Guest Reviews
- Philip (7/5): My third visit but the first with faults - The Italian restaurant is excellent as are the staff. Tv in room did not work and the door lock was faulty.
- Chris (1/5): Probably the worst room I’ve stayed in. - Nothing It had dirty shower curtain, rusty bath rails, etc. Fridge was old and dirty. No bed side lamps or power points.
- kiran (8/5): Comfortable, clean & convenient - Dinners were average & highly priced
The dessert 'warm' chocolate mousse with ice-cream was amazing!!! The shower head was defective
The light on the washbasin wasn't working
It takes a bit of adjusting to get the key to open the door from out
Meals are expensive
- David (10/5): Great little guest house - Clean rooms Being woke up at 2.55am by someone dragging their cases down the hallway and talking loud
- Margaret (1/5): Really bad stay - The staff were OK. The room was very cold the tv didn't work, the shower looked very old and light was not working.i spoke to one of the staff who moved me to another room where the light kept coming on. The place is very old ,furniture was old but for one night I throught it would be OK. However they choose to have a party at the restaurant downstairs. I could not sleep as the music was really loud and was none stop. There was the smell of cigarette everywhere In the end I decided to leave. I think my ears is damaged from the music. I would recommend staying too noisy.
- Kariuki (5/5): - The good location and hot water in the bathroom The reception was too casual and I seemed a bother. The bathroom bulb kept flickering and was too deem. The bathroom bulb switch was too high on the ceiling such that I had to step on the chair to reach out and felt misplaced.
- Raymond (1/5): DISAPPOINTED - We arrived a little early, late at night, as the flight landed early. The accommodation was open, although nobody responded to our shouts of ‚Hello‘. I phoned the contact number 3 times, with no response from the accommodation, although we could hear the phone ringing inside the locked-up Restaurant. We left and got a Hotel room elsewhere. No host to greet us, or instructions to pick up keys. As requested, a few days earlier, we sent an email to confirm that we were still going to the accommodation.
- Dewi Jorna (8/5): -
- Agness (10/5): - Quite room
- George (8/5): - Great value for money, quiet, easy check in and free parking Only negative was a cold shower
- Shanane (6/5): For the UK inexpensive & near Heathrow - Near Heathrow, staff was nice
- Aqeel (10/5): - Evwrythiing Nothing
- Azubuike (7/5): -

- Heather (7/5): Worth the money for an overnight stay - The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. A good lock on the door. Clean shower and toilet. Fridge, kettle, milk and hot drinks sachets in the room. I thought it was going to be super noisy, but when the planes stopped it was super quiet. Very friendly owner. Good car parking. Not brilliantly signposted.
- Martin (5/5): Good for the money but really needs hot water - Great location No running hot water in the shower, and the light popped during the night so had no light.
- Mabhub (6/5): - Ok for price
- Joanna (8/5): -
- Tim (6/5): Low Cost Place to Stay When You Just Need a Bed - Very flexible and easy to contact after a delayed flight.
Great location within 10 minute bus ride from T5 Heathrow
The lowest cost accommodation around. You get what you pay for - it's a place to sleep for a few hours when you need a bed.
- Wilkinson (2/5): No what i expect from bookin.com - RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT. Owner ver accommodating and helpful Wardrobe door couldnt move all broken at the bottom, glass all cracked. one of the sockets didn't work. Old shower, no hot water at all. Hole in the bathroom door. Dreadful I am afraid. GIVEN some marks for the charming owner and the restaurant.
- James (9/5): -
- Scott (10/5): - It was exactly what I needed for a long layover. Convenient. Staff was friendly. I actually didn’t mind the airplane noise (they’ve added a sort of second layer window I think? It helped block the sound). Most of the local restaurants had stopped serving food by the time I had arrived, but there was an Indian place 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Only downside was the fridge in the room wasn’t cold. For the price, will definitely stay there again.
- Wai Hung (8/5): - Fare price
- Vimukthi Lakshan Santhusha (7/5): -
- MARK (3/5): - The staff were very helpful Rooms were very tired and in need of a major rejuvenation. Broken sockets, shower head hanging off the wall, shower curtain stained. Bathroom floor dirty.
- Pauline (9/5): Value for money - Free parking
Ok but basic Could do with a revamp in the furnishings
- David (8/5): Convenient and friendly but a bit shabby too - Close to the airport with regular bus service. Good price. Friendly staff. The fridge didn't work. Ribs looked a little worn out.
