- Clement (10/5): - Stayed for 3 nights and would stay there again. The Staff were friendly and attentive to my needs. Check-in was quick and efficient. Good variety of food at the Breakfast buffet. Quality and quantity of food was very high. Room was spacious and very clean. Location is convenient on the river front with a short walk to major attractions (Hermitage Museum, St Isaacs Cathederal).

- Verified traveler (10/5): Чудесный отель в самом центре города - Отель Бридж выбрали во многом из-за местоположения: прямо на адмиралтейской набережной, с одной стороны Исакий, с другой - дворцовая площадь, Александровский сад вообще стал местом нашего постоянного прибывания) Настораживало только то, что номер эконом класса находится в соседнем здании, однако, когда мы приехали заселяться, нам сказали, что в качестве бонуса нам поменяли номер на стандартный, а он находится в основном корпусе. Вообщем, несказанно повезло. Персонал очень вежливый и дружелюбный, если у вас есть вопросы, всегда можно обратиться к сотруднику и узнать всю необходимую информацию. Вообщем, рекомендую 👍

В отношении расположения отель удовлетворил все ожидания. А бонусом стало срвременное оформление, чистота, тишина и комфорт. Всем советую!!!

- Paul (8/5): Location is Everything - The Bridge Hotel's primary asset is its location. It's about a 5 minute walk to Hermitage / start of Nevsky Prospekt, 2 minutes to the Bronze Horseman, 3 minutes to St. Isaac, and 15 minutes to Peter and Paul Fortress. If you have a vehicle expect times for those places to be in the seconds (which makes using a vehicle impractical unless mobility is impaired). St. Petersburg is such a beauty to walk through anyway. Rooms are not very big but okay, clean, and serve the general purpose of having a nice place to sleep in. Do note that we were there in winter, so I'm not sure how noisy the place can be during peak season. Breakfast could have more variety. Had 5 breakfasts and a total of 4 items changed I think. This is not to say I didn't like breakfast- I loved the items that were served but, as with many things in life, repetition makes the great look normal. If given the chance to return to SPB I would definitely not mind staying here again, though I wouldn't completely shun the thought of checking other similarly situated places.

Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr klein, man muss mit Wartezeit rechnen. Das selbe gilt für die Kaffeemaschine. Das Essen ist für russische Verhältnisse in Ordnung, es ist kein europäisches Frühstück.

Visitors should note there is no elevator, though there are only two floors. No lobby bar or breakfast room to speak of, but free room service for breakfast was a nice compensation. Taxi service was fast, friendly and cheap.

Vastaanotosta saimme vinkkejä hyvistä ruokapaikoista lähistöllä. Huoneemme oli eri rappukäytävässä kuin hotellin vastaanotto, mutta kulkukorteilla liikuimme hotellin tiloissa näppärästi.

- Luca (8/5): Hotel centralissimo - Ho soggiornato per 4 notti al The Bridge e posso affermare che si tratta di un buon hotel. Il suo punto forte è senza dubbio la posizione, a due passi dall'Ermitage e dalla Neva. Bella anche la camera dotata di tutto il necessario. Da migliorare la colazione, poco varia, e il servizio in reception (alle 7 30 del mattino non era presente nessuno per il check-out, abbiamo dovuto mandare l'addetto al bar a svegliare la ragazza che stava dormendo in camera). Ascensore non presente.

The room itself was very nice with many amenities preppared. It was very convenient for sightseing and shopping. The hotel was located within 5-minute walk from the Ermitage Musium.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel and spacey - The hotel is nice and quiet. The room does not have good writing facilities. Also the room was across a courtyard and it was difficult to get the case in and out. The staff were excellent and the breakfast amazing.

MEN, tror de hade köpt in sig i lägenhetslängan dörr i dörr med hotellet.. vi blev hänvisade till rummet via en bakgård (med kommentaren "don't be afraid..") och sen in i en trappuppgång som både såg bedrövlig ut och luktade bedrövligt.. Kan tänka mig att vistelsen blir bättre om man hamnar i huvudbyggnaden!

- Joseph (4/5): A tale of two very different hotels in one... - This will be a very mixed review of the hotel. Read it all to understand. We visited St. Petersburg during the World Cup in July of 2018. The staff of the hotel were all great. Helpful. Gracious. And all spoke English well enough to answer all of our questions and assist our travels. The location is ok (very near to the Hermitage and Neva river), but a 25 minutes walk to the nearest Metro stop and most other amenities. The Lobby and rooms are all very modern and crisp looking, as shown on the website images. HOWEVER, what they fail to show you on the website or tell you, is that only half of the hotel is actually connected to the lobby. To get to the OTHER half of the rooms, you have to go outside, down a rusting, dangerous stairway, across a poorly lit, outdoor courtyard filled with broken down cars and people not associated with the hotel (this courtyard is not secure and open to the public, so anyone can just hang out here). While the rooms themselves may be similar, getting to the is NOT. Also, after getting across this nefarious courtyard, you have to go into another building that is shared between hotel guests, hostel guests, and apartment residents, so there really is very little security in this building and all sorts of people are walking through a shared stairwell leading to the rooms. Very UNSAFE! Also, this shared stairwell is constantly damp, unfinished, and smells of raw sewage ( This is NOT an exaggeration!). See photos of this area.

