Guest Reviews
- Peter (10/5): Dejligt roligt sted - Mangler wifi i de små huse
- Ryan (10/5): Great value. - Great staff, good food, comfortable rooms. My second time staying there. Relaxing and a good value
- Ryan (10/5): Nice relaxing place... - Nice staff. Decent food. Comfortable rooms.
Great island hopping tour. My second time and I will come back.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Noisy, dirty, rude&unprofessional supervisor/staff - I don't normally write reviews but this place was VERY TRAUMATIC. We are a couple who wanted to have some quiet time. I got sick due to food poisoning before arrival & our room was right next to the busy kitchen + an all-night disco for 2 days next to our hotel. Normally we wouldn’t mind but since I was on high fever, my wife kindly asked them if we could be transferred to another room. Not possible that day, but the next day they promised they would transfer us. W/o explanation the next day, the vacant room was booked.
That evening, realizing that the noise would keep us awake anyway, we went out. We saw one of the staff there & asked what time the reception closes. She shrugged and said IT HAS CLOSED 9PM. We asked where to get our keys. She didn’t look very happy yet called another staff & told us that somebody will be waiting for us outside the reception for our keys. Upon arrival, the gate was open with no guard, a huge crowd of disco-goers outside, & our keys for two rooms laying just outside the reception area! Of course my wife mentioned this to the supervisor the next day but all of a sudden she took a hissy fit & rudely told my wife that it was a very busy fiesta season, and "since SHE’S A FILIPINA, SHE SHOULD UNDERSTAND! Even added, "DO YOU WANT ME TO KNEEL BEFORE YOU?"
Never mind that there are cockroaches in the room or rats running around the ceiling; but the supervisor and the other staff treated us really rudely. We left that place asap and will never return.
- sarah (10/5): Warm friendly staff - A haven of peace and quiet (except for the roosters!) lol great place to stop for a couple of days. The staff were excellent friendly and helpful even cooked my husband a special lunch we ate there breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was fabulous! Don't disregard this hotel because it is cheap you get a lot for a small amount of money! Well done casa rosa!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Hotel on the hill - Nice quiet place with ocean view. Food was good and staff friendly.
Would stay here again.
- Jon Fisher (10/5): Taytay bay view - 2 night stay in this chilled out town for a spot of birdwatching on the lake
- M (8/5): Best option in Taytay - The cottages were very pleasant. They are large with nice balconies and a great view. The room is nice though the bathroom is dated if clean.
Meals were efficiently produced and ok if not inspiring. The restaurant area is very nice again with great views.
The staff were efficient in this well run place but the staff lacked genuine warmth and enthusiasm and smiles were a bit rare.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with nice view and meal - No air-con. But room temperature OK with ceiling fan. No diving but relax, quite. Suitable for person who wan to peaceful.
- Hayley (6/5): Great view from resturant over looking small town. - Lovely small town with very few tourists. Stayed only 1 night but that was enough to walk around the night before and then the hotel arranged a bike to take us to the lake for sunrise...which is a must! We were the only people on the lake!
