Gym ac never worked and they could get Pedlton bike to work and good luck on any towels in the gym. Four of the days I was there the towels were empty. Second floor ice maker doesn’t work.

• Z4225PNdianaw (8/5): Homewood suites New Braunfels - The first night our room had a master switch that turns off all the plugs and lights including the bathroom light. We were unable o turn off just the overhead light and leave the fan running. We reported it to the desk the next morning and thought the desk clerk would report the issue but he did not. The night clerk offered to change our room which we did and the second room was delightful. Wish we had not had the issue with the first room.
• crdude2013 (4/5): Disappointing and expensive. - In the first room the TV didn't work. The front desk clerk first said maintenance would be up to look at it, then later said no one was available. In the room we switched to the TV worked for a while but would not come on again after being off for a while. The ice machines on floors 2 and 3 were not working at all. The breakfast was mediocre. A housekeeper knocked on the door even though the Do Not Disturb sign was out. We were charged a good deal more than what the website advertises.

• GlobeTrotting258694 (10/5): Front lobby out of the world ecstatic fragrance experience - All good except when you walk in the front desk entrance, don't know what they use to clean the floor or they did not wash or use old dirty floor mop, it smells tremendously like sewage smell, rotten eggs smell. Wow. $200 over dollars a night and it smells like sewage in the air. I overheard latter next day, a newly checked in family, a member spoke out loud, "smells like sewage". Wow. Regional manager or directors needs to visit this facility unannounced so their nose can smell the truth. Have a great day.

• CindyW_Texas_USA (8/5): Love the layout of the suites. Great breakfast. - Great location for us, and a lovely floor plan. Very clean. It might be time for a few refreshments to the decor - the ottoman in our room was peeling (fake leather). Breakfast was great. Good variety for me as I am gluten free. I loved the chia pudding with toppings. Unfortunately the 24 hour coffee wasn't available (front desk had said it would be...so it might have been a one-off?). But in the morning we got extra coffee packets from the front desk to make in our room so we were okay until breakfast time at 7 AM (weekend). One elevator was out of service - which made for a bit of a wait sometimes. But since we are early risers we didn't have too bad of a jam up. We have stayed here before and will stay again. Nice rooms at a good price point and in a good location for us.

• lola517 (8/5): Clean, roomy & newish - Great communication, clean, and rooms were a nice size. There was also free breakfast which was ok but convenient. With that said the system went down and room cards couldn’t be produced. Luckily the mobile app worked with the digital keys. We were able to get our card keys the last night. Also rooms are cleaned every other day so had to throw out our own trash and call down and go get fresh towels. All that said it was a quiet stay and beds were comfortable.

My room was well designed and had all the amenities I needed. Most importantly, it was clean! The location is great! There are restaurants, coffee, shopping, etc. either in walking distance or a quick drive away. The breakfast is about what you would expect for a free breakfast. Overall, I am very pleased with my stay and will choose this hotel on my next visit!

It had a mattress pad, then the fitted sheet then the flat sheet, then another mattress pad and the bedspread was put on upside down, so there was a fitted end up by our face that we ended up fighting with all night Other than that, the room was very clean nice and comfortable

The hotel was clean. It was nice to have a refrigerator and extra space. The elevators worked well. Parking was not an issue. There are restaurants within walking distance. The food at breakfast was good but the plates were styrofoam. Even the utensils were plastic and came wrapped in plastic. The coffee cups were paper. I hate to see hotels contribute to the landfill in this way.

Center of a lot of places and there’s a Buc-ee’s right around the corner and HEB too When we came back at 11 PM, our key cards would not work and they didn’t have a maintenance person they could help us so we were gonna have to wait until someone showed up. The person at the counter didn’t show any empathy and just said that someone would be around. I had to ask how long. She said 45 minutes.

