Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location - short walk to Kyoto station, 2 large shopping malls and a laundrette just around the corner. Reasonable cooking facilities but not enough room for 2 people to pass in this galley (to reach the hand basin and shower). In reality that was not much of a problem. Good WiFi. We would certainly stay here again.
- Shun (6/5): A Japanese style apartment, close to Kyoto station - The unit is divided to 2 floors, not easy to go to bath room at night. The stairway is extremely steep. Everything is small but enough for three of us to use.
A small kitchen, too bad, there is no cooking oil, salt to use. Entire stay we did not cook only boiled a pot of hot water.
- Joseph (8/5): Centrally located traditional Japanese lodging - The house was in a quiet neighborhood even though it was in the center of the city's main transportation hub. We were only a few blocks from the train station and a major bus terminus. The house was traditional Japanese style, with futons and thick duvets. The kitchen was a bit cramped but well-equipped. The bathtub was nice and deep, and we could control the temperature of the water--perfect for a good long soak. The bedroom was huge, on the second floor, reached by narrow, steep steps.
- WaiHong (10/5): Family Holiday - Great stay at Kyo Oyado Anzu. It's a ryokan style house. Very comfortable and relaxing for family's holiday trip. It's near to Kyoto Station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great house for a family with kids - The house was great for a family of four especially we have two infants. They allowed us to use an extra futon for the twins and the futons seemed new and very comfortable. The house was smaller but I guess it's a decent size for a house near Kyoto Station. Also, it was a Machiya stay but newly renovated which was a great experience for my Canadian husband. We only stayed here for a night but I wished I knew this place before so that we could have stayed longer here when we went sightseeing in Kyoto a few weeks ago.
