The breakfast selection was very limited and considering the price we paid, the services were not justified. The pillows were uncomfortable. There were no power outlets near the bed or desk for a laptop, which was quite inconvenient.

- tan (3/5): “Good location, but not worth the price” - The location is good and convenient, especially for visiting the surrounding area. The mountain setting is nice. The hotel was understaffed, and service was very limited throughout the stay. Breakfast options were very basic and insufficient, especially for a multi-night stay. Overall, the experience did not match the price paid and was not good value for money.

- Alan (9/5): Treat yourself to a picturesque village in Switzerland - Location overlooking picturesque Filisur and proximity to Landwasser Viaduct. (Note ask staff best way to it. Do not follow Google maps on highway.) This was an impressive historical structure, Clean room, with comfortable bed and includes bath in bathroom. Stayed cool after heat of day. Quality restaurant for evening meals and very diverse and enjoyable breakfast. Walking distance from station complemented by local bus service. Friendly staff with a sense of humour. Nothing, would have liked to stay longer. Was good to stay in relatively small village compared to the hustle and bustle in larger centres.

- Sarah (3/5): Poor value for money & poor service - Comfortable beds, lovely location We arrived via the Glacier Express at about 5pm & the hotel looked closed as it was unlit. We let ourselves in through the open door & found our way down to reception but there was nobody there. We then found an envelope with our names with a room key & had to find our way to our room in the dark. Appreciating that there might have been a good reason for the hosts to be away, we would have at least expected a phone call or email explaining the arrangements. It was extremely unwelcoming and we didn't enjoy our stay The room was basic, the bathroom door wouldn't close & the shower leaked water all over the floor. The balcony floor was dirty & the paint on the railings faded & flaking. The doors needed painting & the internal decor was of a very low standard. One of the reasons we booked was that the hotel apparently offered a jacuzzi but there was nobody there to switch it on. There was also a sign saying it cost 12 chf per person! The following morning we eventually found our way to the breakfast room & there was very little choice. We decided on cereals but there was only enough for a small portion each. In all we felt it was terrible value for money, poor service and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is a little far from the train station but the staff kindly drove us there on departure.

The heater could be a bit lower, it was suuper hot during the night and there was no switch to control it. We came late March and the neighbourhood was super quiet, no other restaurants. If you prefer to save up is better to bring food. The coop market is just below, you can also stock up there.

I love the bed and the bedding. Both were very comfortable. And the view outside our patio is so pretty. We saw stars and the moon at night right from our patio. The hot water from the shower is very comfy. Overall, we love our stay!

The rooms are adequately sized with the whole "chalet vibe" and a view of the snow covered mountains through the balcony (don't forget to ask for the mountain facing rooms) ! More than enough storage space and decently done bathrooms. The hosts are very pleasant and happy to share local tips. My only gripe is that the breakfast could be better value (but I still suggest to take it, since there aren't really any other options around)

But I still enjoyed my stay because the place is cozy and near from my target to visit which is the landwasser viaduct. The girl from the reception even thought me how to go there efficiently. 🙂

A great breakfast ensured a start with a bang in the morning, we all really liked it The restaurant attached was overexpensive, low quality and with poor service (friendly but extra slow). As there are few options in Filisur itself this may become a problem, though more possibilities are available in Bergun.

- Filipp (2/5): It was incredibly bad. For the money paid, the quality was ridiculous, and I don't know how this hot - Things I want to mention: 1. The hose and shower head are leaking heavily, making it impossible to use the shower normally. 2. There are exposed wires in the wire of the lamp near the bed; it is dangerous to use it - there is a risk of getting an electric shock. 3. There are holes in the curtains in the room. 4. The room is very dirty - it seems that cleaning was not carried out. Example: spider web is everywhere in the room. 5. Horrible old smell from bath towels. They are either very old, or they are washed with the cheapest washing powder and not allowed to dry completely. 6. The pillow on the bed is very thin - as if it was not there at all. After one night of sleeping on such a pillow, my neck hurts greatly.

- Tabikaeru (9/5): Very nice place in a secluded village - Since Filisur is actually covered by Davos ski pass (i.e. free rides to Filisur if you're wearing equipment for mountain skiing), it is possible to stay here and save couple dozen of Euro, but with some caveats. The hotel is very close to the station, but it's a hike up to the station, about 10 minutes, which is absolutely not possible with Ski Boots on (doable with snowboarding ones). The village is very pretty and very quiet. Although first train to Davos departs at 8-04 and the last train comes at about 20-00, so no night life if you decide to use this place as your base for skiing, unless you have a car. But it's only 25 minutes to Davos Platz from here! The Rinnerhorn is even closer if you're a fan of that area and it's torturous T-Bar ski lifts (hint: it does worth it ;) ). The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room had a door to the adjacent room inside, bolted shut, but soundproofing with the neighbors was non-existing. We cou;d hear each other very clearly The village itself is quiet, but the room was not as a result ;( Reception is actually downstairs, when you enter the hotel you're greeted with the dark room which looks like it's a reception but it isn't. Just a nitpick though. No skirooms, the hotel is not positioning itself as "for skiers", which is a missed opportunity. The staff was chill about taking your snowboard into your room though.

Very thoughtful. Breakfast was lovely, homemade Zopf and smoked salmon surprised us. The room is clean and spacious with tv,radio with alarm and table with chair. Bathroom is big enough with a bathtub ,toiletries and hairdryer. They have elevator if you have big luggages to carry. Near the train station but a steep climb up if you have big luggages you better walk to the next bus station and take the bus to the train station. They have grocery store just right at the entrance to the hotel. Nothing

- Jocelyne (10/5): I wish I had stayed longer to explore Filisur. - My partner and I arrived at the hotel almost around midnight (we called the hotel to let them know our arrival time beforehand) and the staff was awake waiting for us. Check in and check out was quick, the staff was friendly, the location of the place was super pretty, our room was small, but cozy room with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. There is nothing to dislike about this property.
