Guest Reviews
- William (6/5): - noise from trucks
- Verified traveler (4/5): - TV didn't work!! .. there was 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds.. looked like there might have been a human trafficking ring situation.. but the A/C worked great.
- Stephen (8/5): - The room was clean and the service was exemplary. We arrived 3 hours before check in and after a 17 hour drive we were allowed by management to occupy one of the rooms that were available. Very compassionate and caring staff.
- Jean (8/5): - It was convenient.
- Lucas (10/5): - Great service, best price in town
- Frances (10/5): - Very warm check-in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Definitely worth coming back
- Lois (10/5): - I always enjoy my stay
- Jerone (2/5): - We made a reservation and there's nobody at the end and there's no one answering their phones
- Dave (6/5): - You get what you pay for
- Kathleen (8/5): - Management was very hospitable, friendly and was shared information about the area.
- José (6/5): - Está bueno
- José (6/5): - The property is good, but they need to make some improvements
- Lucas (10/5): - Staff is nice and welcoming,I bn staying here past couple of weeks.. I work on road traveling. Price is great, they really clean. Owners are all bout there customers. I recommend if your in Clewiston area this the place to stay
- Pat (8/5): - Johnny the manager is a great guy. Needs some maintenance work.
- Bobby (10/5): - The owner is very nice, the customer service was great. The hotel is a little dated but the price and the hospitality more than make up for it. Definitely will stay again.
- Aaron (2/5): - It was at street level.amd.tje proprietors we're mt there at check in so we look for other places to stay.
- Migdalia (10/5): - Owner was very nice and service was great we went on Christmas eve and the service was quick and easy.
- Edward (2/5): - I’ve stayed here once before and have had no problem. I wouldn’t recommend this place first off the check in this time. She ran my card three times and it declined. I don’t know why I went to dinner and it worked just fine and then the room had three beds instead of two and the bathroom had a towel laying over the shower rack that somebody had released in the tub was filthy. Won’t be coming back here again.
- Mitch (4/5): - We arrived after 11pm. Upon checking in we were given a room with a leaky toilet and moldy carpet. I killed a giant roach 30 minutes in. The floor was very dirty. The fixtures were broken, and the a/c was very loud. The following morning we asked for a new room. They kindly obliged. The new room was also dirty with broken fixtures. There were drug addicts wandering the parking lot at night and in early in the morning. We spend a lot of time on the road and are very travel savvy and protected. If you are not that kind of traveler please find somewhere more safe to stay. The staff here is ok but this place isn't for the picky or faint of heart. It's a place to sleep and nothing more, if you even can do that beyond the noise from the highway directly outside your door.
- Edward (6/5): - Clean and comfy not the Hyatt but it worked for me.
- Peter (10/5): - Best deal in town
- Patricia (2/5): - Did not have a room for us. Had to go to another hotel.
- Lois (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay
- Lois (10/5): - I always enjoy my stay
- tyson (6/5): - Ok place
- Douglas (4/5): - Adequate for our needs as we were in town for one night for work. TV did not work. AC worked well but was noisey.
- Lois (10/5): - Enjoyed
- Cheryl (4/5): - I was appreciative they honored my request to see that the bathroom (commode, tub, floor, the entire bathroom needed to be spotless before i'd agree to use it. This issues i had were our tv didn't function the first night at all (it was salt and pepper). So we had no tv the first night. The sink was awful and needed replacing. It had a big corroded whole in its drain section. There was no one answering the bell to help withe the tv, and mic as the ofdice was closed. We weren't able to use the the microwave after coming in late from a funeral with food we purchased an hour prior 55miles way after a funeral. For these reaaons we felt the rate of almost $100/night was excessive. The room online appeared much larger than in person. The cleaning staff people were absolutely wonderful.
- Diana (6/5): Weekend traveler - Everything is being worked on for improvement. Beds clean and comfortable. Bathroom door has hole in the back of it. Microwave older with chip inside. Refrigerator freezer full of ice. People checking us in very nice and friendly. They are working hard to get place in better shape. Circumstances were created that we needed to vkme bavk to that area. We choose that place again because we knew what we would have. Prices were affordable and I am on limited income. The people were very friendly.
- Randy (10/5): - Fair enough value
- DEANA (8/5): - Very nice, cheap and clean. No frills and manager very nice. Only issue I tried to call and I had to email to get an answer but they responded right away.
- Ebony (8/5): - I would stay again
- Amanda (8/5): - The room was very clean, especially the bathroom! The shower had great water pressure and the bed was comfortable, and the fridge worked great They are pet friendly, but without an area to walk your dogs. However there is a beautiful park maybe 3 blocks away. The staff were very nice, too! My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in the parking lot.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Nothing ever thing was Excellent
- Mis (10/5): - Johnny was accomdating and really helpful.
