Did NOT work both of the nights and days that we stayed there. It completely ruined our trip because we had both planned on working remotely on Friday and were unable to work. We were unable to use the internet for personal communications and unable to Access Netflix and the On-Demand TV. Only received 20% refund for first night, not the second night. Will never stay here again.
- Grant (8/5): - The room was very spacious, both bathrooms were nicely updated- our particular room was quite dark however, and I think I'd prefer a room on the second floor for privacy reasons..our "View" was a busy road and a parking lot. The pool was the perfect temperature for a hot day- nice and cool...
- Jennifer (8/5): Nice stay at Desert Isle. - Nice stay at Desert Isle. We had a 2-bedroom suite. Room was very spacious and the kitchen was very clean and had all the amenities except a colander. You get an assigned covered parking spot which was great. The grounds are decently maintained as well and the service at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. My only complaints are that I had to run the faucet for a long time before getting any hot water (in kitchen and bathrooms) and our balcony doors were really stiff and kept sticking, so hard to open/close. Otherwise, all good.
- Justin (10/5): - The villas have steam showers!! I love a nice steam after a workout or long day out and about.
- NOEL (10/5): Complete Surprise!!!! - This condo was an absolute surprise. It is very large, the bed is comfortable, the grounds are beautiful. It is definitely a home away from home. Loved every minute!!!!
- Stephen Todd (10/5): - This is a very beautiful facility. Clean, comfortable, up to date, convenient location, and the common areas are not overcrowded. Because it is on Palm Canyon Drive it is very noisy.
- Jo Ann (10/5): - Liked the pond, added to the tranquility. Very nice, clean grounds, definitely a place to recommend.
- Mary Eileen (8/5): Great escape - It was a very nice experience at this older looking resort. I was getting away from work and needed quiet and while I was there ( early Jan, few tourists due to virus concerns) it was so peaceful plus great weather. The housekeeping staff was friendly as was the check- in clerk. The location was 5-10 minutes drive to downtown just what I wanted.
- Pamela (10/5): - This place was great. Spacious and quiet. Assigned Parking spot and friendly staff.
- NAGEINDRAN (8/5): - The place was good but needs an elevator for senior adults getting up to the 2nd floor.
