- Lai (8/5): Comfortable stay with good amenities, though access and maintenance could be improved. - Breakfast was enjoyable, with a wide selection including scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bread, bagels, bananas, tangerines, and loaves, along with two waffle makers. The location was conveniently close to where we needed to go. Overall, it was quiet. The room also featured a small kitchenette area, which was helpful for preparing food. Getting to the lodge wasn’t very convenient, as it’s located on one side of the highway—if you’re coming from the opposite direction, you have to drive around to access it. It would also be an improvement if the kitchenette included a sink, rather than having to use the bathroom sink for washing. Additionally, about half of the equipment in the gym was not working, and overall maintenance could be improved.

However, we were tired so my husband enjoyed a soak in the longest tub he’s ever used. He said that was better than a hot tub. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. We enjoyed the use of a luggage dolly. The lobby fireplace wax real. It uses real wood. The breakfast included would meet most people’s needs for the standard American diet. It’s not a healthy breakfast. It wax well laid out and clean. The staff were great. Always wanting to ensure your stay was pleasant. I would not be able to afford this hotel during peak season.

The signs on each level for the vending and ice machines must be removed seeing that there is only one in the gym. Was not impressed with the breakfast at all. The juice was watery with no taste. The juice glasses are too small for the smallest amount selection on the juice machine. The ham was bland and tasteless. The waffle station (location) was only spotted once we already dished up the other items.

They want to stay each time we pass through. Perhaps put your waffle machine where other food is so it's not missed. If we hadn't gone to the back area we never would have seen it.

The only thing was that it closed at 9:00 in the morning. Not quite long enough maybe 10 am but not 9 am. Loved that there was a pool. Great location. The restaurants near by were a bonus. Microwave oven not working correctly and neither was the clock radio. Pillows were to thick. Would have been nice to have a couple thick and a couple flatter ones for people with neck problems.

The staff were very friendly. Our room wasn’t cleaned when we asked for it to be done, which was maybe understandable given the time of year. But we were here for a family emergency over Christmas and coming back to a clean room would have been so nice.

Unfortunately, I forgot my swimsuit, so I couldn’t enjoy the swimming pool. It was a bit disappointing that there was no underground parking.

- James (8/5): Overall, a good stay. - Breakfast was very good. The chef and wait staff were friendly and helpful and appreciated our comments about the good quality of the food. I was also impressed with the gluten free sausages which were very tasty. Good location just a little tricky accessing from the north. When the staff clean the room, they should also clean the floor and replace the coffee pods and dirty cups.
