• János (8/5): Kiváló pihenőhely. - Vasilis, készséges, segítőkész volt mindenben. A szállást minden nap takarították, 3 naponta tiszta ágyneműt hoztak. Csendes, közel a tengerpart. Van saját éttermük is, de érdemes több helyen is megkóstolni a helyi ételeket. A konyha lehetne kicsit jobban felszerelt. Azt hirdették, hogy van napágy, de ezért napi 8 eurót kértek, amit nem lehetett lefogyasztani sem. Szinte minden más helyen ingyenes a napágy, ha van fogyasztás.
• Nina (10/5): Anytime again! - Apartment: Really nice welcome by our host Vasilis, cute & clean Apartment. Small kitchenette with every you need (maybe 1 more bowl Vasilis :D), a comfy couch and balcony to relax. Bathroom with shower also very clean. Like custom in Grete: The toilet paper gets thrown in a seperate bin not in the toilet! This bin was cleared out every day around 11. There was a AC we didn't use, it probably worked quite alright. Location: Nice location not too close to Chania but very vibrant nevertheless. A lot of mini markets, ice cream shops and restaurants nearby, beach directly upfront. Also a small shower for the feet infront of the entrance. Also a life saver is on duty from 10 to 18 directly at the beach (flags indicating wether it is save to swim) Parking available infront with a small car & parking skills or directly at the bigger street. Even though there is a lot going on around this place even at night time, it was never noisy. We didn't hear the cars or the people, only the waves crashing onto the beach. I think we ordered another apartment on booking.com. Maybe contact the owner and talk beforehand which apartment at which floor you want if possible to get the best option!
• Neut005 (9/5): Fijn appartement op een leuke locatie - Voortreffelijk appartement voorzien van alle benodigdheden en een prettig balkon. Leuke inrichting en aan alles was duidelijk aandacht besteed en goed onderhouden. Fijne fluisterstille airco. 50m van zee en je loopt zo de winkelstraat op met vele restaurants. Aardig personeel. Je hoeft maar te kikken en het wordt voor je geregeld als je iets vraagt. De bedden werden elke dag opgemaakt, regelmatig worden de handdoeken vervangen, de badkamer schoon gemaakt alleen een beetje stofzuigen had wel fijn geweest. Verder alles echt prima.

• Anastasia (10/5): - I was pleasantly surprised of the size the unit was. It was situated on a lane way, and at the end was a restaurant serving the most wonderful Greek cuisine overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Lots of rocks which personally I wasn’t a fan of. There were so many restaurants, shops, supermarkets and of course beach bars for all ages. Only a 20 minute drive from Chania. I would definitely go there again.❤️
• Barbara (8/5): - L'appartamento è a neanche 50 metri dal mare (con lunghissima spiaggia raggiungibile in meno di 1 minuto) e il nostro appartamento (monolocale con vista mare) aveva una vista veramente fantastica (vale la pena pagare un po' di più). Anche dall'interno della camara si sentiva il rumore delle onde del mare. Nel nostro appartamento c'erano due terrazze, una con lo stendino e la più grande attrezzata con tavolo, sedie, una poltroncina e un tavolino. Intorno ci sono risporanti, supermercati e tutto il necessario. Quando siamo arrivati l'appartamento era molto sporco (polvere e capelli per terra, semi e polvere di caffè davanti al frigo, WC sporco). Lo abbiamo segnalato all'host che il giorno dopo è venuto con la signora delle pulizie chiedendoci di farle vedere dove era sporco. Il pomeriggio siamo tornati e l'appartamento era nelle stesse condizioni. Lo abbiamo segnalato nuovamente al proprietario che è venuto lui stesso a pulire ma solo nei punti specifici da noi segnalati. E' un vero peccato perché il posto è carino (anche se non nuovissimo come appare dalla foto). Negli altri tre posti in cui abbiamo alloggiato a Creta abbiamo sempre trovato una pulizia impeccabile.

A pochissimi passi da una spiaggia che offre un lungo tratto di mare con sabbia mista a scogli (condizioni ottime anche per lo snorkeling). La coppia di lettini con ombrellone a 8 € per tutto il giorno. Noi avevamo una ampia terrazza sul mare. Bella la coccola dalle sue onde di notte. Comoda e di buona qualità la taverna di famiglia sulla spiaggia (chiusa il martedì). Molto buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo del soggiorno. Non c’è un parcheggio ufficiale, ma abbiamo sempre avuto la possibilità di parcheggiare l’auto nella strada interna (nonostante l’altissima stagione). Sempre disponibile e attento a ogni dettaglio il proprietario che vive nella struttura e ne supervisiona direttamente il buon andamento. Pur comprendendo la legittima esigenza del proprietario di tutelarsi di fronte a comportamenti incivili o inopportuni di certi ospiti, abbiamo avvertito come un po’ eccessivi e troppo “urlati” i numerosi avvisi di divieti (con relative penali) appesi alla porta… fa molto “collegio”.

