- IgorI202 (10/5): The Best Luxury Resort on Kassandra! - Certainly the best and most luxurious resort on the first leg (Kassandra) . Although it is already the 9th year since its opening, everything is impeccably maintained and arranged. Excellently trained, cultural and friendly staff. We had booked a room with a garden view, an excellent choice, quiet, pleasant and arranged. Of course, in the club section, the rooms with their own private pool offer even greater comfort, but on another occasion. The choice of food is excellent, especially for dinner. ( alsо there was special menu for children). Maintenance and cleaning at a high level both in the room and in the bathroom / terrace area. The children's animation section is excellent with many opportunities for entertainment. The pools are clean, suitable for children and there are many options for massage and relaxation. Recommendation to visit the adults-only pool, a great place to relax (if you are able :) ) Our high recommendation and thanks for the pleasant stay, support to continue the good work. Note, lack of anatomical pillow even though I submitted a request via email two days before our arrival and pick up of beach towels only from one location.

- ruifB5242WU (8/5): Let’s call it a family hotel, not a spa - GENERAL: the hotel is NOT for couples and don't be fooled by the hotel's name (Thermal Spa) - this hotel is focused on families. You know what that means: count with (generally) 2 kids per table at the main restaurant (where the breakfast and buffet are served) and per parasol at the beach. There really is A LOT of kids at this hotel, the most we have seen in a resort. But if you decide to book the hotel, we would suggest you do it via the hotel's website since you will get slightly cheaper prices but most importantly you can be on the Miraggio Club which gives you access to certain parts of the hotel (more on that later). This type of booking was not possible via TUI (which we used to book our stay) and no upgrade was offered during check in, even though we basically paid more for less. We booked the package that included just the breakfast, so keep that in mind. Generally the hotel has nice standard when it comes to infrastructure. It's not the most modern resort we have been to in Greece but it's well taken care of and very clean overall. THE ROOM: the room was spacious. Cleaning happens every day. Some minor defects could be noted, but we would say that it's expected wear and tear at the end of the season. The wifi was pretty bad though. THE BEACH: this area of Halkidiki is not known for its beaches, so expect better beaches elsewhere. The beach was mainly small cobbles and the waters were not the crystal blue that you expect in Halkidiki. We didn't spend a single day at the beach because it was basically a kindergarten (a lot of screaming, splashing, toys everywhere). One third of the beach is reserved to the Miraggio Club members (again, book your room via the hotel's website). Private sun beds can be rented for 80 euros. THE POOLS: the pool areas and sun beds are generous. We didn't have to fight for sun beds even though we went to the pool around 10:00 (end of season though). The main pools will also have a lot of kids. Even the jacuzzi is a bubbling stew of small kids. Our salvation was the +18 adults only pool, where you could actually relax. You will still find some teenagers under the age of 18 around that pool, but they too seemed to crave some peace and quiet. The wifi was really bad in some parts around that pool. THE FOOD: we avoided the main restaurant (Kritamo) apart from breakfast (the only place where you can get it), mainly because it was hell. We have never seen that many kids in the same restaurant ever. There was running and a lot of screaming all the time. There was not a moment of silence during breakfast. The hotel should really consider creating a childfree zone, especially since it wants to be considered a Spa. There is no spa feeling what so ever about that restaurant. We ate at Portofino and Toroneo. The food was delicious, probably the best we have had in a greek resort. The food was, as expected, overpriced (for example: 25 euros for ONE grilled leg of octopus, in the land of octopus). Expect to pay at least 50-70 euros per person. The Elia restaurant is only for the Miraggio Club members (again, book your stay via the hotel’s website). LOCATION: since the hotel is located so further down in Halkidiki, arranging taxis will not be easy at all times. If you plan on traveling around or just staying up until late somewhere else, we recommend renting a car. We tried to book o taxi at 1am on a Saturday, and even called the hotel to ask for help, but no taxi was available in the whole region. The hotel should also consider having their own transfer service, considering how big it is. Overall it was 7.5/10. If you have kids, you will probably enjoy the hotel much more.

