• Kim (8/5): Prachtig verblijf als je van rust en natuur houdt en ver weg wil zijn van alle grote resorts. - De rust, de kleinschaligheid, goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel, schone kamers. Als je echt tot rust wil komen en van wandelen en natuur houdt is dit een uitstekende plek om te verblijven. Zwembad is niet verwarmd en dus in sommige seizoenen niet aangenaam, goed om rekening mee te houden. Het ligt echt afgelegen van andere plekken. Als je gewoon alleen rust wil, is dat geen enkel probleem en juist een bonus. Wil je wat meer ondernemen, hou er dan rekening mee dat je echt 30 min onderweg bent tenminste. Er waren veel dingen die het hotel voor je kon organiseren. Ook taxi's van en naar het vliegveld werden uitstekend geregeld. Het was heel leuk als je terug kwam van een tocht dat iemand van het personeel je opwachtte. Dat gaf een heel welkom gevoel. Je kan niet zwemmen in zee vanaf deze plek. Dat is goed om vooraf te weten. Wij hadden veel bewolking, maar als het erg zonnig is, zit je niet beschut bij je huis, omdat een parasol waarschijnlijk niet haalbaar is vanwege de (aangename, maar soms harde) wind. Je moet je dan echt heel goed beschermen tegen de zon om niet te verbranden. Soms was het water in de avond koud als 2 mensen al kort hadden gedoucht.

• Thomas (10/5): A fabulous location, the ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. The staff is fantastic and the food absolutely delicious - Everything: the location, the lodge, the food, the staff: everything absolutely great!
• Nicole (8/5): - Tucked away in a wonderfully remote location near the coast, this place feels like a true escape. The food was outstanding—we especially loved the dinners. The pool and yoga area quickly became our favorite spots to relax and unwind. We also really appreciated the thoughtful ecological approach, which added an extra layer of meaning to the overall experience. We experienced some discomfort with the bed - the mattress seems to be placed on a concrete structure, which did not work for us. We were also a bit surprised by the number of rules in place. While we fully understood and respected ecological guidelines, other rules felt somewhat at odds with what we expected from a premium "escape" accommodation. For example, the restriction on having snacks in the lounge area next to the pool gave us the impression of limited flexibility, which contrasted with the otherwise relaxed and inviting atmosphere of the property.

• Delphine (10/5): Incroyable. - L’endroit est incroyable avec une vue exceptionnelle. L’écolodge est isolé, paisible, confortable et relaxant. Le petit déjeuné copieux et les repas de très grande qualité. Le personnel est très attentif à notre confort et très agréable. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit. Il y a une navette gratuite (25 min de Sal Rey) 3 fois par semaine. Pour plus d’autonomie il est recommandé de louer un 4x4 car c’est une longue piste rocailleuse pour accéder à l’écolodge. Rien, tout été parfait.
• anne (10/5): Le paradis sur terre, bien caché - Le cadre est enchanteur : rien autour, juste les chèvres et les ânes le matin. Les installations se fondent dans la nature. Les maisonnettes sont très joliment décorées, la literie excellente, la salle de bain très grande. La piscine est belle et on y nage facilement. Les repas sont de grande qualite, on se régale. Enfin l'accueil est à la hauteur du lieu : délicatesse, gentillesse. C'est le meilleur etablissement dans lequel nous avons séjourné sue 10 jours. Rien.

• Amanda (10/5): A magical luxury lodge in the centre of nature - Everything was excellent. It was a really magical place quite extraordinary. It is in the middle of a nature reserve - sea and fine white sand beaches a stroll away. Amazing food a different fresh menu served everyday for dinner. Rooms are little stone cottages with huge beds and white lacy mosquitoe nets. I kept my front door wide open to listen to the sea and feel the breeze. Amazing yoga studio open on 3 sides to nature- it felt amazing first thing in the morning to do my routine. An exceptional level of service from the staff and a wonderful pool to relax in after a hot dusty walk through the dunes. It really doesn’t get much better than this Nothing

• Kiki (9/5): Another fantastic, tranquil stay - ​This was our second visit to Spingeura, and it remains a truly wonderful escape. ​It was a lovely space to unwind from busy city life; being surrounded by such expansive, beautiful landscapes was incredibly refreshing. The location is excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were consistently kind, professional and welcoming. With delicious food to top it off, we would definitely love to visit again.

The staff are very friendly and proactively make sure you get what you expect, including giving me suggestions about kitesurfing, yoga and transportation before my arrival. Food is the best I’ve had in Cape Verde and loved the peaceful and slow 3-course dinners.