Lamp shades didn't have nuts on the top of the shade frames, the bathroom door didn't fit so it rubbed twice each time it was opened or closed, the maid would come at the end of her shift and leave us no choice, if we wanted fresh towels, we had to do it ourselves...bathroom was filled with construction dust in the corners...etc. Overall, someone wasn't doing their job.
• 828chaseb (8/5): Mediocre with some issues with maintenance - Was a good experience except the AC was not working properly in room, temp never got under 72…. On our level the main AC in hall wasn’t working either… it was hot when you left room. Also the light in kitchen was flickering and not working properly, my wife has a sensitivity to flashing lights. Finally, we were told we’d get our room cleaned every other day. We had a. 3 day stay with no cleaning or tidying. Room was small and had far too much furniture in it.
• Marina (6/5): - The hotel was just ok. For what it cost, we’d expect more. The door was off level or something and it was heavy to open and close. We joked that it was a prison door. The room did not smell good at all, it was musty like or dirty something. The restroom baseboard was broken and the toilet paper holder had been replaced so the old holes were just filled with putty. It wasn’t all “bad,” I would just expect more for the price. It was a great area with lots of options for dining, entertainment and even a church all within walking distance. It felt safe. I wouldn’t “highly recommend” here, but it will work if it’s all that’s available.

• 80alissas (8/5): Last minute stay - I had to get a last minute room. I stayed at Homewood suites in New Braunfels. The room was great but my toilet stopped working around 9 pm. I called and they sent someone to fix it right away. The breakfast was really good also.

• BARBARA (6/5): The shower was good - The stay was uncomfortable. The mattress was not great. I bring my own pillow. There were no towels or extra TP when we arrived. I told the walking dead guy at the front desk that we were almost out of TP when we arrived. He said, uh huh. Then after a second he asked if i needed any. I said, yes, one. When we got off the elevators, we were several times met with large carts pushing onto the elevators without seeing who they're running into. We had to yell out, stop. The elevator beeps so loud on each floor that i had to cover my ears. The breakfast is good. If you want coffee in the afternoon, it's cold so make your own. Never staying there again. They did offer step in low showers with no tub to get into which is why we stayed there. Nice shower and big rooms with full kitchen and couch area which was very nice. The building was a little tricky to find.

• carlajN5995WN (4/5): Would book another location if one was available. - It’s a nice facility because it’s new, but customer service is lacking. Just be aware they don’t fully honor their advertised amenities, for example breakfast until 10:00 am on weekends and holidays. They start pulling food and drinks off at exactly 9:00 even if people are still waiting in line for food. It was really bad form, especially on a holiday weekend when lots of families were staying here.

Her knowledge and assistance with getting us check in, complementary water and a list of the restaurants in the area. The room was excellent! Very clean and spacious we had a king studio, we stayed one night. I love the Hilton and I would recommend this hotel and we will stay again for any future endeavors to this area! August 23-24, 2025

• Cruiser06376582611 (10/5): Would stay here again! - What a nice place to stay! It's not right off the Interstate, so it's way more quiet, but it's easy to get to. It had a nice pool, a nice workout room, a half court basketball court and a fire pit. Close to shopping and many restaurants. Speaking of food, the breakfast there is SO good! We were there 2 mornings and there were breakfast tacos available with your choice of meat and eggs and flavored potatoes with a choice of corn or flour tortillas. The meats varied each day, but one day there were sausage links or braised pork in a red sauce (so good) and the next day there was bacon or chorizo. They have cheese and several choices of wonderful hot sauce. And that's not all.....if you like chia pudding or overnight oats, they have those too!! Where else could you get those? They had a good choice of fruits, danish and breads and yogurts. AND the breakfast staff were so good at keeping items stocked and they were so friendly. Breakfast area was large. At check in and check out we were met with nice folks as well. As for the room, it was clean and the hotel looked fairly new. The bed was a little firm for us, but that's always a toss up isn't it? We chose a King Suite, so there was not a separate room for the bed. BUT there was a ceiling fan over the bed!! What?! It did make some noise and we couldn't find a remote, but still.....a ceiling fan! The kitchen was nice and well stocked. The only thing we would ding them on was the toilet. It was WAY too short and very close to the ground. There was also not good lighting in the bathroom when trying to take a shower. The water was soft though, which was nice. They even had pretty nice carts to take your items to your rooms. But as many have said on reviews, only 1 elevator was working. Apparently it had been out a couple of months. Overall a good stay!