The problem of the hotel , is the quality of the food. The food quality is not of five star hotel and not even two stars. The buffet dinner and breakfast is one of the worst we ever had. Also the restaurants are less than average. After two days of the buffet and two restaurants we tried and needed to add money , we asked to cancel the half board and eat outside (which was great Greek food) , the management of the hotel refused to return the money for the days we didn’t eat at the hotel. They charge you for everything, even kids club, spa ….and will never agree to refund for problems the hotel has.

- 739cy (8/5): Revised review - Initially, we were very happy with this hotel: the Club room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable so we slept well. Staff have clearly been told to be friendly - some genuinely are while other say the right words but their face tells a different story. Other guests appeared predominantly from eastern european countries and other parts of Greece with many obviously having driven here. While this is listed as a five star resort - our impression was that four stars would be more appropriate. Yes it does have amenities - a spa / multiple restaurants / multiple places to swim and sunbathe / multiple sports possibilities and a childrens club……but the staff are very inexperienced. We had a couple of small issues and they were dealt with appropriately - but only once a manager was involved. There are issues with some guests feeling that the rules didn’t apply to them - eg no under 18s in one outdoor pool but this was taken care of by hotel staff quickly…..children under 16 are not allowed in the gym but this went unchallenged. Club members have a separate area on the beach - and in this section, there are beach cabanas reserved for guests staying in suites. Clearly the suites were not occupied and so these cabanas sat empty - guests could have paid 200euros to occupy these unused cabanas: really? The hotel should review this potential revenue stream because it is simply greedy to expect 200 euros…… On a final point - the food was okay but not what would have expected for a truly five star facility.