• MARC (10/5): Excellent séjour dans un magnifique petit hôtel de brousse situé au milieu de nulle part. - Très bon séjour dans un excellent hôtel situé en pleine nature. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme total de l'endroit (pas de tv, pas de clim.....), un service et des repas excellents. Un seul point d'amélioration nécessaire: Boa Vista est en Afrique, le soleil y est très chaud, et il y a très peu d'endroits où se reposer à l'ombre. Il suffirait de quelques toiles protégeant du soleil dans les nombreux endroits prévus pour la détente.

La piscina molto bella che sostituisce la mancanza di una spiaggia dove poter fare il bagno in mare. Avrei gradito poter mangiare i loro snack anche nella zona piscina. Abbiamo trovato qualche ragno in camera, che in un ambiente naturale sono comprendibili! Sarebbe carino un piccolo frigo bar in vamera per riporre le bevande al fresco.

Nonostante la posizione isolata (che comunque per noi è un plus, perfetta per godersi un paio di giorni nella quiete più totale), esistono diversi percorsi fattibili a piedi che portano al mare. Lo staff è davvero cordiale e disponibilissimo. Consiglio vivamente di spendere almeno un paio di giorni in questo paradiso se vi trovate a Boa Vista!

En general el lugar y como lo han rehabilitado, con decoración excelente para el entorno. Sin duda nos gustaría volver!! Nos ha gustado todo. Obviamente tienes que ser consciente de donde vas y lo que ello implica. Eco lodge y con acceso no necesariamente simple.

A former Portuguese fishing village that was restored to become a beautiful eco lodge. Staff, views, food and owner were all great and made us feel at home.

• Christian (8/5): - Die Ecolodge liegt sehr schön in der Einsamkeit. Ein altes umgebautes Fischerdorf. Die Bademöglichkeiten in der Nähe sind sehr beschränkt. In der Lodge gibt es auch keine Schattenplätze mit Sonnenschirmen wenn man im Schatten liegen möchte. Man hat wenig Möglichkeiten wegzukommen wenn man keinen Mietwagen hat (und die sind auf BoaVista Mangelware).

• Symonne (9/5): SUBLIME TRANQUIL GETAWAY - A sublime and tranquil getaway, Spinguera is like a world of its own. From the friendly staff to the calm location, you'll be able to completely disconnect, wander, get lost and find yourself. Their lovely dog was a highlight; he came with us on our long walks to the beach. Make sure to reserve the langouste for dinner (sweet and deliciously prepared). Big thank you to the staff — so fun, so friendly. We'll be back! No air-conditioning in the rooms, quite a few flies / mosquitos. Even though there's a fly net, if you want your room to cool down, you need to keep the windows / doors open to let the wind in, and that of course means a few noisy bugs. Not so bad, just something to consider!

A place where you can only here the birds, the wind an waves. A place with raw beauty, that takes your breath away. The decoration and love for the details are absolutely stunning. The beds are so confortable, the room has all you need, even a small bag to take your towels to the beach. Everything is so clean and well mantained. The Food is of a really high quality and delicious! The bread for the breakfast is served warm with really good jam and butter. Heaven! The Fruits and Juices are delicious! The dinner was everyday outstanding. Sofia and Fernando are passionate chefs! But let’s talk about the Staff… they really are something else and make this place stand out. Rosa is a true host with a big smile, very professional and always looking to please you. Elisangelo, Aleandro and Leo always very kind and with a big smile, ready to fulfill any wish of the guests. This people work with the heart and are so professional, with their big smiles - so contagious! It’s impossible not to carry them in your hearts. To thank them is an understatement, we absolutely fell in love with this peace an people. The raw beauty of the beaches in the area are stunning, different from Sal Rei etc. but beautiful in it’s own way. With turtles and sharks, you can feel nature in a heartbeat. The Shuttle Service three times a qeek to go to Sal Rei is amazing! During the ride you can always meet locals, which take a ride to Bofareira (a small little village nearby) which is amazing and ecological. This place is really a hidden gem with a special energy and we will return for sure! OBRIGADA Spinguera Team! Absolutely nothing! We loved the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere and you are completely away from the touristic places. If you want to explore the island we recommend to rent a car very early, the are rare!

Its beauty is matched by a wonderful team who are so friendly and helpful. Wonderful rooms, wonderful views, wonderful food. So much thought has gone into Spinguera, yet its charm lies in its simplicity. A completely relaxing and refreshing place to spend time. I can't wait to return.

No light pollution also meant it was possible to see the stars perfectly on a clear night. • Verified traveler (8/5): A true wilderness - A true wildernesses, amazing geology but with high winds not great for swimming. There is nothing but sand dunes and sea, the nearest town in half an hour away mostly down unmade, unsignposted roads and not to be tackled at night. Once you get in to it this is really a break from the modern world, remote, beautiful and relaxing
