- jack (10/5): - Such a lovely hotel! Beautiful architecture, lovely staff. Breakfast was so cute, very personal and intimate with a lovely authentic choice. Rooftop is stunning, really peaceful. Bedroom was luxurious, and the water pressure in the bathroom was unreal!!! Air conditioning was very good. All round a great experience and will return if I visit Marrakech in the future!

There are other better options. - Kathena Lifestyle Hotel – Do not be misled by the hotel’s good location and nice architecture — everything else was a disaster. The air-conditioning in our room was not cooling the room despite 40°C heat outside, and staff not only failed to fix it but made it worse by switching it to heating mode. Their lack of basic competence left us with the most uncomfortable night of our entire trip in Morocco. We cut our stay short and left early, yet the problems continued: the hotel charged us 220 MAD for a shuttle when a normal taxi costs only 40 MAD. This felt dishonest and exploitative. In short, Kathena Lifestyle Hotel combines poor service, lack of comfort, and unfair practices. There are far better and more trustworthy options in Marrakech — do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

- Sikandar (8/5): - So I will start with the staff. 10/10 absolutely brilliant and caring staff, they were helpful and kind and always had a smile on their face. Initially when we arrived they gave us a room with a king size bed when we requested 2 single beds but upon asking they asked us to wait for an hour and it would be ready which was convenient because we had time to go get dinner as it was late. In terms of the room its was spacious and however there was a few things about the room which we did not like. The shower did not have a door or a net it was like a open shower which meant that water would drip onto the main floor of the bathroom. Also there was no windows in our room or toilet which was not ideal because at night it would get hot and the AC was not great at keeping the room cool but i dont khow if it was because of the temp of the country itself or the AC. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and used it a few times , you have to let the staff know 2 hours in advance to warm it up but even then it did not seem as hot as a jacuzzi could be and it was not the cleanest but that could be because it was on the roof so open to flys and pieces of leafs. Location wise it was extremely ideal, literally a 5 minute walk to the main markets shops and for any excursions we booked externally the meeting points where a 5 minute walk max and compared to the other riads ( morrocon hotels) it was not secluded and felt extremely safe.

The property is impeccably clean and well-maintained, which really adds to the sense of comfort. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. Despite being centrally located, the hotel manages to offer a peaceful and quiet environment, which is perfect if you want to relax after a day of exploring. If you're looking for a calm oasis with all the charm of the Riad area, this hotel is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

- Serena (10/5): The best riad in Marrakesh! - An incredible jewel in the Medina. Extremely clean, gorgeous architecture, very comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom! We received a welcome drink and snacks on arrival and the staff treated us like family. The breakfast was delicious and extremely generous. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The staff are professional, the breakfast is great , and the quality of the rooms is fantastic, very large room , fully furnished , no problem with hot water or the cleaniless. It was very very clean . The riad is also very quiet , I would definatly reccomemd if you want to stay in a riad but also like your more modern lifestyle.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Love love love this stay - Great riad in the heart of Medina. You are only a 15 minute walk from most tour meet up's, food, shopping and drinks. Less than a 30 minute ride from airport. The ac wasn’t working and the beds should have been a double vs single. The manger fixed everything the next morning. Breakfast is included in meal which is different everyday and very good. Great location, staff and amenities. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it worked. I would stay here again - felt very safe and easy to navigate the area.

You can take #19 bus from the airport (30DH/3EUR for round trip, as of Mar2020) if you don't want to pay for the cheating taxi drivers at car pool at airport. Staffs are very kind and nice. You can definitely enjoy your pleasant stay at beautiful inner garden as well as rooftop. You will be surprised how it is peaceful, quiet, and calm inside the building even it is just close to the one of the noisiest market in the world. Also you can enjoy good tea, breakfast, and Morocco massage at the hotel.