- PaulHollis321 (6/5): They would not give our car keys back until we settled the bill lol... - Despite some of the bad reviews we read before our visit (nearly didn’t book), our stay was actually mostly very good. But that’s not to say it was without problems. We chose a club room on half board. On arrival we were greeted and offered a drink while the porter parked our car and delivered our bags to the room. Overall check-in was good and we felt welcome at the hotel. They even put some nibbles and a bottle of prosecco in the room which was a nice touch. The club room was spacious and clean with a stunning Seaview balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was well appointed and exactly what was expected of this 5-star hotel. The hotel communal areas (although a little empty of art and decoration in some areas) were clean and well kept, with highly polished floors. The Spa and pools were all a great feature of the hotel. We enjoyed all the salt water pools of varying temperatures throughout the hotel, as well as the well-equipped gym, sauna’s and steam room. The experience showers were sadly broken and only partly worked on our visit. With our room rate we got free access to the Spa pools. I must say we would not have paid the normal 50 Euro per person per day to use this area. On average we only spent 1 hour a day in the spa, so paying the extra would just not be worth it. The hotel should always include spa entry in to the room rate as many others have said, or limit access to two hours a day per guests to avoid overload. The beach is on a slope, so they have built platforms for the sunbeds and cabanas. We were promised a private beach area for club guests with a Cabana in our welcome letter. It was later found out the cabanas were for Suite guests only and the side of the beach for normal guests was closed with no sun beds, so the entire hotel had full use of the private beach normally reserved for club guests. Not a big problem, as it was quiet anyway, but we did pay extra for club benefits that were not received. As club guests we were also promised breakfast in a separate restaurant called Elia, but sadly this was not the case. Instead, the entire hotel was also invited to Elia as apparently the hotel was not busy enough to open both. Standard guests benefited from a free upgrade, but sadly club guests had to share the space with everyone else, meaning we could not sit on the sea view balcony area or get very good service as it was packed! As many have described in previous reviews, tea and coffee and general service at breakfast is a shambles. We waited nearly 30 mins some days to get a coffee & tea that was then delivered with out milk. There was one guy and one machine serving the entire hotel! It was a complete joke. When we complained about the slow dis-jointed service we were told the strangest thing by the member of staff. She advised us not to complain! She then went on to say the management of the hotel do not take complaints well and that we should just suggest to them, but never complain. She went on to tell us that they were short staffed and management do not listen to the staff, as she had brought up these issues many times before. We asked to speak to the manager for the breakfast, but were informed the manager was not there, so no one was managing. Unmanaged, the staff were completely inefficient in the way they were working. Some were arguing openly with each other and did not work as a team. They appeared to stick to either clearing plates, sweeping the floor or taking orders (no cross over). This just didn’t work, as we tried to order milk with one server, who instead of getting the milk got another server to come to our table and ask what we wanted, even though we had already told her we wanted milk. This next server then went to the only guy making the coffee and asked him for the milk. As he was busy, it took a further 8 mins to pour a jug of milk, by which time the tea was cold anyway. They then deliver the milk and expect you to be thankful. Its not service, its madness. This type of service only comes from bad management, or lack of it. This is not the fault of the staff, it is 100% coming from the top. The actual breakfast buffet was very good, so congratulations to the chefs and kitchen team. Other areas of the hotel suffered similarly low levels of service. Drinks were left round the pool areas all day and not cleared until the very end of the day. Most of the time, staff including the life guards were more interested in their phones than doing anything else, again a complete lack of management and training (not their fault). Compared to the week we just spent in Sani resort, it was like night and day. Mirragio needs to take a good look at staff training and perhaps send them to Sani for some work experience to help improve service. At Sani resort they cannot do enough for you, even laying out the towel on your sunbed . Here, you would be lucky to even get a "good morning"! The dine around restaurant Porta Fino was very good. If on half board you get 30 Euro per person off the bill. All the food in this restaurant was freshly prepared and service was very good from Vassiliki (one of the best staff members). Sommeilier 8 meat the other restaurant was at best average and overpriced for a steak house. They claimed the steaks were USDA or Wagua, but looking at them in the cabinet, I had strong doubts. A starter of chips with truffle & cheese was tasty, with hand cut chips and plenty of truffle. It’s a shame they then served frozen chips with the 70 euro steak!! I asked for my ribeye rare, but it came medium. I could not be bothered to complain, so consumed it any way. It was certainly not dry aged or prime, but it was acceptable. My partner had the trio of burgers that were sadly dry, tasteless and disappointing. The butter trio served with the bread was also rock hard straight out the fridge. Some improvments are needed here! The main Buffet restaurant however, was actually very good. The lighting and the furniture are awful. It really is like a school canteen with bright flood lights. The service was not great either and you have to find your own table and battle to get someones attention for drinks. The seating outside on the balcony was a long way from the buffet, but had lower candle level lighting and a more relaxed feel. Food in general was good, and despite being told they do not have fish on the buffet, we found perch fillets, sole fillets, seabass fillets, smoked salmon and mackerel. There was also plenty of good bread, salads, cheese and meat dishes, including lamb cutlets one night! Overall, the chef put on a good selection of quality food. Please just label the food and train the staff, as we found they did not know what was in half the food and some dishes had no labels! The seafood restaurant in the port, was closed for our entire stay, but we were aware of this before booking. Water, or lack of it has been mentioned by many guests in previous reviews. We got one large bottle delivered to our room free each day, which we also took to the restaurant in the evening to avoid being charged. To top up your water bottle, go to the gym where they offer free water. I agree with the other reviews, free filtered tap water is required in all the restaurants and on the beach and pool areas. Hopefully this will sink in with management. Entertainment was a bit sketchy. The singer on one evening sounded tone deaf, so we avoided the bar on that evening. Other areas shut early in the evening due to it being quiet (low season) . We did however get a free archery lesson which was fun. They also have bikes, basket ball, tennis courts and football all at additional costs. There is also good local hiking and running trails. Concierge for the club rooms closed on day two of our trip, this was due low season and I presume reducing down staffing levels. No big deal for us, as we used the hotel app for communication instead. During our stay we also received a complimenty spa treatment as we did not use the free airport transfers. This was a 50 minuet massage delivered very well by the host. The receptionist (spa manager) was a bit put out when we went to book it, as she had apparantly not been informed by the management that we had this benifit and made a bit of a fuss about taking the booking demanding we share the name of the person who authorised it and calling reception to confirm it was the case (staff training needed). Overall however, we had a fairly good stay until check out. Sadly, we were wrongly informed by reception (via whatsapp) that we would get 30 euro per person off the entire bill in any of the dine around restaurants. What they neglected to tell us was, this was food only. On our last evening we just had dessert and bottle of bubbly, so were surprised when we were charged an additional 50 euro. The server in the restaurant assured us it was the fault of the hotel and this would be rectified on check out, but we were sadly met with confrontation. Instead of apologising, the receptionist refused to take any responsibility for the misinformation and demanded we pay the full bill. They even refused to give back the keys to the hired car until it was settled. It was really quite amusing, not sure what they expected us to do. Jump in the car and drive off for 50 euro lol! She then got the restaurant manager to come down, who was also confrontational and angry saying he would have to pay personally if we did not. We later found out from speaking to staff, that the management/ owners at this hotel hold departments responsible for mistakes made and money is taken or offered directly from the staff or department manager to cover this. There is a real fear of management at this hotel and what will happen if customers complain or costs are not covered. This is a terrible way to manage a business and the owners and senior managers should be ashamed of themseleves for this type of management. It causes division and arguments and is completely unfair to the staff and customers. They eventually agreed to take the 50 euro off our bill and we settled up and left, but what a terrible ending to what could have otherwise been a really good stay. My overall opinion is that this hotel has the potential to be a really great luxury retreat, but requires better management and staff training in all departments in order to reach the level required. The infrastructure is in place, it just needs the right management. Before you book, read a few Sani resort reviews, nearly everyone mentions the staff and service, sadly that is not the case a Mirragio. We would however book again knowing it downfalls, as the price in low season was fairly reasonable and the facilities are really very good, as was the room and the food. Good luck!