- Ruth (7/5): Good for airport - Really close to heathrow. Did not hear any other guest or noise inside the guest house.
It's under the take off path for heathrow, airplane nose are inevitable, however took ear plugs and slept really well. The shower and toilet were really cramped, but clean.
- Stuart (8/5): - Good value for money. At this price I didn't expect much except cleanliness. It surpassed my expectations hence the 4 stars.
Room was basic but clean. Bathroom was tiny and could do with a refurb but it was usable for me.
This guest house is directly under the flight path, I had no issues with noise and slept well.
- Anthony (7/5): - Excellent location for heathrow airport. Small dated rooms,, but good value for a nights rest before or after a long flight.
- Raymond (2/5): Nothing good to say. - I have nothing good to say about this hotel. Will definitely not be staying again.
- Margareta (6/5): -
- Simon (1/5): Old, tired and not worth even 1 star - Nothing to like at all apart from the location to my work place! Room was small, unable to have window open as opened out onto the roof of the kitchen and the stench and heat from the extractor was unbearable. As a result the room was like a sauna the whole time with no air circulation. The bathroom was tiny and the shower curtain old and tatty. The shower tray was stained and there was no space between the toilet and where you stepped into the shower! Nowhere to sit no desk or place to put a laptop to work. Stained bed linen, dirty tired walls/paint, no coat hangers or door for the tiny cubby hole they classed as a wardrobe. Room door lock knackered and loss of hot water and pressure on last evening in shower.
- Cyryl (8/5): -
- Amy (4/5): W - The room was ok. Very small but fine for one night. There is no reception to book in. I was actually told that the hotel I went to wasn’t the one I booked at and send miles away only to find out it was actually that hotel. I had to walk into the restaurant that was closed and shout for someone to come and give me my room key. I felt an inconvenience. I would t go there again.
- Gareth (8/5): Safe, warm, cheap - It was really cheap and a great location with parking and late check out. I can't complain. It was so cheap, I don't think it's right for me to take issue with anything.
- Cynthia (10/5): - The staff is very kind and helpful
- Neale (10/5): Awesome value for quick stay before flying out from Heathrow! - While the room was probably the smallest room I've ever rented (I had the single with shared bathroom), it nevertheless did the job perfectly for a quick one-night stay before departing from Heathrow in the morning. Location couldn't be better, I was at my rental car return five minutes after leaving. Shared bathroom was clean and spacious. And for 30-something pounds, it was a great deal! This will be my first choice from now on if I have a morning flight from Heathrow!
- Vermaak (6/5): Pleasant - Close to airport ,free parking, own restaurant and nearby pub
Very comfy bed
I would stay again if needed accommodation next to airport Light above basin did not work
Light in shower so high up on ceiling could not reach it
Shower curtain a bit gungy
- Sharon (7/5): Good - The location for reason we were there The bathroom could have been better
- Gayle (4/5): Spend your money elsewhere - This was v poor quality accommodation. Many things were broken in both rooms e.g cracked mirror, curtain rings, toilet seat lid, shower only hanging by 1 screw, damaged cupboards, mussing bathroom tiles, gaffer tape on floor, missing tv from brackets to name a few.
Generally not a nice environment to walk into - had a feel of bedsits to it and left us with a feeling of unease.
- Terence (6/5): Perfect for an overnight stop. Very close to parking areas -
- Chris (6/5): Pleasant -
- Glen (8/5): You get what you pay for , good cheap B&B - As they say …. You get what you pay for , but good clean comfy bed, it’s definitely a workers B&B , fridge didn’t work in room , no where to hang anything in room, shower although Hot was very old.
- Aaron (7/5): Good - Good location, comfy bed Cold shower
- Amma (6/5): - Barebones room but it was fine for an overnight stay. There are limited food options nearby but there is an attached restaurant, although a bit pricey.
- Nadene (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (8/5): - The shower requires a new shower head holder in the shared bathroom as you have to hold the head while showering.
- Jane (3/5): Not the best place to stay - It was cheap Right under flightpath for lhr. Needs a lot of updating
- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Nice area and the staff there were very helpful.
Thank you so much
- Antony (7/5): Not bad for the price. - Pretty clean (maybe the walls could do with a wipe down), comfortable, friendly staff, plenty of parking. TV and Wi-Fi both worked. Very basic, but good for what I paid. Noisy air conditioning from restaurant kitchen below (although this stopped at night. The bathroom light switch didn't always work.
