• Gavin (10/5): Great overall hotel for Madrid travel. - The check in was easy. Rooms were clean and spacious. There’s no elevator that we saw, but the property is only up two flights of stairs.

• Katy (10/5): This was such a charming spot and perfect location for a mix of intimate setting and tourist central - The unit was terrific. It had the charm, the comfort, the sophistication, and the necessary amenities to bring us peace about our stay. The lobby provided coffee/tea and also always had a basket of apples available to the guests. Because there are only 8 or so rooms that can be reserved, this location is more of an intimate and exclusive reservation. The balcony was so wonderful, it felt like those balcony's from the movies. It offered a view to a chirpy and cheerful neighborhood. It is also important to note that the neighborhood was a peaceful and safe one. We weren't coming home until the early hours of the day, yet there was never any fear about whether the location we were in was safe or not. Overall, our reservation at Armesto Rooms made our trip that much more memorable. The booking process itself was slightly difficult and a little bit sketchy. Had I not committed to this stay, I would have said it was a scam. However, the stay truly was wonderful, and I am so happy I did not give up on the booking process. Another thing to note is that there is not alot of counter space. There is not enough counter space in the sink area nor in the shower area. There is also no full body mirror to make sure my outfits were stellar.

Bed was comfortable (would have loved an extra couple of pillows though!) the facilities were great, shower was good, heating in the room was great too. Found the codes easy to use to gain entry. Will definitely stay here again!!! Location was super convenient also. Would have loved a full length mirror in the room!!
• Cristina (10/5): Lovely, warm, quiet, clean and comfortable place in the heart of Madrid. - Location is really excellent - right in the middle of everything, walking distance to Prado, Atocha, and really accessible walking to all of central Madrid. Lots of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance as well. Quiet, clean rooms, great staff, would highly recommend. The building does not have an elevator, so just be ware if you are traveling with a big suitcase or need an elevator.

• Ming (8/5): absolutely excellent location, but everything else is fairly mediocre - The hotel’s location is excellent. It is on the same small street as the DoubleTree by Hilton, and within walking distance of the city’s three major museums and Puerta del Sol Square, making it extremely convenient for sightseeing. The price is only half of Hilton and one tenth of the Palace Hotel. The room was overall quite clean. Our small balcony faced the narrow street, which gave it a nice local atmosphere. The bathroom layout was somewhat unusual: the toilet was in a fully enclosed space, the sink was positioned right near the entrance, and the shower was in a separate semi-enclosed area. Although the setup felt a bit unconventional at first, everything you would expect was provided, and it functioned well during our stay.Every morning, the hotel also provided coffee, small snacks, and apples, which was a thoughtful touch. It was nice to grab a quick coffee and a piece of fruit before heading out for the day. To be honest, this can hardly be called a hotel. It is more like a few small rooms inside a large apartment building. There is no reception desk, and staff are rarely on site. Entry to both the apartment building and your room relies entirely on access codes provided in advance. If you’re hoping to ask for restaurant recommendations or sightseeing tips, you’re basically on your own—better ask ChatGPT. The room itself is quite small. Once we opened two suitcases, there was barely any space left to walk. There was no sofa or chair, so the only place to sit was on the bed, which felt inconvenient. On our last night, music from the bar/nightclub nearby continued until around 11:30 p.m. The heavy, pounding bass made it genuinely difficult to fall asleep. If you are sensitive to noise, this could be a significant drawback. We paid more than €280 for two nights, without breakfast included. Considering the price, it’s hard to justify the value—apart from the excellent location, there isn’t much else to explain the cost.

• Jorge (10/5): Si vas a Madrid recomendable al 100% - La atención de 10, llegamos pronto y nos dieron 2 horas antes la habitación de la hora prevista, eso da a gusto, igualito que en Barcelona que si llegas antes solo te da la opción que te cobra un suplemento si quieres la habitación antes. Me gustó todo, la habitación bonita y bien limpia
