Scott (8/5): Nice place after fishing. - Older place. There is a go kart track next to the hotel. Wasn't operating when we were there. They have old school keys for the room. They have a common patio area outside. We just needed a place to crash after fishing and this fit the bill. They did have a couple of chocolates on the bed.

Jenny (5/5): Good location, pretty dated. - This was a last minute booking, so we were just happy to find something. The woman running the front desk was very kind. The little bungalow was small and sweet. It certainly had the amenities we needed for a quick stay. The room was very tiny, the pictures were clearly well done. The room was for all four of us, with a futon. The futon did not have any sheets, just an old brown blanket and one pillow. The silverware drawer had one fork. We, unfortunately, had some noisy neighbors and the walls were pretty thin. It just felt old and not so taken care of.

ELLA (2/5): Very outdated - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable Extremely out dated, room smelled musty. Office area very small and with holes in the ceiling.. Towels were not in my room but when I let staff know they brought some immediately. No ice available.
Donna (10/5): Nice place - Small but nice room. Bed was comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful. Only negative was there is no central a/c. Room was very warm and stuffy throughout our stay. They did offer a fan for the room. Overall, we would stay here again.
Rob (4/5): - Location was good. Go-carts were a tiny track but a lot of fun. The room was dirty. The barn style bathroom door did not fit right and was not installed level so we had to rig it to stay closed. The manager was nice and so was the go-cart manager.

Kristin (8/5): - Our stay at Breakers Boutique went very well. Only thing I didn't like about the room itself is the barn style door that wouldn't stay closed properly so we had to prop a towel outside of it to keep it from rolling backwards. The shower is fantastic, great water pressure & has a shampoo, conditioner & body wash dispenser. There is no ice machine on site so be prepared to buy ice at the grocery it's liquor store as needed. Hotel staff was friendly & accommodating with any issues we had. When we asked for extra towels they were provided without issue. Room did not have AC but did have a box fan which helped with ventilation, & it wasn't warm enough to need an AC anyways. Overall we had a great stay. Close to the waterfront as well as the grocery store & dollar general. The go karts were a lot of fun as well & hotel guests get a discount on rides.

The room was FILTHY even with housekeeping just having left we had her come back and it was still disgusting. We absolutely will not be staying here again. I also received no call back to discuss as staff were unavailable to speak about our concerns.

Shannon (1/5): Bad - The office doesn't open until 4 pm. So you can't talk to anyone, ask any questions, or possibly check-in early. The Go-Karts were not even open, and it's June! That's the only reason to stay there! Plus, the bathroom had a barn style door, so don't expect privacy. Also, it was so unbelievably small, your knees hit the wall in front of you when sitting on the toilet. I wish I could say something positive about the motel, (not hotel) but I can't.

Crystal (8/5): Comfort away from home! - Good location, bed was super comfy and having a firm and soft pillow option was so wonderful!! Really appreciate a good nights sleep after a long day. Parking with a large pickup truck was a bit tight. The shower head being so tall and unable to move it for a short person was a bit difficult to rinse off my lower half I had to use a cup since the water wouldn’t hit anywhere besides the top of my head.

Shawndelle (3/5): Not worth what it cost - The beds were pretty comfy, the complimentary baskets were cute and nice. The staff was really nice and helpdul with places to eat in the area. The toilet didn't work correctly the entire time, it wouldn't flush on many occasion and constantly had that sound of running water. When we were using three jacuzzi it filled the top of the water with a layer of skin like it hasn't been cleaned properly. When we tried taking to the staff about it, no one was ever in the office. It was a decent place to stay but not what I had expected for much it cost. There's no breakfast, snacks or anemities.
Breanna (10/5): - My boyfriend and I stayed in the jacuzzi suite. The room was spotless, well kept, the bed was comfy. The jacuzzi tub was the perfect size and the fireplace made things extra cozy. The bottle of sparkling cider and bar of chocolate was a pleasant surprise. :) we've decided that we're going to do this more often!!