- Rose (6/5): - The tile floors had sticky spot and something else on it when we checked in, stayed 5 days and those spots were there when we left. They never mopped before or during our stay. We got one plastic cup in the room when we checked in. No more after that. Towels could have used some bleach.
- Jeffrey E Ronan (4/5): - Only construction workers would stay there. It was old, the doors were hard to close. The walls were cracked and peeling. The bed was comfortable and it was the cheapest game in town. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- Kyle (6/5): - Well. There was a bed. And a shower which we needed. And we did not see any roaches. Tho it felt more like a $50 room than a $90 room.
- Tramina (10/5): - It was great. Very nice and clean didn’t had to worry about anything
- Caroline (6/5): - Pratique, mais loin d'être luxueux.
- Beverly (6/5): - We've stayed here in the past, not bad, this time, I took my own sheets, blankets and towels! Outlets didn't work, towel bar was hanging out of wall, bathroom sink faucet leaked, mattresses aren't comfortable! Towels were dirty! Table was broken in 1/2!
- Judith (4/5): - The rooms are extra small and the bed was extra hard. The TV system was great; the supplies were adequate. The room was clean enough.
The condition of the repainting and restoration was sloppy; e.g. overpainting on tile edges, poor wall restoration. For what we paid ($176), it wasn't worth it. We are used to much better facilities for this kind of price.
- Ivan (10/5): - Stay was very good friendly owner very helpful
- Carissa (10/5): - Clean, convenient and good value motel.
- Donald (4/5): - I request a non smoking and supposedly got anon smoking that was so smoke scented I had to get febreeze to fit rid of stink and wife was coughing all night
- Gregory (10/5): - The room was comfortable. The air conditioner was easy to turn on and it quickly cooled the room. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well stocked and the refrigerator kept our drinks cold. When there was a problem with the TV remote, the manager cheerfully and promptly corrected the issue so my friend and I could enjoy television.
- Jacqueline (10/5): - It was quiet and the stay was good
- Mary (10/5): - I enjoyed staying there people were nice and friendly Good clean room No problems
- Gladys (4/5): - The towels were stained, the shower curtain was stained and was too short, it touched the top of the tub so water got all over the floor. The door was lopsided, you could see the light on side of door at door jam.
- Lulzime (10/5): - Convince of location of our trip
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nobody home - I DID NOT STAY HERE. I made a reservation and then arrived at the hotel. The door was locked. I rang the bell several times. I called the front desk. I waited. No one came. I left the property to find another hotel.
- Robert (6/5): - No frills-thrills for sure. Pretty rich price for what ya get
- Dawn (10/5): Love to stay here - It was amazing stay. The manager was super friendly, and any tome i needed somethibg like coffee, fresh towels or anything else they would get it for me. Wifi went out and he reset it quickly for me.
- Anthony (10/5): - Rooms where super clean
- Rodney (6/5): - outdated, loud, bathroom not that clean
- Harold (4/5): Needs Maintenance Attention - The room was dark, light bulbs out, toilet seat not properly attached to the toilet, bathtub/shower needed refinishing. Overall not a really positive experience.
- William (10/5): Clewiston stay was a bargain - The room was very nice and clean . The ice was plentiful.
- Jayne (10/5): - Property was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Appreciate the option for a less expensive room on Sugar Festival weekend.
- Dennis (6/5): - Great place if your there for work…..
- Kanthiah (6/5): Disappointed - My wife developed some alergy or pest-bite reaction in the night, managed to get Benadryl from CVS in the Morning which helped to pass the next day. We spent entire outdoors and checked out before the second night to avoid a second episode. 🤔😪
- Julio (2/5): - when I arrive there they were people in front of the rooms with chairs outside in the middle of the paking lot drinking smoking and playing loud music some peaple were even just ling down on rigth in front of the rooms, the office werw lock is justy a little windoiw were you cant talk to the atendant the is NOT seccurity at all. fourtunally I foud a real hitel a couple of miles away.DONT GO THERE!!!! Pictures of the property loos fine but it is a hole in the wall a unfafe and nasty place
- Nathan (10/5): - Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Great for the price!
- Rick (10/5): - It is a bit of a dump but was better than paying $500 on the coast.
The beds were very comfortable.
- Thomas (4/5): Ned bugs and no shampoo - My wife woke up with bites on her arms. Shower curtain rod was pulling off the wall so the curtain wouldn't stay shut. No shampoo in the room.
- Joyce (6/5): - Staff very helpful.
- Stephen (10/5): - Very professional and customer-service oriented staff. Very accommodating of customer's needs and plenty of space for parking. Highly recommended!!!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Management supper friendly would stay anytime at this property
- Jarvis (10/5): Great - Great little hotel for a great price. I will stay here again when in clewiston.
