- M (8/5): Good location but the dog barking at night!! - A great location on Agonda beach and a basic room with ceiling fan and outside bathroom, which just basically means there is no roof. Food was good as was the service from the friendly and helpful staff. My reason for marking down on the comfort is due to the nightly dog barking/howling, which seems to affect the whole agonda area so not just isolated to this hotel. There are alot of stray dogs and during the day, no problem but at night typically every night between 3am to 4am all the dogs start to bark and howl, I've never encountered anything like it! Also we're not talking about 3 or 4 dogs, from the sounds of it I'd say 20 - 30 dogs if not more! And it goes on for anything from 30 mins to 1 hour. Even with ear plugs in the noise is an issue making a good night sleep virtually impossible unless you're a heavy sleeper. The area really needs to do something about this, I don't know what can be done but it's very frustrating and annoying for tourists, locals may have got used to it but if you're here on holiday for a few days it could be an ussue. I've stayed the week before in the north of Goa and although plenty of stray dogs, they didn't bark and howl at night like these dogs. Personally because of that I would not come back to Agonda Beach!

Inte mycket av hög musik på kvällar vilket vi uppskattade, dock när det var lite fest så var det god stämning med mycket musik. Vi kunde hyra både moppe och en Bullit 500 på plats. Kanon. Nära till bygata med bra variation på matställen.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is in a great location at the quiet end of the beach . The staff is friendly and helpful and the food we had at the restaurant was excellent. Our time on the beach was shared only with some cows and dogs , hardly any people ! We had a beach view cabin and loved falling asleep to the waves every night. The dogs are very loud at night up and down the whole beach but are very friendly - bring earplugs !

The hut is basic as you would expect but very comfortable. The only downside is the constant barking of the dogs on the beach at night although there is nothing the Hotel can do to stop this.

- Vivienne (10/5): Quiet and relaxing - The staff in the restaurant make your stay memorable. The food is excellent and always served with a smile by Amir and Rudi. You are known by your Christian name throughout your stay which is a lovely touch and makes you want to return. The fresh fish dishes are really good and very good value. The accommodation is a typical basic Goan shack and took a bit of getting used to however, being able to go to sleep every night hearing the waves crashing on the shore certainly made up for the basic facilities. Duck n Chill is at the northern end of Agonda beach and is very quiet. The beach is very clean and is cleaned daily in the afternoon and you are not disturbed by any beach sellers which makes it very relaxing. The accommodation will organise an airport pickup and return which is very reasonable and very reliable. We had a very relaxing 8 day stay in one of 6 shacks in the main part behind the restaurant and would think about returning again.

- Al (10/5): Great resort on a beautiful beach - We had a very warm welcome when we arrived after a long journey. The taxi from the airport, driven by the wonderful kiran, was arranged by the duck and chill. Lovely, very friendly staff at the resort which is right on a beautiful beach with a chilled vibe; not too busy, nor too quiet. The food at the duck and chill was excellent, especially the fresh fish. Sandy and all the staff were wonderful and attentive, a massive thank you to each and every one of them!!! We stayed for 5 days but could have happily stayed longer, if we visit Goa again we will definitely revisit at the duck and chill. Al and Suzanne
- Stuart (10/5): fantastic beach holiday - brilliant location on quiet, beautiful beach. Basic but comfortable cabins for a reasonable price. Excellent, warm, welcoming staff. Good, affordable restaurant and bar with good service. Overall a very good place to stay.
- Simon (10/5): Definitely return. - Had a great stay and would definitely return. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Understand this is a beach hut resort, as such it was fantastic. Rooms cleaned daily, staff really helpful and knowledgeable, nothing seemed to much trouble. Even asked me what fish i would like for lunch as they were going to the market! Beach itself is lovely, shallow waters would make it suitable for those with children.
- David (8/5): An excellent stay spoiled by local ruffians - I had a very enjoyable stay for 5 days and because of this I decided to stay another 5. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Unfortunately on my 5th day there was a local disagreement between the staff and a group of Agonda ruffians. This escalated to acts of violence and vandalism and much of the fabric of the DucknChill was damaged. I wish the staff who were injured a speedy recovery and hope that the owners can quickly repair their property and get their excellent business up and running again as soon as possible.
- Nelya (8/5): Friendly staff on the quiet side of the beach - Duck n Chill isn't a fancy resort with all the frills. You get what you pay for a comfy bed, fresh towels and service with a smile. loved my stay here and would recommend it to friends.