However, the poor perception, lack of empathy, provocative ignorance and the deepest egoism of the Front Office employees have driven us away, only half hour after check in . After hundreds of overnights in hundreds of hotels all over the world, it was about time this to happen to our family. Our deepest condolences to the General Manager and especially to HR for its selection capability. Next time we wouldn't dare to visit you, EVEN IF IT WAS FOR FREE!!!
- anastasiosz2014 (8/5): Miraggio Thermal Spa Resort - Miraggio is very nice resort. This was our second visit and the beach was very enjoyable.As per our previous visit the grounds are well kept. We were able to visit the Spa and the thermal pools; it was very relaxing experience. We booked a half board and the buffet was good with many choices. All the staff (restaurants and on the grounds) were very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will look to go back again next year.

Staff is very professional, courteous, energetic and always seeking to serve and please. Rooms are good. Pools and beach are great. The big issue is with the foods and drinks price vs quality. We did only attended the breakfast/evening buffet and the pool restaurants - we did not try out the a-la-cart restaurants - however, for the prices charged - even these should have been top notch - and unfortunately all fell short. We resorted to heading to the local restaurants in the nearby town which are 70% cheaper and offer much better quality dishes.

- Vasilios (2/5): STAY AWAY. This is a scam! - This hotel was a huge disappointment. Such a beautiful facility with the WORST customer service. This is NOT 5star. I’ve stayed in better hotels in the villages. 1. NO AIR CONDITIONING. I thought it was working, but they said their system only decreases the temps by 5C. It was 39C outside. My room was very very hot and humid. 2. NO HOT WATER. Enjoy a fun cold shower. Only had hot water the first night. 3. Cleaning crew enters room with DO NOT DISTURB on…. Surprise! 4. Servers act like they don’t want to be there. Waited 45minutes to get a round of drinks…. At 5star prices. 5. Food Options. I’ve had better food at Disneyland, and probably cheaper. I actually drove to town and ate a local Taverna with my family. 6. This did not feel like Greece. I’m Greek and I know what Greek hospitality and this was not it. I do have to say they did give us a free buffet dinner ($250 value???-not drinks included $70 cost) to make up for everything that when wrong. I appreciate the gesture, but after I dropped $3000 for 2 nights not sure that made up for 2 nights with out sleep because the room was too hot.