- Daniel (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend staying here’s - Bed was comfy and good quality sheets The bathroom was atrocious. No space to actually get to the toilet itself because of where the sink is. The water in the shower doesn’t drain well. The door to the bathroom doesn’t shut properly.
Quite noisy because on a main road.
- Gretel (8/5): Extremely handy for Heathrow Terminal 2, only 12 mins away. - The staff were really lovely, smiling and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet them.
The restaurant was great, hand made garlic cheese bread as a late night snack was ideal.
My room was very warm, but it was an exceptionally hot evening weather wise. Being in Heathrow flight path is noisy until about 11.15pm, but ear plugs helped.
- Barry (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): - It did its purpose
- Jon (10/5): Would definitely recommend. - Last minute booking. You get what you pay for and it was definitely worth £50. Obviously noisy with flights landing and taking off but stopped after 11pm. Room was warm but how often do we get such high temperatures. Food in the restaurant was excellent along with the service.
- Lucy (8/5): - We stayed for 1 night and it was ideal for our early flight from Heathrow in the morning. It was a tad noisy, but to be expected in the area! All in all, good value for money
- Rahul (10/5): - Great location. Lovely room.
- Richard (10/5): - Twice I stayed here now and it’s a great spot near Heathrow. You wouldn’t think there was somewhere so lively there but There’s a great Italian restaurant and bar there which always is busy and great atmosphere. Lije being somewhere else other than next to runway! The rooms far enough away to have a great sleep but if you need there’s always a nice scene going on in the bar. The owners so welcoming he always seems to make an effort to say hello and remembers you! The chef who works the pizza ovens real cool as well he made me laugh and feel part of family. Which is something the Italians do so well - very good value for money and when I have to go there I always want to make time for a night in colnbrook!
- Ian (4/5): - Room was shabby and very Smelly. Poorly decorated with paint peeling of the walls
- Penny (7/5): Spot on for what I wanted…somewhere clean and comfy to sleep before a flight - Next to the airport and reasonably priced.
Attached to an excellent Italian restaurant Shared toilet potentially but no one else seemed to be in
- DENEAL JUNE (4/5): Not so great - Not the best at all
- Judith (10/5): - Very noisy
- Laine (8/5): Close to Heathrow - Room OK, large but only 2 electric outlets. Nice hot water in shower; handy little shelves in bathroom. Free parking
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (8/5): I will stay again if returning to England (via Heathrow.) - Excellent location as it’s less than 10 minutes to Heathrow by public bus which you can catch right out the door. The noise of the airplanes overhead might be annoying to some. (Bring earplugs)
- Bryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monika (3/5): Bed for the night if you like Faulty Towers experience - If you need a bed before an early flight go for it. Rooms are tiny, bathrooms even smaller. Both me and my husband are average built, but if I was a booger person I would not be able to get to the toilet as the sink was pretty much above it. So to say you can sit on the toilet and wash your hands while your legs are in the shower base. Room had cables hanging, random holes in the ceiling and the walls. My husbands bed was broken (which we only realised in the morning). Coffee/tea facilities are in the room, but we goad no needs to use them as we’ve arrived late and were leaving at 5am. Bed linen was clean and the lady who gave us the key was very nice (probably the reason why we didn’t complain about the state of the room). Overall if you have a different choice I would avoid it. But if you are looking for a budget bed before going away outside of Ulez zone like we did it’s probably acceptable. P.s. the restaurant downstairs looked lovely, but we were too tired to try it.
- Derrick (2/5): Horrible - first room dirty no light in the bathroom second room smelt of damp. 3 rd room had paint peeling off the walls filthiest shower. but was the best of the three. Had no choice but to stay due to the late hour. but would never stay again
- Kenneth (10/5): Staff were very friendly food is amazing very good location for Heathrow Airport - Very clean and a fantastic restaurant with amazing Italian food would definitely recommend eating there..!!
- Denise (1/5): Never again - Dirty Smell and room was dirty
- Jonathan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Neil (6/5): - Ideal for park and ride
- Lewin (8/5): Good value - The room is pretty basic, but that's all I needed.
Hot water is hot, heating works, window opens if it's too hot.
The Restaurant below looked and smelled really good, although I didn't eat there.
Free parking on site.
Bus stop outside will take you direct to terminal 5 for £2. TV didn't seem to work. (I probably should have reported this)
- Richard (4/5): Poor - Dripping taps, stained bath and tiles hanging off the wall. Dump.
