• Gyurcsik (6/5): The building itself is very nice, the rooms inside, although I can accept some compromises. - The staff and owners were also very nice and helpful. Close to the sea, own (shared) umbrella and bed. The air conditioning was old but worked well. The shower was nice and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was a bit monotonous. Not really varied. The room had a sliding window, but it was cramped and difficult to move. I was surprised that there was no carpet, but that's understandable. Many guests would come in with sandy feet, and then it would be impossible to clean.
• Mr_lefrog (3/5): Poor - Location is good. That's it. Ah, design idea is good. Sheets with holes, unfriendly stuff. The vacation was almost spoiled. You pay for the sea view - you get the garden view, construction works at the property, non-working locks at the doors, slow internet. They close the front door at 8 pm and you should find the "entrance" between walls with no light.

• Choucry (3/5): Not worth the money - Hotel Blue Note has a great location directly to the beach The room is full of aints, no hot water at night and morning time because it is a solar powered heater which is ridiculous, the bathroom smells like humidity, no shampoo, no shower gel, no coffee, no water, no room cleaning unless u ask for it. It isn't worth the money, very expensive compared to the value of money. One more thing to add they only accept cash, which is also ridiculous these days.
• Derrick (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Air conditioning in the room worked great. Buildings were all concrete which made the WiFi hard to get, especially in the rooms. I arrived after 4 pm and my room wasn’t ready for another 15-20 minutes. I was shown my room as the maid was leaving it and was told it was clean. I immediately went into the bathroom and saw a big hairball on the floor. There was another one on the wall in the shower. The maid was still in the hall so I asked her to clean it and she did. Not a good way to start.

Free parking great if you’re travelling around.and beach front side view. Well the sheets were pressed and clean but had stains on them, and holes in them. As we were there two nights assumed the room would be cleaned next day and it wasn’t got in at 11pm and ants on the bed sheet. No one was around so we shook it down and went to bed. ‘Mentioned all this on checkout but they didn’t seem to bothered so just left. The sea was lovely beach was ok but water was too rough to go for a proper swim as slightly out of season, we moved on to Mirissa

• Lenka (6/5): Needs some renovation and far better cleaning - great location on a decent beach. if you decide to go to Narigama beach, which is better and bigger, it's walking distance. you can also walk to numerous restaurants, atm, souvenir shop - everything is in this area comfy bed terribly dirty room - we got dust, hairs, sand, stains... the bathroom looked like it was just sprayed with water, it was wet and still dirty. the room not well maintained. dirty walls, curtains, doors, needs renovation immediately NO WIFI IN THE ROOM. we only had (slow) wifi in the corner of the balcony. so if you want to plan the next day online, you're welcome to drench in rain. inefficient AC

• Itmalzin (4/5): Disappointing - Location was good because this property is on the beachfront We got a bad experience, we went out for dinner and when we return the hotel door we're locked with chains and we could not get into the hotel, we call the phone posted outside the hotel and told the person we were locked out, we waited for an hour for the receptionist finally came to open the door for us. This is really unacceptable, she knew we were going to another restaurant down the road because we wanted to eat a full fish, she was the one who suggested the restaurant and then she locked us out the hotel. I have travel to many places and this never happen to us before. Wow very frustrating. This should never happen!
• Wendee (7/5): Good hotel nice view - Property is beach front and center to every good night bars in the area. We stayed for 2 nights l. But didn’t offer housekeeping or even change the towels. The property does not take card payments. I had to withdraw and gave it to them in cash. After we checked out they cancelled our booking as no show. But it’s not true.

The food was very tasty. Employee of the year goes to Teddy 10/10 would pet again. The initial room assigned to us didn't lock from the outside so if we were to leave the room, there's no stopping anyone from entering. The staff were friendly but didn't seem to know what food/facilities were available at the time and one even took it upon themselves to change our order without informing us because certain items weren't available.

If someone is booking this hotel through the Booking.com or other applications please make confirmation one day before they are Ok to receive us or not.. It was a very bad experience.. The phone number is not works. I call them.At least a 10 time there is no one answered the mainline. I found a contempt number through the Facebook. Finally one person answer my call and he said he cancel my booking at the last moment.I didn't receive any mails any phone calls about the cancellation.
