Guest Reviews
- Jay (8/5): Clean and comfortable. - Cleanliness and Friendliness. Ease to walk for coffee or dinner or the park.... No coffee maker in the room.

- Patrick (10/5): Overall our stay was very pleasant, in a quiet area, and a very comfy bed. - It was very cozy & clean. Right in the middle of town so it’s convenient if you’re here for an event. The beds were comfy & the bathroom was super clean. Also, the vintage bathroom was fun! The lights in the room are VERY bright daylight type bulbs so it’s like a spotlight every time you turn it on. Need a lamp with soft light as an option.
The shower head was spitting water instead of steady streams.
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Dinara (10/5): - Family owned. Older building but well kept.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Stan (5/5): I'll never stay there again. - The bed was comfortable. That's about it. The rating was excellent. A total miss representation. I'm sure it was family and friends that wrote the reviews. Anyone who has spent any time on the road staying in hotels would never rate this facility as excellent!!! Way overpriced. Standard old motel sized room. Just enough space for the bed and a bathroom that is 7tf. x 5ft. with toilet, tub and sink crammed in that area. Pay the same price and stay at a Comfort Suite.
- Murray (10/5): Loved the motel! Will go back - Very friendly owners. The best sleep I’ve had in a long while. The shower water is hot and great water pressure too. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! A bit noisy in the evening but gets quiet at night
- Elizabeth (10/5): Clean and nice staff - Owners are very nice. It was very clean. O
- laura (10/5): Great location very clean - Owners are super friendly.

- Emily (10/5): It was SO GOOD!! - The staff were so great!!!!! The rooms were so clean & very nice. They made you feel so welcomed, Everything about it was so great. I’ll definitely stay here again. Nothing!!
- Mishela (5/5): It was cheap - I liked that it was cheap There were a lot of small repairs they could have done that wouldn’t take much time and would improve value a lot
- Cheryl (9/5): I would stay here again. I felt it was a good value for a short stay with a pet. Very clean. - The rooms are small, but clean and well maintained. The furnishings were comfortable, especially the bed. The motel is pet-friendly; in fact it was the only pet-friendly hotel in Savannah. It is also in the walkable downtown area close to restaurants and shops. It's an old-fashioned motel with rooms opening ti the outside. While this was not a deal-breaker for me, prefer opening into a corridor.

- Meg (8/5): Great stay when needing to be in downtown Savannah! - Room was very clean and much had been updated. 70’s vibe in the bathroom was fun…and it was very clean. Office staff was so friendly. It was all good.

- Phillip (10/5): VERY CLEAN HOTEL 10/10 WORTH THE STAY. - ROOMS AND PARKING LOT CLEAN. ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERYDAY. THE OWNERSVERY NICE AND PLEASANT. QUIET AND ESPECIALLY NO SMOKE SMELL WHATSOEVER THAT THERE WAS LITTLE TV SERVICE IT WAS AN APP TV WITH NO LOCAL AVAILABILITY OF CHANNELS
- Paul (9/5): - $15 pet fee, comfortable highway noise can be bad,
- Peter (10/5): - Very clean, everything worked, walking distance to downtown and beautiful neighborhood. Dog friendly! Very friendly and accommodating staff.

- thomas (9/5): Mostly excellent - Very friendly and helpful staff, everything clean and recently painted. Needed a kettle and a few more toiletries
- Darran (7/5): Great value for money and great stop over in a charming motel. - Comfortable and welcoming hotel.
- Ernie (8/5): I would recommend this motel for the location and easy on the budget. - Convenient location. A bit of road noise on the back set of rooms. Luckily traffic is very light as the evening progressed.
- Carl (10/5): - Long time family owned ,personal service, kind and endearing . Clean and comfy. We stayed eight days and would return over and over This is an older motel right in the historic district. A real connection to a different generation of a simpler time. Nothing fancy. Morning Keurig coffee and a flat screen TV are the modern convenience as if almost out of place. If this sounds like you, book a room now.
- Mary (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Darla (8/5): - The pillows could have been better quality; they felt like hospital pillows
- Blair (10/5): If you get a chance to stay in Savannah, stay here. We will be back next year. - The property is nicely kept and it is not outdated. It is in the historic part of town, the location was wonderful.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. There is nothing not to like.