Location - Across the road from shops and away from the hussle which is good - 5 -10 mins walk from market and the mall are all pretty close by Facilities Shower was very good and hot if needed Bed was comfortable I paid about £270 for 4 nights - I think it was worth it. The breakfast is served to you so they bring out egg and toast! There was no cats and dogs All the staff are so welcoming and lovely

They also arrange for pick up and drop from airport at reasonable charges- which is great if you are arriving at late hours. The place does need a little ‘love & care’ though. Breakfast and decor around central pool can also be improved. Bathroom shower isn’t too great either. The location is great though, close to central square, yet at a quiet spot.

- Fabiana (10/5): - We had a wonderful time in Morocco, many thanks to our Riad that accommodated to all of our needs. Great piece of heaven in the heart of frentic Marrakesh. The whole staff was courteous and efficient, extra props to Abdel at the front desk! He was amazing! Would come back and stay here again in a heart beat!

- Verified traveler (8/5): Average - The Riad was Ok I would say. Nothing extraordinary. Location is perfect. We were greeted with the famous Moroccan tea and taken to our room. It was a standard double room but we were expecting a TV at least. Rooms were clean although we found a small cockroach on our last day and the room was cold and the only thing to heat the room was the air condition, which was not doing a good job, we had to go under the blanket to warm ourselves. The main reason we chose this was so that we can use the hot tub on the roof but we were told it had broken down. Also we never got to have breakfast on the roof as on our last day it rained the night before and when asked they informed us that they will get it ready by 12, by then we would be long gone. The Wi-Fi is by far the worst I have seen so far. Never go to the restaurant next door as the food is rubbish there. Breakfast was average. But we loved the Moroccan tea.
- dan (10/5): first class - This riad is in an excellent location being only a 5min walk from the main square, the riad its self had all the amenities you would need, the staff were excellent, and nothing was to much bother. The rooms tastefully decorated, and very spacious. And the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay in this riad again.
- Ma Kristina (8/5): Cozy hotel. Near Jmaa El Fna - The stay in this hotel is like you feel like you are at home. Cozy, clean, and quiet. The staff was kind, respectful, and approachable. We recommend this place if you need a quiet place but at the same time near to attractions like Jmaa el Fna.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel close to Jemaa el Fna - Nice and clean Riad although hard to find, don’t let yourself be impressed by the narrow and dark streets to get there. Once you get in you will be impressed in the inside. It is nice and clean. Friendly staff and very abundant and great breakfast
- Christy (10/5): A lovely escape to Marrakech - Riad Tahili is a wonderful place to base yourself in Marrakech. Very close to the square but an oasis of calm, I felt like an absolute queen due to the wonderful experience provided by Mohamed and team.
- Ali (10/5): Riad Tahili Tucked Away - This Riad is tucked away but that was best part. It is really nice to be out of the way. The Riad was really clean, comfortable; it was our first experience of Riad so that is good. Unfortunately I did not like the front door being closed and you had to knock for someone to open. The security dogs that guide the entrance to the courtyard were always barking when we went pass and sometimes cars are parked so you end up having dogs barking just less than a meter from you. They really vicious dogs and sometimes they are let lose and I have to ask if its safe to leave and that really annoyed me. But apart from that the staff were absolutely 110% helpful, kind, friendly and welcoming. I never used the common areas but it looked quite comfortable. I didn't like the fact that tea and coffee were only offered in common areas and I thought we will have kettle in our room as I do love my hot drinks but that was not the case. Also no mini fridge in the rooms so I had to put my drinks in common fridge in the kitchen which I didn't like but had to do but it was okay though. I loved the jacuzzi and it was probably used by me only through that whole week I was staying. Riads are not for me though but they might be for you unless I find one that has all the amenities I want in the bedroom and I don't have to knock the front door to be let in.
- George (8/5): Great raid, but avoid front facing rooms - The riad was lovely, the location, breakfast and the hammam were excellent and the staff helpfull. Unfortunately our room (facing the front of the riad) had skylights in the toilet and bathroom that must have been right next to air conditioner motors or exhaust fans that were incredibly noisy, I needed earplugs to sleep and it was not at all relaxing to be in the room because of the annoying noise. I am sure that other rooms would be fine, and the riad was otherwise great.
