Guest Reviews
- Andrew (10/5): - We were very impressed with the friendly welcome where Grace knew who we were and gave a genuine smile and greeting. The room was airy, the bathroom had a lovely shower and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was excellent with an excellent choice, well cooked and nothing was too much trouble. Parking is available on site but there is street parking too so that was a bonus. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay looked after by lovely people. There wasn't anything to complain about
- Sara (10/5): Very comfy, lovely room, not too many other people, friendly staff, great breakfast - Very comfy, lovely room, not too many other people, friendly staff, great breakfast
- William (10/5): Llandudno, more like Llandudyes - Easy parking, welcoming staff, excellent room. Breakfast room vibes and service were impeccable. Breakfast options and quality was top draw. Honesty bar is a nice touch. We came for Super Furry Animals, would have stayed for longer if possible. I would suggest a thorough review of the hash browns.
- Adam (9/5): Excellent overall stay and I’d return which says it all. All staff were friendly, polite and tentative. A younger girl G - Located near the town and seafront. Clean. Good room size. Modern bathroom with the room itself retaining older fashioned character. Excellent all round. My only personal mini complaint was the bed. I found the mattress too hard. The pillows were far from comfortable. Just personal preference.
- Paul (10/5): - Incredible building, like staying in a little piece of history. Hosts were really nice and super helpful. Thank you!
- Thorsten Leipzig (8/5): -
- Jamie (10/5): Great place to stay, will be returning - Character and individuality just out of town Nothing
- Greg (10/5): Very relaxing and enjoyable, hosts were very accommodating and helpful, breakfast was top draw and the whole place has a - Beautiful hotel in a great place, very comfortable room, bed was massive and comfy, room was tasteful and clean. Didn’t have any issues
- robert (9/5): Lovely 'family' run hotel, very nice, well situated, very comfortable, excellent breakfast. - Excellent breakfast, lovely family run hotel, Grace in particular was absolutely lovely. When I just happened to mention an issue with the shower Grace offered to move us to another room (which was actually an upgrade for no extra). Very Comfortable. The shower in the room we were in initially was over a bath but was very difficult to get the right temperature. They really need to replace it with a walk-in shower.
- Ralph (10/5): Lovely staff and great breakfasts -
- Jane (10/5): -
- Mike (9/5): Excellent Location , quality Room and fabulous breakfast .All combined with Friendly Service. - Location , quality of the room. Nothing
- James (10/5): An ideal hotel in Northern Wales! - The location is perfect. More important however, was the incredible staff. Grace is one of the finest hostesses (and manager) we’ve encountered in many years of travel! The breakfast is outstanding and the room was well decorated and very comfortable! We’ll be back! We liked everything about this B&B!
- Richard (10/5): -
- Marcel (8/5): Wunderschönes Haus an bester Lage - Freundliches Personal. Ruhige Lage, aber Fussdistanz zum Ort. Leckeres Frühstück in einem schönen Raum.
- James (10/5): -
- Dawn (10/5): - Sam was Amazing , communication, Attention to Detail and facilities 10/10.
Thankyou so much for making my In Laws Diamond Anniversary so Special
You have a very special Place
Highly Reccomend
- Amanda (1/5): Disappointed for money paid. - Bed was comfortable breakfast was good Room was shabby ceiling had brown stains on it , very poor quality for £205 we paid , not worth it we have stayed in much finer establishments for less money ! Save yours everyone and go to one of the others down the road. The description of the property is misleading stating a sea view however it is not near the seafront at all and you can see the sea slightly from the right of the window. The place feels generally like a bit of a work in progress.
- Natalie (10/5): Fabulous! - The hotel is quirky, stylish and cosy. The team are so friendly and the breakfast is delicious. There is nothing to dislike!
- Buckley (10/5): - Excellent location. Staff brilliant grace what a nice young lady Nothing
- Paul (10/5): A wonderful place to stay and experience. - A character building well managed by Grace. Room was ready on arrival nice room well presented. Relaxing stay. The breakfast is one word: incredible.. The choice and quality. Nothing
- Darren (9/5): We loved it, and will definitely be back. - The decor and original features were gorgeous. The room was super spacious and very comfy. The view was stunning.
Grace as a host was amazing, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. A small fridge in the room would have been useful for storing bottled water, we don't like tap water.
Also, a filter coffee machine in the room would have elevated our stay - instant coffee is not good.
- Jacob (10/5): A beautiful place to stay! - Staff were very friendly, and easy to contact if anything was needed. The breakfast was far better than I expected - with a plethora of choices in all departments. The wild goats in the area were spotted in the garden outside on 2 occasions which was magical! The ceiling in my room was a little low at points, but I am rather tall and chose to have the attic room so I cant complain!
- Stephen (10/5): -
- Vaughan (9/5): -
- barry (8/5): Ery enjoyable - Excellent
- graham (8/5): Not 5 star, clean and tidy but needs attention to detail - Breakfast was superb
Room was very clean
Grace was excellent Scaffolding at front of building- not mentioned anywhere .
Minimum parking spaces .
No fan in bathroom to let heat escape.
Sash window broken in room- dangerous as only opens from bottom, should open from top as well but been painted over.
Front of building needs a face lift and tidy up.
- Clare Hobson (10/5): - Lovely staff.
Great location.
Great building. N/A
- elizabeth (9/5): Gorgeous quirky period property - Fantastic period building , quirky rooms which were all different , met by Grace a lovely professional young lady who at only 24 knew her stuff !! Will definitely visit this hotel again Scaffolding outside so couldn’t get nice pis to share but this is obviously temporary
- Maxine (9/5): Idyllic relaxing room - Location to town five minutes
Super bed quiet room
Very clean and a fantastic breakfast
Staff very friendly and helpful
- Russell (8/5): -
- Shane (10/5): Warm welcome, great room, fab breakfast. Historic surroundings and well placed to explore Llandudno. - Its style, its history and comfort Nothing
- Caleb (9/5): Lovely stay with great looks out the window, walking distance to high street - The room was very plush and welcoming. The decor was top notch and very cosy - I enjoyed the view from the window, Just a very small thing, I think with such a wonderful room, the TV should be a smart one that goes online.
- David (9/5): - The guest house was stunning.we had a lovely room and breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice.
- Tony (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, comfortable bed, nice breakfast room. Some nice architectural features. Bathroom ceiling badly stained, headboard discoloured and dirty bedroom window. Scaffolding in front of the building not very welcoming.Website photos are very flattering and I would not give it a 5Star rating.
Overpriced!
- Denise (6/5): Quiet location
. - Quiet street and easy parking no fee Wasn't the room I booked
I booked jungle theme on first floor
We were in a different room on the second floor
No lift both in our sixties
- Tess (10/5): - Good location.
A perfect host.
Grace was very friendly and helpful Scaffolding outside
- Fiona (10/5): Memorable - Original features and each room was bespoke.
Clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