We chose a club room type but there was no nightly room preparation, nor the perks they offered in the room. In the spas, one sauna was not working as well as the hammam. At breakfast we didn't manage to drink coffee as we waited 45 minutes but our order never arrived. However the heated pools are the strong point of the hotel and we really enjoyed them...

Zu verbessern wäre noch Schattenmöglichkeiten bei den Spiel-/Badeplätzen für die Kinder. Das Babyplanschbecken ist toll, steht aber völlig ungeschützt frei in der Sonne.

- JOVANCO (10/5): - Really enjoyed the experience. The facilities were lovely. Can’t go past the pool and the beach. It was so scenic! With a family there were lots of activities for the kids to do including beach games and football that were hosted by Miraggio staff. The music of an evening in the oasis lounge was a highlight as was the thermal spa. (However 50 euro additional charge for the spa) Only draw back was the cost and not a lot of variety of restaurants (4- one was closed) so you end up going to the same ones over and over, which got a bit boring. You need to have car as we went into pkehori one night and it cost 40 euros for the taxi there and back - 10min ride. We will come back to Miraggio but we will book a club room or a room closer to the pool and rent a car at Thessaloniki airport.
- nachshon (6/5): Very bad experience - As a VIP customer, I expect an upgraded room when available. The reception made the opposite - downgraded me to the worst room in the hotel, asking money for updrade, when at least 33% of the hotel is EMPTY. In the room - sinks where plumbed, balcony is below the road level, blocked by the road one meter from it. Lights went on and off during the night without control, waking us up again and again. Outside - due to rain - sea shore, all pools and restaurents were closed. Inside spa was available for extra charge, but, so croudy - not even enough chairs for all the people there. Simply terrible!!

I dont recommend this hotel due to the way they treat thier guests
- Marius (10/5): - Happy to have chosen Miraggio for the holiday! Let me explain why. The resort is new, beautiful architecture and interior design, quality in every detail and in materials used (natural stone and wood), excellent service from all staff who makes you feel important and welcome all the time, with a kind smile. The beach is great, sandy, big distance between sunbeds on Club Members beach, thag also provides has very nice cabanas, water crystal clear. Impresssive boats in the resort marina. Pools large and l well maintained, with jacuzzi. Serenity in adults only pool, swimming among palm trees. Excellent breakfast in Evria restaurant, with eggs menu, greek coffee, prosecco, and diverse and delicious food. Good and diverse food as well at dinner buffet. Live music and very pleasant atmosphere every night at main bar terrace, overlooking the sea. Valet parking for the car. The room in the Club Members wing was large, very confortable, beautiful bathroom, cleaned several times a day, and using its private pool in the hot afternoons was a real delight! Special thanks to Nikolaos, our host, for the beautiful surprise he (and thebl resort) made for us as we have celebrated our birthdays there, and for the whole holiday experience at Miraggio!

- NENA (10/5): Very pleasant - We visited the hotel mainly as a relaxation treat. Cons: 1. During our check in, we had a problem with the door keys but it was resolved fairly quickly. 2. We asked for a double bed and we could feel that it was twin beds attached, but the top mattress was very thin and we could feel the single bed frame in the middle section. For a resort room, I’d expect a more comfortable double bed. Pros: Overall, stay was very pleasant, the facilities were in great condition. Room inside was nice, clean, the air-con was very responsive, good variety of amenities, complimentary coffee, tea, water and fresh fruits. We particularly enjoyed the spa facilities and the pool areas. Staff very friendly and polite. Also, the beach was very nice.