- Chris (4/5): Too pricey despite good location - back alley entrance with single door up the stairs into extremely small lobby (if you can call it a lobby!) was extremely shocked that we paid US$300 for such unimpressive hotel esp since it was along the embankment next to Hermitage. No lift -so luggage had to be carried up and down by bell boy. Receptionist (only one guy at reception) was very rude when we checked in at 7.30am on Jun 16 & when I asked him whether the rooms are facing the river, he said yes - however, only 1 out of 3 of our rooms was facing the river...thought all were facing the river given his answer in the affirmative.. rest of receptionists who came on duty after that were much more professional.

Hotelli kaikin puolin siisti. Aamupala nyt ei ollut aivan loistava, mutta kyllä sillä toimeen tulee. Lämpimät ruuat eivät olleet lämpiä, vaan haaleita. Huoneet huono puoli oli, että suihkuvesi ei painunut viemäriin ihan niin kuin kuuluisi. Respassa pärjäsi englannilla.

- Tetyana (10/5): - The hotel is nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The necessity of crossing the yard from one building to another was a bit uncomfortable, especially if you have suitcases and the stairs are covered with ice. The service at breakfast and breakfast itself could be better.
- ALENA (10/5): Отличный вариант в историческом центре - Отличный отель рядом со всеми памятниками и Невой, вокруг много ресторанов, легко добираться до всех нужных мест, при этом достаточно тихо. Хороший завтрак, нормальный просторный номер. И отличная цена за сочетание всех этих факторов.
- Klaasje (8/5): Fijn hotel op top locatie - The Bridge ligt super dicht bij Hermitage en andere bezienswaardigheden. Prima standaard kamer met fijne badkamer. Helaas zonder bad waar we wel om hadden gevraagd. Lieve meisjes achter balie. Alleen geen goed ontbijt. Droog brood, koude pannekoeken en werd niet op tijd bijgevuld. Geen vriendelijke bediening en harde muziek op tv met muziekclips.
- Maeva (8/5): Good hotel with great location - Staff is very friendly and helpful- the hotel is good but try to avoid rooms 112 to 116 which are situated in the backyard so you have to go through a dodgy corridor and meet with the locals who leave in the building next door. Breakfast is OK ish - the Russian pastries and dishes are good but the rest is very average, out of 4 days we only had orange or apple juice twice. However the location is great, very close to St Issac's Cathedral and the Hermitage. You can reach all landmarks walking from the hotel.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect location - Chose the hotel for its location and it was perfect just a few steps away from Palace Square. Easy to find. Receptionist very helpful and charming. Room was good and bathroom facilities spotlessly clean. My only grumble was that we were on the ground floor and we could not open the windows so the room became stuffy overnight. Meals were taken in the bar next door. Food was very good. Service, well let's put it this way the waiters were more interested in their phones or watching the films projected on to a big screen at one end of the bar rather than paying attention to their customers! I intend to return to St Petersburg and will book this hotel again.

- Tanya (2/5): We have to take a garbage bag out by the hotel pol - No reception on the duties, just from 7-5. No cleaning, we have to take a garbage out themselve. We have to leave after 2 night, lucky to find another hotel Scandinavian marina, a few blocks down. Maybe for a big family and to save money, because it has a kitchen will be ok
- Michael (8/5): Location Great. But outside looks scarey. Safe - The hotel is located on a rather deserted side street off the Embankment. There is an unsavory youth hostel right next door. However once inside the building, The Bridge is fully remodeled and spotless. The exterior is rather uninviting in a historical building that is at least 150 years old. The proximity at only 3 blocks from the Hermitage/Winter Palace cannot be beat. Only one restaurant within a 2 block walk
- Michael (6/5): Good location. Side street entrance sketchy - Great location three blocks from the Hermitage. No restaurants within five blocks. Do not book an economy room as this wing is detached from the main building and requires walking through a dark courtyard.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location - The hotel was much nicer than I expected. The staff were friendly, the room was large and comfortable with a big bathroom, walk-in shower (which was powerful), etc. The location was excellent, about 20-25 min. walk from most major attractions (less for some as the Hermitage is about 5 min. walk away) and about 10 min. walk to the metro. The breakfast was not wonderful but it was adequate and filling.