- arnold (10/5): Lovely stay at Escape - Sam and Grace welcomed us and we're so helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. We have already booked again to come back We struggled getting an uber but taxis were really easy to get to the hotel
- Ian (10/5): An exceptional host at a luxury boutique b&b - Grace was an exceptional and knowledgable host. Breakfast was fantastic and the room (room 3) was really comfortable with a beautiful view. It was really quiet although within easy reach of main attractions.
- Carena Blackwell (10/5): Great B&B - Our stay was lovely and Grace our host was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, we will be definitely going back. Also great choice for breakfast.
- robert (10/5): An excellent bnb a quiet location within walking distance of the town centre. - Spacious rooms in a traditional Villa tastefully modernised. Enthusiastic and welcoming staff. Still in the process of renovating outside areas but no disturbances during our stay.
- Andrew (9/5): Fantastic property, excellent rooms and so friendly and accommodating. Superb!!! - This B&B was fantastic and would highly recommend. It is very close to the great orme which is a must do activity if you are in Llandudno. I found the lady who run the B&B to be extremely pleasant, friendly and accommodating. The room was very cosy, stylish and felt luxurious. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well every night of my stay. The breakfast room was equally nice as the room and the table was laid beautifully for breakfast which was one of the best English breakfast I have ever had - sausage and bacon of extremely high quality and the whole breakfast was delicious. I was also impressed by the fact you could have croissants and also toast as a starter before the main breakfast and as much coffee / juice as you wanted. I think the price was very good value considering breakfast was included and could not find a single fault with my stay. I can see why this place is so highly rated I would return here in a heartbeat. :-) Nothing.

Staff provided recommendations for local area all of which were gorgeous - da Venezia especially! They also put up birthday decorations for my boyfriend for an extra cost but so worth it. Would highly recommended to other couples

Eventually had to report to the police

- Paul (10/5): - This B&B is excellent and is definitely a 5 star The room was a good size and exceptionally clean .
We went for my wife's birthday and I contacted them before our stay to arrange for a bunch of flowers to be put in room on our arrival.
And they did not let me down the flowers were fab and they even wrote a card for my wife..

- Adrian (8/5): The escape boutique - The staff were lovely very friendly , internal period features had been kept which was great to see The pictures on booking.com of the outside are out of date, the exterior is in need of renovation, if I'd of seen the outside as it is now I'd of given it a miss ,
- Stevan Yates (10/5): - This is a beautiful B&B to stay in.
It was clean, warm, welcoming everything you want in a B&B. Everyone was lovely, friendly and polite.
From the nice polite text from Grace in the morning to Sam a lovely man who had plenty of advice about the surrounding area ie places to visit places to eat and I can see what he ment when he said he came on holiday and decided to stay and the lovely ladies serving breakfast. Llandudno as a place is lovely. Its clean not too busy like say a Blackpool but still plenty to do and places to eat.
We loved our long weekend stay here.
Try it if you don't believe me.
Thank you all Steve n Gail. Barnsley xx

- Carmel (10/5): Highly recommend - Friendly staff. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Also, I was pleased to see some nice biscuits and quality tea in my room. So many places don't provide them these days, but as soon as I see a quality biscuit my impression of the accommodation is great. It's the small details that go a long way with me. I liked everything
- Louise (5/5): - Location & the look of the property Lovely looking building and located in a good location with just a small stroll to the centre of Llandudno. Received a nice welcome from the owner who carried our suitcase to our room. We had a pretty small & basic bedroom for the price we paid. First hotel/B&B we've stayed in that didn't provide you with a bottle of water in your room. Shower was a good size and water pressure was good, toilet was very noisy, almost like one on an aeroplane 😂
Breakfast in our opinion was poor, we didnt enjoy the undercooked hash brown & undercooked rather large mushrooms the first morning so the 2nd morning we opted for a smaller breakfast but our request for very well done bacon was ignored (we received bacon that could of still had a pulse, it had barely seen a grill) aswell as our other order being completely wrong, at that point we didnt want to make a fuss with other guests there so we left our plates full, packed & left. We did email the hotel with our feedback as we didnt want to leave a poor review on their website but we havnt received anything back from them. There are soo many lovely hotels & B&B's to choose from in Llandudno so when we return next year we will not be staying at the Escape Boutique.
- David (9/5): -