- Amina (8/5): - The Miraggio was a pleasing stay, however that it was overpriced. We always stay in 5* hotels. We felt that for the price we paid we should have been offered half board. The price for the buffet restaurant was ridiculous. €45 per adult and €20 for children over 5 was extortionate, considering what we had already paid for the room. We had submitted a complaint regarding their failure to tell us children were not free. A manager kindly spoke to us and offered to waive €50 for late check out. We thought this was really kind and made us feel good about our stay as our flight was so late, this gave us more time to enjoy the hotel. However at check out, when we went to pay for our extras the lady behind the counter just told us the amount without providing a full breakdown of the costs incurred, tapped it into card machine and asked us to pay. I then thought I would like to see a full receipt of our costs just to make sure the overall price was correct. We have stayed in 5* hotels across the world, whenever we check out the staff ALWAYS prints out the full balance and presents it to us so we can understand how the amount has been calculated. The lady agreed to give me a printout but then proceeded to stuff it into an envelope. I said no need for envelope I want to see balance now. When we looked the fee of €50 was added to our bill. Had I not asked for a breakdown we would have paid. She corrected the amount. I found this very unprofessional.
- Christopher (6/5): - Die Unterkunft entspricht in jedem Fall im Hinblick auf die Ausstattung und der Aufmachung einem 5-Sterne Hotel. Auch das Essen ist hervorragend! Insbesondere die Desserts sind ein Traum!!! Der Service ist zumindest teilweise dürftig. Am ersten Tag wurde die bestellte Flasche Wasser einfach nur auf den Tisch gestellt. Einschenken und Nachschenken mussten wir selbst. Ein No-Go in einem 5-Sterne Haus! Am nächsten Tag hat es jedoch funktioniert. Zu erwähnen ist in jedem Fall, dass dieses Haus überwiegend von Russen beherbergt wird. Entsprechendes ignorantes und rücksichtsloses Verhalten ist vorprogrammiert. Im Spa-Bereich gilt (logischerweise) Handyverbot! Aber an Regeln wollen sich die Russen nicht halten. Face-Time mit Führung durch den Spa-Bereich sind keine Seltenheit. Außerdem wird lautstark kommuniziert, so dass eine Entspannung nicht möglich ist. Das Personal unternimmt gegen das Fehlverhalten ebenfalls nichts. Für uns war es definitiv das letzte Mal im Hause Miraggio. Schade eigentlich.

All the pools are sea water it’s important to mention (I don’t think it’s amazing for kids) we didn’t know until we checked in. The location is very far and not really recommended to people wants to go and travel during the day. Overall it’s ok hotel with a lot of potential to be great hotel.
- Suryakant (10/5): Great relaxing family holiday - Perfect place if you want to get away from the busy life and be just within the resort nothing for 5km. The entertainment particularly the show Miraggio On Ice was excellent stars from around the world. All staff were always helpful and friendly especially Vitalis from the entertainment team. Only had a couple of issues that I was not happy with which were :- 1, Flys in restaurant area few of the times. We did report it to the management. 2, very disappointed that no water was provided for drinking except 2 500ml bottles when you check in and at other times you had to purchase each bottle for €3. I did point this out at checking in that it was very petty they had to do this at least sell them at a reasonable price.

- Verified traveler (4/5): The worst service ever , beach covered with rocks - I have never experienced such a bad service like in this place. It's not understaffed , that could be a good excuse if it was . Quite contrary , they place had endless people working there all appearing to be confused and not knowing answer to anything , making mistakes in each and every situation . Everything went wrong from the moment when we stepped in . First , there should be " welcome drink " as you wait for them to find the room for you ( we came there at 2;20 pm and room was not ready ) But there was no any welcome drink . No any VIP checking-in either as it says on my booking that it should be . Moving on , the room was average , not properly cleaned, for 3 of us they have left for us only 2 towel sets. For 3 beach towels again they gave us only 2 " towel cards " so again no beach towels for all 3 of us . There should be a bottle of vine waiting at our room , as per my booking. Of course it wasn't there . I had to complain about it 3-4 times before they eventually brought. When we booked another restaurant ( Italian ) at the hotel there was supposed to be one time 50 Euro discount . Of course they have made a mistake and made only 30 Euro discount , I had to complain to have that corrected . For around 300 Euro per day we got " Garden View Room " which was actually view at the wall and passing vehicles / supply tracks . The hotel beach - do not bother , huge endless sharp rocks. We really regret choosing this place . Never again .

Service is good, however I wouldn't recommand to use hotel service for day trips or any other activities they are offering. Hotel would charge 3 times more then making the reservations by yourself. Hotel is located at a remote area with no close by towns, so car is a must if you want to be mobile. All in all except for the activity booking services hotel is recommended.