Leslie (6/5): Not very nice - Check in was posted for 4.00pm strictly, but no one was there. I phoned and the answer was, "On my way." Dropped off by car at 4.10, the clerk did not make eye contact, greet or acknowledge me in any way, just unlocked and entered. Her first words were to complain about how slow her computer was. The go-kart track was immediately outside my room's window. In season, I imagine that's a nightmare of noise and smell, but it was quiet this off-season weekend. Bed was comfy, everything in the kitchenette worked. Extra bed was a futon. Thin walls: I could hear my neighbors conversation and tv clearly. Bathroom pocket door was fully inside the wall and I couldn't pull it out, so the door stayed open all weekend (pic). Shower sill needs cleaning, repair and repaint (pic). Some kind of waste - sawdust, or insect debris - dropped onto the shower floor from behind a loose molding (pic). I have no idea why this place is called a boutique, it's just an average, worn down, under maintained beach motel. Definitely not worth the price.

jptravels011 (2/5): Active water leak caused the ceiling to fall in, multiple damages and hazards during stay management MIA - Absolutely terrible property; I can honestly say it’s one of the 2 or 3 worst hotel/motel stays I’ve ever had. The suite we stayed in was literally falling apart. Damaged blinds, broken heat, damage all over. And to top it off the ceiling caved in from a water leak, exposing dangerous non-code complaint wiring. Owners refused to provide any refund to accommodation. Avoid at all costs.

Verified traveler (4/5): Really marginal in the off season. - Office is only open from 4 to 9 pm as per a sign on the door. I was not given the wifi password at check in and was not able to get it until the next evening. I had a burned out light in the bathroom and ended up pushing a note under the office door about that and the password. When I returned that evening there was a light bulb and a card with the password hanging on my door. I HAD TO STAND ON A CHAIR AND CHANGE THE BULB MYSELF. The carpet had footprints that looked like they had been caused by walking in bleach in the bathroom then across the rug. Be careful of the coffee pot. I does not have a timer shutoff. I made coffee in the morning then left. When I came back in the evening it was still on. Fortunately I left enough coffee that it had not boiled dry and started a fire.
Michael (6/5): A Place to sleep - Good for a one night stay after a 100 mile bike ride. Room decor was as pictured (look better in picture than in person). Our floor had some dips in and bed creaked. The blinds when pulled them down for the night a couples of canes were broken. Area was quiet. No Go Karts running nor did we hear any street traffic. The chairs in the room need a good cleaning or reupholstering.
Verified traveler (6/5): - Shower was very small and water was hitting the wall so you could not get wet. Needs a pull down wand. Blinds need to be replaced and chairs should have been replaced 15 years ago. Can not attach pictures, please go try to take a shower. Bed and bedding was good.

Philip (8/5): We'll be back next year. - The location works for our purpose. Ben was absolutely amazing when it came to taking care of us. Thank you so much Ben. Go karts are the bomb. The unit wasn't totally cleaned. There was food particles around the sink, toaster, kitchen. Also.....in unit 101 there is a wood valance above the bed, right at the headboard area. I hit my head twice before I slept with my head at the other end where your pillows fall off the bed. please fix that.
Bonne (6/5): - This property has lots of potential but I think that they are short handed because both the bathroom and the upstairs deck were both dirty. The manager was doing his best but I think that there was just too much for him to do. I hope they get there act together because it’s a cute motel.

BOB (4/5): Not coming back - Could you at least have spent a couple bucks to replace burned out light bulbs in the bathroom? Perhaps that's why the bathroom door won't stay closed; it's really dark in there. Also, why so many ashtrays in a non-smoking facility? The place is cheezy: everywhere you look there are electrical and structural "fixes" that look shabby and somewhat dangerous. One bright side: the gal at the front counter check in, was very nice and doing all she could to help us.
Lynyrd (1/5): I went elsewhere - Assured 2pm check in .. upon arrival no manager or front desk after about an hour a very RUDE clerk arrived . Told me I couldnt check in and that if i didnt like that ...i could stay elsewhere.. which I did znd asked for a refund in which she told me i had to deal with booking .com ..this lady and establishment needs a lesson in manners and customer service not a very well managed place after all
Starnes (4/5): Disappointing - I liked how close it was to the beach. The room was dirty. Shower was gross and disgusting. We even went as far as wearing our slides in it. The room was over all not clean and not updated and very uncomfortable.

The room had plenty of room, appeared clean, and was quiet. I felt safe. I would definitely come here again; kinda wish I didn't have to leave now.