- Tony (4/5): Great Hotel with an apalling restaraunt. - This hotel is in a great location very near the Hermitage and the hotel itself very comfortable with friendly staff who all speak English. But and it is big but the restaurant attached to the hotel is truly appalling. You have to leave the hotel and walk down the road, fortunately for us it was not raining or that cold, as the restaurant is at the end of the block. The service is dreadful, for example one of the staples at breakfast is orange juice. You can buy it at the bar in the evening, but they say it is not available for breakfast. We did try and eat in the evening, but everything seems to be cooked from frozen. As an example I ordered a pizza, a simple request. One and half hours later my wife had finished her main course, that had come after about an hour, I asked where was my pizza - even then they said it would be 15 minutes as they were very busy. There were about 10 people in the restaurant at the time including us. We gave up at that point and left. Over breakfast one morning our table had a number on one inch long creatures crawling all over it, they were just brushed off by the waiter. To sum up, the restaurant has bad service, very average food, very little choice, no orange juice at breakfast, but on the plus side they do serve the best pancakes in the area. It is such a shame that what could be a great hotel is ruined by the restaurant.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Choice in St Petersburg - The location was excellent - around 5 minutes walk to the main tourist attractions (Hermitage Museum, Palace Square, Admiralteyskaya train station). The front desk assisted us with our tour guide that did not turn up at the correct time and saved us a lot of stress. The breakfast variety was great. Room was quiet and comfortable. The only problem was that the front door of the hotel is not very obvious, so the taxi driver had some problems finding it the first time.

- Verified traveler (8/5): DO NOT GO THERE UNTIL THEY SOLVED THE TAXI DEAL - Big problem with the taxi: the hotel has a deal and call only one company, sometimes they come, sometimes not, the car are in bad conditions and they charge 2 to 3 times the price of the other taxi companies !!!!! Plus it takes them 15 minutes to come while the hotel is located in the center !!!! We arrrived late at appointments, and it takes less to walk to the center than wait VERY NEGATIVE POINT FOR SUCH A GOOD HOTEL

- Paul (10/5): Fantastic - North facing view of the Neva River. Nothing bad to say. Staff was helpful beyond reproach. Rooms were newly renovated, clean, comfortable. A pure joy and a room with a view! Windows kept out heavy street noise unless you are extremely sensitive....I like to hear that something is going on around me. Served us well...no pushy staff...breakfast puts American Continental breakfasts to shame.

Rooms are newly renovated and great. The economy rooms are located in a separate building across the courtyard but still new. Breakfast buffet is very nice with great food.

It is very close to the Hermitage, where we spent 2 full days. The city is perfect for walking, and we felt safe everywhere we went. All together, we spent 6 full days in St. Petersburg.
- Flavia (10/5): Celebrating our anniversary in Russia - My husband and I decided to visit Russia to celebrate our anniversary. The Bridge Hotel seemed like a good choice, but there were no reviews. We took a chance and were really happy with what we found. The hotel is new. It uses an older/historical building that was totally renovated and its location is excellent. PROS: Location, cleanliness, great service, comfortable rooms, recently renovated, so everything is new. CONS: Entrance is a little tricky to find. There is no elevator. (They will help you with your luggage)
- frequent travel (8/5): Excellent location - Very centrally located, quiet, friendly staff, okay breakfast (for less than 4 stars). Only drawback is that all single rooms seem to be slightly on the small side, with quite a narrow single bed. Rooms facing the front might be somewhat noisy (major boulevard), but rooms to the sides and back experience no traffic noise.
- Emma (8/5): - The hotel was great. Everything is brand new and the staff are very helpful. Large room, comfortable bed and location is very central. It is walking distance from the main tourist sights. Banging doors were a bit of a problem and there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room but otherwise a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

- Deri (10/5): Outstanding location on the banks of the Neva. - Rather difficult to locate - I recommend a quick use of Google street view if you are not arriving by taxi. Having found the inconspicuous door (past midnight and needing use of intercom for access), however, a warm welcome awaited. The breakfasts in the Bridge Bar were adequate and welcoming. A good intro to Russian life or at least, its City life). (We also enjoyed a blues evening there and found the menu very good.) We are older travellers, but found the stay excellent value for money. Basic comfort, rather than lavish luxury. But this is what we paid for and expected. Location was perfect for me (central to Russian Academy of Sciences and a conference location in the Telecommunications Museum), but also within a couple of hundred meters of the Winter Palace (Hermitage). (Its within the Admiralty complex.)
