Sandamb (6/5): Ok, but not great. - The rooms were big, bed was ok, there was working air conditioning. The decor was weird and was a little off-putting. I shared an apartment with my friends and the room I got had a kitchen in it - sort of a studio bedroom. The host also kept insisting on getting his payment even though we had booked through booking.com and when he called we were having dinner at the Galle Literary Festival - it was annoying to have to worry about that and this was not the best way to treat guests. Decor. Bathroom. Ideally would have liked not to have the kitchen in my bedroom. The behaviour of the host about the payments. If he wanted a cash payment in advance he should have said so at the time he handed over the keys instead of trying to ruin our dinner when we were clearly not in a position to pay him. Doesn't understand customer service or satisfaction.

Sharon (9/5): Peaceful, calm and restful place to stay. - A whole self contained unit with an outside area by the river. Peaceful and very quiet. It is more suited to long term lets as there were no basics provided like tea and coffee. You needed a Tuk Tuk, taxi or Uber to get anywhere of interest.

eigil (10/5): Very good place to stay - So nice stay. Everybody has to try to eat dinner there. The shef was excellent and the manager was so gentle. He played nice music for us every night and we where the only guests. We had dinner there all three nights!!!!!

Verified traveler (4/5): Leben wie die Einheimischen. - Wenn man westlichen Standart erwartet ist man in der Vila Harbour leider Falsch. Wobei man erwarten kann, das hygienische Standards eingehalten werden. Musste selbst die Toilette reinigend, da stark verunreinigt mit Urin. Auf dem Boden lag Kot, vermutlich von Mäusen und völlig inakzeptabel war das Auftreten von Kakalaken.
