- Eileen (10/5): Looking forward to another stay at Staybridge. - We were traveling from Michigan to Florida. We stopped in Miamisburg because family and friends live in the area. We were able to host a get together in the breakfast area and alcove for our group of 10. I had cleared this with the staff ahead of time. We had a wonderful time A little difficult to navigate the area.

- Skylyn (10/5): Amazing service and SUPER clean!! - Extremely clean, the house keepers do an amazing job and thoroughly clean EVERYTHING. I have seen them take hours on one room ensuring they have covered every square inch. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and super attentive! This hotel is located in the perfect place. Plenty of stores and restaurants to eat and shop at all within walking distance. Very safe and clean area. We could not be more happy with our stay.

- Ralph4878 (8/5): Frustrating, But They Made It Right - I chose to stay at this property as it was pet friendly and I needed a place to stay with my two floofs while breaking up a 14-hour drive. I called ahead of time to make sure I had what may be needed (vaccine records, etc...,) and to confirm the rate on their website, which indicated "$50 for up to two pets for 1-6 nights." This was confirmed. At check-in, I was asked to pay $100 by the less-than-enthusiastic front desk associate. She told me, "No, it's $50/pet." When I showed her the website language, she simply shrugged and told me there was nothing she could do. As the room rate was nonrefundable at this point and I was beat from driving several hours, I just paid it.
The suite was nice, if not a bit sterile...but I wasn't expecting much character. Bed was very comfortable and linens were fine; shower had seen better days but was functional and clean. Kitchen was great for my needs (eating takeout), though the refrigerator made all kinds of noise, constantly. All-in-all, though, a clean, comfortable room.
Following my stay, I received an email to review the property, which I did. I mentioned the disconnect (i.e., the innaccurate language.) on the website and the fact that I called ahead of time as I detailed above. Within 24-hours, IHG's e-media team reached out to me to apologize, and let me know that the "local team" would be in touch with me within 48-hours. In that timeframe, I received a call from (I believe) the manager of the Miamisburg SS: he apologized, let me know that he reviewed the language on the website and agreed it was not reflective of their actual policy, and stated they were going to update it. He also refunded the $100 pet fee completely and gave me 5,000 IHG points...all without asking (he shared all of this with me in a voicemail). I wasn't expecting ANY of this, and as it was my very first stay at an IHG property, I have to say that it left a very positive impression. For that, I'll be happy to stay here again and pay the $100 for my floofs if I am passing through this area in the future.
- Pamela (10/5): Great stay - Clean, spacious and perfect for our trip.

- 822christas (6/5): Won’t go back to this IHG hotel - I heard and saw good things written about this hotel so we decided to stay here this year during our stay in Miamisburg.
Overall, the hotel looked clean (3/5) but they are behind in emptying trash to the pint that I saw a room bringing out their trash can out in the hall to be emptied.
The staff were friendly (3/5). They had to be reminded about my welcome amenity which they gave.
Breakfast was ok. Similar to Hampton inn or Holiday inns. The kitchen staff were hardworking and kept refilling food. (3/5).
In-room amenities (2/5) include popcorn, and tea. It is pricey for what you get from the hotel. You don’t get bottled water in the room. You have to use a pitcher and refill it in their kitchen. Or buy from their market. Thankfully Kroger is just a few steps away. For IHG leadership, free in-room
water should be standard for any hotel priced above $150/night.
Check-in experience and innovation- (1/5) again for IHG leadership, for this price point of a hotel
this hotel should be capable of digital check-in and should have a digital key.
Status recognition/usefulness (0/5). As a platinum elite, I was hoping for an upgrade but I was told it wasn’t available which was fine. However the room they placed as in was one of the worst locations where you can hear everyone outside the courtyard. There was no thought at all whasoever so I don’t think being a platinum elite has any value for IHG. A good lesson.
Will I stay here again if I had status in all the other hotels surrounding this hotel? No.
- Stephen (8/5): - Excellent neighborhood and very quiet.
- Derek (8/5): - Wonderful and very friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. The room had all the necessary amenities and a nice supply of items in the kitchen.
- David (6/5): A Little Peace and Quiet Needed - Guests above me was inclusive of small children. There was running, jumping, and yelling. Such is family life, but as I was traveling alone and needed rest, I requested a room change which I was initially denied because I was told my room could not be resold for the night. I was told a call would be made about the disturbances. If the call was made, there was no relief. After 6 hours I gave up and just left the hotel. I checked out and then I as offered another room. This was not a budget\economy room rate. For what I paid, it could equaled two rooms at another site. Families are families, so I don’t blame them, but Staybridge could have been accommodating to a single traveler needed some quiet and rest. IHG did give me some member points.
- Dennis (10/5): - Our stay was so very enjoyable. The room was perfect. Great small kitchenette. Had everything we needed. A full refrigerator with an icemaker and a dishwasher with dishwasher detergent. There was nothing that it lacked. The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Plenty of tables also. I cannot say enough good things.
- Randi (10/5): - Loved our 2 night stay there! Loved that they anticipated the number of kids staying in the area and made it where kids could only go to the pool with their adults. It kept the pool chaos down and was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was so friendly! I loved the outdoor sitting area and quietness of the entire hotel. Couldn’t even tell there were a lot of kids staying there. (We also had our two kids with us.) Our hotel room was very clean and I loved that it came stashed with dishes and cookware and a full size fridge. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
- Kelly (10/5): - We had no maid service all week, maybe that’s normal and not an issue as we are clean and we’re busy!
Very accepting of the dog!
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Erick (10/5): Exceptional -

