- Jonathan (10/5): Very helpful host. - Kerinda, the owner, goes out of her way to make sure guests are happy. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area and has lots of suggestions. Takes the trouble to remember your kid's names. Great breakfast too.

She went out of her way to be helpful and made several great suggestions of places to visit along the coast traveling to our next location. Breakfast was very good, especially the eggs benedict. The room and bathroom were very large. Although the B & B is in a neighborhood, it was quiet.

The lady owner was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t do more to make sure that we had a good stay and knew things to do in the local area. We stayed in the triple room with an additional bed as we were a 2a and 2x family. We were all comfortable and slept well. Had a fab evening all snuggled in bed watching a film on Netflix as it was terribly windy and cold. Great breakfast (continental was included but she would happily do a cooked for a small extra sum). Included: croissants (jam), toast (butter), cereal, yoghurts and fruit. Great location close in Lynton to access activities on foot. Ideas of the location area: cliff railway down to Lynmouth: free museum about the flood in 1952, gorge museum and walk, children’s playground with zip wire (free), shops, sweet shop with local fudge (yum), fish and chips, beach. Great cafes with well priced sandwiches. Up in Lynton there is an arts and crafts shop in an old church - fab! Old cinema which shows 2 films per day. The Picnic Box was fab and made us sandwiches and a salad for our day trip home (also do scones/jam/cream - yum!). Food and shops too. Fab view of the sea from next to the church too. I would highly recommend Lynton and Lynmouth as an area to visit. Also in the local area - valley of the rocks (views/walks) and Dunster (National trust). Fernliegh topped our mini break off perfectly and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay! Thanks!
- Frances (8/5): Hidden away little gem. - Booked this last minute and had a very warm welcome. Corinda could not have been more accommodating. We were given a lovely apart/room. Very comfortable bed. Lovely and warm. Great location walking distance to local pub and restaurants.Would stay again.

- Mark (10/5): - Bed and Breakfast was a great place to stay, nice and central to Lynton. The breakfast both continental and full were great, the full breakfast was very much worth the little extra. The manager was friendly and very helpful and helped us out with some booking problems we had. Highly recommend this place to stay. If you do get the little kitchenette, there are a couple of shops in town to pick up some food items.

- Rauli (10/5): Best hotel that we had in south west of England - We arrived late and our hostess´ priority was that we get something to eat and she stayed up late for us and was very friendly. After good tapas, wine and local pub we came back to our lovely room that was made for its perfection with matching wallpaper and curtains and small details. Very clean and cosy room with good shower and amazing view to the village. Breakfast was good and hostess´ was very helpfull and flexible. Very pleasant stay and lovely staff including the most adorable dog, Lulu that was visiting hotel that day. :)

- Bilquis (10/5): Perfect! - My husband and I enjoyed our 2stay at Fernleigh Guest House. Our host Kerinda was very accommodating, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable We stayed in the self-catering apartment. The place was perfect for our needs- clean, quiet, comfortable, good shower, plenty of hot water and well maintained. Private entrance and spacious car park. Apartment had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, We had full English served on sunny terrace - ideal before a long walk. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting that part of Devon - Lynton is a beautiful town and the guest-house is easy to find, only 2 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, yet very quite off street spot .Also close to all the beautiful walks – We walked to Valley of the Rocks, Lynmouth and woody bay and didn’t have to use our car. Views from the church were breath taking! Thank You. Hope to stay again soon. Many thanks. Recommended
