- Christina (10/5): One of the best stays we have had in awhile. - The staff was very nice and polite. The breakfast was hot and plenty to choose from and the location was great. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

- Hopkins (3/5): Musty room, phone in room did not work, mediocre breakfast, great shower pressure. - The water pressure of the shower was awesome. The hall had a musty mess, then when we got into our room the musty smell increased 10 fold. Then I decided to call the front desk and the room's phone did not work at all. Then my wife talked me out of making a fuss. Later that night had a horrid head ache and I swear it was because of the smell. I have stayed at his hotel several times and never had any issues before, but I was very unpleased this time. Breakfast, I did not like the flavor of the white gravy - not sure what was going on there.

There was a problem with my check in and she did not even try to help just told me oh well you can’t check in. All the while she had a mouth full of food that was falling out while she was talking. Her manager finally fixed it. 👎
- Jonathan (1/5): Musty, broken, and overpriced - The beds were comfortable and breakfast was hot and fresh There was an unmistakable smell of mold as soon as I walked in, super musty. After I got settled and unpacked I went to use the restroom and experienced a most unpleasant pinch of my leg. I guess nobody checks these things before a guest arrives. The staff offered to move to another room but after unpacking and relaxing it just wasn't worth it. The beds are very comfortable, the sheets were clean. For such a small town like Luling for what I paid and what I got I recommend the Best Western though I haven't stayed there any stay is better than the experience I had.

- Kathie (5/5): I would probably stay somewhere else next time - Breakfast Only saw staff at front desk twice during 3 night stay. Front door was never locked to hotel. There was not a locked door on the exercise room, in fact the door was always open. It was in a remote location and I did not feel safe to use, especially since no staff at front desk. I got something in the small market. Had to leave my money at the front desk with a note because no staff in sight. This was in the afternoon. My bathroom was only cleaned once. I never got any refills of coffee in my room. My bed was only made once.

Bed could have been lower since this is a handicap room, but we travel with a small step stool for this reason. Breakfast was good, hot coffee all night in the lobby. Utility carts for luggage were small, so larger ones would have been better.