However, couple minor issues. 1. Hotel has a policy of charging 6 euros for every room service order, no matter how big or small. When asked about it at front desk and guest relations, I was told by 3 different people that every 5* hotel does it. As if educating a little person like me that I knew nothing of this 5* luxury life. Forcing me to explain that I have traveled before and have seen other 5* hotels and have Never experienced room service charge. 2. Few times when aksed about certain services, first thing we were told is 'it's extra', without realising the issue (example: refilling the free coffee/tea station in the room). 3. For a hotel of high class and corresponding prices, you could educate staff at the front desk and guest relations on how to talknto the guests. 4. Restaurant, bars, valet parking, beach staff, kids club staff were all absolutely fantastic. Overall, top notch hotel and we will definitely be visiting again.

No where is written that you should pay additional fee for the shows in Miraggio Theatre. Not well organised make up room service. The room was cleaned only twice for a week without call. It’s no good practice to clean the rooms between 2-4 pm when the small kids are in the bed. It will be good to improve the breakfast with some seasonal fruits as watermelon, melon, cherry- not only oranges, bananas and apples. Need to improve beach bar food with some healthy suggestions -some fish or soups or pizzas.

- Leeandra-Jade (10/5): - Wow what an amazing hotel in a beautiful location! As we drove through the winding roads we wasn’t sure what to expect. We arrived late due to a missed flight & were greeted by staff who promptly got us to our room where a light snack was awaiting. When we woke up the next morning we finally got to see the amazing grounds of the hotel & began to familiarise ourselves with all that the resort had to offer. Breakfast was great, such a huge variety along with Dinner too. The kids club was fantastic & the staff were superb with my 5yr old daughter. The pools were huge & the beach was beautiful, staff provided games & entertainment around the pool daily. You couldn’t really ask for more as the resort had all the boxes ticked! We would definitely return.
- Jannis (10/5): Beautiful resort - but service was disappointing - The resort and its area was very nice, beautiful, amazing place to spend a few days. The room was really good and spacious too. In any case, we loved the hotel itself. My impression was that most other guests, like 80%, were Russian. On the downsides, the service was rather slow. At times you have to wait a long time to get your car or arrange something. The location is remote, so you need a car if you even want to go to the town or another restaurant outside the hote. One thing that we were really unhappy about, was when I urgently had to send a package via courier. I left the package at the reception and was assured the courier comes twice a week so it will be sent the same day or 2 days after that. It took them 2.5 weeks to send it! the hotel staff only remembered about charging me (8.5 EUR) after 1.5 weeks and only sent the package 1 week after that. It took several emails and phone calls. Very unprofessional.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - The good: Resort is new and beautiful, great pool area, and the staff is superrr friendly! The bad: Beach is small and very rocky and ton of algae. It is NOT a “spa retreat”, it’s a family resort. If you’re expecting a quiet or romantic getaway, this is not the place for you, as almost every guest has little ones. Food is subpar, something you would expect from a 2 or 3-star hotel. Also, pretty much strictly American menu, and coming from North America, not what I wanted or expected. Food and beach are the reasons I come to Greece every year.. this hotel didn’t live up to any of my previous experiences. Room service is terrible, we waited 1.5 hrs to get a hot dog and French fries and when it arrived, the fries was very stale. Restaurants are quite pricey to be eating there every night, so we opted for room service which is the pool restaurant menu, but don’t expect too much. Dinner buffet is the only restaurant that doesn’t require a reservation but we were told it’s 40 euro per person and that it’s better to eat a la carte. I’m more disappointed in Expedia than the hotel for this particular reason: the hotel is rated as VIP and we paid a VIP price. Yet, locals can come in and use the hotel facilities, crowd around the pool all day for a small fee. I don’t exactly feel like I’m staying in a safe or VIP resort if anyone off the street can come in throughout the day and use it as they please.

On site restaurants a little pricey, but lots of other options in the beautiful surrounding villages. Would definitely recommend for peaceful rest and relaxation. The SPA is a must.