- ILoveTexas (10/5): Hamvention Hotel - We came to Dayton for the annual amateur radio convention and stayed at the Staybridge Suites. It was a good choice! Beautiful, spacious room in a great area, with lots of restaurants, shops, and a Kroger within walking distance. The desk staff and the breakfast ladies were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Hamvention and we hope to stay there again next year.
- Colley (9/5): Superb -
- Curtis (2/5): - The staff we talked to was very nice but we had to wait in the lobby almost an hour after check in for our room to be ready.
Also we were woken up early in the morning due to what sounded like the person above us running around their room for two hours straight. Definitely won't be staying here again.
- Robert (10/5): - Good value
Clean nice
- Debra (8/5): Good Place to Stay. - This is a good place to stay when in Dayton. It is clean and quiet. It offers breakfast in the morning and a light dinner / snack with drinks in the evening.
- Kristi (10/5): Exceptional - It was the absolute cleanest hotel with the friendliest front desk crew! I tried to check in a little earlier and it wasn't quite ready ( which was no biggie) however, the older gentleman working the desk... forgot his name, jumped right into the interaction to see if he could make changes to quickly get us in. He did and was super quick and efficient doing so. We were here for my son's WGI World's Championship for band, and the location was only 5 minutes from where they were staying. There was so much to do and see in the area! We truly enjoyed the beautiful, quiet, hotel and the hospitality. The breakfast was delicious also. Thank you...We will definitely be back next year!
- Vincent (10/5): - Great Place ! Great breakfast!
- Laura (10/5): Super stay!! - Our stay was fabulous! We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it was perfect. Great size room for the price. It was very clean and comfortable. We even got locked out of our room and the sweet young woman working. The front desk was so understanding and helped us right away. Would definitely come back to stay here and recommend it to all my family and friends.

- jessica (10/5): - It was a great stay
- A (10/5): - Great hotel we would definitely stay here again
- Alan (10/5): My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. The other guests were noisy. - We loved the size of the room The pool was very cold
- Kalilimoku (9/5): Probably one of the best hotels I’ve been to in a while. Will definitely book with them again! - Very clean, esthetically pleasing & the room was in pristine condition! No ice machines. The freezer has an ice maker, but you have to turn it on & wait. Obviously it’s not a deal breaker, was just inconvenient at the time.
- Angela (4/5): Unfriendly Night Staff - This was the first time me and my family stayed at this hotel. We were in Dayton for a funeral it was a mess from the start unfortunately. When we first arrived the girl at the desk told us that we couldn't check in due to the type of card that we had on file and we would have to use another one. Well as we are at the bank placing money on our other card for them to charge our other card we find out that they had already taken the money out of the card that the lady at the desk claimed that we couldn't use so then we drove back to the hotel and deal with trying to check in for the second time. The lady was very friendly but it was a mess from the beginning. I'm not one to complain but I have to point this second thing out. Me and my husband ordered taco bell well we didn't want to wake the kids up because it was later in the evening so we decided to go downstairs and eat well the lady that was working night shift rudely came over to the table we were sitting down to eat at and says sorry but you cannot sit her I have to set up for breakfast. Mind you it was only 215 in the morning. I don't do well with rude people and I thought this was totally uncalled for. I was not happy with her rude tone of voice but I wish respectful and we walked back to our room. As we were laying down for bed we realize the room was extremely cold well we tried turning the heat up and it was not improving anything and honestly I didn't want to call the front desk asking for assistance as the lady working at that time was one I didn't think would do anything about it anyway due to her being rude towards as when we were trying to sit down and eat our food. This is really a shame this all happened because this place is a very nice hotel. I do hope if you stay here that your stay is better than ours
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tawanna (10/5): - Very clean and welcoming hotel. It is within walking distance of restaurant and a very short drive to shopping centers.
The hotel is very clean and the staff here are very nice!
- sarah (10/5): - Breakfast is great with a wide selection. Everything you need in the room. No ice machines though. Very comfy and clean in a great area. No issues. No smart TV but internet worked well for my devices.
- Rose (10/5): - The only dislike I had was that the pool needs a little love. We weren’t sure if it was missing pieces or dirty water
- Nate (10/5): - Place was great, welcoming & friendly staff! Very clean & pleasant.
- Craigg (9/5): Good place to stay - Nice rooms, good breakfast, convenient location. Especially like going to the Firebird Grill, which is a walkable distance. All good
- Gregory (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (6/5): Nice rooms but overpriced - Rooms and facitlites are nice, however it is quite overpriced. Breakfast is pretty average quality. Staff are friendly and helpful.
- Markay (10/5): - This hotel was exactly what we were looking for to have a Staycation for our daughters birthday. We had two of her friends join us for dinner and swimming so the kitchen in the room was so nice to have and the pool was perfect! The room was clean and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast bar was the best hotel breakfast bar I’ve encountered and the lobby was so cozy with a working fireplace. Overall it was a great experience, 5/5!