- William (6/5): - Staff was friendly and very professional !!!!!!
- Chad (10/5): - If you've ever been to Clewiston you know how small of a town this is. Of course, this isn't the Ritz Carlton or anything like that, but for what I paid I think it is very much worth it. They had just come under new management and the manager that I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a small issue with the actual credit card machine and he actually just told me to come back in a day after it was fixed up. He wasn't stressing out about it or anything. I will definitely stay here again!
- Gregory (8/5): - When my friend and I entered, the room temperature was comfortable. Although the bathroom was clean, there were very few towels and wash cloths. It was also a little inconvenient that there was no digital alarm clock while most other hotel rooms I've stayed in supplied alarm clocks. The clerk was VERY helpful in showing us how to work the two TV remotes. I liked the "old school" key they supplied to unlock the room door as opposed to computer tap-in cards other hotels supply. I recommend this hotel to persons with disabilities as the building is one-story and there are no stairs to climb. For the most part, my friend and I enjoyed our stay.
- Robert (6/5): - This is a (little changed) 1950's type motel that is immediately (and I do mean Immediately) off Highway 27 in Clewiston. If you think of it as an inexpensive place to crash for the night, then you won't be disappointed. But don't expect any more than that.
- Leticia (10/5): - Yes it’s a motel and for last min it wasn’t as bad as I thought. What made this experience even better was my dad forgot his apple watch and we called the next day the cleaning people left it in the front office and were so kind to return it.
- Mary J (10/5): - Friendly, fast check in, full kitchen and large fridge. Also coffee maker, most motels don't have.
- Cristiane (6/5): - everything was clean, but old furniture and bedding
- Steven (2/5): - Overpriced, dirty, and lacking basic things such as ice.
- Ricardo (2/5): Nightmare on Clewiston - Front desk was a nightmare to check in. Nobody works the front desk and when we finally got somebody to help us, we were told not to use Hetels.com app because the motel is too small to know if there were rooms available. All I can say, “IT’S A HEADACHE TO CHECK IN.”
- Eric (8/5): - Staff
- Dylan (2/5): - Bed was outdated and hard , tv didn’t work , room smelled like an ash trey , could not feel the ac , the other residents out side having a block party and yelling at the passing by cars every three minutes til about 4 am. Didn’t even get five minutes of sleep.
- Conor (8/5): - Pet friendly but lots of questions about dog weight. Seems 20lbs max. Wanted pet fee in cash despite paying for room in person on card. Let me check in hours early and upgraded me to a room with 3 beds no cost. Old but very clean no noise or issues.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The only thing I don’t like was that the bathroom was dirty.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is little old building so you can find the deficiencies of that.
- Dawn (10/5): Good hotel - It was a grear hotel to stay at. The owner was nice and went out of his way to help with things you need in Room. Room was clean, everything worked well. I had no complaints. I needed extra days and got to stay in same room the entire time
- Marcus (8/5): Nice - was great
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Owner was very rude upon my arrival. Room fridge was leaking water, had an ironing board but no iron. Didn’t have phone in room, no pictures or mirror on the walls. Looked nothing like the pics showed online, very dissatisfied with overall visit. Will not recommend to anyone!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Good price but bathroom was not clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I. Didn't like people outside my room drinking. Loud music was playing all night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bath tub was old the sink in the bathroom water did not drain out the bed by the wall had bed bugs
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice & Clean with good bed and convenient to the marina.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Property was run down and filthy. The air conditioner did not work. The room smelled awful. Walls were thin enough to hear conversations in the next room. Not a very nice place. Run.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The rooms smelled and were not clean had to change rooms four times and still were not satisfied
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room smelled a bit musty. The bed had a slight but distinct odor of feet.
I'm sure this doesn't happen every night, however there was a loud domestic conflict raging in the parking lot at 330 in the morning. Management did not seem to be on-site to address the issue.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Place should definitely be a 1-2 star. Bathroom were falling apart and it wasn’t a busy place so didn’t understand not picking up the phone. No ones around when you ring the bell.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The vanity light outside the bathroom didn’t work. There were no tissues in the room. I booked a king bed and was given 2 double beds
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Only real down sides were only half the lights worked in the room so it was a little dark and no shampoo in the bathroom.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The place is deplorable and that is being nice. The room I was given was full of mold. The sink was not on because there was a bad washer. So instead of change it they shut the water off. By 8 pm I said Yep let's get out of here. Whether they are occupied by section 8, homeless, or drug dealers, you definitely don't want to be here.
- Herbert (2/5): - The hotel not clean broken doors no hotwater no mirror no coffee maker
- Ed (6/5): - Wi-Fi did not work. Very sketchy electrical. Nice TV.
- thomas (8/5): On the road again - Great price frig did not work but didn’t need it.