• Venture29309791263 (10/5): Smaller Version of Hotel with Good Staff That Aims to Please - I visited this property twice in one month. On a scale of 1-5, using relevant criteria, I ranked this hotel at a 4.66 – pretty darn good in my book! 1. Reservation App/ Web Site: 4.5 points. App would not work unless cell phone was connected to hotel WIFI, which made the digital app almost impossible to use! 2. Check In/Awards Program: 5 points. On both visits, I was greeted by a friendly staffer, checked in without delays, and provided with two free bottled waters (free with the awards program). 3. Location/Nearby Businesses: 5 points: Ideally located within walking distance of several niche restaurants and bars that serve food. A short driving distance from main stream dining and shopping options. Blocks away from local ER, hospital and medical facilities. Less than a mile away from the main freeway. 4. Front Desk/Customer Service: 5 points. They pick up the phone if you call for help with something. Greet you with little delay at the front desk, resolve any issues, and follow up to find out if the issue was taken care of. 5. Overall Property Cleanliness: 4.5 points. Employee spent a LOT of time cleaning up pool water puddles on the ground floor hallways and the elevator – but made a serious effort to do so during prime time pool use. Parking lot has more than a few trees that tend to attract birds that use the parked cars for their dumping grounds. 6. Amenities in Room: 4 points. Both stays had me taking off stained top comforters and putting them away in a drawer. Blankets proved to be a safer bet. Sheets were crispy and clean! Only 2 sets of towels were provided, which meant requesting or heading to the front desk to ask for more towels to get us through the 4/5 night length stays. And you probably need to get an extra roll or two of TP while you are grabbing more towels. 7. Room Cleaning: 4.5 points. Rooms are cleaned and restocked every 3rd day of your stay (basically the 4th day you are there). I emptied the kitchen garbage myself and caught up with cleaning service employees to throw away. Garbage bins near elevators were always jammed with all kinds of food related garbage in the one bin and on the floor in front of the bin. 8. A/C, Heating, Lights, TV, WIFI, Plumbing: 4.5 points. A/C worked fine. All lights worked when used. First stay had me fighting with a remote and TV that just didn’t work with the cable service being used. But a request for service, had a tech guy replacing the TV and remote as soon as he figured out what the problem was. Ceiling fans looked pretty dusty and were too high to clean myself - so I did not use. WIFI with awards membership is free, protected by a login and worked great. You almost have to use the WIFI to get internet service on the property, as cell service in that area is dismal. On my second stay, I ended up with a toilet with a valve pump that would get stuck every few flushes. I dealt with it, only because I knew how to. I reported it when I left, and I expect they had repaired once the room was free. I just didn’t feel like having to deal with it being repaired while I was in the room (my choice!) 9. In Room Kitchen Amenities: 5 points. All appliances worked, including the garbage disposal. Eating utensils, plates and glasses all came in 4’s. 10. Common Areas, Parking, 4 points. Lobby, Elevators, Lobby Store: One of the elevator’s was down for repairs during both of my visits. That got annoying during prime time when employees were cleaning rooms and check out times! Parking is spacious, free, and well lit. The lobby store was decently stocked. There are no vending machines available. 11. Pool, Gym, Indoor Seating, Patio Area: 5 points. Pool was clean and well secured – with towels available for use. Indoor seating - Breakfast areas are perfect for meeting, gathering and doing work. The gym was cool, clean, and stocked with cleaning supplies and towels. 12. Included Breakfast/Coffee: 5 points. On my first stay, there was no hot breakfast being served due to remodeling? Yet, there were enough alternatives served to have a good breakfast! By my second stay, they were back to offering hot breakfast items (an egg, potato and sausage choice). Throughout both stays, the offerings were above average, with fresh fruits, an inviting fruit salad offered, and the usual fare of breads, pastries, oatmeal, yogurts, as well as a well stocked coffee bar. The breakfast staff was super friendly and helpful!