- Cox (10/5): - The Motel was tucked away next to the town square. Even though it was next to a busy road, it was fairly quiet. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was amazing, always polite. This is a great place to stay.
- Tasha (8/5): -
- Sue (9/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Clean. - Very clean and very quiet inside our room. Comfy bed so we slept well. The only real drawback was the room smelled strongly of cleaning detergents. Bathroom was very clean but there appears to be much rust on racks, etc. Owner was very nice.
- Burchfiel (10/5): -

- Joseph (8/5): - Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in A long time
- Walter (8/5): Good place to stay. - Room was very clean and was kept that way daily. The only thing I wish was different is there is no coffee maker in the room. Good for a short stay.

- Patrick (10/5): Fantastic, little Hotel - Fishing, boating, family trip at Pickwick, upper and lower dam. Perfectly. Located near Pickwick and Pickwick, Landing and Tennessee River. Great donut shop stops along the way, so the early morning commute had that sweet spot. Staff was also extra nice and friendly.
- Robert (10/5): - Friendly manager, good housekeeping
- Clifford (8/5): Quite and clean my great granddaughters loved it - Downtown
- Jackie (10/5): - Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful

- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Delphine (9/5): Good value and central to town - Clean, close to town and routes through town. Good value for money Safety chain was not very secure and areas a little dated
- sheryl (10/5): - The hotel was very old but very well maintained. Room was small but served its purpose. Mattress was comfortable.
- Liliana (9/5): Superb - Very speedy and courteous check-in.
Good location in the center of town.
Good stay overall. Towels were worn.
- Craig (8/5): - I have stayed here several times. A great value, across from Police Station. Very close to food options, groceries, and other shopping categories. It is an old-school motorboat and, for me, I like the nostalgia.
- Bernard (7/5): Convenient, affordable, safe and comfortable motel by the courthouse. - Good location. Walkable to all of downtown and the riverfront. Room was spotless. No coffeemaker! I walked two blocks to MacDonalds for coffee. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Bathroom is tiny; no counter or shelf space for toiletries.
- Alice (8/5): - The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The Mexican restaurant and the restaurant for breakfast that they recommend were both very good.
- Robert (8/5): A very clean and well-run, value motel near the Shiloh battlefield. - Very clean and good location for an overnight stay while visiting the nearby sites, especially the Shiloh Battlefield. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and equipped with everything I needed.
- William (6/5): As ecpeted fpor teh prcie adn style. - Owner/Attendant was pleasant and helpful. The room was what I expected. Basic bur clean and efficient Bathroom was small with no area for placing personal items. Shelf over the toilet was papered over and very antiquated. Patch on the floor under the sink where tile had been removed.
- Jeff (10/5): - Friendly and quick
- David (8/5): - Nice clean room
- Brittni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brittni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (7/5): It was good enough for one night stay. - The location was good and the price was very good. The room is very basic and not very pretty. The soap, shampoo, and towels were disappointing.
- Robert (10/5): - Absolutely pleased with the Savannah Motel!
Gave the 5 star because it fit my travel needs perfectly,
(traveling solo w/2 small dogs, and Shiloh Battlefield was the 'must see').
If you want room service, mints under your pillow at bed time, or a pool with a full bar, this isn't the place.
But if you want value, cleanliness, good free wi-fi, and close proximity to historical sites and fishing, go ahead and book a room here.
With set reservations for 3 nights, and a previous conversation with a gentleman on the phone regarding pets, I arrived and was checked in by Mike.
H was very informative, and not a bad sense of humor when I locked myself out of my room less than 15 minutes later :)
Room is average size, vinyl LVP flooring (quick clean up), King size bed (comfortable, with good bedding), fridge that actually was cold, small microwave, and a good flat screen with a huge channel selection including Showtime.
The bathroom is dated, BUT, very clean and functional. Drains and toilet were good, but the highlight is the shower.
Water as hot as you want it, with the pressure of a fire hose. It was absolutely wonderful. Also, (and I am not certain), but it sure felt that there is a water softening system there.
Julie, one of the staff workers, was very sweet and friendly!
We talked about everything from our dogs, to the owners' history with the motel. :)
Already planning another trip to Savannah next Spring, and there is no question where I'll be staying.

- Suzanne (10/5): Best little motel in Tennessee - I stay in many hotels, Hiltons and IHG mostly. This was more enjoyable, cleaner, and friendlier, I wish there was a Savannah Motel in every city I travel to. . The mirror in the bathroom was too high. Or I am too short. Haha
