- YUKIKO (9/5): また宿泊したい。良い旅の思い出をありがとうございました。 - 窓から見える白浜の風景は最高でした。日の出も見られました。駅から無料定期バスが出ているのも助かりました。 車いす対応もしていただけ助かりました。バスに乗って、その車窓から見える海の風景にワクワク感がありました。 最初は和室で申し込みましたが、車いす利用で最適な場所を提供して下さり、その心遣いが嬉しかったです。 入浴施設にタオルが置いてあったので、夕方と朝の2回入れました。小さなビニール袋も助かりました。 入浴施設に貴重品ボックスがあるのも助かりました。 露天風呂に行く道がとても寒くて夕方は入りませんでしたが、朝、思い切って入ってみたら、そのお湯の素晴らしさに感動しました。身障者の対応として、段差の少ないのが有難かったです。 お土産売り場の商品が気に入ったものが多く、お土産はここで良いとすぐに思いました。 夕飯で、屋台カードは、お客さんがワクワクできるのでとても良い企画だと思いました。 朝食のアジの開きは、その場で焼いてくれているのも嬉しかったし、油が乗って美味しかったです。 おかずの品数が多いのも良かったです。 アロエのデザートが珍しいし、ヘルシー感があったし、美味しかったです。 名物「黒米うどん」がとても珍しく美味しかったです。お土産に買いました。 「星座」という広間だけあって、星座の照明が良かった。良いセンスをしていると思いました。 利用している客層も良かったです。笑顔や穏やかな表情、また車いす利用という事で、先を譲ろうとして下さる方や話しかけてくれる人もいて、嬉しかったです。 部屋の作りが使いやすかったです。 庭から海が眺められて良かったです。夏にはさぞ家族連れでにぎわうだろうと思いました。プールの横にサウナや温泉の湯舟があって最高ですね❣ 朝食後から会計が出来るのは、良いアイデアだと思いました。 キンメダイが有名なので、キンメダイの刺身を期待していたのですが、キンメダイの煮つけだけだったので、残念だった。 そして、マグロの刺身が解凍した食感で美味しくなかった。刺身は、キンメダイだけでも良いと思いました。煮つけだと、キンメダイの本当の味が分からない。（煮つけは美味しかったですが。）
- Stefanie Marianne (7/5): Für eine Nacht unschlagbares Preisleistungsverhältnis an einen schönen Sandstrand - Hotel kann man ohne Probleme buchen, darf aber keinen Luxus oder topmoderne Ausstattung erwarten. Es ist halt ein älteres Hotel, das aber in guten Händen ist und ein Hotelpersonal gute Arbeit leistet. Das Zimmer war für uns absolut in Ordnung. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war sauber, für uns ist das das Entscheidende! Wir waren für eine Nacht dort (auf der Durchreise von der Ostküste zur Westlüste der Izu Halbinsel) wollten unbedingt am Shirahamasttrand übernachten. Der Blick auf die Bucht ist sehr schön, eine Straße liegt dazwischen. Voll schade: morgens hat es geregnet und wir kamen abends erst in Dunkelheit an. Am Strand fand aber ein Wassersport Kurs statt. Im Hotel gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Die Poolanlage war noch nicht bereit für die Saison, so war es auch in der Beschreibung zu lesen. Es war sowieso noch viel zu kalt. Sehr großer Parkplatz. Großes Frühstücksbuffet, mit wenig Europäischem, aber das war nicht schlimm. Der Frühstücksraum ist ein sehr großer Veranstaltungsraum mit Bühne, alles sehr groß. Wir waren die zwei einzigen Europäer beim Frühstück, das war eine lustige Erfahrung. Es gibt ein Hotel Onsen, das wir nicht besucht haben. Seltsam fand ich, dass man im Zimmer kein Parfüm auflegen darf, das würde eine Geldstrafe nach sich ziehen, wenn das Zimmer danach riecht. Das hat sicherlich kulturelle Gründe. Gut, dass ich so etwas gar nicht nutze. - Das hotel wäre nichts für einen längeren Aufenthalt für mich persönlich - Umgebung bietet nicht viel

We had a week to spend in Shimoda and knew we could use the shuttle to get to the station and back each day. So we were able to visit Seven Waterfalls, Dogoshima Cave, the Floating Aquarium, and our favorite restaraunts and cafes in town. Excellent view from spacious room, very helpful and kind staff, pleasant indoor/outdoor onsen. It fit the needs of this older couple. The breakfast is generous but became repetitive after a few days. And the breakfast room lacks charm. But not everyone would stay in one place for a week.

There was a pool as well. - Nicole (8/5): Erholsam. Toller Onsen-Bereich - Das Zimmer im japanischen Stil hat uns gut gefallen! Die Futons waren sehr bequem. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer aufs Meer grandios! Das Frühstück war gut, wenn man sich auf japanisches Frühstück einstellt. Ramen, Curry etc. waren lecker. Meeresfrüchte gab es nicht, aber gebratenen Fisch. Abendessen haben wir nicht gebucht. Der Shuttle von/zum Bahnhof hat bestens funktioniert. Pools sehr angenehm und reichlich Liegestühle. Ganz toll waren die heißen Quellen mit hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten. Das Hotel wirkt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gerade dies hat einen besonderen Flair. Wir mochten es. Das Personal spricht nicht besonders gut Englisch, soll aber kein Minuspunkt sein.

Nous étions 4 et dans les chambres avec futons (chambre quadruple de style japonais) et le personnel vient même faire et défaire votre couchage. Petit déjeuner et dîner sous forme de buffet. Le personnel est très gentil et ils sont tous beaux avec leurs chemises hawaïennes. Toute la famille a adoré son séjour ici. Certains diront que le bâtiment est un peu vieillissant mais ça va et ça a son charme.

- David (6/5): Disappointing, won't return - It's close to the beach. They have a pool, but no pool towels. They have 2 restaurants, but they're expensive and require advance reservation. The location is just far enough away from things that you can't walk, and their shuttle doesn't run into the evening. It's just plain inconvenient, even with a car.