• Lorraine (7/5): Nice property - Lovely room with everything we needed. Vasilis was very helpful and gave us details of a laundry nearby as we needed to do some washing. Paid a little extra for a room with sea view balcony and the picture looked like it was an unobscured sea view, but there were buildings partly blocking the view. The taverna that is run by the owner’s son and attached to the accommodation was shut for the season - we booked partly for this so that was disappointing. As it was end of season there was not so much nightlife and we were not located near lots of restaurants.

• Nadia (10/5): The best place to spend your holidays. - The property was very clean and the owner was a sweetheart! Very welcoming and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Before the stay the owner reached out and asked for the time I arrive and if I needed transfer that he could arrange for me. I had rented a car so I didn’t need it, but I thought was very nice of him. There’s AC, smoke alarms, the shower is 10/10, there’s a kitchenette with two hobs, some pots and pans, cutlery, basically anything you would need to cook if you had to. There’s also a first aid kit which I thought was a nice touch (other places didn’t have it). It’s not a double bed, it was two singles placed together. Not sure if they have double beds in other rooms, but you can definitely ask because the owner is so sweet and accommodating!! The beach is LITERALLY 20 feet down the road! His son owns the restaurant next to the property and the food is AMAZING. It’s a beautiful family and community based culture and I loved every single second I spent on that island. Really felt at home xx Absolutely nothing
• Fredgreece (10/5): Vasilis studio's is recommended for everyone. - We had a fantastic stay at Vasilis Studios in Agia Marina. The host, Vasileios, was incredibly friendly and provided clear explanations. He speaks very good English, which made communication easy. The studio itself was beautiful; recently renovated, with comfortable beds, a great bathroom, and an efficient kitchenette that was fully equipped. The cleanliness was excellent, and the spacious terrace with a sea view was a big plus. The location couldn't have been better: just 30 meters from the beach and equipped with excellent air conditioning. The restaurant owned by Vasileios' son is located directly in front of the studios on the beach. For just €7, you can enjoy two sunbeds and a parasol there. Additionally, there was no noise disturbance, which contributed to a relaxing stay. There was a nice café with a terrace on the corner of the street, and there are plenty of restaurants in the nearby area. It’s truly a wonderful place to stay, and I can recommend it to everyone. I can recommend Vasilis Studios to everyone. If I were to return, I would definitely choose the same accommodation. We had a very pleasant stay! A small tip for improvement: the beach could be managed more commercially. It should be kept clean and leveled daily. The beach service could also be faster and better organized. One idea is to offset the cost of the sunbeds with the drinks and meals you consume, and possibly add more sunbeds.

• Aleksandra (10/5): Great place to stay for a beach getaway - The room had all amenities needed for our stay. It was comfortable and having 2 balconies was great. A big plus is the cleaning service - done every day. The property is located near a bus stop - very convenient for trips to Chania. Many shops nearby for fresh bread etc. The owner is helpful and nice. The view from the balcony is obstructed by chimneys and installations of nearby restaurants. We would have liked if there was an oven in the kitchen.
• John (1/5): Place ok, but don't get the towels or the sheet dirty! Too many ridiculous rules to respect - The structure has too many rules to respect, Also ridiculous. For example, if you make a fire in the room you pay 15.000€. If you get the towel or the sheet dirty, you pay. You pay for everything, even for the most ridiculous things. You can see the rules in the pictures attached. Furthermore, the owner (or the man who gave us the keys) was unpleasant. Update: after the feedback, the structure tried to call me many times, disturbing me during my holiday. Then the owner wrote me a message in a very poor english, insulting me and my girlfriend. I immediately contacted the Booking.com assistance to report it.
• Amanda (2/5): Very poor - The hotel is in a very nice area, right next to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood! This trip was a birthday present for my sister in law and her husband. The reason why I chose to book at Studios Vasillis, was because of the high rating they had gotten on booking. The rating did not suit how the experience for my sister in law really was. The floor was dirty with hair and sand when they arrived. It was hair in the shower as well, which means that they didn’t properly clean after the previous guests. Be aware that there are posters on the door with rules that are not available at booking.com in the description of the room. One of these posters contains a list of fees you have to pay if you “ruin or damage” things in the room. For example that you have to pay for new towels if you spill sunscreen on them. This is a completely normal thing, as you’re obviously staying at a hotel near the beach. I have never heard of such rules in any of the other hotels in agia marina. If you spill sunscreen on the towels, they wash them for you in other hotels. However, both in the description in booking and on the poster it says that cleaning of the room is included. That wouldn’t be right my sister in law and her husband only had their trash taken out. The floors were not cleaned. the owner informed them that the cleaning lady had several days of during their stay and that it was their responsibility to clean the room themselves. As I’ve looked through the reviews again, which I should have done more thoroughly before booking, I can see how the owner responds to bad reviews. No wonder why people don’t inform about the things they are unhappy with until they leave.

