Stevie (6/5): Lacking Customer Service - Hotel is a little more worn than it looks in the pictures but still a lovely clean stay. What was laking was any form of service. The staff/management seemed disinterested to our presence or any help required. They sat in the only chairs that were not beanbags or sunloungers near the pool and begrudgingly served us drinks and watched as we lugged over eight bags to the pickup area. The service is so fantastic everywhere in Sri lanka it was utterly disappointed to see absolutely no hospitality extended to their customers in a small hotel/villa complex. Simply not worth the money.
Verified traveler (4/5): - Good hotel building and concept let down by what can best be described as incredibly hopeless staff and poor management. If it was half the price then it would be acceptable, but having to almost beg for a towel and a second door swipe card, wait three hours for dinner to arrive, never have the room cleaned, or waiting hours for maintenance staff to open the hotel safe and for them to never return with fresh batteries for it to work again is very annoying. My first ever review for a hotel because this is the first hotel I have stayed in where I felt ripped off completely.
Ellie (10/5): Perfect retreat - A lovely hotel just metres from the sprawling beach. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and polite, no question or request is too difficult for them to answer and each day your hotel room towels are designed creatively into animal shapes! The rooms are a good size, comfy bed and good hanging space for your clothing, and the outdoor bathroom is a nice touch to your exotic holiday. There is a nice size swimming pool with plenty of loungers - in and out of the hot sun, the restaurant serves a generous continental breakfast and dinner menus are equally delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for the area. Thank you for making our stay so welcome!
Angela (10/5): A Little Gem - We had a lovely stay here. Service superb. Room very comfortable. The 'Kanteen' served freshly prepared and cooked food at reasonable prices. Easy to walk down the road in either direction to the beaches. We stayed here a total of 7 nights as we were so well looked after.
