- Jared (1/5): Terrible - I didn’t Like anything ! Manager/front desk guy had an attitude. The price was beyond expensive for the shitty room that I was in. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned.. the toilet looked dirty. The room smelled. The carpet looked like it was never cleaned or vacuumed. Not much cleanliness. I got an attitude from the manager for asking for more towels. This by far is the worst hotel I’ve been to and I would NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone. Should’ve paid 100 bucks for my stay that’s all it was worth!

- Tanya (3/5): one night was enough - It's a peaceful and quiet location and in a very secluded spot. I stayed here once before and was pleased by the clean rooms. But this time I was disappointed. When I pulled my blanket down there was hair on the pillowcase. And my sheets and blanket were so worn, and thread bare there were rips in them. I was ok without dated but it was shabby and that was depressing.
- Peter (4/5): - Nothing special about this place. For seasoned cheap motelers only. Basic cleanliness, AC was very good. WiFi was sketchy. It's at the dead end of a street with businesses. In the middle of the night, there were no outside lights and the parking lot was completely dark.

- Ashley (1/5): Worst stay of my life. - I liked nothing. It was horrible. The bed was disgusting, the toilet was leaking, the shower sucked. Luckily there were two beds so I was able to choose the slightly less disgusting one to sleep in. And luckily I had my own blanket from home so I didn’t have to sleep on their disgusting sheets. I didn’t like the disgusting filthy beds. I didn’t like the leaky toilet. I definitely didn’t like the rude guy at check-in who told my boyfriend “no” when he asked to check in. I didn’t like how the place was in the middle of no where and looked like the beginning to a horror movie.

- Barry (10/5): - The Allenwood is tucked away in a seemingly rural area, even though there are nearby freeways. It is well managed and close to shopping such as the amazing Wegman's store. We chose it because it's a 15-min drive to Macungie Park, the site of the dog show we were going to attend (but the motel doesn't accept dogs). The couple who run the place were very helpful in getting us what we needed and we'd definitely stay there again.

Blinds were never cleaned as it looked like 20 years of cigarette smoke residue dripping and running down them. The blankets were stained all over. The furniture was stained and disgusting. - Wendy (4/5): - We needed a smoking room since we are vapers and it's too cold to run outside to vape, they are few and far between. The room was dirty, dingy, stains on the carpet, the blinds were streaked with dirt and smoke and were sticky. Cigarette burns in the bed linens, the deadbolt wouldn't lock, the toilet over flowed and it was just plain nasty. If we had more money, we wouldn't have stayed and went somewhere else. It's apparent the place is old and the owners are just taking in the money until it falls apart.
- David (4/5): - The person who checked us in was nice. My wife left her purse outside and he made sure he got it to us right away when he saw it. However, the room was outdated and very dirty. It’s the most outdated and dirty room we’ve ever stayed in. The vertical blinds on the front window were filthy and a couple were broken, sacrificing some privacy. Thank God it was just one night.

I was then told that there would be a $20 per hour early check in fee, making the fee $150 to check in two hours before 3 PM when the rate reflected is $68, definitely not worth the price nor the headache; for such a poorly ran establishment.

There was someone’s clothes in a bag tucked in between the bed and the night stand just disgusting…Then I woke up with welts, not sure what was in this particular room to cause that, just felt like I was getting bit but didn’t see anything, only found a stink bug but I captured him and left him in a soda bottle.

I complained to the manager and he gave me another room. The bed sheets in the second room were clean and unstained. Their was mold in the bathrooms in both rooms. The manager was rude to me when I complained. He said I came in later than was aloud (1 AM). I do not recall seeing any restrictions on the website when I booked the room. It was just an excuse. The motel should buy new sheets, Even the sheets in the second room were threadbare. I don't mind staying in an old motel, but there is no reason to have old, stained sheets.

U don’t get extra towels or sheets. There’s no astray in a smoking room. I had to sleep with chairs behind the door. Felt so unsafe. Never ever again. Stay far away from this place.
- Theodore (2/5): Worst hotel I've seen in 50 years. - Don't ever stay there exclamation? Filthy! Pubic hair in the sink. No telephone. No alarm clock. No radio. Grossly dirty and stained carpet and chairs. No electric outlet at the desk or table. One half roll of single ply toilet paper. Blinds wooden clothes and people could see in. No safety chain on the door. Not well lit. No sense of safety or security. I couldn't get the hot water to work in the shower. No drain plug in the shower. The bathroom door was grossly dirty grimy and greasy. Clearly it did not been cleaned in months!

- Carl (4/5): - Needing to cut costs on my trip. I chose this hotel. The propery is okd and run down. There was a large roach in the bathtub and the room wreaked of smoke. This was a mistake.
- Edwin (2/5): - The minute we walked in the room we had to walk out and go to a store and buy air fresheners. The towels was so old that when you take a shower it was so hard to dry yourself. Didn’t get a good nights sleep due to the fact that they have no curtains on the windows plus the door lock was barely working had to put a chair inside the room to block entrance door. For the price that I paid for the stay it was not worth The situation we were put in.

They have a no refunds policy. I spent 360 dollars on a a disgusting and smoke smell room that I couldn’t use. Manager will not refund your money.

They offered an ice bucket but had no ice! It was on a dead road with a lot garbage on the property which was such an eye sore. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a pet to stay the night!

It was very adequate and clean. I had forgotten my meds, which arrived the day after we left, snd the Manager sent them overnight to me for shipping and a nominal charge. We will definately stay there again!

The sheets had cigarette burns straight throigh to the mattress. I had to kill a roach with a bible. There was no internet, ice machine or vending machines of any kind. When i saw them clean the rooms, they brought fresh sheets and a vaccum cleaner but i saw zero signs of cleaning or dissinfecting products. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were coarse. Overall it was just very dated and dirty feeling. But it was cheap and i liked that a lot.
- Deboarah (2/5): - The room was absolutely filthy. The sheets were torn and dirty. The toilet had feces in it when we arrived as well as urine on the floor. The blinds were broken and allowed passerby to view inside the room. Please, do yourself a favor and find yourself another place to sleep.