• Karoline (10/5): Great place, great host, great son with his own taverna - would recommend! - We had a really great time at Studios Vasilis! The host was very friendly and attentive, very smooth communication. The studio was modern, spacious and clean, with two balconies - one with an amazing sea view! The room was cleaned daily, and new towels and linens every 3 days. Super close to the beach, and supermarkets/shops just a short walk from the studio. There was also a taverna right in front of the studios, with great food and great service! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back:-) PS: The balcony with sea view is a great place to get engaged at;-) Everything was great:-)

Location in the tourist center, 50m from the sea. It was nothing to worrying about. You can negotiate with the service about the exact cleaning hours, so the accommodation is very flexible and adapts to the client

Fresh vegetables, fruit, bread and coffee every morning. view of the sea from the terrace of the apartment. Unfortunately, the tavern on our beach, which belongs to the owners son, was closed, and we couldn't visit the praised place.

• Suzy (10/5): A perfect stay with such a warm and friendly, helpful host. - We had a perfect stay at Studios Vasilis. The apartment was beautifully maintained and as advertised. Vasilis was the perfect host - discreet but on hand whenever we needed his recommendations or help organising taxis for example. Vasilis met us at the property when we arrived even though this was very late and was there to collect the keys and wave goodbye. The apartment was attended by a cleaner each day to empty waste baskets etc and we were provided with clean towels and bedding every couple of days which is not always the case when going self catering so this was a lovely touch. Even though we did not cook in the apartment as we were spoilt for choice in local eateries the apartment was very well equipped if you wanted to dine in. The beds and pillows were super comfy and we loved how quiet it was and could even hear the sea. The location was excellent- 30 metres from a beautiful beach that had a lifeguard and all facilities such as loungers, restaurants and bars. There was a fabulous supermarket 5 minutes walk away that had everything you would need plus a delicious bakery within it. The apartment is perfectly located for all the best eateries within easy walking distance and it was just a 30 minute bus ride into Chania. Vasilis assisted with airport transfer taxi arrangements and we simply had the most perfect holiday - we absolutely would love to return and highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return with family one day. We could not fault this accomodation or the host we had a perfect holiday that exceeded our expectations.

• Oljenkorsi (10/5): Superb, recommend, it is a great place to stay! - Excellent location right at the beach, also close to the main street where the restaurants and bars are but the room was very quiet and it did not bother us at all. The room was spotless and you can tell that the owner had kept the room in great condition. Correctly applied silicone in the wet areas, no mold at all! (usually, this is not the case, every other of our 6 hotels we stayed in, had very dirty and moldy rooms). Very clean and fresh looking rooms as the room had been maintained right and cleaner has cleaned it properly! We will take this place also in the future and we recommend to our family and friends this also. Great free Wifi! And we did not have to pay for the sun beds and sunbrella if you are a quest (other places did charge for this). Handing over the keys could be specified in more detail, in the description where you can pick up the keys (check-in). And also where to leave the keys (check-out). You can do this at the Studios restaurant next to it. But anyways everything else was great.

There are lots of restaurants and facilities at your doorstep There is also a lovely restaurant next door on the beach front in case you don't feel like going too far. We enjoyed our stay here.

My room stayed cool most of the day, air conditioning was needed intermittently at night and was really quiet. The bed was really comfortable with good pillows. Great shower and the kitchen was well equipped. The adjoining restaurant was great and the staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again

The room was renovated, nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host was very friendly, he organized an airport pick up for us and helped us with later check-in and check-out. Location was awesome right on the beach and in the center of agia marina where is many restaurants, shops and bars. Chania old town is just a short 10-15 minute drive. The hotel also has a restaurant attached to it that is run by his sons. Great food and many choices. This hotel was awesome and would recommend to anyone.