- Richard (7/5): Good location, cheap and cheerful, clean with free parking but could be modernised. - Great location and price reflects what you get. Clean but tired. Just a place to lay your head. Bed comfy and free parking which matters when keeping the price down. Ideal for quick cheap work stopover . It’s cheap so can’t ask for too much. Bit more modern maybe, bit bigger tv. Shower fan really noisy, would be nice to just be more upto date.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Cheap but very basic rooms. - Rooms require complete overhaul. Very dated furniture. Tiny poorly maintained en suite. Intermittent noise from water pump which kept me awake.
Italian Restaurant was relatively good food.
- Angie (2/5): Dreadful - The restaurant was very good. Food was lovely. The room was dingy and the en-suite was tiny with a grimy shower and broken toilet flush button, so you had to poke your finger in. Only one plug socket was working in the room so you had to choose between TV, kettle, hairdryer, phone/laptop charger etc. No staff there throughout the night and the fire alarm was bleeping really loudly every 10 seconds from 1am for the rest of the night which kept me and my colleague, who was on the opposite side, awake all night.
- Lynn (6/5): Only there for II hours to sleep leaving 7 am next morning. - Location for Heathrow. Rooms looking a little tired.
- Aleshanee (8/5): Thank you for having me, it was great and convenient stay. - Dinner at the restaurant downstairs was fabulous. Edison was a perfectly kind staff member who helped me as much as he could, and made sure I had a comfortable stay. My room was clean and there was free tea which was great, a little grocery store a hop, skip and a jump down the road. The bed was super comfy. Shower was freezing even though I waited for several minutes, and there was no water pressure.
It would be great to share more information about the bus line from terminal 5 because that would have been super convenient, instead I took a taxi from the airport and got scammed.
- Babalola (9/5): Superb -
- Narinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- mbati (8/5): - It was ok for a 1 night. Close to the airport which was good for a late flight in the day
- Simon (2/5): Terrible, terrible, terrible - Terrible, terrible, terrible…
Tiny room, dirty room, dirty shower, taps not working and alarm went off from 2.45am with nobody to contact.
- Lez (7/5): Great for work but not for leisure. - Great location, nice, polite staff, plenty of parking. Room was too small.Couldn't get the smart TV to work.Bathroom fan was very noisy
- Lee (7/5): 2 day trip - Good location to get to and from Heathrow Terminal 5 and to the football over in Brentford Shower was bit dated
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bit of a funny little place right under the flight path but the noise didn’t bother me as the planes stopped in the early hours and didn’t start again until early morning.
The bed was comfortable and the room adequate. The double glazing was rather worn out and didn’t close properly which may have helped with the aircraft noise
- Sarda (3/5): Not the best - Parking was great and secure I realized it was also a restaurant and bar, but was told to go elsewhere as they weren't open for another hour. The room wasn't ready on time even though the place wasn't full and I had to find other places to go as I kept being told to wait a bit longer each time. The TV in the room didn't work, nor did the Wifi connect, as confirmed by the cleaner. There was no soap and the milk had curdled. I don't usually reply, but you asked.
- Casey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosalie (9/5): A perfect budget option to stay close to heathrow - The owners were very nice and helpful! Room had everything you need and good price quality The wifi didnt work well which was kind of uncomfortable when you need to get a flight
- Steve (8/5): Met my expectations - I just needed a bed and shower for the night. The facilities were basic but more than suited my needs. Cheap, cheerful and functional.
- Aziz (5/5): Passable -
- Valerie (5/5): More concerned with restaurant customers than their room guests - quick and easy from airport to hotel by bus TV didn't work, and the staff were too busy with their restaurant customers to fix it. The table was broken, and we couldn't close the windows - got down to 5 degrees that night, so was quite cold in bed. No heating was on.
- Faqir (8/5): - Amazing
- Courtney (1/5): Not great value for money but location good - Near airport but taxi still £20 plus Room was run down and dirty, bed had hair, uncomfy, very cold in room tv didn’t work either and shower not great plus shower curtain was dirty
- Martin (2/5): Poor service, loud music till 2am not what I was expecting. Room is very basic and in poor condition - Very close to the location that I needed to be at and close to airport On arrival they took 30 minutes to book me in as they could not operate the system, then when finally taken me to my room at 11.30pm they started playing music in the restaurant (at midnight) this loud music continued until 2am! there was no one in the restaurant other then the staff, so no reason to be making such noise. The planes then start coming past the room at 5am (this is to be expected as close to the runway but be warned). The room is in very poor condition but it was cheap and the bed seemed clean.
